Exceptional Service is the least I can say. I was looking for a reliable car for a reasonable price. I really got a bargain with my Taurus. What started at 1999 was reduced to 1695. The price included a 3 month clause. Stating that if I have any issues within the next three months I can take the vehicle back! The sale person was quite nice and helpful. He recommended an insurance company to me. It was 150 dollars cheaper than the alternative company I was originally going to sign with! I would recommend that anyone looking for a vehicle stop at Midtown Motors first!

I left them an email and they called me back and asked me how much money do I have. I replied how much do I need. And they hung up on me. What kind of business does that? Whoever answered the phone was the most unprofessional sales person I’ve ever talked to. I WOULD DEFINITELY ADVISE NO ONE TO BUY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL CARLOT!

So I purchased my car on Friday 08/30/19 with cash and it was smooth but I noticed it was shaking a bit. The salesman told me it just needed an alignment and was nice enough to discount the car because of that. I had a funeral to go to that Saturday for a close friend. So I took the car to Precision Tune for my alignment and come to find out it had a bad wheel baring which cost me $438 to fix. That should definitely be covered under the warranty. The salesman repeatedly stated it has a 90 guarantee on it and I could call if there was any issues. I called and sent them a picture of my noticed from Precision and they never followed up with me. I’ve tried calling the number multiple times and no answers. I feel like I was cheated. They were super nice that day though. I wouldn’t recommend them at all based off this experience so if you’re looking to buy a car try some other places 1st.

This shop is great.The shop is very far from my home. However the time and gas to go there is not wasted.I got a good car with reliable price. They made me a good offer. Although I am a foreigner, they tried to understand me and gave useful help.After purchasing, the mechanic fixed tiny problem of light. If you find a good car and hope good offer. My husband and I purchased a 2011 Buick Enclave on April 26, 2020. We had brought in our own plate to be transferred and the owner had said that he would get a molding piece that was missing from between the back window and cargo area window on the driver side. Mr. Brock helped us get all the paperwork settled and we were on our way. I initially called about 2 weeks later (mid May) to ask if the molding had been ordered and when I could get it. This started a very long phone log of calls on my part. The owner was on vacation, he was at auction, he was somewhere he couldnt be reached. Then, in June, I received a whole new tag in the mail. I initially called DMV to ask what I should do about this and the DMV officer advised me that the wrong paperwork had been submitted and that the dealership should fix it. The one time someone is there that can talk to me when I called to ask about this, the lady, Samiel (sp?) told me the DMV officer didnt know what she was talking about regarding the wrong paperwork being submitted and that I could just go in and transfer the tag myself. So after several more attempted phone calls of no one being available, I literally shelled out the extra taxes, got the plates switched. I then decided to wash my hands of this place and ordered the molding part myself from Buick and will have it installed next week. I did receive one call back, but my phone only rang one time and when I called back, I got the answering machine.Heres the thing that aggravated me, the owner offered to get the molding part. I didnt ask him to. If he hadnt mentioned getting it at dealer cost I would have just ordered it myself a lot sooner and been done with it. My word of advice if you deal with them is make sure when you leave there, you have everything you need. They are terrible at communication once you leave their lot.

Im from South Carolina, called and made a deposit on an 07 Lincoln navigator after we made an agreement. Was gonna drive 4 hours to pick it up, and decided to call Wednesday to pay the balance off. Thats when I found out the Navigator was sold the day before, nothing was said to me about returning my money or anything. Now I have to wait two weeks for the owner to come off vacation before I can get my money back.

My husband and I drove five and half hours to purchase a 2008 Land Rover. I had been communicating with Luis for a week via email on this vehicle. I was told it was in immaculate condition and no mechanical issues were present. We placed a thousand dollar deposit to hold the vehicle, processed our loan, and drove the distance with a cashiers check in hand. Upon arrival, it was clear the vehicle had not been described honestly. There were dings along the sides and chipped paint, the tires needed to be replaced, and the most concerning of all...the entire dash panel was not functioning. No odometer, no speedomoter, no gas gauge...nothing. Not only is it illegal to sell a vehicle without a fully functional odometer, but I wonder how long this thing had not been operational and if the mileage advertised was even accurate. Luis tried to act like he had no knowledge of this issue, but finally relented and said he thought it had resolved itself and began working again. Our deposit was refunded and we left to drive another five and a half hours home without the vehicle. I had to have the loan reversed, paid two hundred dollars for the rental car we had planned to turn-in upon picking up our vehicle, and was out two hundred bucks in gas. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wouldnt trust anything that comes out of their mouths. They are dishonest and falsely advertise their vehicles. STAY AWAY from this place unless you want to get ripped off!

We spoke with the lady all day about a certain truck we were interested in, and discussed our budget for a down payment as well as a monthly payment. She seemed to really want to help so we drove 2.5 hours away and as we were pulling in, she was pulling out in the truck. The guy said she went to put in gas, then about 10 or more minutes later she drove back by us. After being gone longer than it should have taken to get gas, we see her pulling out from the garage next door. When she pulls up in the truck she said Sorry, I had to get gas which we thought was odd since she pulled away from the garage after driving a good 20 minutes. We begin the paperwork and my husband takes it for a drive an he then notices that the 4 wheel drive is locked in the truck and was making a noise. She NEVER mentioned this to us. He begins to check it out and they make a deal since its something he thinks is easily replaced. He goes back the following day to pick up the truck and he drives 10 minutes down the road and the check engine light comes on and it starts acting funny so we have to go back 2.5 hours one way to pick up this truck on a trailer and pull it home. After taking the wheel off, pieces literally start falling off everywhere and its worse than we thought. We spend around $600 just to get the truck right. Then we get the paperwork stating that while financing through them they added $5,500 onto the truck price. After I plainly asked the price wont go up $5,000 through your financing will it? And to my surprise it goes up more! THEN our payment was told a certain price (hence, why we decided to go for the truck after telling her a certain price for payments) now our payments are $80+ more a month than we were told they would be. Im furious with this company, there is NO WAY they did not hear the noise while driving the truck, they obviously had the check engine light turned off at the shop while getting gas and had to drive so many miles for it to all be in check for the test drive. Fyi I have never left a review anywhere like this, but at this point its ridiculous for that many things to happen in one sale.

Absolutely horrible. Literally your greatest fear of doing business with a small, used car dealer. Sold us a cheap car because we were in a tough spot financially. Unbeknownst to us the cars fuel pump was bad and had been bad for a very long time. The part had been malfunctioning for so long that it ruined multiple other expensive components leading all the way to a destroyed catalytic converter and a couple other exhaust components. After owning the car for 2 weeks the car broke down. The repairs were more than the value of the decade old car. Midtown motors is stone cold and would not help us at all. Constantly said they would get back to us and never returned our call one, single time. We followed up with them and attempted to use their shady warranty, which covers essentially nothing, to no avail. Also, the tailgate of the vehicle was broken and the salesman made a verbal agreement with me that Midtown Motors would repair the tailgate. Once Midtown Motors found out how expensive the tailgate repair would be their salesmen called me and told me they would not actually fix it because it would be bad business and hurt their profits. Unbelievably bad customer relations and unbelievably evil business practices.

Be aware, if you want a car from them take it to a good mechanic before you purchase.Should have gone with my gut and skipped the car.Only had the car a couple of months.Told them it was making a wired noise, their mechanic said there was nothing wrong with it. Said that was just how cars sound.Sound got worse and took it to a local mechanic and a major dealership and it only took them a few min to know what was wrong.Once I was able to see and hear it when it was off the ground, I knew exactly where the sound was coming from and could tell by looking at it, it was bad.Its the rear differential in my 2010 Mitsubishi outlander GT with 100,000 on it.Their warranty doesnt really cover the powertrain.I already paid more for the car than I wanted and now Im looking at 2,500 on repairs.They are not really willing to do anything about it.

Please please please stay as far away from this dealership as possible they’re very crooked very shady and they tried to scam you out of any money they can. I am so dissatisfied with the service it’s unbelievable I bought my car August 13 and August 23 the car broke down I did not know what happen I could not figure out at the moment what it was I try to call them they were no help whatsoever they just gave me the number of the credit company I was with and turned away. I on my own had to figure out how everything worked and tow the car back-and-forth to auto care center‘s until I eventually took it to Hyundai themselves. Come to figure out that when I was buying the car I gave $2500 down and $1600 of that was put into a extended warranty which the sales man have told me came with the car but did not told me that he was purchasing . Midtown motors did call me and was trying to get me to take the car to them to fix, but if you think about it, the warranty that they themselves bought and got commission from would’ve paid them to fix the the car. I could go on and on about other things they have done like having me give them $250 for the car taxes but they only paid 118 and when I tried to confront them about it they Basically said that I had no proof and that he didn’t give me a receipt for that money that I put in his hands. To this date October 4 I still do not have the car and I am still paying for it because they refused to give me another car or to cancel the contract.

0 stars if I could. I’m a marine in Camp Lejeune, drove 2 hours to get this car. Paint wasn’t described as it was, still got the car and as I drive home one headlight went out. Called back to ask is there anything he could help with and he said yeah call Monday because no it was a Friday I got the car and he ignored my calls. So I fixed it myself, then got a hold of him to mail the plates to a new address and he said yeah he will, didn’t ask about the car at all and still mailed it to the other address instead. Have tried to get a hold of him over and over again and he ignores my calls. Car also has some other problems I didn’t notice like a cracked windshield, passenger door doesn’t lock, and recently had a bad diverted valve. My first real purchase so maybe I didn’t look as good as I should but, he was a big help until I left the lot with the car then he just ignored me. Lame guy

Typical car dealer. Tells you everything is fine, but my mistake to not have car checked, do not believe what they say. I purchased 2006 cls 500, and was assured up and down car was in excellent shape. Not so car had valve cover gasket leaks, and has oil filter housing gasket leak. And warranty was,only for powertrain and nothing else.

Mind you I just got the car Feburary 24 2018 and all this has happened since then. The car was advertised for $5500 on their website but when I looked at my paperwork they had added $3000 making the price of the car almost $9000 which to me the car wasnt worth that much and had me owing the finance company $13,000 for a 2007 vehicle with almost 200,000 miles 🤬🤬. They are overcharging ppl for their cars and selling cars without at least fixing some issues that exist. God dont like ugly and these ppl will get whats coming to them for doing wrong to hardworking ppl. Let me just add this to my list of repairs a broken rod in the motor which pretty much means the motor is GONE!! But anyway I called the finance company and told them to pick that car up cause it was junk and now Im stuck with whatever balance is left over from the car loan 😡😡😡🤬🤬 And for yall to comment saying that I agreed to the terms of the loan and payments thats a lie cause none of that was even discussed to me yall saw that I was distracted with my 2 year old and took that opportunity to scam me with the price of the vehicle and yall took most of my down payment and paid for a useless 24 month warranty that I didnt ask for...I didnt have any paperwork from the finance company saying what I would owe on the car until weeks later...but like I said Midtown Motors sells lemons and they scam people out of their money and yall business will not last long for what yall are doing

We initially purchased a Ford Expedition SUV but there was a problem with the transmission that immediately became apparent after we drove the vehicle home. The vehicle was sold As Is but the management of this dealership (e.g. Louis) was awesome and did not do us dirty (e.g., they did not simply say it was our problem and that I we should seek a repair through the after market warranty company that was included with the sale). Louis and his staff apologized for the issue and inconvenience and gave us a full refund the next business day. I would do business with them again -- they are a standup and honorable business! I purchased an 2008 crv. It was the best deal i got when i inquired across clayton & raleigh. Louis was particularly very helpfull and the owner was very good too. Windows was not working and as promised they ordered the part and got it fixed with no cost.Would definitely recommend this business

Very responsive to emails, smaller lot, as is typical on smaller lots little over priced. Found their cars online so that was nice. We did drive couple of hours to see 3 cars, 3 different lots. Did not make a deal, even with cash. They do charge 399$ for paperwork, which was waved for the suv we were interested in, which is good because I would never ever make a deal involving paperwork charges, that is a south thing. Found nothing remotely interested in all the surrounding lots. We probably went to 10 lots while waiting for the suv to be test-driveable. Since they knew we were coming it was frustrating because of how far we drove and it wasnt ready. That really messed us up at looking at the other cars. The car wasnt ready for hours and they knew a week or two before we were coming and made specific arrangements for a specific day and time. I would peak back, still looking. Going to an auction tonight. Fyi, they did call me upset about the review, saying it was wrong, wanting me to change it. I gave my number to talk about cars not to be called if they didnt agree with my review, so I highly did not appreciate that

**Do Not Buy a Car from this place** Im not happy to write this type of review but its needed. This place is very dishonest. I bought this car on 1-19.18 from the time I got this car I had to take it back 4 times. They had me work with a mechanic who in my opinion is not qualified to be called a mechanic, because there is no way if I kept bringing the car to them to fix an issue still remains. I believe there is an issue with the axle, Im driving around in an unsafe car and they had the nerve to remind me this week that I can not bring the car back because the owner said he has done all he is willing to do, which is baffling to me because the two issues they were supposed to fix they never fixed. The other thing is they are very dishonest, Im working with an attorney to see how I can either get out of this deal and get my money back because the car list price was $4,995.00, when she processed the deal the price changed to $69995 which I have paperwork to reflect all this. The purchase cost with tag and titled showed up as $6958.82 but when we get to the last page of the document they had me sign which they kept is showing a price of$15,049.00. Im contacting Diane Wilson with WTVD the troubleshooter as well as an attorney I was referred too to see what my options are....They sell overpriced, and unreliable cars do not waste your time and energy at this place.

Jan 22, 2019 on my way to my 1st day of work with my new employer! The salesman never submitted the warranty paperwork (as promised). NOW my brand new lemon needs a brand new engine and Im stuck with the ENORMOUS mechanics bill!
