Easy in out gas and convenient store

I dont mind this place. The restrooms are kinda dirty. Loved when the Jarritos slush was there, now that machine doesnt even work

This is the gas station and convenience store that I always go to. With the mask mandates in place and the signs all over the front door Etc I have felt pretty comfortable going in. This morning I noticed two gentleman going in without masks on. I keep extras in my car so I got two out of the brand new packet and took them in with me to offer to the people. One man was making himself a hot dog from hot dog bar without a mask on and I offered him one. He said no thank you he didnt believe in it and he was not going to get sick so he was not going to wear masks. He was really rude so I left him alone and walked over to the other person that was in line and gave him a mask which he did take and put on no problem. I offered the lady behind the counter the extra mask that the first man did not take so they could have one behind the counter for people that didnt wear a mask into the store. She said her policy was to not tell people to wear one because she didnt want any people to fight about it!! As I got the things I needed to buy in the store I noticed two other guys come in without masks on. These people were apparently friends of the lady behind the counter because they were yelling at her across the store telling jokes to each other, one guy was hopping up and down while he loudly talked to her down the line before he got to her register Etc. I was very uncomfortable the whole time I was in there and even though I originally stopped to get gas in my van (and was planning to spend over $50 doing that because it was almost on empty), I decided not to spend my money here. I stop here at least two or three times every day as do my parents because we do like their fountain drinks LOL. We wont be doing that anymore and I certainly wont be spending money on gas here again. The other woman behind the counter at the other register was also not willing to tell them to put on a mask. Neither was the woman working in the food area in charge of keeping the food safe! Thorntons you can do better and I would ask you to have your employees follow your corporate rules so you dont lose more money or God help us the life of someone that works there because of getting infected.

Tested the E-85 here in April 2021 timeframe and it came out to 90% !

Have been a customer since they opened this location. I have never had an unhappy experience. The grounds and store are always acceptably clean. The staff always seem happy and welcoming.Today I bought gas and neglected to pump it into my car. Didn’t realize it until I arrived home. I called and the nice lady with the mask on said, “ Don’t worry about it honey, we get plenty of dottering old fools who don’t know the difference in the strains of their medication and when they wander away without their gasoline, we just credit their cards back for the charge.”I chuckled and said to myself, I like this joint. I will get the gas tomorrow.

Need to have your diesel pumps repaired and working like they should they are very slow and they are always like this they are the slowest ones in the county other than that nice service nice store

The inside of this Thorntons needs a major clean. They use blue lights in the bathroom to cover up the complete unsanitary nature of the bathroom.Big overhaul is needed to make it usable.

My favorite gas station locally to me. The parking lot never has trash on it, the inside of the store if remarkably clean, and the employees are very friendly. Once you go a few times and they will great you when you walk in and actually have a genuine conversation with you while you are checking out.

I went to the Thorntons in Clearwater on Gulf to Bay at 1:30 this afternoon. There were seven people on line. There was a very pleasant woman waiting on customers and a second worker first on the phone and then counting cigarettes. A gentleman ahead of me couldnt decide on which lottery scratch to buy and it took a long time but as long as the cigarettes got counted..

Love this gas station. Sign up for rewards program! Great employees, helpful and personable. 100% sold on the chewing ice for drinks.

Clean and well kept up

I usually try to avoid this store, but the coffee is decent.The music is SO DEPRESSING!!!!If the goal is to clear the place out, theyre doing an amazing job.

Gas prices are great but prices in store usually ring up incorrect and employees never apologize. I have been there dozens of times for fuel and almost every time I try to purchase something inside it comes up with price inflated. Watch your purchases closely.

Love the crew day and night always great me with a smile and their prices are much better than the alot of the surrounding stores.. My hats off to the crew everyone there is doing a great job!! Keep up the good work. However this needs to be said. Today is February 1st in the time is 11:35 and I am sitting here at the Thorntons located in Clearwater on Gulf to Bay Boulevard and I had just stopped to park because there was some issues I had to deal with with my phone and I didnt want to be texting while I was driving and I wasnt bothering anybody I wasnt playing my music loud or anything I wasnt harassing anybody or panhandling I have a full-time job and I am a regular customer and a Thorntons card holder and Ive been coming to this location I have given it a very good review but this particular employee who is female an African American LaSknya contacted another employee about my parking here for a substantial amount of time and literally I have only been here for 45 minutes she sat there and told the other employee that I had been here all day I literally just got off of work Im in my uniform and I am very very offended because I have done nothing to interfere with their job or their place of business I have not harassed people Ive done nothing but stay in my car and try to figure out some things that were going on before I was going home and I dont appreciate being treated like some common homeless Junkie that hangs out here begging for money you know because thats exactly what Ive been treating like and it is very very disheartening to have that kind of rudeness bestowed upon me since Ive been a valued and loyal customer to Thorntons for quite some time and I dont appreciate the lack of compassion or the lies from this particular employee that was working Im know what her name is and I have expressed !complaints with her before about her attitude and her rudeness and I just dont appreciate it I could understand if I was harassing people or if I was doing something illegal or what not but I am just parking in a parking spot there are plenty of other parking spots available and I am not interfering with anybodys job and I think it is very sad that this employee this particular female employee took it upon herself to lie and say that Ive been here all day when I really hadnt and it is not safe to drive and text and play on your phone so I decided to pull over and I bought some cigarettes I want to side about a drink and I came back out here my car to finish what I was doing and like I said there are homeless people that hang out here all the time that they dont run off their homeless people that bug me all the time for money beg for money they stay up here they hang out at the store and the employees do not run them off and I dont understand what the problem is if Im just sitting here minding my own business you know especially after I already went and purchased items at the store and I really dont feel like I was treated as a preferred customer . The employee name is LaSonya I do not know her last name but I have spoken to other employees about her rude attitude towards me.. I work custom customer service I have over 15 years experience and the most key important aspect is to deliver the best service I can.. even if they are being rude I smile and wish the a good day but I do not harass my customers who stay parked in my job unless I ok observe them doing something illegal or dangerous which none of those things she had to worry about with me tonight. Im very very offended and I do not understand what her problem is because I have been nothing but nice to her and to all the employees who know me on a daily and nightly basis. But she has an attitude issue and this is unacceptable to me as a frequent shopper here at this location here. Also I have submitted and email to the corporate location about this incident and I will be calling the customer service come monday. Thorntons is still my favorite place to shop and Im changing and giving the store 5 stars back, but not for LaSonya

Clerk in my pic was breaking her back trying to get line down but it only got longer. After 10 min in line the second sales clerk comes out the back with her phone plugged to her ear. Good help is hard to find. Busy store. Clean . More than a few overcooked dogs on the grill.

Blonde fat old lady at night is very rude . wont greet yu ...makes yu feel as if your bothering her just by walkin in the store ...treats you as if your gonna steal a hotdog or something... Wont be coming back to this location . ive had better service at the circle k across the street...ill just be using WAWAS for my late night travels :)

I hate to write a negative review for this location because it’s clean and the staff is great but I’m so freakin sick of every gas station in Clearwater that doesn’t have proper AIR working. Last week, the machine charged my credit card twice and let the air out of my tires! Went down to 20psi. I asked the front desk lady what was the deal. She replied “IDK, hasn’t worked for a while. I put a sign on it but it blew off.” Try putting a trash bag over that piece of garbage! Bad enough you’re charging for AIR but it doesn’t even work.

Got kicked out of the store tonight because I guess blocking and stocking look like steeling. Doesnt surprise me the GM always gives me dirty looks and discriminates against all my tattoos. I have stocked stuff I needed and was out that workers should have done. I shop well shopped just about everyday asst this store since it opened. I will be contacting corporate soon as I wake up than Ill see if I need to call a lawyer after that! Discrimination is not cool,and Im not going to let someone treat me like that too. And to the A-Hole who kicked me out Tatue I think youre just a floater! Lost this customer and maybe gained a lawsuit!

Horrible.Thornton promo ever week buy one get one free chips. $4.29 the big bags.Anyways i bought lays salt n vinegar, bought doritos for my nephew.About 10 minute later driving back to the house, change my mind about the DoritosAsked for a exchange to change the Doritos for pickle chips.Guy call someone over that works there.Muscly guys, Says we cant take them back.Guy say I dont know what you did to them.Say i cant accept because did know if i did something to them.bag was unopened with alot of air.This guy shouldnt be talking look like he on steroidsAlso when i went to get my salt n vinegar i got cut on the shelves on my finger. I dont know what cut me. I was bleeding bad.both hands cover in blood.
