Tom’s an Fbody wizard. He’s helped me out, hooked it up, and lent an ear to offer guidance. Excellent work and one of the most knowledgeable guys in his field. This shop is good people. Don’t let the fake reviews fool you. This is a 5 star shop.

Its rare that I find a shop I trust. Many bad experiences over the years has led me to get into my own repair and mod work. New job doesnt allow me as much time as I used to have though. Tom, the owner, is one of the most genuine mechanics Ive met. Their pricing was right on par with what I was expecting, and they took care of some extra stuff on short notice without charging me a ton of extra money, and they didnt make a fuss. If youre a gear head or classic car owner, and need work done at a local speed shop, these are your guys. Solid work, and good pricing.

My 1st time in this shop to get some work done on my Trans Am, was a good experience.Tom took the time to listen to the issues I was having with my car, instead of doing what some places do where someone writes it down or tries to explain it to someone else, and the problem(s) get lost in translation, where they never really get solved or fixed. Tom listened!From there Tom gave some input about what the problem could be, and gave me an idea of what it would cost to repair each issue(s) with each scenario (so I at least had an idea of what I was looking at as far as repairs).When Tom was able to find the problem that was causing the issues, he took the time to call me and explained what he found, and gave me a good estimate of what the cost would be at the end.When the repairs were done, Tom explained everything he did on my car, and even pointed out a few things to watch out for in the future after he did a safety check on my car while it was in the shop.Tom is a first class mechanic, and is now my go to shop and I would recommend him and his shop to anyone that needs work done on their vehicle(s).

All talk but couldn’t figure out how to repair my car, wasted my time. I rather Tom tell the truth than get my hopes up for nothing. Also takes days to return calls.

The owner Tom is a big rip off. He double charged me and refused to refund. He is dishonest and rude. He also has people working on the cars that have little experience. He told me it would take 1 month to repair my car and it ended up taking 5 months and never took responsibility. I’ve had many problems with this guy.

Every time my cars have an issue I’m able to get prompt service at a fair price. Tom not only fixed my immediate problems but also let me know what might pop up in the future. He’s done everything from simple oil changes, to diagnostics, to replacing parts and his work has never been less than perfect. Even though the shop is usually busy, Tom is able to get my car back to me within a couple of days. I can’t say enough positive things about him and his work.

Tom the owner mechanic is a really good guy and he knows his stuff when it comes to high performance cars and trucks. The guy has lots of experience on cars trucks and engines. He is very fair mechanic and goes out of his way to help his customers. I can say hes good people

Ive finally found my go-to shop for my Z28 Camaro! Tom is the man, and he really does take care of his customers. Ive had a few jobs done by him so far and its been all smiles. Hes extremely knowledgeable and helped me with lots of decisions when it came to my build.High recommend!

When other shops wouldnt touch because it wasnt a $100k corvette, Tom said that we dont do that around here. Tom is a very friendly, professional that took care of my needs and highly recommended! Go see Tom!

Very hard to find an honest mechanic, but Tom is just that. My dealer quoted me for a repair that didnt even need to be performed. I wouldve been $700 out of pocket, had it not been for Toms honesty and expertise!

This was by far my best experience with any mechanic in the Tampa Bay area. I did a transmission swap on my Genesis Coupe that was butchered by a different mechanic. Needless to say I brought my car halfway done but would require a lot more work than it should. Tom turned it all around, he took care of all the minor issues that came due to the bad work done on the car and charged me less than I paid for the half-done job. I had to move out of town but if Im ever back anywhere near Tampa, I know Im taking my car to Tom at Pinellas Performance.
