This was my first time at Kay jewelers and me and my fiance went and I got her an anklet that she loved as well! Natalia the staff was a very professional and a very kind lady who helped us find what we were looking for. I would give her a rating of 20+ if I could! People like her are hard to find. Anyway, we bought what we wanted and all 3 of us were very happy! I would come back to this store because the staff( who helped us out) was very friendly! Highly recommend!

BEWARE opened a credit card account without my knowledge !!!!! Here is my story.... I went in just to browse and possibly get a ring for my wife. This was the 1st store we had went to.The ring she had, the gemstone fell out. So we were just looking for something inexpensive as a replacement. The manager was the one helping us. My wife doesn’t like flashy diamonds, she wanted something simple and inexpensive. The manager was very pushy trying to get my wife to look at different rings but she didn’t like any of them. It felt like she wasn’t even listening to us and just wanted to make a sale.We ended up finding something she liked. The manager ran my credit and said we would be able to get something up to 6k. Well, we still weren’t sure, this being the 1st place we browsed around. So we told the manager we may or may not come back. Later on we actually found something that she liked, wasn’t at Kay jewelers. About a month later has passed by after visiting Kay jewelers and guess what I received in the mail😡😡😡. A credit card opened in my name WTH is this S**T. I went ahead and canceled it already. I just hope it doesn’t affect my credit score which I’ve been slowly building. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I have ever happened to me.I’m not even sure this is even legal.

Kay jewelers has a lot of good jewelry but the hindu lady that works at sunrise mall is very pushy and pressures you to buy jewelry and if you dont she will get upset and whispers at the other employees working there behind your back today i herd her aske the other employee if i bought anything and made a ugly face, she is fake, im afraid to go in there to look around, also when i returned a ring, all hell broke loose in her .

So as far as is their staff in store products in store and services in store they are all great they have a wide selection of items to choose from a good inventory a good customer service and a good one pushy approach for sales. I would personally recommend Nemo hes a great person that works at this location.However I did apply for credit in store and was approved after making multiple payments on time and then calling their billing and finance department and explaining that I had a little bit of a hardship and that one payment will be late they took my account and closed it without letting me know by mail in writing or even calling me now that is reflected negatively on my credit report. So please use caution when doing their in-house financing and know that if you make one payment that is going to be a bit late theres really nothing to stop them from closing out your account and reporting to the credit bureau something negative.

The husband came to this place for my ring and earrings a little over a year ago. Well my earrings broke about a week ago and went in today to see what they could do for us and my husband only got insurance on my ring, so I asked what my options were, and she snapped back after telling us we have to pay to get them fixed...THAT IS YOUR OPTION to pay to get it fixed! Very rude right off the bat! I take care of my jewelry so I figured they would have some common sense and help with more options. I mean they were just over a year old and it shouldve lasted a lot longer than that in my opinion and if it were my store or company, I wouldve definitely helped and offered a little more than that!!!

BEWARE of this location!Dont get me wrong, I love Kay Jewelers!! Ive purchased several jewelry from them in the past. But thanks to the store manager Riti I had a terrible experience at the Sunrise Mall location at Citrus Heights.I went there with my husband to purchase a pair of Solitaire Studs in Yellow Gold. The size that we picked was only available in White Gold in that store. We were about to head out to visit the Folsom location, to try our luck to find one in yellow gold. The moment we said that, the Store Manager Riti said that she will be able to order one in yellow gold. She pretended to look it up and said that Kay doesnt make that particular size in Yellow Gold, thus she cant order it for us. Since we loved the studs anyway, we got them. The back screw in one of the studs was not smooth, so we went to the Folsom Location the next day, to check if they would help us replace it or fix it.GUESS WHAT!! The same stud in Yellow Gold and White Gold!! The sales person there asked me for the receipt and within minutes she helped us replace the earrings. And I got the one in Yellow Gold, exactly what I wanted.What a Liar!! I cant imagine someone would lie to our face about such an expensive thing, just to ensure that we buy the earring from her store.BEWARE of this location!

I have been having my ring cleaned and inspected here for several years. They used to be great when Nemo was working there but now they’re terrible. Was in the other day and my ring was inspected in what seemed like seconds. And then cleaned very gently in about a minute. It looked just as dull and unclean as when I gave it to the associate. I then asked if they could reshape it and was told no not in store we have to send it out. But then watched another associate reshape a ring for another customer. Nemo would always reshape it for me made a point to ask if I had any other jewelry I wanted cleaned or rings reshaped.

If it werent for Ginger, this place would be a bust!!! Manager is one of the most impersonal people I have met. Customer Service as a whole suck!!! Ginger is the only employee there that takes the time to address customers needs and make sure things are clear and to their satisfaction...

The Manager here will mess up your proposal/wedding plans! Rifi Khalid tried to give me a ring that after engraving and sizing was left square not round with dots all over the engravement! She told us to come back to exchange only to tell us come back yet another day because the system wont let me do it. We do and she messes up yet again and does not follow our form for engraving and band comes back how she wrote it in her handwriting not how we wanted it. I have pictures look on yelp! 17 days pass until we call and told to wait another week until we tell her we need it for photos. She rush orders we come in 2 days later only to be enraged it was written in caps lock in her writing again not how i checked off the boxes. She wrote it for spelling purposes but it was not just written according to spelling but her font. An employee at pickup told us oh at the bottom its written how it will go on the ring. So Kays, Im an artist, youre telling me you train your employees to write in all the font options you have? You have got to be joking!!!! No you cant!!!! NO!!!! that is all lies you try to cover up your errors. So we return it and the band because of how many mistakes only to find out you returned only partial money. Customer service and Kays credit department both tried reaching out to RIFI and she wont answer to fix the problem not to them or us!! DONT BUY HERE EVER. If you have a problem report it to BBB dont let this keep happening. Shes ripping people off, just read the other yelp reviews. I wish I was making this up! How would you feel if you proposed to your fiance and had to deal with this? DONT BUY HERE!!!

Dont not purchase from Kay!! Biggest mistake was choosing to purchase my wedding set, additional band and diamond earrings from this store. The customer service is beyond awful. I have had to send my wedding set sent out the times in the past 6 months for repairs and no it was not by any standards cheap. The last time it was sent it I recieve a phone call that it wasnt repaired correctly and they have to resend it for a THIRD time. The store calls my husband yesterday and said my ring was ready for pick up. He shows up today no ring. What?! The excuse UPS hasnt arrived yet. Umm. You called me and said it was ready. Secondly, Faud (sp?) Says this is not their problem it is nothing they did over and over again. FAUD whose fault is it?! I know it is not mine. No one intends to buy a wedding set try have fixed 3 times in less than two years. Faud inspected my ring when I brought it into the store a 4 weeks ago when I told him I was concerned my stones were loose. Inspected and said everything looked fine. I left thinking OK maybe Im wrong but no I was pretty sure I could hear my center stone moving. I brought it back to have it reinspected the next weekend and sure enough MULTIPLE some were loose. Faud thank you for telling me it is not your guys fault and you call customer service because you had to go And had actual work to do.Worse is I am not about to enjoy the wedding set my husband purchased for me. Every six months when I have to have it inspected Ill have to be reminded of the awful service your store provides. And trust Everytime I am in my local mall and pass by your store I will share my experience with your potential customers.Thank you for tainting the beautiful memories that sound surround my wedding set.
