I just purchased my home with a two car garage door but it did have a garage door opener. Precision Garage Door was highly recommended by a couple of my friends. I had several quotes done and although Precision was a bit more expensive, I decided to purchase and install my garage door opener from them anyways. Customer service was outstanding and the warranty they offer on their products was exceptional. My Technician Adam M was fantastic. Adam was professional, knowledgeable and although he knew I was shopping around he never pressured me into using his company. Once I decided to go with Precision, my appointment was scheduled for the next day. Adam arrived on time and again went over the system, features and price. Adam installed my garage door opener and made sure I was familiar with the system before he left. Love my garage door opener. Highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

I got my overhead garage door opener replaced today with Precision. I am totally satisfied with the work they did. Chris was awesome. He explained everything in detail and provided multiple options. No pressure sell whatsoever. Price seemed little bit over the edge initially but looking at the parts, services and warranties came with, it is ultimately reasonable. Mike was great. Professional, knowledgeable, and low key. I called for a tuneup but wound up replacing all the most important parts to insure that my garage door will provide reliable service for the future. My existing opener was 19 years old and ready to fail. Part of hurricane preparation is to make sure that all of your primary operating systems are in good working order. The new opener has a battery backup so the door will open if power is out. I used to hope my garage door would open and now I know it will!

Ryan came out to inspect our garage as we have been having issues. He not only came up with solutions, he worked with us to set a budget we were comfortable with to get the work done. I have always used Precision and it has been 11 years since I called them. My garage door wouldnt open this morning and I had to manually close it last night. When Adam arrived, the door worked perfectly, I was embarrassed but he was very nice about it and said he would check out my door to see that everything was OK. He asked why I didnt use the wall attachment and I said that it didnt work. He fixed it and explained that there is an override option when the door doesnt close which you dont have on a remote. I mentioned that one of my eyes has a short and I often have to adjust it to close the garage. He did something with the wiring of both to stabilize them. H checked the balance of the door and said that it was excellent.. I was charged just for a service call and I so appreciate Adams courtesy and willingness to make sure everything was working well. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

The tech Travis was great. 40 minutes and gone.But VERY VERY expensive.Over $330 for something available from the overpriced-Amazon at $40. Further, amount charged WELL over range quoted over the telephone. (they even had brand model info when they quoted me)And by paying these prices, one would hope you’d get the same brands, not a universal remote.I understand cost of carrying Inventory on truck. etc, but most would view markups of 700+% & 1000% as borderline excessive?Oh well.

Called Precision to make an appoint on a Monday morning to repaird the broken springs for our garage door. Arnold Simpson arrived at 11:00 am and checked out the problem. He gave all our options and explained very carefully all the options so we could understand. He had the springs replaced and door working by 1:00 pm. He was very courteous and left the area very clean when he had finished.

Garage door always breaks at the worst time. No worries though, Precision showed up on Labor Day to make the repairs. Unbelievable service!! We needed a new spring and they told us it would be between 12 and 4 so I automatically thought they would show up at 3:30 or so. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Brian called at 11:20am to say he was 20 minutes away and was at the door at 11:45 he was extremely nice and courteous and had it new spring installed and working properly in just under 30 minutes! We just sold our house and we close in 2 weeks so I wish the spring could’ve broke on the buyer but having an amazing technician like Brian almost made me not mind replacing a spring that I will only use for the next 2 weeks. Thanks again Brian and now when I see those commercials everyday I will believe that Precision Door service IS a name I can trust!!

AMAZING! I was very hesitant on repairing our garage bc the first company (not precision) that came out completely took advantage of us and messed up our garage even more. So we called precision and the customer service was very helpful with getting a time that would work for us and it was very quick to get someone out there. The technician Matt was very professional and explained everything to me so I was comfortable with what he was doing. He explained all the parts and what they do and why we needed it replaced which I probably didnt look like I understood but its nice to know what you are spending the money on!! Next time we need anything done on our garage I will go to precision and also ask for Matt!

I am very pleased with my new garage door from Precision. I purchased a complete replacement, doors, springs, motor, the works. The installation went smoothly, the technicians were top notch, quick, friendly, professional and the door itself is terrific. As can happen from time to time, we had a problem with my custom garage order as the door was shipped from the manufacturer missing a panel but the staff at Precision worked with me during the whole process, rescheduling the installation and addressing all my concerns in a straight forward and professional manner. I heard a loud noise when I raised the garage door. Thankfully the door opened completely. I immediately called Precision Garage Door. The technician actually called to say he could come earlier than scheduled. He replaced the springs and wheels on the door and instructed me on how and where to lubricate the parts. He arrived with a mask on. Once he looked at the door, he provided me with 2 options and didnt push the more expensive one. He was done in a few hours, cleaned everything up before he left. He was very pleasant and courteous the entire time.

We were very happy with our experience with Precision Garage Door of Tampa Bay. Our garage door spring broke overnight and they were able to have someone out that very afternoon. Our technician, Craig E., was very professional and knowledgeable. He inspected all parts of the door and recommended different options, pointing out other issues, both potential and current. Craig kept us informed during the entire process, with inspections before and after, as well as a run-down of adjustments made. There had clearly been shortcuts performed during the original installation (not by this company) that had taken their toll and it was great to get the door back in tip-top shape. Its been a couple of weeks since the repairs/adjustments and I can safely say it was a job well done. We will definitely be using Precision Overhead Garage Doors again and highly recommend them.

Completely over priced if you get a quote from them I guarantee you can get another quote at half the cost for the same repair. This company quoted me $2300 to fix some issues. After laughing at the service tech and asking him to leave I called another company and they did the same job for $450. Just one example precision was going to charge me $770 for a motor. Lowes or home depot sell same type motor for $299 do your research and dont get ripped off. This company is a joke

Precision Overhead Garage Door has been a very dependable source of care and service of my garage door equipment for years. I do the necessary research of suppliers to determine the degree of quality of personnel, service, and products before making a purchase and have done so for years.Precision just installed a beautiful garage door with not just (7-8) hurricane support bars but (9) bars. The county inspector was quite surprised. The garage door is actually showing signs of being air tight meaning no air from wind gets in. Amazing. The quality of service and work are excellent. You can buy a garage door almost anywhere but you must really hunt to find a supplier with both integrity and quality at reasonable prices whom you can trust.

My Garage door suddenly stopped working so I contacted precision with questions. They were very friendly and were able to have a repair man come by the same day. Brian arrived and was able to find the problem within a few minutes. He took time to explain the issues with me and my wife and also provided options and recommendations. Had a hinge on our door come loose and gave Precision a call. They had installed a new spring on our garage about a year ago and did excellent work. Jason D. came out to have a look at the hinge and fixed it in about 15 minutes. He was incredibly professional and didnt charge anything since we had some prior work done. I cant recommend Precision enough!!

Mike was a very professional and friendly guy. Quoted me the correct price compared to the call center who didnt know the prices at all. Staff at the call center NEED to be trained better. At least have a cheat sheet and ask the appropriate questions so the pricing can be somewhat close to the actual price.

We purchased a Lanier opener from them several years ago and it has performed exceptionally well. It is by far the best garage door opener we have ever had. We commend them highly!

It was just like the commercial. Spring broke on the weekend, door would not open, went to website, setup and appointment in less than 5 minutes. Matt showed up right on time, showed me the options with no pressure so I could make an informed decision. He performed retail, cleaned up, and was able to use Google pay so the entire transaction was safe and touchless!
