Always a wonderful experience shopping here. I love the variety of different foods and sea food here. The fish is fresh, you can pick out your fish and have it cleaned for you as well. Wonderful fruits and vegetables. The workers are helpful and answer any questions you may have. They have a amazing food court as well that is full of amazing food.
Good place to shop fresh seafoodsbreads, desserts and all kinds of Filipino food, foodcourt is spacious. They had online shopping too.Do delivery and curbside pickup
I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience here. The store is very clean and well organized. The produce looks all grade A quality. The fresh seafood was constantly being iced and rearranged to maintain freshness and visual appeal. The store has a good system in place for checking out customers efficient and moves very quickly even though the line looks long at first.
Never been here, but apparently Google maps thought I was close enough to it, at some point, to ask me to review it. And Im feeling generous today, so heres your 5 stars, Seafood City Superstore.
Everything i need i found it in seafood city of course Im pilipina.all the registered employee are very helpful & nice. Especially the food are good, I dont know how you call it. A restaurant & all around in that area also the kakanin at pandisal etc... all in all, Im very please how all the employee so nice to the customer thank you keep the good work.
Its a good place to buy Asian inspired foods. In addition to the great selections, there are also familiar fast foods inside Seafood City, in the food court. There are quite a few to choose from, there is Jollibee, the famous Filipino fast food place, and Red Ribbon bakery, just to make a few.If you enjoy this review, click the like button.
OMG they were so helpful they were out of three items and Im a delivery guy and I cant even hardly understand the language so they called the customer and talk to them and got it all sorted out best people ever services awesome
I usually go there to buy rice to make sushi, they have good selection. Today I was there, I wanted to buy pho mix but they didnt have it. Hopefully next time I will go theyll have it.
Great store to shop at for great prices and seafood.
Re writing my review, because Seafood City opted to replace the order i placed which was not received initially. So kudos to the lady who assisted me on this and also to Seafood City management. Now that’s customer service!!! 👏👏👏 Maraming maraming salamat po!
For the 4th time within the last 6 months this place sold me bad/expired chicken meat. The quality of their vegetables are hit or miss too. Everytime I try to contact them via telephone you don’t get any answer. It’s really disappointing and frustrating because its a waste of time and money.
Fun place to buy my fresh food and they will clean and cook the fish for you.
Mask policy states everyone needs to wear masks regardless but saw 2 employees not wearing it. Enforce it all the way not just customers.
If I needed seafood then this is the place I could count on. Secondly, its less than mile from where I live. I would like to say that customer service is very good, but lastly prices have skyrocketed on all products.
Mask mandate even if vaccinated. Looks like theyre anti-science, pro nanny-state.
Valerios bakery and some Asian eateries are located inside the grocery store. Found everything I needed here. The only knock against this place is that the check out line gets long, so be prepared to stand in line for a while. Other than that, ample parking and close to the 805 freeway exit/on-ramp make it convenient to shop at.
This place is great! The fish is super fresh. And the prices on everything from meat to produce is affordable.
I l ove to buy pan de sal in Valerios also turron and sweet banana.
Liked the bakeries and Jollebee restaurant there
One of the best supermarket. clean and fresh food and friendly people
Floors were super slippery so be careful. Overall, still a great market to find your Asian grocery needs.
Good products. Extensive fish supply. I probably wouldnt rely to much on their red meat. I bought some pork with skin and it had a slightly past due smell. It tasted how it smelled.
I am from out of town and searched for their location in Chula Vista, CA. It gave 2 locations, on third ave and orange st. I went to the 3rd ave since it was closer to my location but its not there. So, I went to the next location in Orange St. And found out that it is their new location. Used to be in 3rd ave. They should cancel the old location.
Great super market, great marinated meats 😋
Good selection depending if Seafood City is having a sale or not.
In Seafood City, everyone are wearing masks and being safe. Good place to do groceries!
My favorite grocery store. More Asian businesses inside including a JollyBees.
Although I love shopping at this place, I notice the sharp increase in prices of commodities. Compared to other markets, SEAFOOD is getting more unaffordable,so expensive.
They got all kinds of good stuff! everybody that works here is way super nice and helpful!
If you love Filipino food, then this is the spot for you. Everything from grill chicken, Jollibee, freshly made Pandesal bread, Filipino restaurant Jochi Resto Grill, and so much more. I feel like there is something for everyone at Seafood City if you like it want to try Filipino food. Jollibee has great chicken 😊.
I love to shop there for Asian foods not available in other stores. Meat and seafood are fresh and clean. They do not have a funny smell because they are always fresh. The store is constantly cleaned.
Good, its clean and complete from meat to fish and vegetables..not too crowded and a parking lot and you can literally park.
Love this place
Fresh seafood, meats and vegetables are excellent
B.B.Pork skewers were delish. Lumpias alot to be desired. Market itself is great.
Great convenient store specially for asian filipino needs
Great selection. Great fast food inside store.
The eggplants and bittermelons are too small, not much selections as compared to the Ontario Seafood City store that I go to. But the staff are very friendly and accommodating. So I added one more star for that.
I shop here sometimes. Good desserts and snacks too. Jollibee and other places to eat and drink in here too.
I love this place especially since Im Asian. But since this pandemic situation they have issues restocking some items so its a hassle going seafood to seafood city getting my favorite items. But all n all seafood city is a good place to go for your Asian ingredients n snacks.
The only place to shop for your specific Asian/Filipino foods, ingredients and specialty items you cant find in your local grocery store . The family who owns these stores are very kind and generous.
Awesome place. They have everything
I love their filipino deserts and jollibee..Valerios of their ube pandesal and siopao..the filipino dessert their turons..must try
Awesome selection for Asian inspired dishes!
Jollibee fried chicken is on point.
Have lots of sea food, prepare & cleans your fish, restaurant Philippians specials.fruit too service awesome. I buy my bait there too. 😇😇😇🌊⚓⚓😎
If you are looking for fish, produce and Asian food, this is the place. There is also a food court located in the store.
Love the variety of fresh seafood as well as grab and go food
Best and fresh Sea Food ever
Im really disappointed with the store. I went all the way to Seafood City just to get the spring roll wraps. I thought that a store like that would have them fresh, but when I got home they had mold growing in the middle. Gross! Never again will i buy anything there again.
Clean store, friendly staff. Im no other sure if the prices are competitive, but I love the food court. The lady on the MC sounded like she was singing the announcement. Now I want to learn Tagalog! Will definitely go to vack!
Fresh seafood, groceries and Philippines food very good
Great grocery market, their seafood section is above and beyond amazing (what you should expect from the name of it). I love going here. Their food court is a Filipino amusement park. There are so many different types of asian food, you cant go wrong. Then you go into the grocery section, OMG. They have almost every type of stock SPAM you can think of. Different types of rice, noodles, seafood, meat, frozen stuff from overseas. This is one of the best places to go. The bakery in the front of the store has fresh Pan De Sal...get some when you can. Also, lucky place to buy lotto. So glad this is so close to us.
Good place to shop filipino foods and other stuff
Yesterday on april 11 2020 i went to this branch of seafood city in orange ave chula vista california at 3 pmthere is a long line by the time i get to the entrance the 2 female in front of me doesnt wear mask i thought its mandatory to wear mask . after im done shopping. They let 2 people not wearing mas again i took a picture of this incident. Business like this dont care other peoples.
This place is so great all employees are friendly also they have variety good delicious food and also some home stuff for cooking thats not available from other store was available here
Asian and Latin menu? No problem. A variety of ingredients and spices.
Find lots of unique stuff plus all sorts of fish.
Whenever I miss Philippine cuisine, this store usually has what I need to make most dishes. I only gave 4 stars because I think it could be more organized.
If you cant get to the Philippines and have an urge for authentic Filipino fast food, deli food cooked on the spot, fresh bakery goods baked on the spot, fresh fish and other seafood, Asian veggies and other supplies, then stop by here.As a half Filipino, half Mexican, I have lived the best of both worlds in terms of food and culture and between this store and the Mercado Carnival on 3rd Avenue, you dont have to travel far to eat well. There is even a small eating area in the middle of the food court so you can eat all your treasures on the spot.
Good is excellent in the food court. Service can improve. No sense of urgency for customers. They take their sweet time just to greet you and take your order.
We go at least once a month for fish and pinoy staples! Tasty quick meals at the grill or jolly bee...lots of baked goods! (Red Ribbon and Valerios, Boba shop..and of course a lotto machine!
I really like this location. Its clean and well stocked. Lots of fresh and hard to find Asian veggies. Love the food court. Just be careful with parking.
Love the selection of items they have.
Its better 99 ranch because here are no chinese products and the cashiers are slow.
Its a great place I give it Five Stars
The food looks delicious and is super great. The aroma is amazing with all the grilled and cooked food. I didnt go through the market, only for food
Best seafood city..parking lot is big...not like National City ...hard to into!!! Great food also!!!!
Lots of delicious FIL-Asian food choices and very friendly staff.
Seafood City is the Filipino grocery store, but are now fast becoming the go to grocery for many Asian and Mexican people. They have many stores in US and Canada, four of which are in San Diego County where they started. They have all the ethic food from Asia. They have Grill City where you can try authentic Filipino food, bake shop, burger joint, boba place and much more.
Long lines but they move fast.
Kinda stressful. Very busy place.
Love this place. Had alot of the fresh fish I use to eat when family members use to bring and cook at family get together soon and parties. Where I live its hard to get fresh fish. Also has a food court with so many smells that took me back to my child hood.
Its dinner time. Make something better. See seafood city. Make food fun. Make fun food. Food court inside supermarket.
So much fun to walk the aisles of this store.
Excellent place to purchase anything Asian, but mostly the Filipino variety. They also have great selection of Filipino pastries and street-food you can find in one of the small shops within the establishment.
They have everything, fully stocked. Huge assortment!
Its ok but definitely the most americanized asian grocery store Ive been to so they might not have everything you might be looking for
Dont buy here please i buy a watermelon and when i open it it was rotten i get sick cause the watermelon and they don let me change it.
Mostly Filipino goods. Good variety of seafood and meat. Not a good place for beef thou. Pork and seafood is fresh. Vegetables are fresh too. Theres a small food court inside with jollibee, red ribbon, valerios, Filipino desserts, tapioca Express, the grill.
Employees are always busy making sure the store is stocked with hard to find import product. Has a fish market and it looks clean and maintained. Check out is really fast. You can also buy your lottery tickets here.
Very good food and deserts. It is a little pricey but you get good quality. The BBQ is fresh and tasty. I bring family here for the variety.
I like the fact that it Carries all the Filipino food and products. Especially if you dont cook like your mom does, I come here to get my ube icecream. Its a one stop Filipino corner!
Nice store but not all the employees are nice
Friendly has a lot of things if you want to make Asian style recepies. A wide vayaraty. Of sea food prices are ok they have a lot of things and services too
Great place for all Asian food products for the makings of a DLish dish!
Need more cashiers to take care customer..moselikely during after work 4 to 7 pm those are the busy time...people off work around that time...so need more cashiers to take care of long line on cashiers
Like having your very own Manila fish store just down the street but cleaner.
Small and doesnt stock much, a verity of fish cake, I was told by the person who stock the shelf( constantly for over a year), its because of wood used as a flat bottom, but drove to 99 ranch chula vista and clairmont, there shelfs are full, many verities. Not sure why I was told that story, it was the same story everytime. POOR GUY....
Love this store. Only thing missing is some translations and explanations for the non Filipino customers. Better, a cooking class would be great.
This place always has the most interesting food and fresh seafood. Food court is awesome as well
