Like others, we went boat shopping in the middle of the lock down here in St Pete Beach, FL. We hit all the big dealers but knew we had a match when we started working with Eric Aruffo. We literally fell in love with a new EdgeWater 230cc - with so many clever design features. But there just wasnt much inventory (also due to the factory closing for a couple months). So we put in an order and just received our new boat, Liquidity! Eric and the whole team were simply great at their jobs. And Eric would call me day or night to answer my myriad question.Look, if youve got to go through the process which can be daunting, make sure you go visit Eric and his cohorts. Its an experience you wont regret!

I had purchased a new 2017 Regal 28 footer so much I felt it was time to step up. Not sure what I wanted I came across a Carver from 2004. I felt it was diesel and as long as it was kept up well, why not. Well, since I only knew how to be treated after buying a new boat, my boat broker reminded me I would be on my own and to not expect the local dealer to service me like I bought the boat from them. Well, this broker was (not the first time) wrong again because he obviously didnt know the Tom George group. I happened to stop in and meet Steve the owners son one night in the showroom. He made it a point to introduce me to his dad Steve and they made it clear, whatever I may need to call them, they would try to do anything I needed whenever the time came. Well I called once or twice later on and came across Chrissy who has a smile you can hear a mile away. So genuine. Once I read her my HULL ID I was now IN the system. If I need anything, they know my boat and knew how to research anything, anytime. I have to say, whenever I call they treat me like they knew me for years. Bit Chrissy, she is the voice. So real and then I just met her for the 1st time at the St Pete Show, I had to thank her for just being her. I have to say, my biggest problem with my Carver is trying to replace it. From the moment I got the boat I replaced the ac in the boat because it was origional. I am a realist. Certain items will need to go and I didnt want to rish a hot summer day. I re did the dash down to the wheel. It looks, and feels like a new boat and I just love it. I am a maint buff and have a local mechanic...Derek Gallo from Volvo is a phone call away for parts as they are needed and I have the greatest mechanic ever. He is promt and honest and so caring. You can tell he takes great pride in making sure I am enjoying his work. if I start something to get fixed, he always has my best interest in mind and finances. I push him to get ahead of cycles and he sometimes reminds me that doing certain steps too soon is not always smart. So I have put on approx 400 hours a year in the last 2 years I have owned her and besides running agound slowly and mis achoring and breaking a few changes, ALL SELF INDUCED, my issues that have come up were my own and caused by me. Whatever I do need, I know I am covered between Chrissy at Tom George, Derrek at Detroit Diesel who drives 1.5 miles to hand deliver whatever I need, my detailer washes and waxes my boat every month, my boat is covered. I am lucky to have a dealership like Tom George as well as my Regal team in Quality. I bought the first boat new form them. I expected great service and got it. I bougfht the Carver from Galatti with a less than favorable experience but met Tom George team and I coudlnt be happier. Thanks everyone for kiving your industry, it shows.

I only did service work and Jay was very helpful he also gave me cracked information and made our job go well I would suggest anybody that needs service or needs to buy a boat come here well take very good care of you have a great yachting day

Have 2 Everglades boats and called here to get parts. I gave up after the 4th call. Left 3 messages for Lindsey as well as talking to her once. She said she would call back but never did. Cant imagine Everglades would want this kind of representation for their company myself. Will definitely use another dealer for our next boat purchase if we ever buy new.

From sales to service and the finance dept... they answered every question and treated us like we were special even though they sell much bigger boats to other clients. I ordered a brand new Edgewater 370 from these guys and I’ve continually been impressed by the care and professionalism I’ve received. Everything I asked for and needed was done in a correct and timely manner. I highly recommend them when purchasing a new/used boat or with needing service. They took care of my older boat’s service and sale as well and again, the care was impeccable. Thanks to the entire staff, especially Dusty who handled me for 4 or 5 years before I made the order. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with everyone at TGYG. Jimmy Rogers listed my boat and we had a contract within 5 days, actually much faster than expected. This left me with little time to find my new vessel. I found myself torn between the 33 Boston Whaler Outrage and the 335 Everglades CC. Richard Murbach found me the perfect new boat (2019 Everglades) and both of these guys went out of their way to help us make a tough decision pretty easy. My wife and I tested both boats and agreed that the Everglades had a higher quality feel and more solid ride than the Whaler...but price as a bit of an issue. The Whalers were all 2018s (lots of unsold leftovers from last year) which gave them more flexibility on price. Richard and Jimmy not only went to Tom to make things happen, they also got Everglades involved as well. Took delivery of our new 335 Everglades last week! We are confident we made the right choice and know we got a great deal! On a side note, lifts are pretty scarce at the local marinas...they are letting us use the TGYG boat lift at Marker 1 until one becomes available in Dec. Now THATS going above and beyond!

TGYG did not disappoint 5 Star experience. The whole team did a first class job handling our purchase. Hat’s off to Sam her communication was incredible from the first call all the way thru delivery of our new boat. She was always informative, honest and prompt with any questions we had. My overall experience with this dealership has been excellent. Working with Eric has been very easy from the beginning, and he has been very accommodating. The actual sale process was admittedly difficult at one point when the sales manager became involved for a possible trade-in but I guess thats just the process. Lets just say, the trade-in process didnt work out. Overall, I am very pleased with my Edgewater 208cc and the friendly service at TGYG. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality boat.
