The general chill, calm atmosphere and comfortable seats really puts you in the mood to relax and drink. My smoothie was great, I had the Bold Green and the staff were friendly.

What a great little coffee shop! Man, do looks deceive. At first you wouldnt think it was a coffee shop but thanks to Yelp, I realize it is a hidden gem.Came in on a Sunday and was surprised to see it empty only to find out they were closing shop an hour early due to the holiday (New Years) - oops !!! Even though we didnt realize it until our drinks were being made, the guys were super chill and not bothered that we were their last customers. With that being said, the guy at the counter was very chill and very informative on the coffee and product.I decided to get the Ethiopian Honey brewed coffee and Ethiopian coffee is very tasteful and strong. The way he brewed it was very like the starbucks clover machine and it was perfect so that one can get the full taste of the coffee bean and aroma. If you love coffee, for sure, you will love to try the different types of exotic coffee this cafe has to offer.If you come with a spouse, family and friend whom dont drink coffee, no worries, theres different options to chose from. My spouse got the sunshine smoothie and it was super fresh and delicious! I definitely recommend it.I want to go back to have some Ethiopian Banana bread coffee and enjoy it at the actual location during opening hours lol.

Cute little place. Lots of healthy options. I ordered a green smoothie and it tasted very fresh and delicious. It was a little on the smaller side for a meal replacement but it hit the spot!! The employee working made great suggestions and even showed me the keto pastries! Great selections!!

Energy lab Cafe is a really cool bar in Clermont. Fresh cold brew on nitrogen and delicious lattes. Vegetarian friendly and delicious. Recommend this Cafe to anyone. Nestled in historic Clermont it is vibrant representation of the energy of the area.

Consistently amazing, a go-to when I’m Clermont. My favorite is the bee sting, however you can’t go wrong!

This is a third wave coffee shop - meaning the focus is on quality coffee at every level from origin, to the roast process, and finally the critical elements going into the espresso shot itself (grind size, timing etc). I wasn’t really worried about anything else like setting, WiFi, etc. The shot Alex pulled was exceptional, not that I am very articulate about the taste but a few things are critical to me - not bitter, some complexity, no harsh aftertaste. All bases covered here, in fact one of the best shots I’ve ever had, grateful for that!

Certainly a nice upscale location for the athletes in the area to enjoy some community time with other athletes on break or even shopping for whats right fro the road. Other than the location, the staff was chill and friendly until the manager over heard me speaking with someone about 360 photography and he interrupted and was not entirely rude about it but def not polite or understand of how to ask a visitor not to upload photos, so as a review from a potential customer and client that is a large part of the clermont business community i will contribute my 2 cents and will not allow such a small thing change my mind about such a nice and convenient location and business that I can only hope helps Clermont thrive upward.

Outstanding bike shop and cafe. Staff is super friendly and very knowledgable. Cafe has wide assortment of smoothies, energy drinks, and coffee all made fresh onsite. Lots of state of the art gear and bicycles. This place is a true gem.

This was the outright worst coffee I’ve ever had. The iced coffee reaked of old coffee and bad milk. This place should not even have energy I’m their name because after this cup of coffee my energy has been sucked away. Instead this place should be called a lab but a lab where you try to see if dog food tastes good to humans in addition no class by the servers here. Disgusting.

This place is a real deal! Coffee done right! Not sugar and not over roasted beans. The flavors are on point, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, the flavors are regularly rotating out. Obviously you have to come here and try it out!!!!!

Best (and maybe only?) coffee shop in the surrounding area!! Their coffees are really strong (if you ask for it) and they have cold brewed coffee... hard to find on most coffee shops...Although it’s part and adjacent to a nice bicycle shop... you do not have to be a cyclist or related to the sport in any way... the day I was there most patrons were not riding bikes...Highly recommended

Some of the best, and most unique coffee concoctions Ive ever had! Ive gotten a rosewater latte (on special at the time) and an espresso/ ginger beer/ cherry drink. Both were flavor combinations Ive never tried or would have thought of, but they were so good! I dont remember the gentlemans name that made our coffee but he said they were his original recipes... He was so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place for great coffee and friendly conversation :)

Hip place to hang out and get a coffee. The barista was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. You could tell he was passionate about coffee. He was doing all kinds of weird coffee magic and the result was a really tasty cup of coffee. I got the vanilla something or other and it was damn good. It had hints of ginger which was amazing. The coffee was smooth with zero bitterness. The Cafe is on the smaller side but there is a decent amount of seating. 4 couches and 3 tables. There is also a good amount of outdoor seating. The only complaint is maybe the a/c could be cranked up a little. I saw some pastries and didnt see any signs about not using electronics.

Had a nice Smokey cup of coffee that hit like a hammer! Minus a star because the female barista was not friendly at all and need a lesson in customer service to all people (read between the lines). The male barista was pretty cool. Other than that, I liked the selection and will definitely be back.

One of the best cups of coffee Ive had. Must try their unique Steampunk brew system. Barista was very good. Nice patio and deck with lake views. Large bicycle and equipment store attached. Not far from the Minneola trail. Great spot to stop for a cup when out riding.

Perfect spot along the riding trails or just to stop in for and energy shot, smoothie or cup of tea. Large outdoor seating and inside if you really need a cool down. Plus you can do a little shopping as well.

Wanted to try it and drove 45 mins to just be told as I walked in by the girl that SHE decided to close early. It was 4:30pm and randomly closes early? Completely inconsiderate for customers. If the time says you close at 6. You close at 6. Simple.

Legitimately the best place I’ve ever been to for coffee! The espresso is so much better than any I’ve ever tried and the manager truly cares about the drinks and the customer experience. Can’t recommend this place enough

Was looking for a certain blend of juice for my husband when he wasnt feeling well and found this place. They dont let you add or take away from the mixes and that was my only thing. Their variety is a little limited too but they are a small shop. The juice was great according to him though so that is a plus!

Went in looking for recumbent bikes. Very fancy, upscale store with food bar. Nice sales attendant. Didnt have what we needed though. In beautiful part of Clermont.

Every one is a PRO, they explain every detail easy for beginners like me. I believe is the right place to buy, repairs, tune-up and more... Prices are acceptable

First time there, not very pleased. I went to the bike shop to buy a bike, the guy that was there barely acknowledged my presence there, I stayed for almost 10 minutes looking at different bikes, not once he asked if I needed any help. He wasnt even busy, I was the only customer at the shop. I wont expend my money in places like this.

What an incredible cafe. First, it is peaceful and beautiful inside with wonderful comfortable seats. The coffee is absolutely incredible....the best weve had since Italy. I had a cappuccino (almond milk available) and my husband an espresso. Its a great place to relax and enjoy. Next time well try their smoothies. A great variety with healthy, fresh ingredients. This is a fabulous place. Thanks Sara for making our day.

Love love and appreciate that they are organic!!!!! Not only are they organic, but they are delicious!! I feel great after having one of their smoothies and super food brownies. Their smoothies arent watered down and you can taste the quality and pride they put into their products. Aj was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We could use more places like this! Love. You should go! You wont be disappointed. Happy camper. :)

Great place to go, the staff are knowledgeable and know everything there is to know about coffee and its origin. It has a craft beer like ambiance with their specialty drinks, without the loud/drunk crowd at the end of the night.

We really enjoy their fresh juices. The tox is one of our favorites. The smoothies are delicious too. We have not tried any of the teas yet. But plan to return to try a few more of their tasty items. The view from inside is really nice.Tried some of their hot teas...really delicious.Would of been 4 stars - but there is no available WiFi for the customers to use.

First time in and customer service was horrible I left my mom there w my newborn son while I got my car and they wouldn’t serve her scared we didn’t have money to pay, when I came back to order, they skipped us for someone who just walked in proceeded to tell them about their loyalty program which they told us nothing about. They didn’t act like they cared for our business at all. Sad because I thought I found the place where I would be buying my juices but will be going somewhere more welcoming

AJ and Luke are a tag-team duo of coffee experts. Beautiful foam and pleasantly balanced. You can tell simply by speaking to them that they enjoy the craft and care about making every cup, the best cup. If I lived in Clermont, Id be here every day.

Barista needs to work on customer service. Very rude and unprofessional. My latte tasted like milk and he said that’s how it’s suppose to taste but then offered me 1 shot of espresso for $3 he said if I wanted a stronger drink I should’ve ordered something else. Very dissatisfied. The vibe is just bad. Beautiful place though I will say that.

Coffee was amazing! So smooth. They use the Alpha Dominche steampunk process, which is very rare. So glad I live near here. Will definitely be back. They definitely seem to have their crazy expensive machines dialed in.

Extremely unique place to grab coffee or some kind of healthy shake, the iced latte was very good and smooth(coffee tastes somewhat like axums coffee) the server seems to know what he is doing and made it pretty fast, the inside is really nice with comfortable chairs and overall just a really unique experience, great little shop. EDIT, I am lowering my overall rating because i have noticed along with my friends that one of the servers, the owner im pretty sure, can be very rude and just overall can be very unpleasant.

WOW! What an awesome cup of coffee and I didnt need any creamer as they suggested. I love coffee shops and the Energy Lab Cafe is now my favorite in Central Florida. They also have some awesome baked goods, I had a Superfood Brownie and it was fabulous. Great location overlooking the lake in Clermont. Cant wait to try their other offerings. Highly recommend.

The Steam Punk Columbian was a perfect example of a proper coffee. AJ, the coffee expert extraordinaire was amazing, to say the least! The environment is comfy and modern. Its connected to Epic Cycles, a fantastic place as well. You must visit!

Great potential, as yet unrealized. Its tucked away next to a bike shop near the lake. The laser-tag feeling entrance outside belies the genuine coffee shop interior. Theyve got a great setup and a good marketing identity. *But* they dont have wifi, which doesnt make much sense for such a good seating arrangement. Ive been told its intentional in order to encourage conversation, that it is what is trending in Brooklyn now. While thats some great intention, this is Clermont. Its a different place with different culture and needs. Other coffee shops in the area are great meeting places *and* have wifi for those working away from home. Seems like a missed opportunity for both customer and owner.Its clear they want to be known for quality coffee. They are halfway there. Unfortunately their primary brewing method, while high tech and pretty cool conceptually, takes way too much of the oils/flavors out of the bean during extraction. The resulting cup presents as a little weak and ill-defined. Fine for some, but the lack of alternative brewing methods (e.g. Chemex, straight pourover, Aeropress, French Press, or even regular drip) severely limits their customer offerings. They offer only two bean regions at a time, which is fine, I guess, if not limited. Their bean storage (pre-preportioned *clear* glass vials) seems undermine their commitment to quality a little.They boast a Slayer espresso machine (amazing), which says theyre serious about espresso. Ive not yet tried any of those offerings and so cant speak to it. It seems they are working hard to dial it in, though, which is great.Theres one guy who works there who is obviously well acquainted with coffee and has a passion for a good cup. Others however clearly dont seem to really care, which is a little disappointing.Overall, a great little shop. Lots of promise.
