I was feeling a bit bad about myself and needed a new look. My hair was in need. It was my first visit to Ulta Salon and my appointment was with Melissa. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Melissa for the past 5 years and I honestly won’t go to anyone else to get my hair done. She has amazing cutting and color skills for alternative hairstyles as well as more traditional styles. If you get your hair done by her I promise you, you will walk out very happy and fresh. Way to expensive!! The hair dresser wired me about 600 dollars to color my hair blue and purple, the color was not the expensive part, its the bleaching process, DONT THINK SO, WILL NOT GO BACK

Standard Ulta experience... I did purchase a product that had a free with purchase item and they actually had the free item in stock. That was a pleasant surprise. The store was clean, staff friendly, and I was able.to get everything I needed all in one trip.

My 14 year old daughter and I have both had a haircut by Melissa D and wow she is amazing. Not only is so so sweet and so cute but man is she smart! She took her time with my daughter helping her decide on her color and cut. She explained how certain colors would be to much damage and really worked with my daughter to get the look she wanted without damaging her hair. She styled my daughters hair and showed her how to do it.She has cut my hair twice and will be coloring it next week. My cut is so cute and I would of never even tried this look had she not suggested it. But I 100% love my haircut! Thanks Melissa you are the best!!!!

OH MY LORD, I hate going to ulta, its filled with women wearing stage makeup who are super pushy trying to shame you if you dont want to give them all your personal information. I HATE going there, Ulta is wayyyyy more friendly and helpful with out douche attitudes. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I visited this location for the first time in what feels like years and had a GREAT experience. We came really close to closing time (super rude, I know) and a tall blonde lady named Jillian??*** helped us. She was super kind and exceedingly helpful despite us being there so late. The rest of the staff was super sweet as well. Its always hit or miss with staff attitude at beauty places, but this location made me feel very welcomed. Ill be back more often now!

The only reason I go there is because of the expertise of Christine B. She knows skincare and she is an asset to Ulta at this time.

They have moved my hair color to a different section of the store. Other than that I like to shop here

I scheduled a last minute appointment with Melissa to have my hair trimmed and it was honestly one of the best salon experiences I have ever had. Melissa is SO SWEET and gentle! She definitely made me feel like I was hanging out with a friend and usually I am super shy/ anxious when having services done. She made me feel comfortable enough to say how I wanted something done and didn’t hesitate when I asked if she was able to style my super curly thick hair. My hair was so bad off when I showed up, I didn’t have a single strand of hair that didn’t have a split/dead end. She took the time the dust those off my hair before even starting the service, and asked if I wanted a deep conditioning to reset my hairs ph without making me feel obligated to say yes (which I’m so glad I did say yes!!). She also didn’t take too much length off my hair, it’s basically the same length which is something I usually worry about since it’s much easier to cut length off instead of taking the time to trim all the dead ends. I also must mention that she has angelic hands when it comes to the hair washing, I literally started dosing off lol. I left with so much confidence, not a single dead end in sight, 10x more knowledge on how to manage my crazy curls and with a new stylist I am going to regularly book with! It may have been a simple hair trim but she definitely made it feel like a luxury experience. It’s so refreshing to have a stylist that genuinely cares that you leave feeling great about yourself, if you couldn’t already tell I HIGHLY recommend Melissa!!!!

Good quality products and friendly staff. I am not a frequent visitor, I am only am in once every few months--typically for a specialty item, but I love exploring the store and I usually find what I need in stock. The prices can be a little high on products but the selection is wide and diverse.

Always has my favorite products in stock and love being able to order online and pick up same day. Associates are nice, helpful and friendly. Without being pushy or lingering over you.

Not super happy about this hair cut/trim & ‘no style, curl, or hairdryer’ but charged for it all! Really?! I was shocked! Something that should’ve cost about 20-25 cost 55 $ + tip. She said to come back Friday when you get your eyebrows done & I’ll put in some curls...😯🙄I do not agree with this at all!

I have come two times at this location staff were talking a lot i was waiting for someone to help me but nobody came nor noticed me and was never helped when i got there but there was other customers that as soon as they walked in they were greeted and rightway helped. Very disappointed.

They have liquid foundation makeup still in the clear plastic wrap from over a year ago before the coronavirus happened. When I asked if they will throw those old makeup containers away they said No, we will unwrap and use them still as our displays and samplers... Disgusting.

I recently got a new job, and I want to look nice on the webcam during this pandemic phase, and praying soon in the actual office...So I came to this ULTA, where I normally get my brows done, which I am always 100% happy with! I suggest going to see Gina if you are in need of a place to go, she is absolutely wonderful! Anyway, I am not a girly girl, needless to say, I know NOTHING about makeup! Lee is a Clinique Consultant that went above and beyond and helped me out with everything! She made me feel very comfortable, and answered all my questions. I think for women like me, who dont wear makeup a lot, it can be an intimidating process shopping for it, but Lee, made it very nice, and was a pleasure to work with. I am excited for my new look, and glad it was affordable as well! I highly recommend anyone needing help or beauty advice to go and see her! Thank you so much for the great experience in your store!

Items are a little pricey but you pay for the quality. They sell a lot of beauty products and hair products other stores dont offer.

I love this store. I have always been treated very nicely and have been offered help a lot. Every time I go in, no matter how I am dressed. Today I was in sneakers, shorts and a normal t-shirt and I was welcomed. Asked if I needed assistance, which I did. Was offered enough assistance, but it wasnt sales pushing. Especially coming from another store that I will not mention where I was ignored - I was very impressed. Unfortunately, the cap of the perfume that I bought today was broken, but I have a lot of faith that they will be able to exchange it. I will update you guys after I go in tomorrow to see if my opinions change.

Slightly frustrated this shopping trip. I have been searching for Murad skin perfecting lotion at this location and apparently they do not carry it.According to the management team I was offered another Murad product in its place stating they just have changed packaging . Good thing I know my facial regimen/products because what the management team tried selling was a cream not lotion (yes there is a difference) and proceeded to tell me that at least it has skin perfecting on the tube.I will take a look at Ulta Beauty on line for the correct product that I have been using for quite some time.Next time I will take the empty with me, apparently one needs to prove what they use on their face? What ever happened to the customer is always right?Dissatisfied with this shopping trip Ulta.

Sarah Fuentes, great products in the right hands! Being on a holiday in Florida, my friend recommended her expertise to me. Even though I will most likely be able visit her only once, I can say is that I am sincerely glad I went to visit her because her knowledge will last me a lifetime! Her sheltered Dermalogica-area provides a serene and relaxed atmosphere within the shop + she is very kind so youll feel at ease very very swiftly. Wish I could be in that chair two weeks or so! 10/10.

All I can say about Sarah is WOW! I went to the Skin Bar to get a 90 minute facial and it was the best decision I have ever made. Sarah is incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable and definitely a Master at her craft. She takes the time to study your skin and explain the best regimen for you. She actually got me to stick to a daily skin care routine, and thats huge! I will not go to anyone else for a facial. If you are thinking about giving your skin the attention it deserves look no further than Sarah. My skin is radiating and I couldnt be happier with the results Ive seen so far!

I came in today to buy some creams for my mom as a gift and SUSAN was my guardian angel. She helped me find the best products and was really nice and polite. She is beautiful and what makes her even more outstanding is her personality. Definitely coming back soon.

I recently moved away, but I wanted to make sure that I wrote an amazing review for Britt.She is the first hairstylist to has ever cut my curly hair right, my whole family would come to see her and we all love her because she can do all types of hair. When we told her that we were moving, she called the Ultas near my new place and talked to other hairstylists and found someone else to do our hair and told her all about us.I thought that it was amazing that she was able to do that for us, we’ve moved a couple of times and have never had a hairstylist care this much.

The wife loves them because they offer pretty much everything she wants as far as beauty products. I just hide my credit card before she shops and were both happy. Lol

I don’t usually take the time to complain about poor customer service, I just carry on with my day, but I had such a MISERABLE experience shopping at this Ulta location that I had to share.My friend and I arrived just before 9pm to finish some Christmas shopping, and were grateful to see that the store was open til 10 when we checked online. But when we arrived, we almost turned around and left, thinking the store was closed because there was an associate closing all of the shades in front of the store like they would at the end of the day. We decided to double check and were surprised when the door was unlocked.An associate power walked past us and said “hello” quickly and was gone. My friend and I both had to search for an employee to help us find the specific items we needed, though there were only about 3 other customers in the store. Once we finally found someone, we concluded after the fact that we had both been treated in the same rude and dismissive fashion.As we were checking things out, saying, “I wonder if these items are...(fill in the blank with any question) while there were several employees around, well within earshot in the quiet store, nobody made the slightest effort to assist us.I asked a question about pricing on an item, and when I said, “excuse me I have a quick question” the associate literally sighed aloud with aggravation.I was also told that the clearance price stickers posted directly below an item where it sat on the shelf was not actually accurate to the price of the item. Strange.Neither my friend nor myself have ever felt so absolutely disregarded by any store’s staff, As though we were an absolute nuisance to them because we came in an hour before closing and were done well before 10pm. We both only grabbed the essential items we needed and passed on making bigger purchases because we were so disgusted.I will not be returning to the Clearwater Mall Ulta

I had a haircut and highlights today by Britt. She did a fantastic job. My hair looked so much better than I could have imagined. She has a great personality. I highly recommend her, and will be going back soon.

I love, love, LOVE Sarah Fuentes in the facial bar at this location. She has helped nourish my face back to health from the hormonal craziness my skin went through during pregnancy and the dryness from breastfeeding. Now my skin looks how it did 11 years ago, pre-kids! She is very knowledgeable and respects your pockets. She genuinely cares about her clients. I recommend any and everyone to her.

While the selection is good...though they have discontinued selling MAC and had no testers of the new Anastasia foundation..I dislike shopping here strictly because you get attacked by the sales people asking if they can help...its endless and usually makes me rush out as quickly as possible. I get they need to make sales but that is not the way to do it.

I was looking for some makeup for a Christmas party I was going to. I met a lovely young lady named Christina. Her eye shadow was amazing and she had glitter on her eyelids. I asked her how she did it. She showed me several different products and even told me how to apply it. Just wanted you to know what a nice girl she was.

I love this Ulta!Elizabeth M Has been doing my curly, red hair for over a year. She has given me awesome bangs, tailors my hair to my length desires, and knows which products give my hair its most potential. She rocks! Britt stepped in once when Liz was sick, and she did an amazing job as well! Youre in great hands with both!Sarah F. does my microderm facials and I couldnt be more pleased! DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM HERE. some one randomly sent me one through mail. And they sent it to the wrong address. Never got my $100. Called 3 times, waited 20 minutes to talk to someone and they had no solution for me. Love it here but this experience just completely made me never wanna shop there again. And I’m a credit card holder!

Being a guy, walking into the store, sometimes with and sometimes without makeup, this is a fantastic location where Ive never not been helped to a degree that always delivers (literally thats an option). Yall should get paid more.

Love this place...its like a toy store for grownups. Its bright and clean, the consultant staff is friendly and there is a variety of brands and choices. They always have great specials and the makeup has testers!

The employees follow you around asking you if you need help if youre not dressed up. Its not an enjoyable experience to shop, and spend a lot of money at a company only to be treated like a criminal every time you shop in store. I was once asked 5 times if I needed help by 2 different employees. Wouldnt it stand to reason that if I needed help Id ask for it? Ill be paying off my credit card and shopping at sephora moving forward. Thanks but no thanks Ulta you are not a company I wish to continue to support.
