The mechanic went above and beyond my requestI brought my vehicle in due to some battery charging issues.The mechanic found a loose wire between my alternator and control module.The mechanic then went above and beyond by cleaning up the wiring for the trailer lights that I had installed.

I have been going to Shaker Auto for over 15 years and experienced nothing but excellent service. Being a female I have the upmost trust in Mark and his crew.

Took my Equinox in to have the cv axle fixed. Very fair price and quality work. Would highly recommend. Also didnt try to sell me everything under the sun. Told me my issues which were all correct and said to give him a call if I wanted to do any further repairs. Appreciate it Shaker Auto Hospital! EDIT... Have been back for 2 more unrelated repairs on my vehicles and was treated the same if not better than the first time..... Will be a repeat customer as long as Im in Ohio

Wouldnt recommend. Took my old Dodge there a while ago to have some electrical work done. The price was more then I wanted to pay for some simple alternator wiring, but I was in a tight spot so I just wanted to get it done.The day comes that Im supposed to collect the car, and the guy calls to tell me that my radiator fan is not working, and that he would give me a quote to have it mended. He never calls back. I go to the shop to get my car, and he tells me he fixed it and that I need to give him an extra $40. He never asked my permission to do the repair, and when I asked him repeatedly to show me where the issue was, he sidestepped it. Which leads me to believe that he was BS-ing me (as the car never overheated before) and was trying to gouge me.Will never take my car here again. Would rather go to Lewis Electronics around the corner, very reasonable rates and they seem to be honest.

I went to shaker auto May 21st 2018 between 2 and 3 pm. When I walked in, I heard a bell that notifies when a customer has entered. No one came to the desk to see about me. I decided to give them a few more minutes but they still didn’t meet me at the desk. I walked over to the window and saw an older man with a black hat on and and older lady with gray hair. I stood there for about 5 minutes and they still didn’t acknowledge that a customer was there. I proceeded to knock lightly on the window. I told them that I was there to pick my car up. She asked dryly if I had my release form. She didnt sound pleasant at all. She proceeded to the back with out saying anything. I waited for her at the desk. Five minutes had went passed and I walked over by the window to see what they were doing. They were just standing there. I waited another 5 minutes without them letting me know what was going on. I knocked lightly on the window and The older man with the black hat ( he says his name is mark) yelled at me very loudly telling me not to bang on the window. I told him I knocked at the window. I was appalled. The customer service was unacceptable. I do not recommend doing business with such people. My experience was very unpleasant.

After trying out about 5 different shops in the area of a period of 2 years, this is the best shop around. They dont try to sell you anything you dont need, and do not talk down to you or try to make a big deal out of an easy fix like the other shops I went to. Mike is very easy to talk to, and from what Ive seen with other customers, he treats everyone respectfully. I have taken my car there is or 4 times for service.

I moved to Cleveland from Western NY two years ago after using the same small town mechanic for the 10 years Ive been driving. I cannot recommend this place more... I have a 2003 Subaru Outback that has some miles on it, so Im never sure what its going to give me, but i know theyll take care of me at shaker auto hospital. Thanks for everything!!

My car had engine light on, so I brought it to the Shaker Auto Hospital for diagnostics. Mark tells me that I will need a new throttle body that will cost $1,500. I approved that, but requested my old part back. A while later Mark calls and says that I dont need the new throttle body after all. Says that they changed the coolant & antifreeze and the light went off. HmmmBy the way, both coolant & antifreeze flush were NOT due at this mileage.On a prior occasion, Mark mentioned that one of his mechanics owns the same car as mine. I am not accusing anyone but cant shake it off. One heck of a coincidence, what would have happened had I not requested the old part back? Likely coughed up $1,500, thats what I am thinking.Following repairs, my car was kept in the shop for several days while being taken on a road test, whatever that means. Used up a quarter tank of gas.About a month later I went to another place for an oil change, and they werent able to do a tire rotation because the wheels were overtightened. The only other place I had my car in prior to that, was Shaker Auto Hospital. I dont know if this is a common practice to over-tighten the wheel lugs but this will result in yet another repair bill. It could have caused a huge problem per chance I happen to have a flat and no one would be able to take a wheel off.By the way, their warranty is one year for the parts and only 90 days for the labor. And even then, you have to inquire, otherwise you wont get your receipt stamped, so dont assume.Bottom line, I dont recommend Shaker Auto Hospital especially for the extensive repairs or for the turbo cars. I am not going to set my foot in that shop for the rest of my natural life.

I have been going here for 2 years and I only get top quality service at Shaker Auto. My family has been going here for all our repairs for 15 years. Highly recommend.
