I had them repair the soles on my loafers, now they are like new. Received the shoes back when promised. Nice staff. Will definitely go back again.
Italian Cobbler truly knows what they are doing. My boots look amazing! I am so grateful they revived my most favorite boots. Amazing workmanship and customer service. I see why they have been a longstanding business. I am a quality material person with an attraction to superb customer service.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have saved my husbands favorite shoes a couple times now. We drive over an hour just to bring them business.
I love ❤ them. You get what you pay for.
Did such an amazing job with my Birkenstocks that I didnt recognize them when I went to pick them up. Bar none quality.
The Italian Cobbler has been the cobbler of choice for the Dept. of Theatre & Dance at BW since 2008. Theyre the best. We can always count on them to take care of our needs on time with the finished product being of the highest quality.
Took my husbands Harley Davidson leather jacket in to have the zipper replaced. The broken zipper was already removed but not replaced because I had taken it somewhere else first and they couldnt fix it. When I took it there she assured me that they could put new zipper in, fix holes in pockets/liner and clean the leather. I picked up a brand new jacket! Phenomenal job! I would highly recommend!
Best shie repair in Cleveland area.
They truly are artists. Can fix just about any shoe problem and make them look new again!
They do amazing work at reasonable prices.
Awesome place,great honest service
Great quality service! Best around.
Have had 2 coats repaired here now. First was a leather coat and needed a lousy manufacturers repair by glue cleaned out before they could stitch the seam correctly. Second a simpler zipper repair. Both items finished within a week at a fair price. So glad I found this shop!
Always good advice and product
Extremely helpful and sweet.
Great people,great service.
Always good and never had a complaint.
The owner was courteous. Knowledgeable And a big help to what I needed done to my shoes
Glenn did a great job refurbishing my Alden loafers. He installed new high quality soles, repaired some loose stitching, and cleaned and polished the shoes. His price was half of what it would cost to send them back to the factory for the same service. I will continue to bring my shoes to him for repair and wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to others.
What an experience! Last week I dropped off a pair of salt stained brown leather shoes that had faced the harsh Cleveland winter baring a few battle scars. After many failed attempts to remove the salt stains myself, the last attempt ended with the finish becoming uneven shades of brown, I decided to seek a professional’s help. Meet The Italian Cobbler. Now, my experience with cobblers hasn’t always been a pleasant one, but this time I was completely blown away. When I picked up my shoes, Glen gave me the big reveal. I handed him my ticket, he returned with a brown paper bag, once opened, he revealed this beautiful pair of brown leather shoes. The salts stains were completely gone and the finish of the shoe was absolutely superb. So I then proceeded to ask Glen a few questions about my shoe, such as, how much ware could I see from the out-sole, then Glen, being the awesome guy he is, gave me the full diagnosis of my shoe. From what products to use on my shoes, how take care of them, getting the best life out of my shoes; I could go on and on. Glen, hands down, is the best cobbler I have ever been to, a true expert. If you ever have a piece of leather that needs some love, go to The Italian Cobbler, you will not be disappointed!
Went in to get a zipper fixed on my coat! Both ladies I dealt with were great and helpful! Will go back! Recommend them! Thank you so much!
I have been looking for a quality cobbler to repair my Van Liers: an old pair of Dutch quality leather shoes with some added sentimental value (I know, its silly, but that doesnt make it any less important to me).Upon visiting the Italian Cobbler I decided to take a chance and have them have a go at it. I was not disappointed: They did a tremendous job. For as old as they are, the shoes look like new. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship, and the value of the services received. I will definitely return and can highly recommend this store.
Love the show repair service. Nice staff.
Simply the best. Among all the places Ive lived and all the cobblers Ive used this is the absolute best, hands down. You cant touch the quality. You cant beat the prices. Highly highly recommend!
Great place for Leather repairs and shoe repair. Custom sized saddlebags to fit my Suzuki Bergman Scooter. Nice job!
My Timberland Flume Waterproof Boot lost a single hook eyelet. (See attached photo.) I brought it here for repair. The Italian Cobbler wanted to charge me $75 to repair my boot. The cost of a new pair is $84 out the door. Also, the cost of the replacement hook eyelet is no more than $5. I told them that their price is ridiculously high, i could purchase a new pair for roughly the same cost!Later i took my boot to another cobbler who charged me $4.You be the judge!
We have tried just about every shoe repair and luggage repair shops on both sides of Cleveland over the past 10 years and have had nothing but great experiences with the Italian Cobbler. The counter people are very professional and helpful and the work that is done to our shoes, boots and luggage is first class. They are up front on what can be done to your pieces so you know what to expect when you pick them up. Prices are very reasonable for Cleveland.
Been going there for years, after surgery I ended up with one leg longer than the other, so I need shoes elevated which requires quite a bit of work. I used one place for a decade and they priced themselves out. I went from place to place and finally found Italian Cobbler. Their prices are reasonable, the work they do is excellent and considering how busy they are, I think its done timely. Very friendly bunch as well.
They do excellent work, and are nice to talk to.
They are amazing! I had a Warranty Repair Issue with a Zipper Closure on my Victorinox Luggage. Victorinox directed me to them as the only location in Northeast Ohio authorized to do the repair. I reached out by phone to confirm this. Extremely helpful and polite which was encouraging. When I arrived and they examined the Luggage. They would need to have the replacement part shipped. Given that I travel 40 weeks a year and had a trip the following week, I did not leave my case for fear the part would not arrive in time. I crossed my fingers that the zipper would hold out until the part came in and my schedule would allow for the repair. They called me that the parts arrived just a few days later! They were so kind and gracious to allow me to drop off my Luggage with a promise it would be done in time for my next trip. They were true to their word! Perfect Repair and Done When Promised! I Highly Recommend them! They even proactively ordered a set of replacement pieces should I have this issue occur again. That is Customer Service!
Very good work. Repaired my handles on my luggage, look like when they were purchased. Will be back.
BEWARE: DONT do business with the Italian Cobbler on Clague Rd in Westlake.Over two weeks ago I dropped of my leather jacket to have 4 patches sewn on. Went to see if it was done today (it was but they wont call you) and find two of the four are in the wrong place, they were swapped. So I told them and the girl at the counter pulled the ticket with the hand written instructions which were exactly what I pointed out. So far so good. They called the cobbler out and he starts by saying all patches are taped on in front of the customer and they have pictures. Wrong, they were not taped on with me there. So he produces pics of my jacket with the patches taped sitting on the counter. I said dude, I wasnt there when they were taped or the pictures taken. He taunted me by saying in a highly sarcastic manner Dude, we always do in front of the customer. Then he called another woman to the counter said its my wife, she says she did and isnt lying. I retort so youre saying the customer who paid in advance, and has written proof of instructions is? He told her to handle it and left the room. She never actually spoke a single word. I was loud and hot at this point. Told her to give me the twenty back for those two patches and Im out of there. The cobbler actually said he doesnt look at the tag, just goes by where they are taped. By rights I should claim they ruined my jacket and demanded $350. At the least I should have asked for the entire $50 I paid. But Im reasonable and honest, so I walked out with my jacket, $21 and a burning desire to drive them out of business. Im sure the tape and picture routine is so they might actually get it right. Well its not working. Remember the old adage, measure twice, cut once? All it would take is reading the tag. And not insulting your customers when theres proof they are right. I guess theres a reason they make everyone pay in advance, probably used to unhappy customers stiffing them. By the way, yes, your wifes lying, deal with it.
They do very good work at reasonable prices and a very nice staff.
Thorough service at a very reasonable price, but the turnaround was a bit longer than I expected (a week for a cleaning and heel replacement). Must mean they keep busy, with plenty of satisfied customers!
Best place ever
I had a really funky pair of platforms..they were a bit beat up..they fixed them..supplied new laces as i asked for a specific color..and then extra laces too..wow..I recommend this place..immensely...Good * Fine work~...great pricing also...take all your stuff there...Purses..even a guitar strap~...thank you everyone...
These folks are fast, professional, and reasonably priced. I live in Kentucky and shipped them a rolling briefcase to repair, and I was thrilled with the results.
Simply the best at what they do. I would not take my shoes anywhere else.
They do beautiful, professional work. Plus, they will give you advice, charge reasonalbe prices, and get the work done on time. The counter staff is first class. I have had them repair Coach purses, borrowed tents, and many pairs of shoes and boots including Birkenstocks that over 15 years old. I am a very pleased customer.
Utalian cobbler did excellent work the shoes after repair look wonderful thank you Italian cobblerM Beck
Helpful, gave me some advice before we did anything.
Was expecting a higher quality
Drove over an hour to this store to have the zipper on my suitcase fixed. They said to check back in a week. When I called, they said it was done so I drove back up to get my suitcase. I questioned if it was ever fixed as the zipper track was together but it didnt look like they took off the piece of fabric they needed to since it seemed like Id be able to tell if it was resewn on. The lady assured me it was absolutely fixed. The next time I used it, it came apart again. I didnt think to check that the track stayed together if I zipped it to the bottom instead of to the top. I emailed them multiple times about the issue, as I was overseas for 4 months and couldnt call. I never received an email back.
After months of trying to find someone I could trust with my most favorite shoes ever, I finally settled on the italian cobbler because they had the most positive reviews. Reviews for some places say you might have a hard time even tracking down the owner after dropping something off, or the repair takes an insane amount of time. But, this place is busy, which is a good sign. Theres tons of finished shoes tagged and waiting for pickup. That tells me that they can be trusted. The staff was polite, the price was very reasonable, and it took them less than a week to put my soles on. They were also shined when I picked them up :)This will be where I take all my leather work from now on and refer anyone that needs repairs. Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of my shoes!
They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Will use them again.
I mean, how many real cobblers are left in this throw away world? This guy is one of the best and thats verified.
Recieved very good advice about a purse that I have. Very helpful, friendly and informative advice over the phone.
Rude staff, unreasonable.... scammed me out of a new bag that was still under warranty (brand new bag) when I sent them to make a small repair. I told them to KEEP IT! Tried to charge me to repair it! WOW!!!!! Will never use them again! And will never buy Samsonite again, either!
I called about a luggage repair. The person who took the call walked me through the repair process including giving me cheaper alternatives. I got additional information luggage warranties. Thank you, I am a wiser consumer!!!
