Pros:-Tasty Mexican food-Good variety of products-A bit pricey but worth it (sometimes)Cons:-They don’t provide with free boxes to take sweet bread, so it ends up in pieces and mixed up. Not appetizing-tortillas are sold in bags without any kind of support, so they end up in a big lump. Not appetizing-Food to go needs to be better packed-Salsas go bad within a few days-Limited parking

Very small Mexican grocery store. Perfect for grabbing dinner or just necessities. Lots of drinks and beer. Hot ready to go dinner items and fresh tortillas make right on site.Fast and friendly service. Parking is very limited and can be tricky when busy.

This is my favorite Mexican grocery market in San Diego. The customer service can be improved. Also, the pan dulce could be handled with more care at the cash register when they are counting it so it doesnt get smashed.

Always happy i am shopping at apple tree, my favorite things to buy is fresh tortillas, fresh baked Mexican bread and all the employees are friendly. I highly recommend this place. 😊❤️

One of the best chicharron verde Ive had in a while. Not just chicharron, they throw in a bit if carnitas and chicharron with some meat on it and green salsa just right not too acidic or hot, you can add heat at your discretion. Burritos tortillas are soft not chewy or rubbery, get ready to make a mess.

I enjoyed walking in and smelling fresh cook menudo. Their flour tortillas are thin and flexible and stay soft for one week, taste so good just as is.🤗💕

This was my first shopping experience at Apple Tree Market. Great place to shop, carries a great selection of fresh produce. There was a variety of fresh cuts of meats sold here also. Helpful and friendly workers.

Well stocked and clean. Flour tortillas are great....not too thick and not too thin, perfect and soft! I havent had their hot food items, but they always look tasty and fresh. Marinade for chicken and carne asada is light but flavorful. I found that prices here are a bit higher in most items than Carnival or Northgate even but I keep coming back for the tortillas:) They often have 3 avocados for a buck also. And theyre good too! Mask required to shop in store. Ive shopped early evening here and never encountered a line to enter so far.

I went here exclusively for the pan dulce. And in a nut shell it was some of the beat that I have ever eaten in my ENTIRE LIFE.

Their meat is great, flour tortillas and fruits and vegetables, so is their food to go and the restvtheybcan be pricey, but I still go there for quick pickup items.

The Apple Tree market is a really quaint cute market that has a large variety of products as well as daily made fresh made tortillas and rolls. There used to be an Apple Tree market in Ocean Beach.... When i moved to Chula Vista I was very happy to find one here.

Dont let the name fool you.... This is a traditional Mexican restaurant, hand made flour tortillas, very good marinated carne asada and marinated chicken for barbecuing. They have hot home made style food in their kitchen. Parking can be a challenge and its a bit small so it can get crowded at times.

Great selection of Mexican style groceries, meats, freshly made tortillas, breads, etc. Limited parking, easy access from the street. Good service from staff, they are friendly and helpful. Will return for marinated ready to grill meats. Good prices

My wife recently bought some menudo for me there. I got a stomach infection from it, and spoke to someone in charge the next day. She was rude and very defensive, so I will see a Doctor to prove that it was the menudo. Honestly, last time I eat here and will hold them accountable. As for the manager I spoke to, very unprofessional and I hope the owner reads and responds.

The prices on the store is a bit more expensive and I do like it but I dont like the workers there. They are very nosy and start telling you stuff if they see something they dont like.. thats mainly why I give it 2 stars.

Great place for produce, pan dulce, and fresh meat. Really good prices as well, and the food there is delicious. Only thing is, the packaged meat is dicey. Some of it isnt very fresh and has an off smell. Better to spend a little more and get it from the back.
