Dulcet did an amazing job on my daughters birthday cake. Not only did they design it exactly the way I wanted it, but it was also delicious. My daughter had a last minute party theme change and they were able to accommodate the change. She absolutely loved it! I highly recommend their services.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dulcet!!!!! The owner-baker made my husband a beautiful cake for his commissioning ceremony. Not only does it look gorgeous but it tasted amazing. This was a surprise cake for my husband with only a week notice and she had no problem taking my order. Customer service was amazing!!!! Upon delivery, I saw the owner-baker delivered the cake with care and She told me not to worry about paying for the rest now and just enjoy myself. This right there show how awesome the customer service is. This place has exceed my familys expectations. My only regret was not finding this place sooner. I recieved many compliments from family and friends, I even gave some friends your information. This is a awesome bakery! All of the pastries taste so good and are freshly made through out the day! Ive been there at different times and as late as 5pm and fresh pastries were being put out. Im a very picky person and this is the BEST Bakery around! It also has very good prices.

Bought cake and it was super hard. They refunded my money back and ended up charging me again. First and last time I will go there again. Ladies were nice but the guy who helped me was not and he actually told me to write this review if I was not happy with his service. This is not how you do business or try to have a returning customer. Never again will I return to Chicos Bakery!

This place was highly recommended from a friend so I decided to get a quote, unfortunately I am out of town but was having a party in SD so had to get a quote over the phone. I understand the employee who asked the phone was probably busy but she was super short and said to just email them with my details. I emailed them immediately, a week later didnt get a response so I decided to call again, who ever answered was a little friendlier this time around but said the person who replies to emails was not working and to call back the following day. On that next day I got another email, asking a few more questions so I can get a quote, replied immediately again and a month later I am still waiting for another reply! Needless to say, because their lack of customer service I will never go there or recommend them to anyone

I purchased printed cake picture sheet. Sugar sheet. It was easy, fast, and really great price. And customer service was the best. Im definitely going to go to them again whenever I have a theme party and in need for a picture to be printed.

Ive been going to Chicos since I was little. I havent been to Chicos in 5 years and was craving Thier Mexican style pastries. My favorite being the puerquito . Went in and someone just peaked out of the back to say hi and go back in. I went out with 4 of my favorites for $5. Back then it would have been $3. Molasses pig was so dry it could have been gingerbread pig. The custard roll tasted generic as hell and the ojo de guey is dry as well. I think they are a more cake focused now, because Thier Mexican breads suck. This crushed my cravings forever for Chicos pasteries, and only took a bite out of each one and threw them away (I know its a sin). Even el super and food4less pasties are more moist and tasty than Chicos pasties now. Customer no more. Sorry old friends

Ive been coming to chicos since I was a child. They have always been the best bakery in Chula vista. But ever since its been under new management its been a mess. The familiar faces are gone and Im assuming so are the original bakers because there wasnt any bread in sight.Prices have fluctuated and theyre pretty cold when it comes to customer service. As if us who have been loyal customers have to put up w them... Its not personal experience anymore and that homey feeling is gone. I tried giving it a try but was extremely dissapionted. After all these years I will no longer be coming here. Have to find a new bakery.
