Please be careful when making a purchase from Blvd Awning. I had purchased an awning 3 yrs ago with a 10 yr warranty. The stitching started falling apart after 3 yrs. The company came out and proceeded to tell me I must have gotten something on it, it was a limited warranty and the THREAD, the sewing and construction was not covered! It is on the second story and nothing at all had been sprayed or applied to it. I waited for the company to give me an estimate to replace the awning and they gave me NO discount at all to replace it. They even seemed like they were doing me a favor to come out to do the job.I decided to call other awning companies and get estimates. As soon as they saw the awning they told me the thread was DEFECTIVE and they had changed the thread because of this. They would have replaced it due to this known problem.I am a widow and was shocked to see the way this company handled this.I hope you take my experience into consideration when you are making this large of a purchase. For a company to not stand by their product and to try and blame the homeowner when they clearly knew this was a defect in the materials used should make you consider using a different company.
Drivers like to cut you off in stop and go traffic. Metal overhang not even strapped down.
