Always a Toys “R” Us kid. I remember the excitement I had coming here a kid. Even as I became older, really enjoyed getting video games here. Now I have my own kids and they only had a short time to grow their excitement for America’s last toy store.

This Toys R Us location is the only place in Clearwater that consistently stocks the LOL Dolls, so thats a big bonus. However, the store seems like its filled with a bunch of overpriced toys that can be found online for way less or the same price, but delivered. Id rate it higher, but many of my friends and family with kids dont choose Toys R Us as the first stop for toys. Its the last stop because toys are available everywhere and many times for less.

Went during liquidation 3/24/18.. everything is 5% - 20% off as of writing.I brought my 3yo son on one of his last visits to Toys R Us today. Ill surely miss coming to this store with him. My dad used to bring me as a child and it was darn near magical every time. RIP to one of the last toy stores. Now were left with Wal-Mart for in-person toy shopping :(

This location is shutting down now so they have a big sale 20 or 30% off on most things. upon walking in there my observation was this this place does not look as though they are closing, as all the shelves are fully stocked. Do you want a good deal at some good stuff hurry on down to Toys R Us

Its toys r us, it also has a babies r us in this store as well. The toys can be a bit pricey but your gona pay more for this kind of selection in one place. Great place to go if you need a specific toy and dont want to have to scour several stores looking for it.

Because they had what I neede

We went in to celebrate our sons birthday with our birthday club coupons and the staff was very friendly throughout the entire store. Staff would stop and wish him a happy birthday and actually chat with him. Def made him feel special and like they cared and they are sincere and happy with thier jobs.

Good store. Sad to see closing. Stock still pretty good. Discounts pretty basic at the moment.

Buyers beware.... we bought a 55.00 drone at the Tyrone toyrus got it home and it does not work... went to this location bought a 100.00 drone and opened the box and it was used. I called the manager and she stated that they do sell used things. Well ours was used! Not brand new! When we thought we were buying a brand new item. I get they are going out of business.... but this is deceiving customers. Not much we can do since they are going out of business. Still was not fair though.

As far as this store knows they are NOT closing. But we all know that could change. Sorry to see this Iconic giraffe GO 💔

Its really a 2 or 3 star, but how can I give it that anymore. Goodbye ToysRUs. I still dont want to grow up. There used to be tons of toys that I could play with. From bikes to trains to video games, its all on clearance now. 😭😭

I went fairly close to a Christmas and close to closing time but they were super busy. They only had 2 cashiers and a long wait to check out. The Funkos were a mess. However I got some really good deals on things. Other things I knew u could get cheaper elsewhere. I hate to hear all the bad news about them not doing well but they are very overpriced when something isnt on sale.

Huge selection of toys, games, Legos, Pokemon cards, etc. This is my little boys heaven.This location is always pristine and extremely organized. Staff is very friendly and will walk you to the aisle you need, rather than send you off into no mans land.

Ill always be a Toys R Us kid its so sad theyre going out of business Im going to miss this store tremendously always the best selection of toys awesome people that work there so sad to see them going out of business. 40-year customer here sad to see you go!😢😭

They are not i repeat not going out of business advertisement was very false but since youre such a nice story I purchase some things anyway and at the register they decided to tell me .. no were going out of business and theres one in Saint Pete that is then why didnt it say that on the news that you guys are not going out of business but it was a good way to draw in business

5 stars for nostalgia. Growing up broke, you didnt get to go into Toys R Us and now that youre an adult, hey, why not? Staff nice and helpful even at the end of the day and during holiday season. Wide variety of things from puzzles and books to baby clothes and strollers (shouldnt that be in Babys R Us?). Of course toys of different types from Star Wars to My Little Pony to Marvel to traditional stuffed animals, bikes, and even iPads. Also an incredible amount of candy. I almost think they put it there at the front to have kids have a break down right as parents thing theyre home free. Well lit and clean, although parking lot can be a bit sketchy at night. A shame Amazon is killing it. Such is progress.

Please I went to toys r us to try any buy a start wars toy that was on special offer which I had tried to buy on line and just pick up but I could not get it to go through. When I got to the store I we w went to customers service told them the problem the assistant was very good and told me there were three on the floor and two out the back and pointed me in the right direction. I could not find them and headed back to customers service found s manager on the way who called Nick over and asked him to help me. There rest was just put magic Nick searched the shelves when none were to be found told me he was going to look out back 20 mins later he returned with ladders and told me they were up above the shelves he found the toy and I was set to go. I really think Nick was fabulous he could have just told me he couldnt find one and sent me on my way but he just kept going until he found it. It took a little time but he found it and saved me $50.00. thank you Nick your a star.

Five star for their strategy. Low prices on toys because they say they are going out of business. But the truth is, they are trying to stay in business. They seem to be toys giant. They have good toys but some are used. Those giant kids cars I saw has been used. They have some awesome remote control cars. I think they are too pricey.(expensive). With Walmart and Amazon competing they might likely continue with their new ad Going out of business. People can get those toys online at Walmart and shipping is free. Remember! Walmart has everyday low prices.

I stopped there to get my friends baby few toys. Was very pleased on how everything is organized and easy to find. Knowledgable associates can help as well.

They have a really great section for leggo architecture sets, which my boyfriend and I love to do together. The staff are super friendly. I wish they had a bigger Pokemon section or some tomagotchi.

Really hope this store does not close, my girls love it, we shop there very often, it is nice to actually touch and feel the toys before buying them, great store.

Just drove here because the time on here/Google said they were open until 9:30 only to find out they actually close at 9 such a waste of a drive/time other then that no problems the cashiers are very sweet/friendly

Staff was helpful except for the one girl who obviously hates her job pushing peoples cart down the aisle because it was in her way and didnt even say a word

Going out of business prices are great

Toys R Us is the best place to find anything for kids, Prices can be High but if can find there Clearance Area sometimes there are Amazing deals just need to look!!

The going out of business sales are not that great only 10% or 30% off. Only one section was 50% off and it was xmas and only had one train. I bought water wubbles and the first day three of them broke, I called customer service left a message and no one has called me back. Their merchandise is overpriced to begin with.

Greatnplace for toys and games. Staff always asking to offer assistance. Great staff.

Toy r us is awful. Ordered two things on black friday and a week later they tell me they are canceling my order due to its out of stock. Why let me order it in the first place? They wonder why they are struggling. They always will with their terrible website and awful customer service. Ill stick with Amazon from now on.

This is a nice Toys r us. They have a lot of great games and toys . They carry a wide variety of collectables here. They have a lot of Funko Pops & mystery minis. I wish they had a bigger selection of my little pony toys & collectables here but, not so much. A great place to go & stroll through to see all of the happy fun toys. I feel terrible that they will be closing all of thier stores soon. Such a shame.

Someone told me Toys R Us is going out of business not because of online ordering but due to Walmarts low prices for toys. I checked it out and she was correct.

Always love walking around TRU. It was crowded I guess from ppl expecting closing sales but they have not begun yet. I hate to see a company close but with the prices of everything I see why it is.

Merchandise not in best shape. Packages of Thomas the train were torn and in one case had bubble gum on back, when it came to battery operated items, many were inoperable, even with a try me button,

Hopefully you never have to come across the cashier named Audrey. She gives discounts to some customers and her transactions take forever. If you ask her for her name, shell flip you off. Worth the discount? I think not.

Decent selection, always easy to price match if available, never a long wait to check out. .. location awkward to navigate, store clean, friendly staff.

Just had the worst customer experience checking out at the Clearwater Toys R Us. He was so rude, no eye contact and wasnt understanding anything. He clearly needed to go home.

This was my kids first time in a toy store and they loved it!

Prices are low and very good but not as low as I would expect and they didnt have very much Shimmer and shine left for those Shimmer and shine fan baby girls at Toys R Us but they are closing soon

Attended Force Friday at midnight. The employees were in costume, played trivia and gave prizes to those in line. Super fun.

Great STEM selection, have shopped here for my kids the last two years.

My son and I went to the store for GEOFFREYs birthday club on Sep. 17th. When I asked for a plush toy and a book, a staff told me we ran out of plush toy! They only had a couple of them and only a few kids got the plush toy and rest of kids could not get any! The staff told me come back next week for the plush toy!! It is so disappointing to get email that says go to the store to get the toy and you drive 30 minutes to get there, then they say we ran out of it.

Worst experience ever.. manager of the Clearwater store is nothing but a little twit and should be smacked right in her little mouth.. they lost my order, pieces were missing and when I got pissed cuz she sent me to a dark alley in the back of the building where nobody came out inthe three times I knocked, she then put her hand in my face and told me to back off, shes lucky I didnt break her arm.. it was horrible

They are closed, whats up with that. I tried to get some stuff for a birthday but the hours started they should be open. So i wedged open the doors and nothing was inside except some shelving. Where and i going to get gifts for people... like Im going to use the internet and have that stuff come right to me in a couple of days without dragging screaming kids around wanting everything they see as i tell them to pipe down. Like Im going to order from an online retailer so i dont have to drag the kids and myself out of the house into my car and crank up the toons to drown out all the screaming and frustration of being locked into a car seat......Just kidding this is the future why ever go to a store again (just perishables really). Offer free shipping both ways and get rid of expensive stores and property.

40%-60% of everything right now, although one wonders if stuff was marked up prior to the sale. Still, prices are significantly cheaper than you can get online so if there are little people in your life, it may make sense to get over there and have a look around. Shelves are still about half full. Speaking of shelves, all of the fixtures are for sale as well.

Almost gone. They dont know the final date yet, but someone mentioned June 30. The shelv6are bare, still some items left at 30-60% off.Got a few things, nerf darts, nerf alien gun, My Little Pony, etc. A few video games left, no Legos.Sad to see it close. My son said its going to be sad when younger kids dont know what ToysRUs is.

So sad this toy giant is closing. I dont like Walmarts toy selection and Target is just way expensive.

A decent Toys R Us with a good variety of toys for all ages. Generally clean with plenty of staff willing to assist. Regrettably they have done away with all train collections ( eg Chuggington, imaginarium, etc) and now only have Thomas.

They have a huge selection of toys. Its nice to be able to discover, see and touch the them.

Older store, but they usually get through the line in an acceptable time.

Very rude staff!! Never been to store that had such disrespect towards its customers. Corporate should shut this one down!!!

Price match PC was running slow. So instead of asking for a manager or checking our phone they decided not to honor Targets price. So we went to Target. Toys R Us in Clearwater leadership is poor and not customer driven.

This store is the worst excuse for a TOY Store. Employees are rude with horrible attitudes. Black Friday and after a short short line that was turned into a lengthly wait due to a ridiculous way the management chose to route the half dozen or so customers you could either get angry or laugh. It is non caring, terrible management at this location that unfortunately have sent people elsewhere to shop.
