Suddenly without warning or declaration on their website where I have access to as a consumer this location decided they would refuse to return online items. She told me that they’re “smaller” so they don’t have the things people usually return online (the items I’m returning they DO sell at their location). After contacting Sephora customer service they informed me that JC PENNEY SEPHORAS CAN ACCEPT RETURNS, but then defended the location by saying unreasonable suggestions that made absolutely no sense. The employee also said something about their return policy changing August 2021 but again, I was unable to verify any information because NO WHERE on Sephoras website does it say they CANT accept returns, in fact it says THEY CAN. I live down the street from this one and now have to go drive out of town to make returns. Petty and worthless, I won’t be shopping here anymore!
Not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews about customer service here. Katrina and the two other associates were great from when I first walked in to when I was leaving. I came in for an exchange and Katrina promptly assisted me in checking and double checking to make sure I had exactly what I needed. Ill definitely come back here instead of going farther to Roseville. Thanks ladies!

Don’t usually go to Sephora in JCPenny’s because I forget it’s there. Now I won’t be going because the service is atrocious! I picked up a few things and went to the only register. The woman at the register was working on something, inputting data into the computer. I said hello and waited. She didn’t acknowledge my presence in anyway! I waited a few more minutes but was completely ignored. So rude! I’ll never go back.
I usually go to this sephora when i don’t feel like driving to Roseville or Arden. It is smaller but still have a good amount of products and brands. I went in about a week ago and was looking to get a foundation sample and to swatch the new Fenty foil palette. Emily helped me get the right shade of foundation and was really helpful on knowing all the products. Thanks to her i found my holy grail foundation!
Store associate on Jan 23 2017 around 630pm was TERRIBLE. Outright unfriendly and never cracked a smile. I returned an online item with the packing receipt/slip and she told me I needed the order confirmation email as well? Ive never known a store- especially a Sephora- to ask a customer to go out of their way like that. I had to dig for a 23 day old email on my cell phone on the crappy service. And unfortunately for her, she totally missed out on a sale. If she had cared to ask why I was returning the product and was helpful- you know, if she was doing her job- I probably would have exchanged it for something better. Tip: learn some customer service or get out of the industry.
Besides the fact that their shelves are ALWAYS empty, you cant even make a return with your ROUGE card. This location is useless. I thought Sephora had higher standards for their stores.
