Great Prices here, and a fairly good selection. A lot of older books, but a lot of good reference stuff here.I came looking for a Python Programming Language book, and walked away with a book on the Languages Library.Since there is a lot of used books here, I would think that it would be hit and miss for some items. This store is about Mid to Large in size and has a good inventory.

Walked in expecting to buy a couple of books as I usually do in a bookstore. I still like the feel of a real book in my hand, no offense Kindle! Within 5 minutes I knew I had to go get a basket, too many books. With prices at least half off the cover why not buy a bunch! I want to work here, great people, worked as a librarians assistant for four years and this is right up my alley. Stop in if you are a reader of books, you will not be disappointed

I really enjoy HPB. Theres a large selection of things for sale, so theres likely something for everyone.

I love this place. While I enjoy browsing the books, honestly the product that draws me in 90% of the time are the journals and cards. They are such amazing prices for great journals, calendars, to-do lists, and drawing books. Their boxes cards are super cute and most of the time they are $2.99!! The store also has great toys/chachkis.

Wonderful place. Their books are in order-even alphabetized within the author group. Always easy parking in front of the door.

The experience here is pretty varied. Good prices for books and movies always. Games are generally above market value. Employees are not always helpful or friendly, but I feel like that’s mostly due to either new hires (most of the new hires seem to be gone already. No surprise.) or tired OG employees. All kinds of goodies to be found.

I found it hard to leave, books at half the cost on the cover, some looked unread. Got 7 books and had to leave because I was riding the bike and only had a backpack. Taking the car next time and spending a hundred dollars on $3-5 paperbacks. $9 or less for hardbacks. Worked as a librarians assistant before and the place was as well organized as any library I have worked at. The staff are really helpful and friendly. This is a place where I would work for minimum wage, and would spend it on the books there!!!😀

Half price books gets to marks. Theyre variety of books, music, games and other great stuff is amazing! Especially their books on the paranormal. I host a paranormal podcast called What In The...? Podcast and they always have the reference books that I need, and if they dont, they can order them! Great store!

Knowledge is power and books got words, you can string them together for sentences paragraphs chapters novels and series, read enough of them and you can probably collect a little knowledge and I sapos how you choose to use that knowledge will determine what kind of powers you collected right 🤔 right

Awesome store! Amazingly-priced books and really nice staff, especially the man at the front counter! (I didnt catch his name but he was a bit gray and had a beard! Very cheery and friendly, same goes for the guys in the back of the store!) I got 6 Tom Clancy hardcover books in really good condition for $12, $7 after I sold a couple books in the back; made my day! :) Great place to trade in old books and come out with new ones, honestly.

If you are looking to purchase this place is great! :)If youre looking to sell its hit or miss. Sometimes you get offered $2 for 8 books and sometimes you get offered $20 for one book.

Lots of books, great lighting, easy to find placards, helpful employees. Honestly recommend, I could spend quite a lot of time there.

Bad experience with selling books there! The cashier took my books, asked for my ID, then she handed me my ID back. Then she asked me for my first and last name... I had to spell it out for her. She asked for my phone number. Then she said, “okay we’ll call you when it’s ready”. I left the store waiting for the call. Several hours later I called to see if my books were ready and a man answered. He told me I wasn’t supposed to leave the store and they tried calling me, but the phone number was wrong. I told him I was never told to stay in the store and I had been waiting for them to call me! I quickly got in my car and went to the store to pick up my bag and get the few bucks and the cashier lady saw me and said, “your books were ready in 5 minutes”. Leaving this comment and won’t be back.

I have been coming to this store for a while now and I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with staff and store itself. The layout on the inside is easy to understand and navigate. There is a large selection of genres avaliable many I dont read but there are many. This place has been nothing but awesome!

Im so happy I found this place! Ive been here twice in the last 2 weeks and I will continue to visit. They have so many books and movies. I was there for the kid section which was great. Prices are decent, I was able to get 6 books and 2 movies for under $40!

So glad for this bookstore. It is getting us through this pandemic with our sanity. My kids are heavy readers and go through a couple books a days. Because of the low prices, weve been able to buy them books in whatever interests them. The staff has been very helpful with locating what were looking for or advising us about other places to look if they dont have it

Totally cool joint. I still drive both my SUVs that have CD players in them so I just LOVE to find various CDs and The variety is great from people whove turned in stuff all across the board. Im die hard 70s music so I find great treasures here!

Staff is nice. A lot of the books are, in my opinion, overpriced but you can find good deals at times. And its always fun to look. You can also sell your books, but dont expect to make much (and some books they might not take at all).

According to Speaker Pelosi, requiring ID to vote is discrimination, yet this store requires ID to get a $3 credit for a used book. Isnt that discrimination against minorities without ID? I didnt see any minority employees either.

This is my favorite book store though they do this thing where they jack up the price of certain books they expect to be popular. It already cost them one sale from me when they told me the books cost was based on the average ebay cost... So I went on ebay and got it cheaper.

Despite not having the books I need the store is in a nice location and organized. The staff was extremely helpful and patient while working with me and the cashier was very friendly and nice. Though I had a long list of books and they happend to have none of them she was cheerful and remained attentive throughout the interaction.

Books are fantastically priced if you dont mind a little wear on them. They had a 20% off everything sale for labor day weekend. I bought 3 hard cover Dark Tower Series books (complete with artistic renditions throughout the book) and 2 other paperbacks for 29 dollars. Talk about a steal considering one of those dark tower books would be 30 dollars. Friendly and helpful staff. Very satisfied.

The employees were great and they explained their new policy due to COVID. I asked for a specific style of book and they took me straight to the aisle. My only complaint was over a customer and the workers dont have any control over ignorant people.They had the exact book I wanted and for a super great price!

Love this place!! They need a better name because they are more than just books. They have been my go to since Dimple closed. Great place for gifts. Great prices on used stuff. Their new stuff is a little over priced. But not bad at all. One of the last cool places to browse and shop.

You can sell your old and used books, music and games here. The return is not high but better than nothing. Great prices for popular books, music and games.

After speaking to the manager on duty over the phone, she laughed it off an provided me with a corporate number in Texas to resolve my concern.

Amazing place to browse all sorts of books from various genres. I love the selection they have and everything is neat and organized so you dont have to spend hours looking for the books you need. The staff are friendly and always helpful and are able to find the books that you need if you cant locate them. The prices are great especially on hardcover books. I would highly recommend this place to any bookworm.

This was the coolest used book store I have been in since I was a kid. Went in looking fir local history and was amazed at their inventory. That have it all!

Its a book store. Not too bad of prices for the used books I grabbed (about a dollar or two cheaper than new for books 20+ years old), but the trade in is abysmal. Selection wasnt as diverse as I wouldve liked. Philosophy? 20 copies of Platos Republic. Psychology? Freud, self help, and very little else. Except some psychology was (thankfully) in the general science section, so that helped. I prefer smaller used book stores, just havent found one in the area yet.

One of the last actually good brick and mortar book stores. Half price can still be quite high but it goes both ways for sellers. If you see something you want, get it then inventory goes quick

Best book store ever! I LOVE the clearance section and all the coupons they have. Much better than your typical Barnes and Noble. Its nice and quiet, and all the employees are very welcoming. They will also buy used books, which is great for when Im done reading the books I bought from their clearance section. Its like renting a book for $1-$3. They also carry movies, music, games, gifts, etc. and you can even find some really cool collectibles!

I usually like visiting this store. Lately theyve had more on tarot and related topics which I appreciate. However, as a tarot reader searching for new/used cards, its kind of difficult to chill and feel out the decks while your employee hovers 4 ft away not doing anything of substance except treating me as if Ill rip off your product. Its cool the decks are locked, but perhaps practice a little more discretion in your security or get better at reading your customer.

A must stop shop whenever I am out. Never know what I am going to find. Awesome Pop Figures? Yes. Nostalgic video games from my childhood? Definitely.

Was a colossal waste of time. Only wanted the hardbound books. Took three bags down and brought 2 bags back. Mot worth time or gas. Especially since I drove over 50 miles to get thete.

I originally went to sell some books I no longer needed. While they went through the boxes of books, I perused the store. They had an incredible amount of books and games, all in good condition, and priced to fit nearly anyones budget.I only had to wait a little under 30 minutes for the 10 boxes of books to be sorted and a fair price to be given. All the employees I was in contact with were helpful and courteous.I highly recommend this store as a first-stop bookstore!

My best friend and I love visiting this place. I enjoy looking about, and checking out all the sections. Theres a pretty good selection, and something for everyone. The prices are pretty good, and there always seems to be a sale when Im in there. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I always find fun comic books and collectibles here. You might have to dig around a bit but definitely worth it.
