Just want everyone to know that Dr Richards and his staff are in the top 5 best clinics in the world. Honestly, if it wasnt for them, I would not be here today. They helped a serious nose bleed. They are amazing and caring people. I will always say a prayer for all of them. They are fantastic human beings. Thank you! God bless you all!

In 2010 Dr. Richards fixed my septum and everything worked well for a few years. A few years ago I started having snoring issues and allergy problems so I saw an ENT/ Allergist in Nashville. They suggested septoplasty again and allergy shots. I started allergy shots in Clarksville and went back to Central TN ENT in late August for a second opinion. I saw Jason Mattern PA, he said I should get the surgery done again and said I would benefit from it. I wanted to wait until closer to December so he said to come back when I was ready. On Oct 2nd I went in and this time saw Dr. Richards. Dr. Richards said You dont need the surgery and you would have a hard time convincing me of doing it again. So why is your PA telling me one thing and the Dr. telling me a different thing? Which one do I believe? With something as important as sinus surgery, why am I seeing a PA? Plus, Jason is in the BCBS network, but Dr. Richards is not! Two separate people in the same office but both not in the same network!? WTH!? To top it off, I had to take time off from work and pay a $40 copay to be told I dont need the surgery!?! Worst customer service out of any medical office I have ever been to and I even include going to the VA. My sinuses are still messed up, I snore (even with my CPAP) and now I have to find a Dr. I can trust. Any recommendations?

Highly recommend! I first went to another office in town where I had an unsatisfactory experience. This office was able to get me in the next day, I saw Jason Mattern, who was fantastic. He listened, was thoughtful and knowledgeable, and came up with appropriate plans of care. Informed consent is important. Time was taken to discuss risks and benefits of the recommended course of treatment as well as other options. I have had no difficulty in scheduling follow up appointments. Wait times are reasonable in that Im typically seen early or right on time for my appointments. The nurses and staff are very personable.

Worst experience I had. I had complete loss of hearing in my left ear and my primary has referred to Dr. Richards due to seriousness of the condition. When I went to Dr. Richards office, his personal assistant came. When I go to a specialist, I expect to see the doctor. Why I am paying for his PA. That is 1st problem. 2nd problem is that the PA, after a simple 5 second test, thought that my right ear is the problem one. And he suggested to go for an MRI without proper diagnosis. And he also concludes that my primary doctor does not hearing test equipment though I told him that test was already performed. What a waste of time and money. I went to Vanderbilt ENT doctor and they spent a full hour before concluding with the problem. And the doctor saw me and not the PA.

They are nice in the office but I feel they dont educate the parents enough in office about the child. My son has had 5 operations with this Dr. and Im kinda at my wits end knowing theres about to be a 6th. My son is almost 11 and I still do not fully understand why the ear tubes keep coming out. My heart is breaking for my baby.

I had my deviated septum fixed through Dr. Randolph last October. I am having to have the same surgery, again, next week. I was told my nose wouldn’t have to be broke- he broke my nose. I was told I wouldn’t need stents- I woke up with a stent in each nostril. The stents were left in for a week. When I went back to have them removed, the blood and everything dried the stents to my nose, so they had to be cut before he could pull them out- worst pain ever. Then, as soon as I got home, we noticed my nostrils had gone back to EXACTLY how they were before the surgery. I went back to have him look at it and he told me he normally takes more cartilage out of the front, he could see the issue, and he didn’t know why he didn’t take more out while he had me under. Then, he said he could chisel out the cartilage in the front of my nose in office...while I was awake...under a litocane shot. Every doctor I’ve seen since this appointment told me that is the craziest thing they have ever heard and to not allow him to do that while I’m awake. Now, I’ve had to have 2 doctors visits with a doctor outside of Clarksville ($100) and am having to pay $2200 to have the same surgery again. I just want to be able to breathe out of my nose.

I went for my first visit. Walked in and was greeted very rudely by the desk lady. I didnt say anything as everyone has a bad day. My spouse walked in and she spoke rudely to him. Ok strike 2 still didnt say anything. I went back to her and said yes maam I have another insurance to provide for my copays. She again rudely said we dont take va I can promise you they dont do copays. We arent credentialed with them. I responded calmly well my heart dr does it. She said rudely Ive never heard if that and thrnbegan ignoring anything I was saying.I sat down and said man she is rude you dont treat people that way and she heard me. She went and told the staff manager who came out. Told me she has to protect her staff and cant have me talking like that about her staff. Mind you I never said a curse word.s i irritted was not screaming I was irritated and was talking with a little raised voice.I spoke to her and the dr and the dr was nice and apologized and said shes from the north and had been there along time. Asked of I wanted to be seen. I explained the va has never had a referral before and they needed to check on that.I dont care where you are from DO NOT get people that way. I left and will take my business somewhere else and call tricare and ask for them to be taken off the list. People dont need to be treated that way.

I had ear problems for 4 or 5 days and I just knew I wouldn’t get in to see a specialist for weeks, however I called Dr Richards office and they got me right in. The staff was amazing and Dr Richards was an amazing Dr. he took the time with me and explained what was going on. From this day forward this I would recommend Dr Richards to anyone.Thanks Dr Richards and staff for everything.Jonathan

The staff is awesome, the doctor is good and to the point, has to improve on his patient listening skills.Did he get the job done? Yes.Was he personable? NoWas he interested in my concearns? NoWas his staff personable? Big Yes.Will I return or recommend him? No.

I waited over an hour, with Doctor finally arriving in my room at 9:50 for a scheduled 8:45 appointment. He did not look me in the eye, breezing past me as he called out his name. He then asked me - what are you here for? He had clearly not reviewed the pre-screen by the nurse OR viewed the Sinus CT disk I had brought. He quickly left the office and then came back confused, having viewed the wrong Scan. (They are clearly labeled) and then I had to send him back again. When he returned he was short and arrogant saying -it wasn’t a big deal and was that the “only” thing I was here for. I had to prompt him further and he eventually agreed to order a sleep study and took me up front. As he tried to hand me off to the nurse he realized he had been holding the wrong chart the entire time. He was arrogant, dismissive and spent a total of about 6 minutes with me, even though I was there there to address sinus concerns that have been bothering me for 6 months and waited several weeks for the appointment. I will be reporting him to my insurance and seeking out an ENT that is not to busy for me. He clearly does not value me as a patient.

Dr. Richards is the kindest dr. All his employees are just so sweet also. Dr. Richards literally saved my life. He found cancer on my vocal cords before anything got bad. My Blessings to The whole Central Tn Ear Nose & Throat people. I so appreciate all youve done for me. JM ♡♡♡

The staff is always so polite to me. Ive always been taken seriously here. Randy Richards listened to me when I told him all the issues Ive had with my tonsils. Alot of doctors Ive been to have shrugged it off and ignored my issues. Richards fixed the problems Ive been having by shaving my tonsils down. Highly recommend this place.

My surgery was at 1030 am (no food or drink since midnight). My anxiety and panic attack kicked in because i was nervous about the surgery. I had no issues with the Dr taking care of patients. I do have a issue where i didnt even leave the surgery center until 1700 (5pm) and they gave me an envelope. Problem the prescription was wrong and wrong patient. I immediately called the on call center to try to correct this problem. The nurse drove it down to my pharmacy but yet again wrong meds. My husband had to pay out of pocket for these meds. Then i text the dr and told him what the issues was. He told me all i had to do is bring the other person prescription in and then they would prescribe me the right medication. And so now they took the meds that was filled and told me tough luck. I didnt have problems with Dr Randolph he was great. But Jason was completely rude trying to cut me off what i was trying to explained to him what happened. I definitely do not want to deal with Jason again. I did call Dr Richard at 5 am day 2 after the surgery letting him i was still gushing blood and my head hurting pretty bad. Had a conversation with him that didnt make sense. I called my PCM at Blanchfield ACH. They told me to go into the ER

Dr. Richards and his office staff and nursing team were absolutely amazing and took exceptional care of my daughter, who is 7. She had her tonsels and adnoids removed and tubes put in her ears at the same time. They kept me very well informed and were very compassionate to my needs. I had a scare a few days ago, after hours and within 3 minutes I had a response from Dr. Richards. He was very thorough and did not make me feel less than due to my worries and concerns! Everytime I have called I have got immediate and responses wether it be about scheduling or some question that I had forgotten to ask. I would recommend this doctor to anyone looking to be treated by an ENT. Thanks and hope this helps!!!

This is one of the worst offices I have ever visited. The scheduling staff are completely unresponsive and disrespectful. When I tried to argue the bill they charged hundreds of dollars for a 15 minute visit and 1 squirt of Apahran they considered this administering so it was an additional $100. Because I have argued this debt they sent it to collections where the collections company is calling being very harassing and hanging up on me. I cannot recommend this office.
