I love this place! Seldom do you find the level of personal service and friendliness that I have always received from the fine people at Lakewood Optical. Whether its assistance in scheduling an appointment at a convenient time or making an emergency repair to eyeglasses (twice now), the wonderful people here (Sandi, Marin, and Joe) go out of their way to work with you and make sure you are taken care of. Ive been going here since I moved to Lakewood (and NEO) in 2012 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

I have to share the amazing experience I had today! I rarely have any downtime because I am a Realtor. Well, I did something unexpected and sat on my glasses! I needed to get to my next appointment and did not have time to handle this issue. I remembered a past client had recommended Lakewood Optical to me, so I thought let me call and see if they can help. Maria answered the phone and said just come on in, we would be happy to assist you! I arrived and was greeted by Maria and Tim who looked at my glasses and said we can fix the frame for you. Tim was able to bend them back and place new screws in the hinges. He said this is temporary, but this will buy you time. I asked can I just get new frames with the lenses I currently have? Maria looked at my lenses and said we have frames that will fit!! I was so amazed by the professionalism, knowledge, and expertise that these two individuals had! My transaction was completed in less than 30 minutes!! The cost of the frames and service was much less than where I had purchased these glasses which was Costco! Lakewood Optical is definitely a hidden gem that saved me time and money!! Thank you, Maria and Tim!!!

I love this place! Maria is absolutely like another mom to me. Joe and Tim do the best adjustments. Been coming here for almost 20 years. Definitely have spent too much money on glasses by my own choice. They have such a selection that I am always picking new frames.

I was in the area and needed to have my glasses adjusted and decided to pop in and see if someone could help me. The staff was extremely welcoming and happy to help. Tim Stamper adjusted my glasses within minutes and I was on my way. I love the staff at Lakewood Optical. They are always so nice!!! Btw, I love the new remodeled office space too!

When I broke my glasses, I was sure I was going to have to buy all new frames and lenses. I went into Lakewood Optical and they were able to find a great pair that fit my existing lenses. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff here are always kind and go out of their way to help you.

I used to go to Eyestein Optical to get my eye exams, so my father, brother and I grew a relationship with Tim, the man who’d adjust our glasses to little to no cost. It’s great because he moved over there and I get my glasses fixed for free. The ladies over there are nice and personable too. 5 stars.

My glasses dropped on the driveway of a house I was visiting. The lens came out and the frame was not right. I found Lakewood Optical in a Google search. I didnt have an appointment . They took me immediately and fixed my glasses in less than 10 minutes. They were wonderful and wouldnt let me pay. What a gem these people are. Thanks Maria, Tim Nd Sandy.

I was recently in Cleveland visiting family over the holidays, when I ripped my last pair of contacts.It was a struggle for me to contact my eye provider in Florida to assist me somewhere in Cleveland. Once I found Lakewood Optical, they truly went above and beyond to help! This was the day after Christmas, and their team was extremely professional, friendly, with ahhmaazzzing service! They really helped me in getting a pair of contacts quickly. I was able to see and enjoy the rest of my holiday vacation because of them. Went in without an appointment to get my glasses fixed. They were accidentally broken, and everyone on staff was so helpful! Found me new frames and swapped them out at no charge. I mentioned not being able to drive without my glasses, and the doctor said he would drive home if they couldnt find frames. I will be a customer for life.

Very poor customer service. The receptionist was ignorant of insurance and utterly unhelpful, not to mention terse and rude. I have been to other locations of Geauga Vision without issue. They have another office in Lakewood, and I would highly recommend that over Lakewood Optical.
