Recently saw a video that described Vietnamese coffee as the best coffee in the world. They use a different bean than everyone else call Robusto. At the market here, they have it in instant coffee form.I cant wait to try it.
Love Vietnamese cuisine and they are readily accessible for many things that I prepare.Always friendly and helpful.
In my opinion, prices here are good and they often have fresh veggies that you cant find elsewhere. They also have an awesome brand of bottled tea there. This store reminds me of home now that Im far away and in college. The woman who usually does the cashier work is super sweet and sometimes asked how my mom was. They also have really cool plants growing in the parking lot. The parking lot can be hard to navigate though.
Love the tiny bananas that I cant find anywhere else. Great selections!
First, let me say that I do love this place. Just pay CLOSE attention to expiration dates and signs of mice when buying anything. I have had to search for bags that were not nibbled through by rodents and for things that were not expired. Past that...the exotic selection is outstanding and the produce & tofu cant be beat for selection and price. BTW: dont fool yourself in thinking that ANY food store doesnt have rodents or expired goods on the shelf. Just be a good shopper and be aware.
A nice, small store that carries good staples at really great prices! I had been looking for red bean paste, and they had it. Docking a star because it was expired by a few months, so I would recommend checking expiration dates before making a purchase.
Different varieties of noodles, if you like noodles.
People should really support these small ethic grocery stores more! Youd be surprised what you can find. I was super pleased to find my favorite Japanese coffee here. Its nice not having to go to the east side to find it.
Lady never smiles lol
Its a small store so of course the variety of products is small compared to other Asian grocery stores. However, it seems they offer some Vietnamese products the other stores dont. It smells a little in there and some of their stuff looks old like its been sitting there for years. Some of the can goods on a shelf facing the window have labels that are faded from the suns uv rays.
Love this store. Its where I always get my hot ramen and Thai tea. Very friendly people working there. They dont speak much English but always willing to help out.
Cute little shop on Detroit has most of the ingredients to make your delicious asian food
I have been there several times and that place is amazing. Culturally superior and fascinating.
Great Vietnamese market on the west side.
This is my go to store for Asian ingredients and MORE. The owners are reserved but very friendly and very helpful. Fresh lemongrass, baby bok choy, Thai basil and hundreds of other ingredients deck their coolers and shelves. I highly recommend this market and next door is a great place to get Pho!
This place is small but great. Friend service as well.
I just purchased these today and the expectation date is July 25, 2015 and also I posted a pic of a mouse that ate the package. This us disgusting!
Decent prices and decent selections.
