My designated pool place was ruined when their huge water (reservoir) bladder had a leak and got our spot too muddy to level. They told me I had to rush and get gravel delivered that day in order to keep that designated pool spot OR I had to change the pool location. So we had to change pool locations. Keep in mind I spent $1000 to have a tree removed right beside my first designated pool area. So I wasted that money AND had to change my pool location because their equipment malfunctioned and ruined my first pool location. They installed the pool finally then refused to put the dirt in a predetermined location because the yard was too wet due to their equipment malfunction. They left my back yard a wreck. They also repeatedly drove over and parked on my water meter in the yard after being asked to move and stop driving on it. I called the general manager and he apologized and made it abundantly clear that the paperwork I signed released all responsibilities to me for any damages that may have occurred in the process of pool installation and that their job was to provide me with an installed pool and that was it. I also had to provide the installers with gas and tarps to put under my pool. They also took 1 of my tarps, but I was told there would be a gift card at the store for my inconvenience. I won’t be using pool and spa depot for my next pool. If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be looking to them to install my in ground pool at my new house or use them for any other services after I receive my chemicals for this install.

My mom bought her 27’ above ground pool new last summer with this company. The liner has already falling down in couple places not to mention you can’t get ahold of these people to come out and do anything… you think if someone spent thousands on a pool they would do the bare minimum and answer the phone.. I run a business myself so I understand that it’s peak season and busy but at the same time you could at least return a phone call/voicemail.. guess once they collect their money you’re no longer a customer and not to mention they’ve had two different contractors out here when it was installed because they couldn’t get it right in the first place… highly wouldn’t recommend them for a pool because they contract everything out and once you pay them good luck getting anything else out of them.. This place is a joke!
Our initial two visits at this store did not impress us at all. After reading the great reviews, specifically for Mr. John Deeds, we decided to pay them another visit. Fortunately, this time we were greeted by Mr. John Deeds, and I m going to say we experienced nothing but The Best Customer Service. From his immense knowledge and expertise, to his transparency and willingness to go the extra mile, we were totally impressed. We have had nothing but trouble and very poor customer service trying to buy a pool from other places and someone recommended this place to us. Jordan, Ryan and Logan just installed the hot tub and the whole process of purchase, delivery and installation has been amazing. Everyone involved has been very knowledgeable. Delivery and installation went on time and as planned (almost). There were house items in the way - light fixture, downspout, etc., but I was able to remove them and the installers were helpful and patient. They explained startup and operation and cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend and use again!
My family came in to pool and spa depot to purchase a pool. In part of doing research, one name kept coming up for a salesman, Mr. Deeds, so we set out to pool and spa depot and asked for Mr. Deeds. He explained in detail the difference between all the pools the sell. We ended up going with a middle of the road pool. The nice part about this whole purchase was Mr. Deeds didn’t pressure us into making a decision, we felt like family with him. In fact after everything was done he actually welcomed us to the family. Chad, Pete, but this man lunch! It was well earned!

Set up pool closing and ordered closing chemicals. Was greeted immediately and when I told her my name, she immediately went and got the chemical pack and gave me the instructions. Was in and out in 3 minutes!

This location is struggling. The staff is truly terrible at communicating across the store, and as a company. Be sure you get ALL the information, keep up with everyone you talk to (take names and job titles) as they will try and push it off on each other.The good part you ask? ERIC.. he is the person you want to talk with. Whether it’s about your chemicals, plumbing and overall care! He has an outstanding personality, good attitude and really is happy to answer every question. Pool class is the thing they do right. Along with their contractors that install your pool.

Our family went in to Pool and Spa Depot with zero knowledge of pools and we met an amazing guy, John Deeds. After we left we had learned so much from him. From beginning to end, Mr. Deeds walked us through the entire process of which above ground pool would be the best for our family/ money, gave information about the materials, chemicals, etc, not to mention he answered all of the questions we had, which of course made us feel right at home. We just left John at the Clarksville, TN location. He was very knowledgeable and kind. We trust John with our pool buying decisions and he made sure that we had the best pool for our family. I am looking to get new hot tub installed but after seeing the way this company is handling a pool install for a friend and neighbor... I think I will take my business elsewhere. Not only have they taken forever but they keep stiffing them on costs and materials. Not impressed with what I have observed.
Not necessarily a complaint on the location. But a review on the corporate entity of the business.We moved into a home that had the pool repaired by this company late last fall early winter. The pool liner is coming down and is supposed to be covered by a 1 year installation warranty, but because we are new owners they will not stand by their work and will not honor the warranty. I dont believe this is a fair procedure of how to handle it. Now instead of using this company to maintain my pool I will use another company in the area.

Just bought a house and was not going to endure a summer in TN without a pool. Walked into the store and was greeted by Deeds who walked us through the process. Very up front with what the different options and sizes where and helped us make an educated decision for the size of our family. Easy to work with, and it helps he is a bourbon drinker. Would definitely recommend any one looking for a pool to come and see Deeds and the crew at the store.

We walked in to Pool and Spa and was greeted by Matt. We had a great first meeting and ended up buying our pool that day. There was a lot of miscommunications as to what we needed to do vs what they were going to do as the process went by. That was all fixed and no problems. Our main issue is with Kelly( spelling) in installation. My husband has been dealing with her but I’ve listens in on two occasions on speaker phone. Her attitude is horrible and she seems to forget who the customer is and that we pay her salary! We had to call in several times to get updates on when the installation was even going to happen after her saying multiple times she would call us. She did not call when she said she was going to hence why we called her! I am NOT okay with how she handles communications. I understand she may feel the same way we do, but in the end, WE are the customer who forked out over 15k on this pool. We deserve to know what’s happening and when especially since our jobs keep us away from home. So scheduling is super important to us! We told her this several times. To date, our pool is STILL not installed and have no clear date on when it will happen. We understand weather permitting, but our date got pushed out due to another install. At least that’s what we were told…. I would love to give more stars to the guys at the actual store, but Kelly killed it.
I’ve been looking into getting a pool for about a year and walked into pool and spa depot thinking I’d look at options and have to go back home to make my mind up about which pool I wanted. Adam was so resourceful and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of owning and operating a pool. I had a million questions about chlorine vs. salt water stealth vs. above ground, he answered every question I came up with and ones I hadn’t yet thought of. I was so comfortable with the knowledge I now had thanks to Adam, that I not only made my mind up but purchased our pool and waiting for my install date to be swimming by summer!! Adam did a fantastic job and earned my business, if your looking for a pool or hot tub etc do yourself a favor and go see Adam at pool and spa depot Clarksville!!!

Still waiting on my pool install. It’s been since 3/27 that we picked out our pool. Sand will be delivered on Monday and the electrician is standing by. I would really like to have it for the long weekend coming up.

I purchased a hot tub off of Amazon and I absolutely love it however trying to keep a balance can be a bit of a calf but thankfully test your water for free make suggestions for you based off of your chemical type and they do not charge you anything for that each time Ive been the gentlemen have been extremely helpful and actually show concern about things that you voice to them thats going on with your hot tub or pool I am now seeing these people wants to twice a week If you have a hot tub or a pool go there they will definitely help you with keeping your pool balanced and your hot tub balanced as well

John Deeds was very helpful in our experience at the Clarksville location. We purchased the Cape Cod Aluminum pool. He, along with Matt and the GM all were helpful and patient as we went back and forth about which pool to purchase. I appreciate the no pressure approach and each person answered mymany many questions. We are glad to have the install in a couple weeks so we will be ready for warm weather. I will update this review as the install is completed.
I come here weekly to have my water tested. I purchase all my supplies from them. Theyve come out to the house to help me open my pool. The customer service is exceptional! I would highly recommend them for your pool needs!
We had purchased a new pump and sand filter had them come out to install and to do hard plumbing. Then the following summer no swimming or anything because a covid 19 had hit. So this summer comes around and the pipes that were installed was leaking just wanted them to come out and fix it. would be a easy fix, but the way he had it, it couldnt even turn any more and they refused to comeout because they said they only give one year warranty so got me upset with that because they know with everything thats been going on financially and emotionally and physically with everyone I thought they would come out and do the right thing!But no... then he said he would call me back but never did!!So sad!

We went to Pool and Spa Depot because we vowed never to go to Nashville( Family Leisure) again after a bad experience with a pool wall that rusted and exploded only lasting two summers. I had such high hopes and was amazed at the set up at P&SD and their variety of selections for above ground pools. I would give a negative score except the 1 star they do have is John (Mr. Deeds). He is a salesman and he is good at this job. He listens to customers and didnt try high-pressure sales tactics while we were in the decision process.The problem I have with this company stems from the customer service we experienced after the sale, while trying to settle a warranty claim on our filter. We ordered our 24 pool as a DIY and contracted out the installation so we wouldnt have to wait 12-14 weeks for them to install. We understand its the busy season and they are booked up, no problem. My dad picked up the pool himself to save the installer time and everything was on-site and ready for them to get started when they arrived. Except half of our step/ladder was missing as was the start up chemicals and our automatic vacuum system. I was a little irritated that I had to make a special trip but I went to the store and Mr. Deeds was so accommodating and friendly assisting me with what I needed. I left satisfied and excited to get home to start up my pool for the first time.Our pool was installation was Wednesday 6/23/21. After completing the filling process, the first time I plugged up the filter was Saturday 6/26/21 and it immediately started to leak. The leak was from a split in the seam of the filter body, it is a defect from the manufacturing of the filter not from incorrect installation or damage. It took a few days and phone calls to the installer (Joel Reeder- who is amazing and so is his crew) and to Mr. Deeds to determine that the replacement filter (covered under warranty) would be installed by P&SD and not the installer. We add 4 inches of water everyday because of the leak so that we can run the filter until the new replacement is installed. Today is 7/6/21 and we still dont have our new filter so my Dad paid a visit to the store to check on the status. While there he spoke with the Assistant Store Mgr. (didnt get his name) and he was not treated with the same customer service as we received during the previous visits and phone calls. The Assistant Mgr. went so far as to say my dad was being difficult just because he had the expectation that our brand new never-been-used-before-that-first-plug-up filter would be replaced by the company and not us. Why should we have to pay them to install a replacement filter that is covered under warranty? It isnt the stores fault that the filter is defective nor is it the installers. However, why Pool & Spa Depot would think any customer would be happy about them passing on the cost to us is beyond me. This man was rude, condescending and the poorest example of customer service imaginable. Ive had better experiences with better customer service buying a car from lemon lots! Family Leisure had poor customer support of their products but were at least respectful and cordial to the customer. My dad is the most friendly person and is never purposefully difficult to anyone, he extends grace to people in situations that I would have trouble maintaining my cool in. I am so disappointed that he was the one on the receiving end of this encounter. Im not asking P&SD for anything to make this right except what is owed to us. The one thing that is owed to my dad is an apology from the Assistant Mgr., hell never get one but he is a forgiving man and will move on from this (that grace I mentioned before). P&SD lost many customers today and that is sad too because Mr. Deeds doesnt deserve that either. Everyone loses when you dont treat others with respect!UPDATE:Mike did call my dad and apologize last Thursday.Our replacement filter arrived Friday and was installed.

I am currently having my pool installed. If you can choose your install crew I recommend Rickey, Shaq, Ivey and West. These guys are not only efficient, they are exacting. They were super considerate of my property as well and spending the time it took to make sure everything was perfectly level. They are quick and super personable. All around great crew!
We purchased our hot tub in February for our new home. We were told it would be delivered by the first week of June. We were fine with that as our house wouldnt be ready til April, so the first week in June would be perfect. Well, June rolls around, no one calls so I call Liam. Liam said it would be August before we would receive our hot tub. I told him thats not what you told us, you told us our hot tub was already on order and would be here the first week of June. He went on to explained due to covid orders were pushed back.. I told him a call to let us know that wouldve been nice. He apologized. I was then given the options of waiting, picking out a new tub or getting my money back. I was upset but wanted my hot tub so we went in and chose a new hot tub with the promise it would be delivered within 7-10 business days. So on day 10 I called Liam to see where our hot tub was. He said I told you it would be 10 business days I said it has been 10 business days. He then called who ever and they said it would be the next week. I told him no Im not waiting til next week . So he gets back on the phone and now they can deliver it on that Friday morning at 9am. I told him that would be perfect.Well today June 29, 2021, the electrician comes out and gets the hot tub all hooked up. We start the filling process and the hot tub starts leaking and not drips but running. So I call the store, the guy tells me to email him a video of the leak. He said Oh thats a leak leak I said yes it is. He says he put in a work order and someone will call me today or tomorrow to set up an appointment to come out and fix the leak. I explained to him no I need this fixed today. He said he didnt have any say so with that department but he would put in the note for t hem to call today. He did and someone called. The person on the phone (Dana) said that someone would be out Monday July 5th to fix the hot tub. My husband by this time takes the phone and tells her thats unacceptable. He explains what weve already been through to get the tub and he wants it fixed today or tomorrow. Dana said that was the earliest date because they only have one technician but that my husband could speak with the manager. The manager never came to the phone, Dana then said someone could be out here Saturday morning to fix the hot tub. My husband was livid but I told him that would be fine as long as it was fixed before we start our 4th of July. Dana promised it would be, as the technician is coming in on his day off to fix it. So well see what happens Saturday. I will update my review then 🤷🏽♀️.6/30/2021 Update: we received a call yesterday evening saying someone canceled their appointment, so they have an opening for this morning. Our leak is fixed and they supplied all our start up chemicals. Thanks Liam, Dana and the tech that came out to fix the leak! One 🌟 updated to 4 🌟!
Clarksville was completely sold out of sleds this week after the snow and John was the true MVP to have shared where the goods were stocked. My kids had so much fun sledding with their pool floats and they held up beautifully!! Thanks again John for keeping the community posted on where they can get all things fun for summer AND Winter!!!

My husband and I went in to looks at a spa after doing a bit of internet research. We met with John and his faithful sidekick for the day Greg. John was knowledgeable in the differences in top brands, they both were personable and made the buying experience pleasant. We were able to see all the different options and feel the difference in the jet packs. We ended up purchasing just what we were looking for!!

I dont own a pool, hot tub, or spa. However, there was a ton of snow this past week and John D. was clever/kind enough to post in my local bourbon group that they had pool salt in stock (at a more than reasonable price) for salting our driveways and sidewalks. I really appreciate them coming through for the community when we were all scrambling to prepare for bad weather!

July 4th!!!! The one time of the year you want to celebrate poolside with friends and family!! We signed our in ground pool contract back in October of 2020 and had one wish, to swim by the 4th of July. Everything was lined up and ready to go until a sub backed out last minute, but have no fear when it comes to working with the heart of Pool and Spa Depot, they’re going to make it happen for you one way or another. This weekend would not have happened without some major strings pulled by John Deeds our salesman who has literally been so helpful in advocating for us continually throughout this process and to also Trey in the front of the house. Trey Bush is a person you want to seek out when going in for anything chemical related. When I called him concerned that we wouldn’t get chemicals circulating in time, he said I’ve got you Ms. Reeder, come by first thing and we’ll get you set up. He’s always so respectful and knowledgeable when dealing with customers and you can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. Trey and John get a double 5 star review for getting us up and going for the 4th of July weekend!!

We went to the Bowling Green store 4 years ago to buy an above ground pool and the salesman told me if I wasnt buying the $11,000 one to go ahead and leave. This past month I have been trying to get an estimate for an inground pool and noone would call us back!! They also said that the appointment reminder was not used, its something that should be deleted. Well, I then went to the Clarksville store and it was SO DIFFERENT. John Deeds was amazing and sold us a contract!! Pete, buy this man lunch!!! Thank you so very much!!

On April 6, 2021 we bought a pool to replace our broken pool. They said it’s in stock 2-3 weeks for install. Great! Over three weeks go buy my husband calls them. They had excuses but said May 17. We got sand delivered we pulled our permit. May 17 we call again. Now they say 3-4 more weeks. When I commented on their Facebook page they deleted both my comment and my husbands ad blocked us from reposting. That was it. Shady business dealings! We went in today and got a complete refund an are going with a store out of Nashville. We had wanted to do business local that did not work. Do not buy a pool from them I have now heard this story from several others. Once they get your money (we had paid in full) they run you around

Pool and spa depot was amazing. After traveling out of state and coming home to my pool cover ripped I was a little upset. However I called pool and spa depot, they scheduled me and came out immediately! A gentlemen by the name of Damien came out, I was like one guy came out to replace a pool cover!?!?! I mean it take me and 3 others! Anyways, man was I impressed! He came out removed the old and installed the new all alone! He was amazing in every way, even took the time to be personable. Couldn’t of asked for a better service! Thank you Damien!

Liam was great to work with in discussing us getting a spa for my wife. She is a RA and Lupus patient and he was very attentive with that information and respectful by wearing a mask and respecting distance while we were there. We got a great deal on a spa (Twin Palms) for my wife and we cant wait to get it so she can get some relief! These guys at this location are top notch, please go see them!

We recently purchased a pool spa from Pool & Spa Depot. We had a wonderful experience there and the salesman, John Deeds, was very knowledgeable and helped us greatly. He was courteous and took the time we needed to feel comfortable with our final decision. He has also been very helpful whenever we have had to return for different things and is readily available unless with a customer. We were very pleased with both the service and the purchase. We highly recommend purchases from this place and we also recommend asking for John to help you with all your pool/spa needs. He knows his stuff!
