Transport across the Atlantic Ocean the minute you step foot in this place. The house was built in the 1870s and still has all the charm and character of a 150 year old house. The items showcased and for sale are all from France. I loved just walking around and looking at the stuff. The bakery part is amazing. Get a fresh cup of French pressed coffee and a crescent or fresh baguette. I highly recommend the raisin swirl for breakfast.

A delightful shop full of fine French things like table linens, glassware, antique china, fine, fragrant soaps and imported foods. The best French bread in the city can be found in its freezer. In the back of the shop, you can get coffee, tea and freshly baked croissants and pains au chocolat to die for. A treat for all the senses!

They have the best croissants! Our family likes all of the flavors - chocolate almond, almond, raisin - delicious. They also have baguette bread that is very good. Plus, the owners are super nice!

This is a wonderful shop and bakery just west of the big stone Methodist Church building. The owners import all sorts of beautiful antique furniture, cloth and art directly from France. They also sell work from a few local artists.The house and front and backyards have been beautifully renovated and re-landscaped. There are some tables and chairs in the back yard where you can enjoy fresh coffee and the best croissants in Cincinnati. We cant get enough of these croissants! We have been coming here once a week (sometimes more) to indulge in more of them. Whenever family or friends come to visit, French Rendezvous is on the list of must-see/eat places in Cincinnati.If you want croissants for a crowd, call a day ahead to let them know how many youll need. Otherwise you may have to wait for more to bake. Its first come, first served so be there first thing in the morning. Its absolutely worth it.

I was surprised to find such an excellent, authentic French bakery near me that I never knew existed until today. It is actually a retail store for items sourced from France, but they also source croissant dough from France and bake fresh each day. I could not detect a difference in the quality of their baked goods versus any café I’ve been to in Paris. An exceptional find in Cincinnati.

Very cool place, many great items from France for sale. Owners are super friendly and helpful. The best part is the food, the fresh baked bread and croissants are unreal. Just as good as what I had when I was in France a few years ago. Worth checking out for sure.

This is a great store, not just for the Francophile in your life, but for any home decorating or gift needs. Its a pleasure to shop in, the owner is so friendly, with a great mix of home decor, french snacks and some beauty products. Definitely a place Id recommend and will enjoy going back to!

This is a wonderful place to shop at. It is a mans mecca for shopping. No crowds, nice selection of quality products. I found that their soaps make great gifts of appreciation for my friends and relatives. Something about French soap I guess. No matter what I get, I cant go wrong. My friends are starting to think I have taste. My favorite part of shopping at the store is talking with the owners. They are the nicest and most accommodating people I have met. They are not satisfied with being friendly. They have to be your friend. It is like visiting with friends. Shopping there is uplifting and a welcomed break from the overwhelming department stores. And to top it off, they have the BEST French pastries. If you go, it will be hard to leave empty handed.

I came to French Rendezvous today for an escape from the craziness of this past week. I was thoroughly transported. The almond pastry and coffee were a 5 out of 5 and the owners and their son were delightful. Ill be back!

Being French, I came here while in Cincinnati, out of curiosity... I was very surprised to find such delicious croissants and so many authentic French products for sale in Ohio (Lu biscuits, Panier des Sens body care products etc) !

I am very happy with this shop, I am French, and I miss many products from France ... They have a lot of choices for adults and children. Fortunately they are there, because in Cincinnati it is impossible to find products from France like this shop. Vive la France 🙌🏻

This is a very cute little place on Madison Road. Looks like an island of pretty on a dismal road, but other nice places are going to burst out all around I think. :-) I dont know what is the best way to park - you dont want to have to reverse out into traffic. Inside are unique fabrics, antiques, soaps, cookies, and a counter serving authentic croissants and pain-au-chocolat. A visit here will lift your spirits any time
