Went there on a whim after Sam’s Club. soon as i hit the door the aromas were fantastic. To me they had everything you could possibly ask for. I am now able to focus on the other half of me which is Russian and discover it with all these foods. I did buy a chunk of chocolate cake and it was the best damn cake I’ve ever had in my life. The pumpernickel Rye was to die for. Fresh and warm.

It feels like a small neighborhood store with friendly staff, while providing a surprisingly vast array of products from around the world. I was impressed with their selection of sausages, spices, grains, oils and balsamic vinegars. They also have a butcher style meat department and a bakery. I never knew there were so many types of olives, and dont get me started on the chocolates! I cant believe this treasure has been in my own back yard all this time!

A lot of Europran markets and delis around here seem to actually have fairly specific nationalities they serve, or a small handful of them. This place actually has a wide array of food from many different Eastern European cuisines and even some foods from beyond. My favorite sections were the meat and dairy sections but we also snagged a number of wonderful sweets and snacks including some gorgeous and incredibly delicious cake. They had an incredible selection of drinks and preserved foods. And unlike most other specialty markets around here, this one was nice and spacious. Their produce seemed to be the only thing that was a little lacking. Im really looking forward to enjoying the veal pellmini we bought. I will definitely be back here again!

The worst Russian store I ever been to. I would love to rate it at zero because 1 star is too much.We’ve specifically drove to this store from the Bay Area. Spent over $400 only to find out at home:1. Instead of Russian delicatessen Tongue salad as I asked I found cold cut salmon in the box for $33 !!!2. Some food items are expired or very close to the expiration date!3. Prices are higher than in Palo Alto Russian store- Samovar or Kalinka in San JoseMy advice: don’t go there or if you do make sure to check every single product from the cafe and expiration dates and keep in mind that you are overpaying.

One stop shop for everything, meat, dairy, vegis, bakery... Plus lots of great import products from eastern Europe. Love the candy selection especially!

The worst! Came in yesterday to buy some food for the road,Lithuanian bread with mold and I mean full on green mold on it,sausages tasted and smelled way past their expiration date,cold smoked fish old,got some “fresh made”salad from the hot food section,doesn’t even taste fresh,either old mayonnaise or some other ingredients that aren’t fresh,what a waste of money,no wonder there were hardly any people in there!!

This market is a great place for fresh deli European taste. Mostly Russian/Armanian and then some. Your eyes will wonder largely as you find some great items. I always try a different dish when I get my usual.

AMAZING deli with hot food and soup and meat market they have an delicious bakery to, that’s one thing Europeans got on lock there sweets are out of this world!!!!!!! && to me this store is almost a gourmet super market and not too expensive at all, I almost don’t wanna tell anyone about it because it’s truely a hidden gem. I’m a foodie and am always looking to try new stuff so every once in awhile I’ll try something I’ve never heard of from there. Most recently I tried there in-house made poppyseed bread and the pickled soup !! And I’ve been told I need to try the Russian style raviolis, forgot the name sorry.But yeah from now on I’ll be coming here for birthday cakes and celebrations etc because not only so there sweets taste amazing but the way they are decorated is so fancy and beautiful like every detail !

Has pretty much anything you can think of from Eastern Block and Mideteranian regions. You gain pounds by just beeing there. The confections counter tests your resolve.Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Very expensive store. Almost all store overpriced. When we walked in, nobody even greet us despite that store was empty and employee just standing there. I would say this store more like museum. Maybe there’s good European items, but again, coast like a piece of gold! Not recommend this store at all.

Its okay store. Theyve been slowly raising their prices where I am able to find better prices elsewhere. Good place for bigger veriety and I love their cooked food and dessert section

For everyone who has a bad experience at this store. Im sorry. But I disagree. Every time I go there I always deal with pleasant and friendly workers. They always have all products I need and fresh. I been going there for half a year now almost and if I lived close enough I would be there everyday but unfortunately I live 40 miles away. I go there on the weekends. But soon Ill be moving out of state to east coast. It just makes me so sad I wont be able to shop there anymore. I really love borsh soup there that they sell hot. If one of the employees sees this comment. Is there way I can get a recipe how you guys make that soup??? Please.Thank you.

Impressively large and expansive Eastern European store with a wide variety of products and a hot food section with tables where you can sit down and enjoy your food. Largest store of its kind that Ive ever been in! I wish I lived closer but it was worth the trip!

Dont even waste your time to go there, prices are outrageous! Almost double to compare to other Slavic grocery stores in Sacramento area. Cashiers are very rood, all they are care is your mask, if youre not wearing one, they will not serve you. This place is reported to attorney general office for investigation.

I love this European store. My mom recently told me about this place and I didnt even know it existed. ( Im sure glad she told me) I been going to different tiny European/Russian stores forever because each one of them didnt have everything I needed. And this store is huge compared to other ones. It has everything I need and I no longer have to go to 5 different ones. Food is just amazing and stuff that they make at the store also tastes amazing. People that work there also are so friendly. I never ran into someone mean or grumpy. All girls are Very friendly and helpful.I would give this place +1000 stars if I could. 👍Thank you for all you do !!

Not the best quality product not much to buy

Kefir $4,50 are you out of you mind? Only one product from my native Serbia (big Armenian Friend, volunteers from SER helping your Country in war vs. azeris), but from CRO, about 10 different neapolitans alone, never mind other products, never mind that they hate all of us Orthodoxs! Two star are way over my head, but if you improve, I can change to 5, very easy!OK, I changed my mind, after I visited today, you dont deserve my business and no stars whatsoever!

At first I was only going to give it 4 stars, but then realized the small inconvenience of entrance on 1 side, exit on the other is really a smart way to run the business. Love the security presence, inside and out. Lots of customers and huge variety of food without being crowded. A very good flow and feel to the shopping experience. I had been told by many to check it out. Im glad I finally got a chance to do so. I will return, with my wife this next time.

Lots of Russian cuisine. They sale expired drinks at a discount.The hot foods look good from a distance but the smell of the cooked salmon that has sat there for a few hours lingers throughout the store.Stopped in to see what they have to offer assuming it to be asian store. Boy was i wrong.

Thanks you for all attempts to keep this a safe place for shopping during Covid. Consider dividing the large packages of Weselna and kabanos into vacuum-packed smaller ones - 2-3 Weselna per pkg will do. Also consider converting 1/2 of your meet department into Deli w/ sliced sausages, ham, salame, cheese, mother goose pate (please have it available) and other. It will be a nice continuation of your warm food and salad stand. If you do that I will not be going anywhere else for my needs!

Great international market, friendly staff, even they have halal and kosher food items. Halal pelmeni are delicious.

Recommend to all who loves original, tasty, natural, organic food from different parts of Globe.I prefer to visit such store for russian or better to say Slavic cousin.If you entered into the store keep going straight along the meat department up to the hot/cold kitchen fresh meals.Mm.. Chicken fried feele, Beef steaks,1 dish traditional Ukrainian soup BORSZH. Or other ones is different every day2. the second dish i would recommend you take KOTLETA PO KIEVSKI. or any other meat meal. Chicken, pork, lamb, beef or even fish.

It was a great store and great Russian produce and it got bought out recently and the items are changing and its not really a full on Russian produce store. A bit sad but its life. They have great cakes and always fresh. You can sample the cakes before buying. And they got a big selection of everything you want in there. They used to have Russian music playing but now its American. Still a nice store but it lost the original point of the store.

Great Russian fare. Love their teas. They are now serving food, deli type. I always get the salmon. Its very good.

Bought variety of food at New Year’s Eve from the hot food dept. The food we bought was the only food we were serving that evening. Our family and guests were in pain right about the time we were done eating, through the night and the next day. We buy catered hot Russian food every other week from Elenas Kitchen. This is the first time we experience something like this. Our toddle who is little over a year old had food as well, which is scary. It’s was embarrassing in front of the guests, not to mention this was the holiday night that was partially ruined.

Please change your listing on Google Maps. This place is listed as an Asian Market which it definitely is not. Lots of good food items, but not Asian.

Love this place!!! Because in this Big Russian stile Pacific Coast Food Store you can buy many kinds of food!!! You can order over there almost all kind of Russian, Armenian, Ukrainian and America food and different sweets and biscuits and Russian drinks! There is a special place for different kind of cakes!!! I like this place so much!!!

The butcher counter looked excellent! Clean and a nice selection of Deli items as well! Not too mention the cooked deli / restaurant! Had some Red Borscht Soup to go, yum!

Huge variety, lots of foods you cannot find anywhere else, great deli section ( my favorite). Most food is fresh and delicious, but a few items on the shelves look not so fresh or just not very presentable. Highly recommend feta cheese from the deli section, it goes fast but if you ever happen to get some it is absolutely splendid

Way overpriced compared to other similar stores. Hot food is frozen and reheated for next day use, I got some cooked meat and it was full of water inside from being frozen

They used to have a discount card given to customers when it first opened. Found out today they no longer honor that. Prices definitely went up over the last few years. We shop here once a year when in the area; and thats plenty. Their korean spicy carrots are pretty good. They do have a great selection of Russian food.

Used love the Russian grocery store in Van Nays,Cali better price and selection. Used to be lead repair tech on the former ambassador to Russias house boat at Glen Canyon National Rec Area John Hutsman Jr. The Russian art galleries in Santa Fe NM used love to talk to me about my experiences with that time the current ambassador to Russia. My great grandma went to Russia in 1976.This place place may have the linage of Joesep Stalin and they also supresss the Russian language there and service is really bad there? Nay never go there again?

I use this store every week. Just for good bread and cheap beer. But today I sow good price for some fish. Like 3.39 for pak. But casher ask me in 2 times more!!! So I didnt have fish and any apologies. They just took my food back . Very rude workers.

We did travel 2h in past to get to your place and we are not going to do it any more. You increased the price plus you sell expired produce, so better to go to local smaller shops.

They have the best and most delicious bread (farmers bread). Baked in the store, always hot and fresh. I think this is the biggest store for European food.Theres like 6 fridges of just pelmeni😂😂😂Edit: I wasnt criticizing, I meant that if theres pelmeni 6 fridges, that speaks of the size of the store (how big it is).Thanks for the reply.

The hot food department has very bad service, lady working there is rude and not careful in assisting customers. Also food quality is doubtful. The sweets dept is good mostly. The supplements used to have more now very limited in selection.

I buy food for work here almost weekly. It has lots of good stuff, however sells expired things, at a discount. I bought some of those, but I wish they pointed that out. Also been noticing big fat flies lately :( I hope to never see them again!!

1/27/16 Bought a package of sausages, (Andys deli brand), cooked, served... Kids started vomiting 2 hours later. I checked the label (store scan code and price) and noticed there was expiration date of 3/18/16, as I looked closer, I saw that there were 2 more labels under this one! I carefully peeled back the labels all the way to the packaging and..... expired on December 2, 2015!!!! Just an FYI for anyone who buys food there- be careful!
