I came here with several issues that popped up. In a short time Tim the mechanic had it fixed with just a singular solution. Price was great and the time it took was even better! For the 2+ years I’ve had my Mustang I’ve been bringing it to the dealership I bought it from for all work. That place sent me running for hills and also incorrectly installed breaks. Got my car looked at to travel more states, not only did he fix the problem he showed me what to look for showing me my belt and concerns to teach myself. His wife and everyone made me feel home very welcoming and a trustworthy place.

These people are very professional. I took the car sometime ago for oil change and they ran a diagnosis. The car had a very strong smell and they found oil was dripping. They did a great service. Adriana the owner is great.

Adriana and the Honka team literally saved our family vacation.My family and I were in Clearwater for a vacation, and, unfortunately, our AC went about halfway into a 6-hour trip. I was so apprehensive about having it looked at so far from home and in such a touristy area, but I knew I needed to try to have it repaired before we returned home. I called and spoke with Adriana right when they opened the next morning and she asked me to get the vehicle to the shop within the hour. She helped me arrange transportation back to our house rental and let me know what was going on every step of the way. They let me know the blower motor was bad and tested all of the other electrical components to make sure it was just the motor. She was able to track down a new motor locally and had our vehicle fixed by 1pm that afternoon. Very straightforward and honest. Im so thankful for people like Adriana and her husband and couldnt recommend anyone more. Honest and kind people who are truly in it to help their customers. Thank you Adriana and the Honka team!

Was coming in town for a much needed vacation from Tennessee which was around a 12hour trip. Naturally, the last hour of me and my wife’s journey to clear water beach, my truck started making a grinding noise on the front driver side wheel base. I googled shops in the immediate area. Honka, showed up as the closest and clearly the highest rated option. Called in for an appointment and dropped my truck off. Mrs Adriana then drove me and my wife back to our hotel. Once the truck was finished (all same day, turned out being the wheel bearing) she called and had her son come to pick us up to retrieve our truck. Was the quickest and best service I have ever received from a shop. Did not push to have other things “fixed” or sell other services. Very friendly. Highly would recommend. If you are from out of town like we were and need to have your vehicle looked at, I absolutely recommend them.

I have been coming here for years, I have a 2002 car. Tim always finds a way to repair it. They always do much more than just fixing the issue at hand. They use good quality parts which saved me once, as parts and labor were under warranty and they replaced it right away. When I pick up my car after a repair, it drives much better and I always notice other things that needed to be fixed that have been taken care of. Nice people, great customer service, knowledgeable professionals. They are not the cheapest in town but theyre not expensive either and they really repair your car in a timely manner. What more could you possibly ask for?

For years we have been bringing our cars to Honka for maintenance and repairs. They are friendly and always deliver very good service at a decent price. Especially Tim is a very competent and skilled mechanic and spot on with his diagnosis. He tells you what is wrong with your car and is able to fix what ever it needs. But if nothing is really wrong he also tells you and lets you go free of charge, which is very unique nowadays. Or if your car is older, he doesnt talk you into doing any and all repairs, but gives you a good idea what should be done and what is more a luxury to fix but not totally necessary to keep your car driving nicely. Honka definitely delivers honest service and I am happy we have them!

This mechanical workshop is a tremendous blessing, the attention, quality and service is super professional and friendly. Its owner is a beauty of person, my husband fell in love with the service and her way of being, we fixed the two cars at once. I was in town for a couple of days and I needed service on my A/C. They fixed the problem and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend Honkas to anyone in the area. The customer service was good as well.

Was told by one repair shop that I needed either a replacement used engine, a rebuilt engine or a new engine — ranging in price from $3 to $6,000.I called the dealership where I bought the car and they quoted me $2,100 to repair the engine.Then, I read a good number of reviews here and took my car down to get looked over and engine tested. Tim, the chief mechanic then showed me what was wrong.$600 later, I had a new radiator, a new thermostat, several coolant flushes done and the car was very happy and completely back to normal.I would like to say that I highly recommend Honka Auto Repairs. But that would not be correct. I VERY highly recommend them.

Very honest and professional people. I went in today thinking I needed a new alternator, but turns out it was only a problem with the battery cables. Adriana at the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. She called me right away and told me what was actually wrong instead of just replacing the alternator and taking my money. I just moved to Clearwater from Boston. On the drive down my ac stopped working, I looked around at different auto places in the area and Honka had really good reviews so I gave them a call. Adriana, the owner is so nice and understanding, she even drove me home and picked me up while my car was being worked on.Tim was the mechanic who worked on my car, he’s awesome! I was in search of a new Auto Repair Shop in Pinellas County, FL.There are a lot of shops here, however, they are NOT ALL GOOD! I decided to get an estimate from Honka Automotive, based on the solid 5 Star Reviews they have! People are defiantly right! I went to the Shop, met the owner (Adriana) and worked with the Tech (Tim) to order the Part brands I wanted installed in my Truck. He installed a new Timing Belt, Water Pump. Seals etc. Also new Spark Plugs, and He fixed my A/C Problem!Also, he made some good recommendations, but was not pushy about fixing anything extra, unless I wanted him to.I am very picky about who works on my Truck! He did a Great Job on the repairs, and was extremely neat inside and out! After I picked the Truck up, I couldnt even tell that someone worked on my vehicle. I never had this good of an experience with any shop! If you are like me, GO HERE PEOPLE! You wont be disappointed! Honka, you have a customer for life! Thank You Guys!!!!

We had some trouble with our vehicle on the drive down for vacation. After looking at google reviews we decided to try Honka. We are so glad we did. Adriana was so pleasant to deal with and helped us out so much. The service and price was great! We would highly recommend them!

This place is amazing. I took my car to different place and they changed the oil did a transmission filter and gasket change and a full inspection. They told me I needed differential work. brake fluid flush, oil cooler lines replaced and my seals were leaking. I went to Honka because my transmission was leaking and they did a full inspection. I found out I didnt need any of that work the previous mechanic told me I needed and actually took the time to show me. The tightened up my transmission pan but showed that it wasnt properly done and I should go back to the previous mechanic to fix but honestly Id rather pay the extra money to have them do it. They were very honest, fast and completely upfront about everything.I am making them my go to place from here on out and highly recommend them for anyone in need of a good mechanic.

Very honest, fast and fair prices!

I have used Honka on and off for years. Now my choice is always Honka because of a bad experience I had with another mechanic to save money. The other so called mechanic actually cost me much more than it would of cost me had I stayed with Honka besides almost destroying my van. Tim their veteran mechanic always solves my vehicle problems. He never recommends anything that I dont need. He does the job quickly avoiding unnecessary delays. He is very experienced. When I tried the other mechanic he didnt criticize me for making a bad choice, but instead welcomed me back. The owners Adriana and Luis are very fair and competitive price wise. If I disagree with a price they always they do what is fair for me the customer and what is fair for the business; a win win situation. Adriana or an available mechanic will pick me up and bring me home if the job takes more than an hour and is my choice of action. Everyone that works their is very pleasant. I dont know what I would do without Honka.

I Called to see how much to have the computer reset in car. I changed the starter and it was now cutting out engine when I turn on the ac. The ac work fine before changing starter.When I called The lady at the counter she said no connection between the starter and ac after changing the starter. Its not the computer its the ac. We can run test on ac.I told her no. The ac working fine. It worked before the starter was changed. It’s just something with the computer communication that needs to be resetLady insisted I didn’t know what i was talking about and wanted me to bring in car to be looked at for $50 plus whatever to fix it. when I knew exactly what it was already. I didn’t need to run testI decided because I knew what was wrong with car to watch video on YouTube about resetting computer in car after working on car so all components reactivate and reprogram properly.I tried it myself and it worked I don’t know much about car but reallyLady. If I can figure it out and fix car it’s not that hard to figure outResult. My ac works and does cut out engine anymore. This lady doesn’t know what she is talking about and are rip offs. They don’t listen to customers and they do what they want and charge you money for doing things that are not necessarily needing to be doneGo back to school and get educated lady.

Gave great fast service, diagnosed my car, told me everything that was happening and why and since they couldn’t find a direct problem (lack of knowledge from former repair) they charged me a small amount rather than the full diagnostic price since they found nothing wrong. Great customer service

This is the second time I have taken my Jeep Wrangle in for a service. Rick was great. He took great care of my vehicle, calling me with estimates of a leak I had informed of. The car works great now, no leaks. They advertise being honest, and that is what I have experienced. This is not a franchise trying to make corporate profits, but a private little neighborhood repair shop you can trust.

I had break issues with my car. Was heading to another shop when I happened to drive pass Honka Auto Repairs. The sign actually says Honest Auto Repairs. Let me just say that the experience after visiting this shop was top notch. Ive had very bad experiences with crooked mechanics in the past. And Honest Auto Repairs is truly a shop that mirrors its name. The Manager was extremely courteous and helpful. And I did not feel like I was once ever being swindle out of my hard earned money.Its very rare that many people ever feel good about their mechanic but I could most gladly say that I felt great about this shop and especially the people that work there. I was very glad to give them my money. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future.

Ive recently moved to Largo FL from California and needed a good mechanic. Two different people told me Charlie at Honka Auto Repairs was good. So I thought he would be a good choice.We took in my husbands Toyota Tacoma truck because it was making a funny noise. Charlie figured out what was wrong with it. A belt was loose and slipping. He replaced the belt, and now the truck sounds great and drives smooth.The price was very reasonable. Ill be bringing my other car back to Charlie at Honka Auto.

Very professional, and honest. Recently moved to Clearwater 4 years ago. And went through several mechanics until Ive found HONKA I have a lifted truck with bigger tires. And took it to 3 different shops to get hub barings replaced. That would wear out in months. Tim is the only one that fixed it properly and have had no issues. Ive even dropped of for service. And they told me it was a minor repair so there would be no charge. You cant find anyone more honest! I have 4 vehicles and every one of them will go to honka if needed.

After being a loyal take it to the dealer for repairs kind of guy, I felt that I was not getting the best service at my dealer. So after checking out the reviews for Honka Auto Repair in Google, I decided to take my Mazda in for some badly needed attention. Will is very personable and was concerned with my problem and took the time to explain all that I needed to know before proceeding with the repairs. I felt like I got much more personalized and caring service taking my car to Honka Auto Repair. Besides, they are really close to where I live so that was another added bonus. A clean waiting room/service desk area and shop also help make you feel that this is a well run business. My car runs great now too! Good Job! I have used them for several repairs as well as regular maintenance. Still getting great service! They are keeping my 15 years old cat running smoothly!

I was terrified when my check engine light came on and my car was sputtering. I rolled into this shop at about 1 pm and I was home with a fixed car by 4:30. They were so nice and will have any of my future business.

I had a great experience here! The staff were both professional and courteous. I have used them twice now since the ownership change. The first time I thought my alternator had gone out. I was prepared to pay well over $300 for the repair. Their mechanics found that it was only a bad connection with the battery cable. The repair was less than $50.
