This was my first time going into Santa Fe meats. This is a great neighborhood meat market with very friendly butchers. I ordered six filet mignons cut to order for a party, and everyone raved about them. Plus, they were a good value. This is now my go-to source for fine meats.

Amazing meat. Very affordable and amazing cuts. Can find what you need. The guacamole and salsa are delicious.

This is a nice Mexican market it smells very good as soon as you enter. I came for the carne asada I still have yet to try it. The customer service to this place is Remarkable!! We will be coming back . I will update about the food in a few 😊 sooo i forgot your update lol anyways the carne asada was bombbbbb ❤️ compared to others this ones very very tastey 👍👍

I was pleasantly surprised to come across this locally owned shop while searching for a butcher near me. I walked in & was greeted right away by the lovely woman behind the counter, then also by the gentlemen behind the butcher counter. They helped me pick out two great cuts of steak along with some bacon. I was also able to grab some fresh produce that would tie the meal together & I was really happy I could do it all in one place. Their use of Apple Pay made things very convenient. I will definitely be back & I’m looking forward to trying some of the amazing smelling food they were cooking in the restaurant portion of the shop next time.

This little store is awesome! Ive been going to this store for over 20 years. Its grown and changed owners over the years but the new owner, Pete, is a really nice guy and very customer service oriented. They have a great selection of meats and more importantly cold beer. And their chicharones are awesome!

We have to travel all the way from Mira Mesa (30 miles) to get our meats here, but boy is it worth it. Try the marinated carne asada on your grill at your next family get together of you want a lot of compliments. It is the best tasting in San Diego!

We had to have work done on our VDub, and Sam at Superior Automotive next door told us your place had great food. He wasn’t kidding. Not Americanized Mexican food like so many places serve,but the real thing. Can’t pronounce most of the names, but it was awesome food. Only problem now is every Mexican place we eat at back home in NY sucks now. Hopefully get back out that way soon. 👌😁

Honestly I havent tasted the standing rib roast I bought there today but I can guarantee I will never be back no matter how it tastes. It was very obvious the two women working at the counter did not want my business. They couldnt be bothered to stop their conversation to so much as make eye contact with the only gringo in the store. Not one word was spoken to me throughout the entire transaction. I guess I was too Caucasian to be polite to. Dont worry, ladies. You will never have to see my white face in your establishment again.

I have been going here for over 14 years for their Flap Meat Prepared (Carne Asada) Its the best in San Diego, if you ask me.I love what theyve done with the place. Much more open. And the staff is always friendly.

This is a small butcher shop that has one of the best carne asada I have ever tasted. One of the greatest things about this particular shop is the ability to choose you cut of meat, (which is always fresh) and have the butcher cut it just the way you like it. then have it prepared with their secret marinade. The marinade works wonderfully with meats and chicken. However, if you do not have the patience to wait to get home to cook and prepare your tacos/ burritos, you can have a taco or burrito right there. Since they have a small taco shop inside. Which offers great food.

One of the few privately owned companies Left in Chula vista..They also serve Mexican food that is freshly cook with excellent prices.And the coldest beer served in town with a decent selection..

Didnt see any big shopping carts so I had to carry all my big items in a little basket. Besides that they are friendly there but dont have a big selection besides the meats.

The Ribeye bone in was delicious !! I bought 2 had to go back and buy another 2 it was so soft and tender it was yummy hard to get Ribeye like that I just made sure when I ask the butcher make sure I got fat good marbel inside and he did you gotta check this place out!!!! 5 🌟

Best pollo Asada in San Diego. Comes pre-marinated and is amazing. I alway get the “leg meat” pollo asada. Their flap meat and queso fresco is also fantastic. The owner Mark is super helpful and the nicest guy ever. Try this place next time you are having a BBQ.

Best pollo and carne asada. Pick out meat from the butcher and ask him to marinate it. Flap meat for beef and boneless thighs for chicken. Holidays be prepared to wait..it gets busy......BECAUSE ITS THAT GOOD.
