Definitely the best soft serve ice cream in Cincinnati. Vanilla and chocolate flavors are really good. And they always give you large servings, larger than any soft served ice cream place Ive been to. Always got to get a kiddy cone for my dogs.

It’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had and you definitely get your money’s worth. The only “issue” is that it takes a while to get to the front of the line because there is always tons of people there but that’s not really the Dairy Bar’s fault. It’s just that good! Once you place your order, you get your food quickly. I wish they stayed open later though, especially with how many people like to come past 7.

Do not get the large unless youre ready to eat some ice cream! I didnt realize how big a large twist cone was and ordered one. Im pretty sure it was like a foot tall. Exceptionally rich and creamy soft serve, they arent fluffing their product up with air! It was an absolute delight to eat once I got over the shock of the size but it didnt melt all over or tip or anything. Hubby ordered the root beer float and it was perfectly filled with vanilla soft serve. They definitely dont skimp at all! We will be back for sure

Great classic ice cream shop. Nice seating outside with picnic benches and parking was easy. Portions were definitely very generous. I got my kids a small cup and it was definitely too much ice cream I should have gone with the kid size. I was very impressed with the amount of candy in the flurry, this is something Dairy Queen and many other chain type stores always seem to scrimp on but the Dairy Bar did it up right! I will definitely be back

Yummy shakes and cones. We live the flavor burst cones. Prices very reasonable. Anything beyond a small is just too much to eat. Like the variety of flavors in shakes/ malts. Staff is friendly and helpful when you are undecided. Thanks for the reasonably priced tasty treats!

I went to get some ice cream with my friends I got a waffle boat with my friends with a blue raspberry swirl. At first I thought it was nice that they gave me a decent amount of ice cream but within minutes a good amount of ice cream had melted because it was hot outside which was fine because it was hot. But they filled my waffle bowl with so much ice cream that it started overflowing and got all over my arms hands and clothes. Ice cream was good but couldn’t enjoy because I had to throw away.

Love this place. Always friendly and ice cream is delicious. The line is typically long but moves fast. The only thing I dont like about this place is they dont accept credit cards its a cash-only business. From a small business perspective I totally understand it but its really inconvenience because Im one to not carry cash all the time.

Just went here and got some delicious ice cream, it was a nice day outside today and with the orders of having to be 6 feet away for social distancing they were doing an excellent job of being compliant with this rule!!! The drive-through is really long and I really appreciate them still being open and taking walk up orders while being in compliance with the 6 feet social distancing rule! Always a favorite during the summer! Never disappoints! If youre not hungry and order a small cone, you will be surprised at the size. A small here is just about the size of a large at other places! They have the blue icecream from kings island! They have an amazing carmel shake! They commonly have a line but that is always a good sign and they move it fast!

My first experience with the Dairy Bar was a co-worker coming back with an upside down banana sundae - it looked delicious and like a monstrosity- ice cream, fudge, whip cream, and who knows what else in a cup the size of a forearm. He is totally surprised when I have never heard of the place.I got to have one.I go down about 3 blocks and across the street to find a small stand and say the magic words that have to be for such a bizarre custom order- I’m not entirely sure I know what it is or if they will even let me order it. To my astonishment it’s on the menu and they ask if I want a small or large.The Dairy Bar has been a place of celebrations of good times and solace on rainy days. I go with my wife, our pups, and look forward to bringing our new twins there when they get older - 10 months is probably too early for ice cream. Probably.Expect great flavors, good deals, ice cream the size of a forearm (or torso depending on your size), and to pay cash. Seriously bring the dollar bills.I’ve gone from the upside down banana split, to the Reese’s flurry, to a small chocolate cone in my old age. But no matter what I’ve ordered I’ve always had a better day after it - and it’s still the size of a forearm-> just it’s my kids arm now, not mine.

Wide variety of offerings. Ice cream had a great flavor and they did not skimp on the toppings. Plenty of outside seating. Just wish they would not charge extra for whipped cream.

I always get their large and they really stuff their cup I had cookies and cream this time and you can taste every piece of the cookies

Mt Healthy Dairy Bar is a local favorite. When you go, you always end up seeing someone you know or went to school with. Their icecream is smooth and silky. The portions are huge. I actually suggest ordering a smaller size, especially if you are trying to watch your diet.

Stopped in because I happened to be in the area. I grew up coming to the Dairy Bar and I was super pleased that its just like I remember.Fast and friendly service. They helped my son pick what he was going to get and were very sweet. There wasnt a line but I stopped at 3pm-ish. Im sure at night in the summer there would be a wait but its worth it. Wonderful product. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND.
