Place is better than what was expected and was something that I could share with family and friends. The staff is very well knowledgeable in a manner in which is simply, but effective. The looping video that is played downstairs no matter how many times I see it, take at least another 20 minutes to get to the range lol. I watch it every time.Glad it will be open on Sundays, it gives me something else to do after church.

First time here today and I am glad I went! The staff was amazing. Of course they were helping others when I went in, but as soon as they finished up a guy greeted me and asked what I needed. He was a nice guy, set me up for the range, explained everything, got my paperwork together, and asked if I had any questions. I had my own weapon and ammo so I was on my way. The range lobby area was clean, the actual range itself was also clean they gave the eye and ear protection, etc. When I got done firing I cleaned up my brass and headed out. A different gentleman was upstairs when I got done, a bit older and I wish I knew his name so I could give him a shout out for his great customer service, but anyway I asked about the classes for carry permits and he took the time to explain everything! Im so glad I didnt allow the few negative reviews to sway me from visiting . Managment, you have awesome staff members and Ill definitely return and refer you to others as often as possible!Rochelle :-)

Most of the workers there are very helpful and understanding. I have bought 3 weapons from them and plan to buy more. I did buy my first Glock 19 G5 which kept jamming on me. I was instructed to call Glock about the issue and got a BS invalid answer. I called Tennessee Gun Country (TGC) and the fellow over the phone gave me a real solution which worked perfectly. I would give a 5 star but there is a fat Ahole employee that just gives too much attitude. Other than him, great place to shop.

I shot it at their range, asked the guy if he actually boresighted it. Only after my inquiry does he decide to reveal more information. Windage knob is now stripped after he handled it, and he tried to play it off like he didnt do it. He even tried to hide it by just handing it back to me. Common sense!

I just left this place with my fiancé. We waited for about 10 mins and browsed around waiting for the workers to finish up with the customers before us. There were three workers. The woman finished with her customer and literally did not acknowledge us. Even when people are working with another customer, they at least say hello to whomever just walked in. Fast forward another 5 mins, another customer walks in. She speaks to them and asks if they need help. The second worker is now just standing behind the counter. Still didn’t acknowledge us as we are standing there in their faces! We left. I’m big on customer service, especially at a gun shop! I do not recommend wasting your time going in here.

The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because its hot down there. The range is indoors but underground. They keep it cool but it does get stuffy down there and you will sweat. Started to do my paperwork for my background check and was about to pay when the price jumped up, when asked a question on why the price went up was told they would be charging me a Credit Card Fee that was not posted anywhere. When I asked about the fee the manager (Female Blond Lady) got mad and said that I needed to pay $10 for the background fee and I could leave. When I questioned why I was being charged more for the CC she had no answered and could not point out anywhere that stated the up charge. I refused to pay for the background and was told to leave the store and they would never sell to me. I requested for the owner to call me as they have my phone number, but I am not holding my breath. But if the owner does see this I hope he has a chance to review his cameras and look at June 5th around 11:15 AM so he can see the way his staff treats his potential customers. Needless to say I will never go back or refer anyone to this store. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp... Seems to be the normal for this business.**UPDATE** The owner called and didnt want to hear my side of the situation, just wanted to let me know that I owe him $10 and said if I dont come in and pay he would have me arrested. What a P.O.S. I will not be paying a thief, and if he would like he has my information and can take me to small claims over the matter.

I have been to TN gun country many times and was always treated with respect. Prices are better than anyone in town (sometimes by $100 on a rifle). Any time I ask a question they answer it politely. There are times I go in and they are out of stock and no rude comments are made for not making a purchase. Richard is always awesome, has helped me work on a rifle there at no charge. David has also helped and answered many questions. I went in about a week ago looking to do a modification on a rifle and David showed me what he thought would work. I went home and tried but it wouldnt do what I wanted. I went back the next day and David told me he would return the item I bought the previous day and give (thats right, for free) me something else that would defiantly work. I went home and sure enough it worked like a charm.BTW with the recent fear of gun/ammo ban everyone has jacked their prices up through the roof....except TN gun country. Racially Profiled!!!! Me and my girlfriend stop by today for the range. (Interracial couple) We came to shoot the AR-15 and some pistols. When we arrived we noticed an older white man with his AR no bag or anything just carrying it out. Me myself I also don’t have a bag for my AR. I’ve been to the Several different Ranges without a bag. Never had a issue. I always take the clip out just so people won’t be on edge. So we enter the store walk to the counter an immediately, become hated by the lady at the counter. Telling me “Don’t ever do that again, because that will get you shot!” Asked her if she greeted the older white man with the same hospitality. She claimed that she did. Against my better judgment I proceeded with entering the range buying bullets plus a bag for the rifle. $60 in all. So as my girlfriend and I finished shooting for the day. We couldn’t help but notice the older white man who was leaving earlier when we arrived had returned. Still without a rifle bag! Will not be returning to this range in the future. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone either. I’ll spend my money elsewhere!!

After reading some other comments I decided to give TGC a review. I have been in and out of the place for years now and I will say that when they were in the smaller shop (a block away from the new one) the employees did seem to have this condescending attitude, some kind of military know-it-all kind of attitude, and Im former military myself. Since moving to the new place Ive noticed on very rare occasions a little bit of this but not enough for me to care.If you know firearms and know what you want youll be absolutely fine. If not, just have a general idea of what youre looking for. In fact, most gun shop employees will prefer that you do know kind of what you want so they can help you quickly and you wont be taking them away from other customers all day long. Overall I think the employees are great. Theyll bring in projects and personal weapons to give you inspiration, some of them do side things like gun work and cerakote; you wont find more knowledgeable people out there.Like others have stated, the range is awesome but there is some serious reverberation so consider upping your ear protection if you use cheap foam plugs. Maybe even invest in an electronic pair. They have a lot to choose from, as far as ammo goes, I buy in bulk so I cant say if theyre more or less expensive than any other retailer on Fort Campbell Blvd.I give them a shot, the average person will do just fine in this establishment. Hope this also helps the new shooters who might find personality lacking, just talk to the employees and theyll sort you out.

Range fees are a bit pricey, but it is indoors. I was shocked however when I went downstairs and was enveloped with a cloud of gun smoke in the lounge area. The range was even worse. Either the ventilation system was not turned on or not working properly. Didnt spend longer than 30 min since it was comparable to standing in a smokers lounge with no fan. I would have expected for the price of the range, a well ventilated indoor area. Definitely will not return until they get ventilation fixed or upgraded.

If I could give them no stars I would. Very Rude. Not coming back.

I bought a used Glock there. Best price in town. People were very helpful and nice. I spent months looking all over Nashville. Dave and his staff hooked me up. I will be back.

Should have read the reviews, but at the time there was no alternative since the alternative and better range caught fire. Anyway... here’s my experience:1. I tried to shoot, but couldn’t spend more than 15 minutes or so inside. Why? Not only were there no working lane lights (safety issue in my humble opinion) but there was no ventilation so I couldn’t breathe well. I mentioned something to the guys behind the counter on the way out. Their reply was “we had the fans on this morning”. I went in around 3:00pm2. While there I noticed they had a handgun that I’ve been looking for (ruger .22 magnum revolver). Since I bought it, it’s been sent back to Ruger twice for repair due to misfire. First time they replaced the firing pin and cylinder. Second time was the mainspring. Crazy for a “new” gun, huh? I mentioned this to a few gunsmiths, specifically whether they’ve had problems with this firearm. Resounding NOPE! I explained what happened and what was repaired. All three said that it sounds like it was used as a range rental. It could be sold as “new” because they’re a dealer. Shady... but legal. Caveat emptor.Needless to say I’ll not be using this range for anything again.

Very stuck up girls behind the counter. They were talking rudely about a customer that just left as we got there. The lady helping us would repeat herself at least once so irritably about anything to me as if she was expecting a response to her statements. Its safe to say I wouldnt buy anything from the likes of her.

I took the weapons safety class. Richard was a really good instructor. Comfortable atmosphere. Would take other classes there.

Too many restrictions on the range.. the prices to use to range are not even comparable to other ranges around town.. dont waste your money using the range here make the drive to Montgomery County Shooting complex.. its only a 25 yard range here and twice the price
