The coolest place! You just dont know what youll find around the corner and it just keeps going! Even the bathrooms are super cool! Coco herself just happened to offer us a tour! Super cool individual with her cool finds and unique chalk paint restorations! I wish we could buy one of her painted furniture pieces to bring back to SF! Def worth a walk around in this historic place where trollies used to travel in... literally such a cool place!
Before going back to NY me and my bf just happened to pass by this store it looked small but it’s actually big when you go inside the store!!! Has so many vintage things like the drawers and phones looked like the beginning of the 1900’a and how they are repainted formed into something beautiful. They let us do this piece for free but to take it it’s $10 the guy that’s in front of the store was super nice to us. The dog named coco caught my attention was ready to take him away lol 😂I think it was a worthy experience☺️for the art and vintage decorations it’s well preserved
As we were waiting for other stores to open, we came upon this gem. As we entered, we were greeted by Coco herself. She gave us a fabulous tour of this very eclectic space. It houses one of a kind creations and other artists rent space here to sell their work as well. When you visit Cleveland, you need to check this place out.
What an amazing find in downtown Cleveland today! Coco”s is such an eclectic cavern of wonders … and Coco is the perfect tour guide around the old underground which she has converted into beautiful boutiques. A colorful artistic canvas … who knew such a treasure trove existed from such a small doorway upstairs. Cannot recommend Coco’s enough . Go browse and enjoy!
Have yourself a tour of this space and take it all in. Coco is a mentor, a big Sis, fairy god mother, and a curator for the ages. Unforgettable. Her space is merely a reflection of her: giant, antique, colorful, eclectic, and show stopping. Her paintings and color blends are pure magic. Coco. Thank you for the hospitality. Thank you for lending your space and for pioneering a lane that no one else could ever. We adore you. We’ll see you next time we are in Cleveland.- Natasha & Mr. Snow 🧡
I’ve been a tenant of Cocos chalky paint for almost 3 years and I absolutely love it! As the owner of Regal Blvd my clients really enjoy the beautiful ever evolving and expanding scenery the shop offers. The owner and the staff are super friendly and the products speak for them self! Come by and shop with us I promise you won’t be disappointed
Such a cool place in downtown Cleveland to stop by and visit! Coco is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable and we were so thankful that she showed us the underground space and let us wonder around. There are so many cool things to see in the shop! Highly recommend stopping here if you’re visiting the city.
Stumbled upon Coco’s Chalky Paints after visiting some local spots during my first stay in Cleveland. My friend and I were greeted at the door and given a grand tour. We were completely in awe/fascinated by all of the unique pieces, the kind tour guide, the event space, and the separate spaces rented out by local artists! There’s definitely a lot to look at and appreciate here. Would recommend 10/10!!
I love, love, love this shop (more like a boutique feel) for browsing, unusual, beautiful, unique finds (i.e., jewelry, furnishings & decor, etc.,) and just casual convo. Came in today for earrings, but left out with the tall lamps I’ve been looking for. Each visit, that is never ending on 2 levels, with an event center, chalking, and so much more, is always a new and different experience ❤️❤️❤️.
Have you ever wondered what walking under the shadows of the rainbow looks like? Well, Cocos chalky paints invites you into a colorful world under 5th street arcade. It feels like going through Alices looking mirror! Tiny tables and cozy ottomans can be discovered under the lights of over a hundred chandeliers. You can definitely spend hours admiring their beautiful decor. Its worth dropping by.
Coco’s chalky paints reminds me of a magical place with never ending beautiful pieces of work. Coco herself is such a nice person who greeted us right at the door asking if we wanted a tour. the place is beautiful and her work is just amazing. i definitely recommend coming here if you live or visit cleveland it’s such a hidden gem.
What an amazing, incredibly unique place filled with such good energy, unique art, furniture and so much more! Im visiting from Arizona and thrilled to have visited this gem! Meeting Coco was the cherry on top. Her story of resilience, creativity and perseverance touched me. Ok, now her chalk paint. Cant wait to get back home and start some projects with this magic. Im inspired and excited, thank you Coco! ❤️
I was really surprised I never expected that they had so much space for all there creative endeavors. The art breath taking, the atmosphere bright and joy full, the people kind and hard work on there goals. I encourage everyone to go if you need a little inspiration for your own art or a good smile.
We just happened upon this store while browsing in downtown Cleveland. Coco gave us a tour of her enormous and beautiful store, giving us some of the history of the building; very interesting! So many interesting things to look at, and my kids even got to create painted tiles - they really enjoyed it! I would highly recommend stopping in!
Coco’s is an amazing place to go visit! Me and my friend was just walking by and we noticed the plant boat right away... we walked inside to take a better look. We were offered a TOUR and to our surprise... there was a downstairs FULL OF ART! & not just any art... Furniture Art!During the tour, it was such a sight to see from chairs, tables, bathtubs, dressers, cabinets, etc. The ladies room was a full-size locker room with showers, robes, huge mirror, hairdryer, seating area, etc. They even had an events room that caters to hosting parties! After the tour, we painted our own tiles! I won’t tell you the process... just know you have to go try it! When we went it was 2 for $20.Tip for my ladies: FYI the painting does get messy. If you have nails: wear gloves and if you dress nice put paper towels across your lap.
I absolutely live this beautiful creative space! Unique and elegantly restored vintage pieces that can enhance any space of your home. Coco and her wonderful staff are so helpful, you’ll feel like you are shopping with friends. I have been looking for a unique way to refresh a piece and the chalk powder process is what I’ve been seeking. She provides instruction on how to use it and you can even check out the website for more support.Looking for something to ground and connect to your spiritual side? That’s here too.
Lovin’ this shop big time! Everywhere you look there is something fascinating and unique to see.. ESPECIALLY the bathroom/locker room. I also wanted to note how awesome it is that there is an event room here to host parties, etc. Lastly, the best part was the girl who gave us a tour was so kind and genuine. I feel good employees really say a lot about a company. Happy I found this place ! 5 stars is just not enough!!
This place is a must see! It looks unassuming from the outside, but it’s like Narnia. The lower level is any art-lover’s dream. It’s a mix of industrial, eclectic, and vintage. The art itself is outstanding and so innovative. If you’re looking for unique, go here.
Such a gorgeous space for creative minds to explore! We got the full tour from Coco through the beautiful Narnia display and were blown away!
Such a beautiful and welcoming shop! We got a lovely tour and were greeted by Coco the Dog! Also absolutely adore the Narnia theme! Kelly invited me to come see it! Highly recommend to come check out the shop!
The most glamorous shop I’ve ever experienced. Coco gave us a tour of her shop and It’s gorgeous. She creates a chalk paint powder, and her space is arranged with furniture she repurposed using her product. In addition to the beautiful shop, she also has mini shops in the space. Including a plant shop, an exhibit for artists, and much more!! This company is also black owned. Definitely visit!!! You’ll be amazed!!
My friend and I stumbled in after having brunch because the dog CoCo came out. We got a tour from the owner who showed us around, have us a nice history lesson about the building back in the 20s-40s!! She is so lovely and inspirational and this place is BEAUTIFUL! You absolutely have to visit! There is so much to see!
Such a cool and unique shop! The owner is so sweet and gave us a cool tour to show about the space. Great use of an old space. She has some amazing items and products!
What a marvelous place! Coco takes pieces from the side of the road, old, worn, disposed and revitalizes them. Jess gave me a tour and I was completely smitten by all the art, creativity, inclusivity, and eccentricity of the store! Prices are fair and there are a ton of different stores within this one. A healer, an antique shop, art, furniture, a seamstress, and more! You can definitely find a great gift for a loved one or center piece for your home here!
We absolutely loved this place! We came downtown for one specific purpose, but decided to do a little exploring. There are really unique finds at this one of a kind place. Make sure you explore the lower level, and check out the party rental space!
Such a beautiful compilation of creative minds and spirits. We were in Cleveland for just one day and this did not disappoint. Every nook and cranny offers something different and unique. If you have the time you have to go there even just to see all the beauty!!
Really neat place! The owner, Coco, gave us a personal tour. She has transformed the space and made it her own while still leaving remnants of its history as a fitness center and trolley stop. Inside are various shops, including art studios and an antique shop, as well as upcycled furniture given a new life with Cocos incredible paints. Very cool ambience, friendly service, and good prices.
Would have totally missed it, the history and art in this place is amazing! super original and eclectic. Coco was so nice and gave us an awesome tour! totally recommend checking this place out :)
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!
Coco was such a sweet and welcoming person, giving us a personal tour of the location. Coco has made excellent use of one of the most interesting buildings in Cleveland, not to mention the cool items inside! Check it out for sure!!
The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The tour us a lot of fun. I could spend hours walking around. Its beautiful and clear that they pit a lot if time into it.
Absolutely beautiful! I was given a great tour of the entire establishment by Jess. I was shown amazing art work, and given an abundance of information of the story behind Coco’s. 10/10 experience, highly recommend!
Blown away with the talent in this place. Walking in they said it gets bigger and it did! So much space of beautiful art that is locally done! If you are in the area it is a must spot in and see it!
My mom and I were walking through the arcade and stumbled upon this gem of a place! Super interesting history and lots of unique shops hidden in the store (which is much more expansive than it looks on the outside). Coco herself was working on different unique furniture while we visited. Will be back!

When we walked in, we had no idea Jess was about to show us the most magical place ever! So many cool things to see and photo ops! I can’t wait to come back when I have more time to explore!
This place is so cool! It was built in the 1800s! A lot of the furniture, walls and floors are manually painted and all of the employees are super nice. Such a fun place to visit if you’re walking around in Cleveland, you should definitely check it out!!:)
This place is an eclectic gem of downtown. Inside in the 5th street arcade, it looks like its just a paint and plants store. But inside, theres a block to block basement to explore of crazy furniture, art, and an amazing antique store. As a downtown resident its cool to have this haven of a spot to explore and relax, I highly recommend checking it out.
Really cute store! The underground section was so unexpected and was really fun to explore. Everyone who works here is very nice and I will definitely come back in the future!
This place is an experience! It is huge, unique and welcoming. The employees are kind and passionate about the place and there is a lot of very cool thrifted items for sale. The art is 10/10 and the environment is awesome. Would recommend to anyone who likes art and upclycled items!
Was walking by and decided to make a stop in the store and felt immediately welcomed! Had a personal tour of the entire shop and had a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone walking by
This place is absolutely amazing! Everything is beautiful and colorful, and it’s especially cool because of the history of the building and the pieces that have been refurbished! The light fixtures are beautiful and all the furniture is gorgeous. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!!!!
Stumbled upon this place today! So much bigger than you’d think. The people are so friendly and helpful. So many different things to look at! Would recommend coming with friends, family, or by yourself.
Met a really cool gentleman on my way to the store who gave me a tour of the store. The entrance of the store it self looks pretty vintage but as you go further down it starts unraveling into a bigger vintage art. Loved the store…
Stopped by Coco’s today for my appointment with Awaken The Healing. I got a tour with Jess. She was very informative, what a fun & special space! I loved it!
