The level of customer service was fantastic. I was able to get an appointment within a day after my glasses broke, even as a new patient. When I arrived, I had virtually no wait time and promptly saw the doctor. Once I was finished, Melissa walked me through what my insurance provided and even went as far to write out my envelope (with a stamp), so I could send in for my rebate on my new contacts. Working in retail on a corporate level, I was blown away by the service I was given here. If the company sees this, Melissa deserves some type of recognition, if not a raise. Thank you !!!
Listen if you have the option to go elsewhere than do it. The doctor herself was honestly amazing hence the 1 star, but the staff single handedly ruin the business. During my one hour in the store, they had “lost” my paperwork, openly complained about speaking with customers, they were rude and this is the funny part. There were 5 employees in the store and only my mother and myself and It took over 20 min for them to even begin the eye exam because they needed to “enter our information” Once we were done with the exam I expected to run out of there never to return, but it took the receptionist almost another 20 min to actually just scan our prescription and make a copy for us. Unprofessional, never returning

My husband and I usually do not write reviews regarding offices, services, etc. However, this medical office was mediocre to say the least. There are a handful of opinions that I can recite. The doctor was slightly competent. However, the front staff was absurdly incapable of handling anything medical let alone clerical. They dress in scrubs to give the feeling that one is surrounded by nurses, medical assistants, nursing assistants, but the staff are simply salespersons in uniform. If you want true, quality care all around, choose another location and perhaps an Optemetrist. Visionworks has an enormous selection of eyewear from vision to UV protection. However, the support and help received when attempting different options for purchase and long term use is limited to nil. Therefore, if you have a simple optical prescription and have decided on a desired frame, go here!! Otherwise, do your research! Search around! If you dont, You may walk out feeling more vulnerable and confused than when you first walked in.
Came to Clark- VisionWorks… not only did they exceed our expectations, but they went above and beyond to help us out! If you need to go to a vision works, make sure to go out of your way to go to Clark- Vision Works, and ask for Melissa! She is not only amazing at multi-tasking, she will make sure you are completely taken care of, and also super funny ❤️ You won’t regret it!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to visionworks in clark, nj. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Melissa went above and beyond to accommodate me as I have severe arthritis and use a cane. She brought me frames to try on and made sure I never had to stand for too long. My glasses arrived in just 4 days and fit beautifully, no adjustments were needed. Melissa even tightened the screws in my old glasses and put new nose guards on so I would have a working spare pair if needed. She is a treasure.
Customer service is great. However, their advertisements for bogo is misleading, which causes an inconvenience towards having an extra pair of glasses. Too much red tape and hassle with using your insurance too. Very annoying yet frustrating purchase experience.
I had a great experience at Visionworks. Daniela was very helpful with my contact lens purchase. I received them within a week and the whole process was quick and easy. They also accepted my vsp vision insurance :)

My experience has been consistently terrible. The lack of service from the moment you walk in till you leave. The young lady that seems to be doing it all with the two toned hair in the front by far does not need to be working with any humans. Not personable, rude, impatient and most of all unprofessional. I overheard one of the contact lenses trainers speaking to an older couple as if they were children because they spoke a different language. They are extremely overwhelmed and you can see the trickle down effect to their customer service. Your appointment is not your actual appointment time it’s the beginning of your waiting time. So don’t make any plans. Will not be coming back for our yearly exams at this location.
Ive been here twice within months,First experience I went to get my daughters eye checked and get glasses. As soon as I walk in a young lady sitting down tells me my younger daughter needs a mask, shes one. As I told her nicely shes one she just rolled her eyes. Second when we where waiting all you hear is the workers talking bad about all the customers and complaining, thats very unprofessional. They dont even tell you what your insurance covers until u sit down with the glasses you have chosen.

Have had a lot of issues with the staff. Neither friendly, nor helpful. Consistently terrible service, which is an absolute shame because the doctors are fine. Not easy to schedule or reschedule an appointment. And if you have two insurances, this is an inconvenience for the staff.
I had such a great experience at the Clark Visionworks! Everyone was very friendly, and the office was clean. The doctor gave a thorough exam and thoroughly answered all of my questions. The assistants were extremely helpful. They helped me to choose the glasses and contacts that got me the most for my insurance buck!
Very impressed. First time ordered my lenses for new glasses I own, visited by my friends recommendation. Ordering them was fast and easy, the girl who took care of me was super sweet. Literally placed an order on 27th of April, was told they will be ready by May 10th and even might take longer due to covid, but today May 1st, I received text message that both of my glasses were ready. Picked it up, no issues, fast in easy. Will be back! Thank you!
This facility is worst facility in the world nasty employees and they don’t care about customer service at all. I have been going to this place for 5 years and today even thou everybody else told me about there service I was like I am ok but they showed me there real colors. Aweful service. Dr. Pinho was a fantastic clinician. She was very pleasant and professional. She explained her findings in detail, and had a warm bedside manner. I will be coming back.
My eye glasses perscription was wrong and made me dizzy. Tried to call store also tried online customer service twice no response.
Worst experience ever, very rude customer service. The front desk employee made me feel like an inconvenience and not a customer. The doctor told me that I needed to have common sense. However I signed up for a class to learn about the contacts. If I had the information beforehand I would not have signed up for the class. Its obvious that I didnt have information about contacts which is why I signed up for the class. When I came in and discussed getting contacts I had the same length of nails. When they took my money for the contacts I had the same length of nails. When I scheduled my class to learn about the contacts I had the same length of nails. Today when I go in to take the class, I successfully put in my contact and took it out with my nails at this length. The employee who is teaching the Class said my nails made her uncomfortable So I was not allowed to complete the class. They also informed me that this was non refundable. When I asked why this information was not provided to me before I scheduled the class or gave them payment. They implied that I was an idiot and that I should just have common sense and should have known. So they dont have to provide me with this information. So now they have my money and I dont have contacts. They said theyre more than happy to let me come back and schedule a new class if I change my nails. Why would I wanna come back after you just Insulted me and told me I didnt have common sense for the nail length I have. Buyer beware theyre not forthcoming with all the information. This is not how I expected to be treated at a place of business. I usually associate visionworks with professionalism, not anymore.
The ladies here are super friendly. They replaced a screw on my frames for me and I was in and out in minutes! Great experience
If I could give zero stars I would. Consistently horrible experience in every way imaginable anytime I have gone there. Look at the reviews on Yelp - you’ll see it barely even cracks 2-3 stars. Would not recommend.
The staff there are amazingly! So nice and helpful. Doctor Jackline Zaky is the most caring eye doctor I have ever seen! She called me three times one night to check on my eye problem I was having. I bragged about her to everyone I know. I recommend her 100%
Went to the Clark office for an eye exam and new glasses. I thought Dr. Pinho was great, very personable and thorough. The reason for 2 stars is because I was told 7-10 days for my glasses to be ready. I called on day 8 or 9 and they asked if I received a text stating the order was done, and I said no, and they would not check the status for me. I never received any text at all. I called back on day 15 and the nice lady who answered the phone did check and those glasses were in on day 6! Had they checked when I originally called they could have found out they were in. Frustrating!!!
I worked with Issiah, at the Clark nj store. He was wonderful, attentive, had a great attitude and was very accommodating. I will come back again because of his seevice.

I was looking to get a new, spare pair of glasses and went back to Visionworks in Clark, having gone there previously, in 2018. Because of covid restrictions, I was unaware that visits were appointment only (my mistake). Melissa however, graciously accepted me as a walk-in, as a previous appointment finished early. I realize she wasnt obligated to take me in, but I thanked her very much for the accommodation. Melissa assisted me with frame selection and then Danielle helped continue with my choice of lenses. I came with a prescription from my eye doctor which Danielle informed me had recently expired, but she then assisted me with getting faxed over my latest prescription from their office. All in all, a quick, courteous experience, took me all of 15 minutes or so. Thanks, guys!
I came here because this location accepts my military health insurance (Tricare). The staff took precaution to keep everyone inside safe from COVID 19. In addition, the employees were very helpful and patient in helping me choose new frames. I would recommend this location to anyone.

The drs. are great, however, I waited a month for my glasses to come in. When I called, they said they had them and that they called me. I assure you, the did not. I have no missed calls from them and no messages that my glasses were in. I could not be more disappointed. They made me wait and wait. Inept people working there. Will not go back ever.
Awful experience. Long review but read if patient care is important to you. I am 7 months pregnant and am aware I was due for an eye exam this month. I called hoping to be able to have them order me contacts just to get me through until June when I have my baby then I had no problem coming in. I do not feel comfortable going in for a visit and putting my face on the eye machine during CoVid while pregnant. When I called the girl told me to call customer service to see if I can get a telehealth appointment. I do and they are no longer doing telehealth visits and was told to contact the store for a renewal of my prescription. When I called the girl was extremely rude and said “didn’t I tell you to call for a telehealth appointment” I explained to her I did and they are no longer doing telehealth and they told me to contact the office for a renewal. She took my information and told me she would speak to the doctor. She called me back later and told me the doctor will only extended it for 30 days. I explained I am due in early June, is there anyway just a little longer and explained my situation. My prescription was only expired 2 weeks and if your willing to give me 30 days, what does it matter a few months to keep a customer. He response was the doctor said no and it’s not like we’re in a covid crisis or anything. I thought that was extremely rude and insensitive to what we are currently dealing with. She then told me try 1800-contacts. I said you’re willing to lose a customer over a renewal. She said i dont know what to tell you. I asked repeatedly to speak or Atleast leave a message for the doctor and apparently that is not allowed. Coming from the medical field, I thought she was extremely rude and unprofessional, including the doctor. What doctor will not return a call to a patient. But they will surely be calling to collect a bill. To make matters worse I received an ExPired prescription from them in the mail. Which is completely useless. I don’t understand what the point was of sending it. Just to be rude. They were not kind or compassionate to a patient who was asking for help during a difficult time. They need better customer service training.... MAYBE a whole new staff.

Given the COVID circumstances, their front desk associate Gurpreet was very sweet and considerate. She took care of order and did not give me a hard time. I was able to go in and out and was able to resolve all of my concerns thanks to her. I must say Im very impressed and will definitely recommend this location to all and will definetly come back in the near future.
This was my 1st time @ this location & I must say I was very pleased with my overall experience here!! The staff were professional, courteous, & patient with me during both my eye exam & trying to choose 2 pairs of frames that I would eventually be purchasing. Honestly 5 stars is not enough to cover the experience me and my future husband just had at this Visionworks. I had asked him over a month ago to please go get new glasses for the wedding.....being a guy he never did. So here we are on Monday with our wedding on Sunday and he is calling his employer to find out what insurance he even has. We get all that covered and then make a call to Visionworks to see what they can do. They said if we come right now the doctor isnt busy and we should get seen quickly as a walk-in. I was not so hopeful but we got in the car. Immediately upon entering we are greeted and given forms to fill out. After the forms are done we browse a bit while waiting our turn. Not long after picking a pair he gets taken back by Melissa to do some testing. While talking to her the reason for the new glasses comes up and she told him they would take 7-10 days to get in for his prescription but she could make contacts happen in time. He comes back to the waiting room and tells me. After some back and forth (I really dont like his old glasses) he decides to wear them anyway on our wedding day. At that point I get a call I need to take and he goes back to the doctor. After his exam he comes out and sees I am really not happy with this choice. Melissa says she will see if the doctor has time to do the contact exam tonight. The doctor hears our story and decides to stay and help us out (normally you have to come back for a contact class). Melissa and the doctor were both super patient even though the doctor had a funeral to attend. They both went so above and beyond to make sure our special day was truly special. I can not say enough nice things about this location and their staff. Honestly I wish I would have went there instead of a different doctor that I saw for my own contacts. Thank you guys so so very much!
Tried calling them multiple times, it never reaches their HUMAN associates. Just playing music the whole 20mins or so and letting you know to pls remain on the line, etc.... Same thing happened even after attempting to call them again. No one picking up the phones or something? Cannot even leave a voicemail. Mind you, I was calling them within their business hours.
The staff at this location is extremely pleasant. They made the process of getting my glasses easy and quick. Melissa and Daniela picked out the perfect pair for me!! Dr. Zaky took care of my family and myself and she is just remarkable. This was my first time coming to this location and I will make sure to tell my coworkers at my local to visit the staff at Clark. Thank you Visionworks, definitely my new go-to place.
This office is Awesome, they are very professional and courteous. The doctor and staff took their time with my daughter and I, we weren’t rushed and they gave us their positive and negative opinions of our choices in frames not just letting us choose anything just because we liked it. The lady in the front had a real attitude problem which is a shame because when I went the first time a couple of years ago they treated me so well. Such a shame they’re going to lose business over a feeling of superiority over their customers.

She was very accommodating, gave great recommendations about which frames would look best on me, was very patient with me, and wore a beautiful smile throughout the entire transaction! The prices were very reasonable too. And the atmosphere of the store was inviting. I can’t wait to go back!
If I could leave ZERO stars, I would! This place is a disaster. Im usually not the type to slam a business online but this place deserves it. I made an appointment there for my annual eye exam and a new set of glasses. They couldnt fit me in for 2 weeks which was fine. When making the appointment, I was asked for my insurance information which I gladly provided. Then a few days before my appointment I was called AGAIN to ask for it, which I provided. Lo and behold, I walk in for my appointment and am standing up at the desk for a half hour for the girl to call my insurance and find out my coverage. I asked shouldnt this have been done before I walked in today? I got a weak apology in return. Heres the kicker ... they then tell me they are out of network with my insurance. So my options were to go through with the exam and pay, or walk out and call someone in-network but I had already wasted 2 weeks waiting for that appointment, so I unhappily agreed to be seen. My appointment was at 5:45 pm ... the doctor didnt see me til 6:40 pm. Almost an hour later. Why did I even bother making an appointment?! I felt rushed the entire time and the girls attitude in that office are extremely poor. When the doctor called me back, she had her coat and purse already in her hand, ready to leave because they were closing soon. So unprofessional. I walked out almost 2 hours later at 7:30 pm.Today I went to pick up my glasses and I was never given a microfiber cloth to clean them!! I called up and asked if I could have one to which I was told that the brand of glasses I bought didnt provide them for free, but they sold them there and could charge me. I asked to speak with the manager and told her about my poor experience at my appointment and after spending $300 with them, youd think theyd have better customer service. Keep the $5 cloth, you lost me as a customer.GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
The staff at this location not only were they nice and knowledgeable. Daniela, Melissa and Alexandra were amazing they def get 5 stars!!! Dr. Zaky was kind and made the whole exam process smooth and easy. I came to this location because of all the great reviews I read on here, and they were all correct! Def coming back next year.

I’ve gone here for 2 years and the service is great! Whenever my eyeglasses have needed adjustment, it was taken care of quickly. Everyone is polite and the optometrists that have seen me have been really friendly and professional.

I had lost my glasses and all places I tried locally told me I could have them in 7-10 business days....I contacted this store and they were able to help me over the phone and in 4 business days I had them in my hand! Great service, fast service and friendly! I hope not to lose my glasses again but if I do I will definitely call this store again! Thank you to Daniela for her diligence in finding my prescription, coaching me in taking my PD and finding a pair of frames I would love! Thank you, thank you!!! Professional, customer friendly and kind staff. I took my mom to fulfill her prescription here and my mom is a difficult person to deal with. But the team at this location was able to serve my mom with the utmost quality of service. Even my mom give her full approval. In addition, I selected this location my yearly eye examination. Fast service on recieving glasses with electronic notifications. A diverse selections of frames to choose from. This location is top of its class.
Melissa was not only super professional but very down to earth. She made me feel super special and was very patient as I went on and on looking for the perfect pair of glasses. I highly recommend anyone to come see her and her team.
Staff at this location always helpful. Dr. Jackline Zaky has been by OD for the past 3 years, she used to work at Visionworks in Bayonne that where I used to go because it’s 10 minutes from my house but I followed her to Clark when I found out she will be working there . She is one of the doctors who truly care about her patients ! she makes sure that she explains everything the patient need to know . On top of that, she is nice, friendly and meet you with a smile. I recommend this place if you are looking for a proper care !
Just finished picking up my new glasses. The service I recieved from the entire staff was exceptional. One in particular was Melissa. She is extremely nice and helpful. The office staff is absolutely awful! Walked in with my eye watering and not being able to see and there was nothing they said except that the doctor is booked and they could see me between patients. I couldn’t see and the form I had to fill out was a copy of a copy small print and hard to read. They were too busy drinking their green shake and having personal conversations to help... doctor was very nice bit the office staff belongs on the unemployment line. Perhaps someone from vision works can contact me...

Freddy they Rep. At the location refused to assist me, since it was 30 minutes to close. I had my optometry office email my prescription and at first he claim it not valid because it wasn’t printed, I asked him if I could print it at the location but the location has no email. I asked if I could logged into my email then he claimed that it not valid. My wife went to the Paramus location with the situation and was taken care of no problem. I just called the Springfield location and they said they could help me. I guess this location has it own rules.
I have been trying to reach the store for two days and can not reach a human. Music just plays for over 20 minutes at a time.

I rarely wear contacts, so when I do, they’re not always the most comfortable. She recommended a different brand of contacts and contact solution. She got my eyeglass prescription right too. Usually, the prescription is correct with my new glasses and I would get really bad headaches from wearing them. I didn’t have to go back to her like I’ve had to in the past with other doctors. I haven’t had any issues since I’ve seen her and I truly believe it’s because she’s great at her job and knows what she’s doing. Front desk worker needs a refresher course on customer care. I walked in one weekend fully intending to buy new glasses and was basically refused. I was due for an eye exam and could not be sold glasses without it (I was repeatedly told this in a very rude manner). I finally stopped asking to be sold glasses and tried to make an apmt for a eye exam and was given one for 2 weeks from the day. I left super upset and called my husband telling him what happened. He called them and asked for my prescription which they had on file and she refused to give it him - He basically schooled her and said it was Illegal to hold onto my prescription. She put him on hold, I am guessing to confirm that. She got back on the line and told him to have me come back to pick it up - which I did. I took my business to lenscrafters which was out of my network, SO I ended up spending more money than I intended to BUT I got my glasses within an hour. I still want to get a new eye exam as I know I need one but I will not go the Clark location.

A++++I cannot say enough good things about the staff + the doctors! Melissa, a store manager, was a pleasure from the moment I called to make an appointment. In person even more accommodating! I saw Dr. Zachy who was very patient in explaining a possible eye condition I might have. The doctor gave me 2 referrals to check out and go see to get a more complete diagnose.When I was called to pick up trial lenses, Dr. Pinho was available to fit them and found that there needed to be a slight adjustment so that I would feel no discomfort in the future. Overall, highly recommended!!!

My spouse already had a prescription from another doctor, so she selected a pair of frames from the wall and ordered them to be picked up at a later date. I found a pair of frames I liked, but I required an eye exam. None were available that day, so I made an appointment for Wednesday the following week. I confirmed the date and time of the eye exam several times with the clerk as I saved the appointment in my calendar. The young lady also recorded the model of frames I wished to be fitted for when I returned.The next Wednesday, I returned to Visionworks with one of my children in tow. A different clerk helped me this time and she wears low-cut shirts despite her age. I remember her (the clerk) having been present in the store a week ago, the day I made the appointment. She appeared visibly annoyed with a client on the telephone. From what I could discern, the client had made several unsuccessful attempts to speak with her optometrist by phone. She placed the client on hold, and audibly remarked, A few minutes on hold should do her good, or something to very similar effect. Visionworks did not have a record of my appointment for an eye exam nor the model number of the frames I had picked out. I was not given an explanation for how I had been forgotten. I was told I could wait and see if they could squeeze me in later, but that wasnt an option.In conclusion, the staff is overly comfortable. They make disparaging remarks about clients when theyre not present, and theyre poor at keeping appointment times for customers. I wont be back to this location. The store left a bad taste in my mouth.

Only awesome experiances with Melissa and the whole staff at the Visionworks in Clark Nj. Everyone is just as attentive and kind possible. Initially, I was only looking for contact lenses but the staff informed me of some amazing promotions that you guys had to offer and I came right back the next week to grab a pair of glasses. The Visionworks membership rewards are amazing, Ill definitely be back soon for some sunglasses. Thanks so much!!!
I went in today to get a pair of glasses and the staff was very patient and helpful with me. Everyone knew what they were talking about and I enjoyed my time here. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
This was my first time coming here and I can honestly say it was such a great experience. I easily made an appointment online and received a reminder text which I find so convenient. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile from Felicia. The intake was beyond fast and I was seen by Dr. Pinho. She was straight to the point and so friendly. I then went to find glasses and Melissa made this experience very memorable. She was so helpful with picking out styles and seeing which glasses would best suit my needs. Both my contacts and glasses were ready within a week. I will most certainly be back and recommend it to everyone I know. I can’t thank Felicia, Dr. Pinho and Melissa enough!
The only reason I came to the location is because of Melissa! Hands down the best employee I ever ran into. Super helpful, was so kind and effiecient. She called my old location to send over my prescription and was determined to get it. In less then a week i had my contacts in my hands and ready to go!!

Dr. Jackline Zaky is an amazing optometrist. My eyes are very sensitive and I do not like anyone near my eyes. I get very squirming. She was very patient and helpful. I have worn the same brand contacts for over a decade. After describing my discomfort with them she recommended another brand which I refused (since I’m stuck in my old habits). Thanks to her recommendation, eye drops and a different brand of contacts solved my issue tremendously. I will continue to use Dr. Jackline Zaky as my optometrist. I have already referred 2 of my friends and they are happy as well.
Had a great experience here! A cool lady named Karen helped me to find a good pair of glasses. She was super cool even though I made her stay 15 minutes late 🙈 ALSO they are open on sundays even though Google says it isn’t (?) !
I had the best experience coming to Visionworks in clark. Angie has been the best sales associate. She took the time and effort to help me get the right pair of glasses. At the end I chose ray ban brand. Thank you so much Angie! Ps go visit Angie and her great team in Clark!
I would have loved to give my experience 5 stars and if it had not been for Dr. Tailor and Alexandra, at the front desk my rating oils have been a 1 Star. Dr. Zaky was EXTREMELY RUDE!! The wait time was terrible but I understood because it was a holiday and they were busy no big deal, I’m patient. When my daughter was seen by Dr. Zaky she asked a couple of questions, which I answered. I received a disturbing text message regarding a personal matter as Dr. Zaky was making a comment then did not require a response from me although I said ok to acknowledge her comment. She then says, “ I am talking to you and you’re looking at your phone.” I said excuse me...I laughed a bit because my response was not going to be nice. I said that’s rude and you are unprofessional. She continued the examine and is speaking to my 13 yr old as if I’m not in the room and she’s over the age of 18. Meanwhile my appointment time is after my daughter’s she tells me to step out, not mad because after that I did not want her to examine me but this Dr. is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I was examined by Dr. Tailor who is very sweet, she was patient and answered all my questions.
The staff is very friendly. Dr. Pinho and Dr. Zaky are excellent doctors. I was very surprised that Dr. Pinho remembered me from my very first visit last year. That shows that she cares. I love this office
The Doctor was super polite, patient, thorough and took her time. The receptionists were kind, polite, lovely, helpful, especially Gina! She even stayed late finishing the order for my glasses. Everyone there provided an overall great experience!
