We are so pleased with our new roof installed over our deck by Bright Covers! It makes such a difference in the ambiance of sitting on our deck. It feels so cozy now. The materials are unique as they block the suns harmful rays while still letting some sunlight through. The installers were great. They efficiently installed our roof in 4 hours and kept us informed of what they were doing. Well be enjoying our patio so much more now that it has the perfect roof!

Overall, it was a very good experience. From the sales call to the installation, the company stayed in contact with us. The expectations they set for delivery was spot on. We love the cover and really notice the difference in temperature when under the cover and out in the yard. The light does come through and our family room still has the outside light coming in. The cover and the poles are very well constructed, which makes the structure very sturdy. After we hung the outdoor lights, it gives the whole patio a very homey and cozy feel. We did have one glitch with the installation, but Bright Covers was quick to rectify the situation. That was very much appreciated!

We live in Georgia (north outside of Atlanta) and we are thrilled with this choice. It legit does what they say. We decided on BC due to cost below lumber. I am so glad we did. Bright Covers did an outstanding job with our awning system. The crew was exceptional, especially James. When questions/issues came up during installation, James was succinct, polite, and professional. The awning system is beautiful and doing exactly what we hoped - blocking the hot summer sun. The difference in temperature and comfort when standing under the awning and then directly in the sun is amazing. Bright Covers has an exceptional product and staff. We highly recommend them.

Our experience with Bright Covers was excellent - from the opening contact with Todd, the salesman, to the man who came out and measured to the installation crew. All were very professional and easy to work with. The new cover is perfect for us, The translucent cover allows in some light, but keeps out most of the heat. Our patio was not very useful when just sitting out in the hot sun. We sit out there under the Bright Covers roof and it is a joy. Our only regret is not having done it long ago and had more use for our patio.

My husband and I researched several different systems for our roof deck and we settled on Bright Covers. The look of the roof system matches perfectly with the modern style of our home and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The communication was great, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish. Placed my order with this company on April 5th 2021. I was given an estimated install date of late August/ early September. I put 10% down as a deposit. My contract stated the total price, the deposit amount and a TOTAL DUE UPON COMPLETION. I received no further correspondence from this company. I called in late July to see if they had a more accurate estimated install date. I was informed that I was slated to be installed in September but I would get a call prior to that to finalize the install date. Again, no call no further correspondence. I called again today, August 24th. I was then and only then informed that I would need to make a 30% deposit for the product to even be manufactured; and it would be 20 weeks from the time that 30% was satisfied. This was the first time anyone had even mentioned this to me. I had told the salesperson on the first day I did not need financing because I would be able to pay in full. I have been waiting 6 months for this roof to be installed and I have never once been contacted by the company for additional payment. I had 2 additional roofers give me quotes that could’ve installed this by the end of May; and I would’ve had my roof 5 months ago. Now I’m back at square one, 6 months later, and still no roof.

We were so impressed with the installers Moni and Wilson. They were on time, polite, informative, fun to work with and did excellent work. We really enjoyed working with them and Mike Cicotti who measured for the installation. We sit out everyday and enjoy the protection our patio cover gives from the sun and the rain and it’s almost like another room now. The installation was smooth which I think was due to the quality of the engineering that went into the design of the patio cover. We just love it!! Thank you for a quality installation and product.

Will NEVER consider them a quality company! It leaks! And they just thru up their hands and ignored our numerous requests to find and fix the leaks. They even went so far as to blame us, saying our vent pipe was the issue. Interesting that the pipe is located 8 feet from the leak location. Go with someone local who has reputation! Thats our suggestion.Update:As of 10/5/21 we paid a local roofing company a scant $1K to come in and fix the leaks. It was Not our vent pipe as suggested by the Bright cover company. According to the employees of the roofing company, the metal sheeting installed was placed at an incorrect angle allowing water to drain toward the soffit, along with an excess of caulk which prevented the water to drain away from the house. Ohio has been blessed with an abundance of rain this summer, so I can happily proclaim that our leaks are now gone! Sorry BC, you had your chance with my numerous phone calls as well as the several videos I sent you!

I love my Bright Cover! I looked at a few options during the decision making process and am really happy with the final decision and results. It was worth the wait! Quality materials and construction and a very cool concept. I am enjoying my patio a lot more these days :-)

Our experience working with Bright Covers was great. Salesman was not pushy. Installer Moni was very courteous cleaned up everything after job was done. It’s a nice cover for rain and snow. My back door faces West, because the cover is high it doesn’t block the sun from the sides. Can’t sit out after 1 pm until sun down. Any suggestions.

We had are cover installed a month ago and we are very pleased with it.The two man crew that installed it did an excellent job and were very friendly. We have received several compliments on it from neighbors and friends.

Page Nelson came by my house to give us a quote to cover over our existing brick pavers. He was professional and took the time to explore options with me regarding my vision of what I wanted. He took his time making sure he got exactly what I was looking for. We sat down and gave some pricing options and listened intently to all my questions. Was punctual, kind and professional throughout our whole meeting.

My wife wanted to build a cedar pergola over our front porch to help block some of the afternoon sun as it was making our front doors extremely hot and untouchable. I really wanted something that would block more rain and sun. After researching what was available for some time, I liked the construction and warranty of the Bright Cover best. (Plus I didnt have to build it or maintain it!) While we were skeptical we agreed to a sales visit as it is the only way to get a quote. I understand that trying to do this over the phone would be difficult and actually our plan changed several times during the design and negotiation. I deal with a lot of sales people in my job and I know it is a tough occupation in some respects. The day of the visit was full of driving rain but we managed to come up with a plan that was mutually satisfactory. We did negotiate price some due to the changes in our design. We paid half down and were to pay the other half upon completion of the job. Our install date moved around a little and I wanted to be home during the install. Ironically, we had severe tornadoes the night before the crew was to arrive. My home was spared but our neighborhood was littered with insulation and roofing material. The install guys called to make sure we were still a go and were a few hours away. They managed to get to us despite several roads being closed. They were great to work with and are obviously good craftsmen. We confirmed the details of our install and they went to work. I visited with them throughout and watched as they fit, assembled, and constructed our cover. I am a maintenance manager for an automotive plastics supplier and am very detail oriented. I also had to convince my wife this was a good investment so I wanted to be certain it was well constructed and I didnt have to hear about it for years to come if she was unhappy! Everything fit well and all the details were attended to. The guys explained each step I inquired about and were very thorough. They did a great job with cleanup and were a real pleasure to work with. I work with a lot of service people and recognize quality when i see it. These guys were great. We made our final payment and said goodbye. We have had our Bright Cover for about a month now and my wife has expressed to me several times how happy she is with it. It has changed the look of our home and made it appear more modern and sleek. We will be changing some other details to complete the transformation. We have had a lot rain and high winds this last month and I have no complaints. It is a good product and fit our needs very well. Several of my neighbors have inquired about it so I believe the Bright Cover market share will be growing in my area.

I have been looking at Bright Covers for the last couple of summers and decided to finally give them a call this year. I was looking for a cover for our patio that would still allow natural light into our home without making it too dark. Bright cover was the perfect solution. The whole process was great! Mike the salesman was very informative showing the quality of the materials as well as the options. There was nothing high pressure about the sales side of it. Installation happened very quickly and exceeded my expectations. The installers were very friendly, quick, clean and did a great install even in the rainy weather. The Bright Cover has been a great addition to our patio. It is great to be able to sit out and enjoy our patio rain or shine. Also with a newborn its nice to know that due to the UV protection of the panels we can have peace of mind sitting out with him. I highly recommend Bright Cover to anyone only regret is that I wish I had done it sooner!

About a week ago, we had our Cover installed. From the sales process to the installation, everyone was very professional. They let me know when they were going to install, followed up and arrived as promised. It took about five hours to install. I appreciated having them install as they were able to remove my pavers. They cleaned up everything. Looks awesome. Im already enjoying the shade and the compliments.

Super excited about Bright Covers! Just had my first site/estimate discussion with Chad and I am so pleased with the number of ways you can customize the cover. Chad was extremely knowledgeable and very customer focused. No pressure at all. I was also impressed with the way the appointment was scheduled and confirmed. Chad also called the morning of my appointment to let me know he was on his way. No guessing of what time to expect like the cable company! Everything is handled by Bright Covers from beginning to end with a great warranty if needed. Can’t wait to have my perfectly customized cover installed.

I have not received my awning yet. The salesman was very nice and when I call the company I get a call back right away. However... the time its taking to install is ridiculous. 4 months.. Our summer will be over. I had to rent a venue for a party we are having because until the second week of July. We signed the papers Aril 6, 2021. If you can wait 4 months for installation, it is a very nice roof. If you cannot I would consider going elsewhere. I wish I would have. They did say they have 10 crews working 7 days a week so I guess if they are that busy then that there is a 4 month lag time thats all they can do. Again for the money we are paying I feel it could have ben done sooner. If I could re wind I wouldnt do it..Addition to my post....I was contacted by customer service immediately this morning and he was extremely nice. Again the customer service is excellent. we were able to talk through the issues. I will keep you informed in a new review once its installed .UPDATE.. A Very nice gentleman came out to do my final measurements today, now just to wait and see when my roof will be completed. I will keep this review updated.

I have been very pleased with the buying process with Chad at Bright Covers. Hes been very knowledgeable and has been able to awncer any of the million questions i threw at him with absolute certainty. Chad has also made it possible to finnaly get some shad out on our porch by being able to work the design into our budget with out cutting the value of there product and ultimate giving us the most bang for or buck. And for that I am very appreciative. Me and my Husband cant wait to see the final product.

We had an appointment today with Todd from Bright Covers. He arrived on time, and went through a sales presentation on his companys patio covers. He went over various options and answered our questions thoroughly. He was very professional and courteous to both me and my wife, and was not pushy at all. My wife and I did decide to have Bright Covers do our patio cover, and we both are very satisfied with our choice.

From start to a finished deck cover, I am 100% satisfied. Started with sales, all questions were answered and all the install plans were set. Then a week later follow up with checking measurement and any other questions. The installers (three of them) Stared with a curtesy call with a time of arrival. They worked well together very professional. Beautiful product and a beautiful installation. Thank you all at Bright Covers.

Met with Chad from Bright Covers on Monday evening. He was very knowledgeable of the product, answered all questions me and my partner had, and delivered a pressure-free presentation. I chose to purchase a free-standing 10x14 with installation in March. Sincerely hoping the rest of the experience goes as well as the meeting with Chad, and will provide a final review upon completion.

I had a new cement pad poured to replace my uneven patio blocks. The weekly flier showed up and Bright Cover was in it. I showed my wife and said how good this would be to sit out in the rain and enjoy our backyard. I called and Mike came out and explained everything. My wife wanted to see one installed and we went to see one close to where we lived. This sold us and we ordered the next day. We were totally in awe as it was being installed. This is just amazing. The weather has been quite cold since it been up so I purchased a stand up propane heater. The heaters are shown in some of the pictures of the covers. Just to double check is it okay use one under the cover and not melt or warp the panels. Very pleased with the whole process.

I called Bright Covers to have someone come out to my house for a design consultation. I read some great reviews about them and was excited to see what they had to say. Unfortunately for me, I did not have a good experience. I scheduled an appointment, and the night before, I got a call saying the designer wouldn’t be able to make it because of a family emergency. While I was disappointed that the appointment was cancelled, I I rescheduled and was looking forward to getting an estimate because I really like the design of their covers. Well, the night before my already rescheduled appointment, I get another voicemail stating the designer wouldn’t be able to make it because of another family emergency. Sorry, I’m not giving them a 3rd try. Very frustrating.

I was looking for a cover over my patio for 8 years. Most contractors refuse to quote on the design and the ones that did provide a quote were over price or not what I wanted. The cover I wanted had to fit on L-Shape ranch with a hip roof.Then I contacted Bright Covers (Aug 2017) and Christine Tomasch showed up at my house. She was a pleasure to work with. She listened to my design requirements and came up with a Cover that was perfect. She made a few trips to my house to verify her design before providing me with a reasonable quote. The installers were pleasant and completed the job in 1 day. They did quality work and I would recommend them to anyone. The entire process from design to completion took about a month.Its been almost 9 months since I had the cover installed. We had a Bright Cover installed over an existing deck and couldnt be more pleased. It is quite a large area, 14 x 32 and we were not sure how it would look/work out, but it looks great. The cover appears to be made very well; heavy duty materials, sturdy and able to withstand high winds. We have not had the chance to rate its functionality because it has been too cold to use it, but we cant wait to be able to sit outside when it rains. The process from start to finish was pretty seamless, from the representative showing us the product to the installers cleaning up after themselves. The crew was respectful, friendly and worked well together, they seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The foreman of the crew, Jeff, was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained what was going to happen, asked us questions and answered all of our questions before and after the job was completed. The crew cleaned up so well after themselves that we wouldnt have believed what went into the project had we not seen it with our own eyes. My husband and I were SO excited about getting an estimate and possibly moving forward with Bright Covers for our backyard covering. A sales representative came to our home and was very nice to start out. He took measurements, explained the materials, showed us many pictures, let us feel the materials, and went over pricing - the typical process of getting a quote/estimate. Everything was going well so far...once the pricing was shared (a “today only” price, 30 day price, and 1 year price), I was shocked initially. These covers are very expensive, but I also am not naïve that nice and durable things are expensive. I told the sales man that my husband and I needed to discuss it privately and would let him know our decision as it would be a large investment. The salesman said “I’ve been doing this for awhile, the three things you both will probably talk about is the quality, how I represented the company, and finances”. I told him it only came down to finances since this was a high dollar price. He insisted on calling his boss to bring the price down to gain our business - which he was successful in lowering it. Even though he lowered it $2,000, we still needed to privately discuss it. The salesman offered to step outside for us to talk. I again told him we would get back to him to let him know since my husband had to get back to work...and this definitely was a decision that was going to take longer than 5 minutes to discuss. After saying that, the salesman IMMEDIATELY turned his attitude around and got VERY rude. I said I would let him know later in the day and he acted like he had to have an answer that moment. He loudly stacked his belongings and walked out. He did not thank us for our time, did not shake our hand (and yes, he shook it when we initially met), and did not say goodbye. When you are charging almost $16,000.00 on something, OF COURSE you cannot expect someone to make a decision in that moment. Needless to say, just because of that attitude we will NOT be going with Bright Covers. VERY unprofessional.

We got a relatively big cover over our deck and patio. It takes a while to line everything up and get the installation done, but it was a smooth process. Installation team was very professional and it took 3 days to install the whole thing. We are happy with the end result. Friends who saw it so far like the cover, a few said they also want one. We got it installed in winter and we are excited to use it more in the coming spring and summer.

I loved the product from the moment they showed it to us. However, being honest I questioned the price. The installers were both professional and very courteous. 4 days after it was up, our bright cover showed its worth. There was a massive storm in our neighborhood with 70 mph winds! Our bright cover didnt budge!! Its worth every penny.

We recently purchased a new bright cover for our rear deck We started with salesman Terry who was very knowledgeable and had great ideas on our bright cover layout. The installation crew of Moanie ( hope I spelled that right) and Tyler were fantastic explained what they were going to do and approximately how long it was going to take. When finished we had a great deck cover and no mess to clean up. Installers were professional and did a great clean up when finished. Two panels got water and debris between them which looked awful but we called Customer service and they came out and replaced them in no time. The two new panels are now whiter than the others. Oh well If you are looking for something for low uv rays, this is not the product. It still gets hot under the roof and you need to wear sun glasses and apply sunscreen because of the glare that comes through. It is nice to sit out on the patio and be protected from the rain. I’m looking into buying a sail blind to put under a section of the covering to give us more shade and protection. So I suppose the name says it all.

Our Bright Cover was installed last week and we love it! We call it the pagoda and it looks like it has always been there. Will make the area so much more useful in the hot weather. Everyone we dealt with, in person and on the phone, was very pleasant and professional. Would recommend this company to anyone.

This company is the worst. They are very rude and unprofessional to deal with. Office staff was unknowledgable and inconsiderate. I was very excited when I saw the product they had to offer but in the end decided otherwise because they were unprofessional to deal with. The sales person that contacted us was very rude amd didnt know how to deal with customers. My first experience with the company was terrible so I decided to go with another product. Not impressed by this company from the start. If you are looking for a company with good customer service/relations...i would recommend you look elsewhere. I was very disappointed!!!

Great experience with Bright Covers. The installers had a little difficulty with the instructions on how the structure was to be built, but they got it done and it looks great! Cant wait for Summer to get here so we can spend our days out on the deck. The installers were very considerate and worked well. Had it all done in one day. Even stayed longer to get it done because of a slight issue. Got a great price because of it being off-season, and its worth it. The work was done beautifully and the installers cleaned up after the work was done. Would highly recommend Bright Covers!

I am very pleased with my new porch roof! Having the transulcent roof was the major selling point for me since I dont get a huge amount of natural light in my backyard. This lets more light into my rooms adjacent to the porch. I felt the cost was in line with a conventional roof.The materials and installation are great. The office team and the installers were professional and easy to work with. The lines are clean and light, but the materials are high quality and look good.This is a great product provided by a good company, and there is nothing like it on the market!

Having just had my Bright Cover installed, let me say the job was done right and fast. Already Im receiving inquires on who did it. Also on how great it looks. The work of installing it was very professionally done and very quickly done right. I would like to thank Jim Roth, for all he did to make this happen on time and selling it to me.

Great product, we love it. Installation crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves spotlessly. Product seems to be top notch and sturdy. The salesman was knowledgeable with great ideas we hadnt thought of. Only problems we had was installation wait time, although we did order late in the season, and the financing we signed for pre-approval of half the cost no one knew anything about it when it came time to pay. Not a big problem for us but it is not what we had expected.

Best improvement I made to my house to date. The crew was very professional as well as the salesman. Even know I wasnt there at the time of the install, they didnt hesitate to call me to keep me updated. I have recommend them to others. And will continue to do so. Only thing I regret is I didnt have it done sooner.

We live in south east Michigan, and from start to finish it has been great working with Bright Covers. Our salesman, Andrew, was kind and professional. The installation crew, Will, Rob and Steve, were phenomenal. They were very personable from the very moment of arriving. The quality of installation is excellent to say the least, as are all of the materials. When they left, the work area was cleaned and we had a great product to enjoy.Update as of January 2020: We’ve been enjoying our Bright Cover for over a year. This past summer we were finally able to enjoy time on our deck. One issue that I have noticed is the downspout that they installed is peeling very badly and looks bad. I called and sent an email with pictures about 5 months ago and I never heard back. I’m not sure if they are willing to replace the downspout, or if that is just how it will have to be. I would just like to know either way. Also, the gutters are smaller than standard size, so I wasn’t able to get gutter covers on them, and they are very difficult to clean. The ladder won’t reach, so I have to get on top of the cover and carefully make my way over the cover to clean them. I’m fairly young and heathy, so I can do it, but it’s definitely not ideal.Update as of February 2020:Representatives from Bright Covers, Christine and Neil, contacted me about the peeling downspouts. Neil moved quickly, and had the peeling downspouts repaired as soon as he could. Robert, the technician who came out to replace the downspout, was friendly and did a great job. He was in and out in 10 minutes. A great experience. No regrets on our Bright Covers purchase. I only wish we could have gutter covers put on the gutters that Bright Covers installs. The gutters are a little too small to have the covers put on them.

The workers were very nice to deal with. They gave us a lot of information to deal with our cover. It is nice to have a shaded area on our deck to use with outside ventures. Been nice to be under it enjoying the rain and sun outside the cover, instead on our deck.

I am totally thrilled with my deck cover. The fellas who did the work were diligent in their endeavors, wasting no time completing the work and listening to my questions (suggestions—yes, suggestions from a woman!). They asked for feedback in a month as to whether all was working adequately. All staff with whom I had contact were awesome. Very impressive!!

The whole experience working with Bright Covers was wonderful. The salesman was knowledgeable, friendly and more importantly not pushy. The installation crew was courteous, hard working and did an outstanding job. The cover looks great and is a great addition to our home. We expect to enjoy our covered patio for many years to come.

We have been very pleased with the experience weve had with Bright Covers. The salesman that came to our home was extremely professional and not high-pressure. The men that installed it were also very friendly and worked hard. Even when one of them that was still in training made a slight mistake, they came back out within the week to fix it. We absolutely love our new brightcover patio cover. From start to finish it was great working with this company. I would like to also point out that not only did the installers do a great job but the lead installer Ed was just awesome. If I was not a owner of a company myself I would have head hunted him and stole him away. I cannot day enough nice things about this Brightcover company.

The quality of the product I would rate as excellent. It has made our deck usable during very hot summer afternoons. The installation staff came out on a Saturday and were very thorough. They took their time and were not in a rush to finish the job, even though it was a nice Saturday afternoon. The overall experience was great from beginning to end

The installation crew was very good. Had to redo the frame two times since the material sent didnt match the typical hardware setup. The installation crew worked it all out and got it installed. The info the salesman told us didnt quite agree with how the cover had to be installed. The crew worked it out and we are happy with result.

I requested an estimator appointment online. When the woman called to schedule the appointment, she stated that my husband had to be there as well. I own the home and have owned it since long before I even met my husband. I explained to her that he did not need to be present as I would be making the decision, but she refused to schedule an appointment unless we could both be there. Either they want to use high pressure sales tactics or they think its 1918 instead of 2018! Unbelievable and totally unacceptable!

The materials are top-notch and the installers were all-go and humorous, too. It was an end-of-year job which may have caused them to rush things a bit just on the verge of the Christmas Holiday. The weather has now improved to where Im out and about, and I see that the install is way out of level -embarrassingly so - and Im currently trying to get in touch with Bright Covers for remediation. There are two leaks along the wall but I expect those to be easily sealed. This is, to my understanding, the largest (and most costly) domestic project they have undertaken. It is our hope that the cost includes making it right.

We recently had a Bright Covers roof installed over our deck off of our sun room and we love it. It filters the sun light and keeps the sun room cooler. Great product.

Great company. Awesome product. Great installers.

Spent $14k on a cover. Rain comes in from all sides. Snow comes in from all sides. It sounds like a jackhammer in high winds. The best part.... about it was installed a month late. The sales guy promised a few weeks out for install and that was a totally false statement. The pitch agreement on before install was not the pitch they built the cover to. I’m dissatisfied and disappointed in soo many levels.Update: we learned from the city that they never pulled a permit for installation. The contract called out $$$ for pulling permits. We contacted bright covers and continue to get no answers and the run around.

Very friendly and professional company to work with. Patio cover provided was what the salesman, brochure, and website described. The installation was very quickly done and they cleaned up the site very well. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Always called back with an answer wen a question was asked. Salesman followed up after the installation.

Patio cover looks great and still allows the light to come in the windows where it is installed. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. Installation was scheduled soon after getting HOA permission.

We have an elevated deck that was not useable except early morning and evening. During the heat of the day we sat under the deck except in the rain. We began pricing a rain deflecton system but found Bright Covers. The system allows us to use both upper and lower decks. The system is great and the company is superior to deal with. Unmitigated disaster. Would give 0 stars if possible.I live in the Baltimore area. I paid in December 2015. Somebody finally contacted me in March, and they did half my job that month. It is now July and my job is still half done, with a pile of now-unusable material still sitting in my driveway.Many calls back and forth. They contracted a local company, but because they didnt have all the needed material they couldnt go further with the job. Repeatedly changing stories about whether new material is coming or not.I cant talk to the experience in Ohio, but if youre not there, avoid this company like a bill collector from the IRS.

Install was scheduled quickly after purchasing and installers worked fast and did a great job. Panels transfer light well into the covered windows which was a concern for us with solid covers.

Great people,great product! Looking forward to the day we can arrange an install!
