As a senior citizen, Dario reminds me of the fast food restaurants of my youth. In the 60’s These were a great place to go for a clean safe environment for adults and children. I really can’t enjoy what other fast food restaurants have become. Dario sets the standard that others would be well advised to copy. Well trained personnel, consistently good food, a willingness to be kind and helpful and the Clean Team!
The good : Excellent quality, fresh food. The Monster burger all the way is a Southern classic. Fries are always served hot and perfectly seasoned, crinkle cut. If you want sweet potato fries, they are waffle cut and served with a little cinnamon sugar.Ice cream is always fresh, with a significant variety plus soft serve. Restaurant is always immaculately clean and well staffed.The needs improvement: Portion control has made the ice cream a bit underwhelming of late. I generally order 2 scoops on a waffle cone and have been handed something that I would call one. For a product almost $6 at that point, I will simply be ordering 1 scoop, or not at all, moving forward. Its a good quality product, but the value just isnt worth it to me.If they need to charge more to put two actual scoops, then be honest about it...but do not hand me a single scoop cone and then insult my intelligence by telling me that it is 2...
So glad we tried Dairi-O! The food is consistently good, and the staff is extremely friendly. The prices are exceptional for the quality of meal you get.
The Dairi-O of Clemmons (Drive-thru Edition). On my visit at Dairi-Os of Clemmons, I had a taste for a hotdog ALL THE WAY and french fries. So I figured Dairi-O would hit the spot. But, unfortunately, upon my visit to the drive-thru, the line was long. Usually, they have two workers working the drive-thru, one taking cash and credit or debit cards, but no one was out during my visit.It was lunchtime, so you know, typically, 8 am - 5 pm workers have limited time to spare to pick up lunch. So it took about 7 minutes from the time I got in line until I received my meal. Nevertheless, once back at my location, I did appreciate the taste of my hotdog and french fries.I would go back to Dairi-O because I do enjoy things off of their menu. With the business they receive, they should consistently adopt the professionalism of Chick-fil-A and how they run their drive-thru at all times. I know I have come to this Dairi-O location and have gone somewhere else due to the long line.
Quality of food less than previous visits. Ordered a cheeseburger all the way. When I got it, it only be included the bun, hamburger and cheese.
This batch of teens were very friendly, engaged and nice to interact with. We spoke to people the entire drive through experience.They were out of turkey dogs so we both had beef dogs with fries, mine unsalted, as requested, thank you!We like this location as it is easy to access and reliable for all the above reasons.
We just ordered food from this location and not only did they give us the wrong order, but when we told the employee, she took the bag back and slammed the drive-thru window shut while we were trying to tell her what we had. So RUDE! Honestly, the employees at all Dairi-o’s are always rude and short with the customers. When we finally got our food, there were no straws in the bag. Won’t be returning here!
Had double cheese burger and fries. They have the best fries. Would also recommend the hot dogs
Great location in clemmons, all the employees are very very nice and waiting to help you with anything you need but then again theyve always been that way. The two hot dogs special with everything is my favorite.
Waited in very long line only to get my order wrong (Ordered no tomatoes was given extra tomatoes). However, it was quickly fixed and it was delicious! Employees were very nice and understanding. Sophia taking orders on ipad was very professional and Adam handing out food was very helpful on fixing tomato issue. Next time I come ill skip drive thru and go inside.
Wow! Was here from Atlanta this place has great food and very reasonable prices. If I lived here I would be eating at this place all the time. Had the chicken wrap tasty and way too big my son had their signature Burger looked and smelled great. Great food good prices great place to go. Wish we had one in Atlanta.
First time trying this chain and it was very good. Burger was cooked well and you are able to get lots of toppings for free. Cheese fries were good, along with shakes that were excellent. The location itself was very new, clean, and the service was very good. We will definitely be back.
The food is good. The service sucks at least through the drive-thru. Check your order before you leave b/c this is the third time Ive gotten all the way home and they forgot something. The times before that they gave my order away to a different car. If you decide to get food from here, go inside.
The service was great,but I was disappointed in my food I got the 5 PC chicken strips that cost $5.49. They were not strips at all. They were 5 small quarter size nuggets. I mean you can get a whole chicken sandwich at chick- fil- a for that, with almost half a chicken breast on it. Way over priced and false description on the menu.

Pumpkin Pecan ice cream is back. Wonderful flavor available seasonally. Also ordered a Strawberry sundae, which comes with strawberries, soft serve vanilla ice cream, whip cream, pound cake, wager bars & a cherry on top.Double drive thru or curbside delivery to you car are available at this location.Nice afternoon for a sweet treat.
Great burger (especially when you get it all the way.) The double drive through makes it breeze to order and get your food. The customer service is always friendly and the food comes out really quickly. Hands down significantly better than the big 3 (McD, BK, and W.)
My first time trying on the way home from the state Parks... Everything was good .. I tried the turkey dogs and sweet potato fries... My lady tried a burger... But the banana pudding ice cream is the reason we came and we never received it with our order after paying for it... One other thing, the person who handed us just gave me a blank stare and handed me my food without saying a word... No thank you have a nice day or anything...

Dont matter which one you go to, they are packed. Good burgers and hot dogs for a quick lunch. But they also have other things as well. What ever you get, it will be pleasing. They have grown so much as a business. They have service, kinda like chick-fil-a. No wonder they stay packed. I may go like twice a week.
Excellent food, staff, and location. Specifically plan our meals during trips to ensure were ready to eat when in the area. The fries are a true specialty!

Slightly busy at the moment, but the team is rocking it, and everyone is getting their food very quickly. Everything in my order was spot on, and SUPER delicious. It takes me back to the ORIGINAL Tiny Diney/ Dairi-O in King, NC.I was scared when my friend sold the business and the name, but the food didnt change one bit. I highly recommend this establishment to ANYONE, as there is something for everyone!
Clemmons is the best location out of all of them. Dining room is usually clean, food orders are almost always received correctly, and service is pretty good too.A young man named Carter in the Clemmons drive-thru helped me with questions I had today. He was very friendly and knowledgable.If you have special dietary needs, they usually can accommodate. My favorite lunch there is the Chicken Souvlaki pita (minus the bread) with a side salad. Very yummy! Thanks for doing a great job! Now if you could just get the King location to raise the bar a little. Their dining room is always filthy.

Tried their handwhipped ice cream which was amazing. The best chocolate ice cream I tried after a long time. Chocolate for chocolate lovers was my pick. Little pricey but its worth it.

For sure better than the darios in Winston in terms of consistency and wait time relative to how busy they are. Assuming both restaurants are equally busy you can definitely expect the Clemmons darios to be better.In terms of food, darios is my favorite fast food place and they have some tough competition
Good drive through experience. They ask your name, put a card under your car window wiper BUT didnt provide a receipt! Got my items by tray top and was on my way. Location is not convenient from main road
Food was great and fresh, they give you a really large portion of crinkle cut fries with your order. The interior was extremely clean and the staff very friendly. A great quick bite.

They make a great milkshake! The chicken souvlaki is my favorite. Love to dip my fries in the tzatziki sauce. My husband always gets their hotdogs. He likes the grilled bun.
This was our first time here since moving to the area a couple of years ago. We went through the drive thru where we were greeted by an actual person and after placing a fairly large order it came out in decent time. We had a mix of things from salads to burgers. The salads were fresh and tasty. The burgers were decent but not the best (or worst) Ive had but they had a good variety of condiments and toppings to go with them. The fries were hot and tasty but slightly under done... for my liking anyway. Overall, pretty decent for a quick meal and the pricing wasnt bad! Ill go back for the 1/4 hot dog next!

The debit card machine was down at Dairios in Clemmons last night on 6/20/21 and only taking cash. I didnt have any cash on me and Kevin Lee taking my order said he would spot me the cash if he had enough. I was shocked that someone who didnt know me would do such a thing, knowing I might not repay him. Just goes to show there is good in this world and I am a believer!!! This did my heart good - Kevin I hope you know what an influencer you are - keep up the great work!!!! God is good!! Our power was out and we had just witnessed a baptism it was almost closing time - 9:45pm.

For the price you cant best it ! The burgers were huge and tasty a bit over cooked for my tastes, but its not a gourmet burger joint . The fries were hot and fresh and tasty and the banana split sundae was good, a great place to go to if your on a budget with your family 👪
Great hotdogs and a big bag of fries! It would get 5 stars, but the bathroom was out of soap, and the stall I went in had no toilet paper. They were also out of the chocolate sauce for the dip top ice cream.
Great location with friendly staff! Parking lot can get a bit crazy and confusing when they add the makeshift second drive thru lane. But, the food is great, we normally get the hot dogs and blue cheese salad!
Drive thru line long like all Dairi-os...but moved quickly. Food was mostly good...hamburger bun smashed like a pancake and texture was like 4 day old bread.

I didnt know it was so hard for them to get my order right. All I asked was regular hotdogs bbq slaw and no salt on fries. What I received was salty fries chili and white slaw on one hotdog and nothing but maybe a teaspoon of bbq slaw on the other. Not even a thing I asked for.
Dari-O has over the past year reduced the quality of the wieners they use. I suppose their growth and popularity pushed them to reduce quality. Their FF are still great quality. I dont buy hot dogs any more. I buy the good hamburgers.
Their food is incredible, their ingredients and toppings are always fresh. As for their costumer service, most of the time its decent, however, sometimes its less than ideal. All on all it is definitely worth it, so check it out.

I visited Dario a few days ago and was super pleased with the food and the friendly customer service Overall is a great restaurant I just wish that there was a way to improve on the waiting time its always busy so that should tell you the food is good
When sharing with the team leader the wafflee cone was empty. He said we arent trained to push it down the ice cream will melt and run into the cone. You have to be kidding me this is the response.
Someone needs to block off the parking in front of the building. You only have one choice to exit through the drive though in with the drive through traffic. There is no option to get out of the parking lot around the drive through traffic.
One of the best places in Clemmons to sit down with family and friends. Good food, ice cream, and always friendly and hastle-free. Recommended.

Stopped in on a road trip for a milk shake. Quality was great as always. Drive-thru was a bit slow. Service was with a smile, great employees.
1st time coming here. Approximately 17 minute wait for a milkshake.... which was the wrong flavor. Parking attendants had no clue how to direct traffic. Once I pulled out, I realized my order was wrong and the milkshake was frothy and gross.
1st time to this dairi o. Wasnt impressed. My shake was watered down. My burger didnt have to much flavor even tho I added stuff to it. The only good thing was my fries. Something made me sick afterwards.

My family and I live in Clemmons and eat at Dario periodically. My husband ordered a wrap and while eating it pulled out a metal twist tie out of his wrap. I’m just thankful he didn’t consume it or it wasn’t in my child’s meal. We called and reported it to the manager and he apologized and said he would chat with his staff. Offered to give us some a free meal to try and restore our faith in their service and failed to take down any of my info. Could have been very dangerous to consume a piece of metal.
Pretty good food for a general amount of families/people. Youll find something you like and if not onion rings are fire

Definitely could have had a better experience, went inside to eat and waited 15 minutes for our food, (supposedly because I ordered fish) but not only was my fish not hot but by the time we got it the chili cheese fries were cold and soggy, and didnt even everything on our order. On top of that my wife and daughter used the restroom and the soap dispenser was broken so they had to go behind the counter to wash their hands. . . which was embarrassing for them. Not a good experience......

Dairi-Os is new to me in the area. At first I didnt know what to think because Id never heard of the name. They have six restaurants in North Carolina now and are NC based only. Inside is retro feeling and a very inviting atmosphere. They have a very wide menu of choices for everyone, even vegans. I had the BAR-B-Q sandwich meal with onion rings and it was very good and not vinegar based. The onion rings were fantastic and fresh tasting.I give major kudos for the extremely friendly staff and ability to taste test something if you are unsure of an item. I first saw them in Mooresville, NC a few months ago as a new restaurant in a newly developed plot of land on River hwy (NC 150). This will be one of my new places for some great food and atmosphere. Thank you!
Good food nice workers always get order right
Just got home with our drive through order. Ordered 2 double cheeseburger meals, one with lettuce, tomato, mustard and pickles, the other with tomato, onion, mayo and pickles. Neither burger had cheese and both burgers were lettuce, tomato, mustard and pickles 🙄
We enjoyed some great chili dogs, fries and amazing ice cream. Highly recommended
First of all my family and I really enjoy eating at Dairi-o. The food is awesom, until they changed the chicken on the salads. My wife says the chicken taste like pressed chicken breast instead of grilled chicken breast. We now are unable to eat salads when we visit. Please change back

Dairi-O is one of our favorite places to eat! The Clemmons one has an awesome outdoor eating area and friendly staff.
My first visit. Lots of options and a great selection of ice cream flavors. I had the burger combo. Husband had the hot dog combo. Fries were excellent!! Fresh brewed tea was great too.
I ordered the Blt and the bread was too greasy to hold the sandwich together and the lettuce was old.
If youve never had Dairi-O, then youre missing out. Get the fries with some ranch, extra seasoning and thank me later. The burgers are great and the milkshakes are killer. Im so glad more locations have popped up in recent years. The staff is young but always courteous, polite and thorough. 10/10, would always recommend.
I know help is hard to find, but if youre going to hire mean people might as well not hire anyone!
Once upon a time I would of gave it 5 stars and Im not one to let one bad experience be the unit which I judge by. With that said dont eat here the service is horrible and the last 3 times I have ate here has resulted in food poisoning.If you want Dari-Os and you are in Winston Salem area drive to the university parkway location.You can actually eat there and not spend the next day vomiting and holding your stomach in pain.

Not nearly as good as Dairi-O in Moorseville! Obviously managed poorly! Fries were bad (oil is burnt and needs to be changed). Hot dogs were cold. Even the soda tasted off (either the lines need to be cleaned or mixture is off). Poor way to run one of my favorite restaurants!!
