First time customer at Donut Bar and heres how it went. Amazing service from Dilana, great selection of Donuts to choose from at such a late time in the afternoon. And the Donut was absolutely yummy! Id call this more of a dessert, than a donut.Its not a daily thing, but definitely a small business that we all need to support!Keep up the great work in our community, your Donuts are delicious.

This is a cute donut bar. The girl that helped us was very nice and very helpful. All the donuts looked so good. The ones we picked were Amazing!! The Unicorn donuts tasted like Delicious cake, the Caramel Maple donuts were full of flavor and the Cremee Brulee was Spectacular and my personal favorite. The price for these donuts were somewhat expensive, but it definitely is worth the money and much better quality and taste than a regular donut shop.

Always fun flavors, and I love that it’s local! My son is a big fan of The Homer and I love the Blueberry with Meyer Lemon Cake Donut! Cafe Moto coffee is great too!

Great customer service. Cake batter and vanilla bean are my daughters favorite. All donuts are delicious. Try their dalgona coffee it very refreshing

Where do I start off first this is a must go place if you are in Eastlake great hidden gem. The doughnuts are so fresh and taste amazing a must for family and friends. Also if the doughnuts didn’t do the trick the great customer service that they have is second to none keep up the good work and great delicious doughnuts 🍩.

I called in to the store to order from Donut Bar for my daughters birthday. Her birthday theme was unicorn 🦄. Although they closed within the hour the manager made it happen! She gave us the unicorn donut and the birthday 🍩. She truly was apart of making my daughters birthday special ❤

Love donut bar and their options (usually 5/5). I often go to the downtown location and finally got to visit the store in Eastlake. We bought Creme brulee, lemon pistachio, and 6 other flavors that were excellent. Minus 1 star because we ordered the cheese grill donut and 1/2 of the dough was still raw. Ive seen other people post the same item and it looks delicious, it wasnt too busy in the store,......So it was probably just an off day.

This place is great. I’ve been there multiple times and always have an excellent experience. I’ve never waiting more than 5 minutes even with a line out the door. My coffee is always made quickly and always tastes great. The donuts are HUGE. Good price for the size and we always go on the days they do freebies for the kids! I love this place and with continue to support them. If you haven’t tried them yet it’s a must!

The donuts are pretty looking but not the greatest ever. They are way overpriced for what you get. Their staff is horrendously slow. This is the only donut place that Ive gone to where it will without a doubt take over 10 minutes to be served a coffee and donut, even if you are the only person there. The staff absolutely has no sense of urgency. All their coffee is made differently every day and each employee has their own way to make the same drink. Ive gone 3 days in a row to get an iced coffee and its has varied each time. Ive gotten a cup of cream and sweetener with a splash of coffee to a jet black cup of super bitter sludge. Feel free to give this place a shot but dont expect them to be as good as the downtown location. You are better off at Krispy Kreme a block away.

Visited the San Diego/Chula Vista area and read tremendous reviews on the size, selection and quality of donuts here. As a donut connoisseur I was very much looking forward to trying this place out and boy was I disappointed. Went there Friday morning half hour after they opened. First off, the location/parking lot is a complete disaster. Its located within a little shopping mall and Im assuming due to covid they have several rows of parking spots roped off so just to park you had to drive around and park far away. Keep in mind this was very early in the morning so the shops were not busy. Once I finally got inside I was amazed at how small their shop was and the lack of selection. They only had two small windows with maybe 10 pans of donuts and a few of pans were duplicates. They tout their unicorn donut, their homer Simpson donut among others and none were to be found. I asked them is this all you have or will you be making more? They told me these were the only donut flavors theyd be making today. I immediately left without buying any. Fast forward to the next day, I went back to give them another chance figuring maybe on a weekend they have a wider selection. I was waiting outside prior to opening. Same extremely small selection as the day before. Since Id gone there twice I decided to buy a couple donuts to make it worth my time. I bought two nutella overload donuts. 7 dollars total. Complete joke. Will never be back.

Amazing donuts! Im not a huge fan of sweets, but these donuts are too good to pass up! The French toast is the best. Not too sweet and very light.Highly recommend getting something fresh and then taking home a box so you can taste all of the other varieties. The espresso is a great contrast.The location is amazing. Lots of seating outside with a garden, water feature, and shade. Excellent staff as well!

Never have the maple bacon donut. Just a little advice, donut bar should stock up more on popular items and less on homer donuts that look like 711 homer donuts..Overall, descent place for crazy donuts. Just do not expect to obtain a maple bacon if you do not show up before the doors open...MORE MAPLE BACON DONUTS

Overpriced, greasy and dry. It was my first time here. Cost almost $10 for 3 donuts and they werent fantastic.

Under new management, Donut Bar has reopened and I went this morning knowing with everything going on right now, I had a slim chance of getting donuts for my son’s birthday. We arrived to closed doors and a Sold Out sign. But then the owner opened the doors as we walked away and said he had a few more left. I told him we’d take them. He came out with 2 boxes full & said this order was never picked up. He handed them to us and the 3 boys working said happy birthday to my son and sent us on our way. Great service and friendly faces. Made my son’s day. We’ll be back really soon!!

WOW! Best donuts Ive ever had! Im not a person who thinks of donuts as something to go out for, but this place changed my mind. They have a good variety of unique flavors to try like the maple, bacon bar and strawberry shortcake. All are delicious. You order them individually and pay between $1-$5 ea. so no order by the dozen discount here. Also, there is usually a line and they close when they run out. Ive heard 1pm is their latest opening so far. The coffee is really good to and very inexpensive. Bottom line.. Delicious, unique, get there early, priced accordingly

Good doughnuts and the Eastlake location has very friendly service.If youre going to show videos in the store, show more videos that show case the family business and the people that support these great tasting donuts.

THIS LOCATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSEDWe waited until today to finally try this place. And we were not disappointed. The service was fabulous. This mornings crew was friendly, quick and attentive. The girl with the donut earrings? Super sweet! We got two poptart donuts, the homer, a vanilla bean, unicorn & strawberry shortcake. Everyone loved them. Even my dog. ;) The pop tart donut is every baked persons dream. 😂✌🏼

If youre looking for giant, creative donuts, you have to try this place! The original location in SD is in downtown. That location is cool to go to if you can make it downtown before they sell out. But, if you live in the Chula Vsta Suburbs... they just opened a location in the Eastlake area. Its smaller, but they still have a great selection of donuts to choose from.Also, standing in line (inevitable if you want these donuts) is a much nicer experience here. There is a nice relaxing vibe with outdoor chairs and pond with fish and turtles in front of the shop.

This place is amazing. The donurs are very delicious and the staff are super friendly. All four of my kids got balloons and my older Two were given green donuts. I recommend.

We ordered the apple fritter with bacon n it was dry. The mudslide donut was ok. The best one was the coconut donut it was really good. But honestly the donuts are overpriced. Marys donuts are much better.

Not sure what people are talking about. Went today for the first time. I got a red velvet donut and it had absolutely no flavor. My son tried the funfetti which was dry and flavorless. Wont even bother trying the other one. Ive had donuts from little mom/pop shop that are a lot tastier. Disappointed, glad it was empty and didnt waste any time waiting in line.
