Absolutely fantastic! Drinks and food were spot on. The bar even carried several rare whiskey bottles. We purchased a pour of blade and bow, however it was missing the key so their was no way to identity the series. The cocktails had a good balance between the alcohol and mix-ins. We each purchased a main course which was more than enough to carry leftovers home.

Ah man! I can write a book about Dante. Let’s start with the ambience. It’ll feel like you took a trip somewhere without leaving Cleveland. The staff are incredibly welcoming. Everyone was so attentive. Okay, food time. I ordered the tasting portion of the Shrimp Ravioli. It was amazing. It was perfectly sour and lemony. For my main course, I ordered the Angus Beef Ribeye. I asked for medium and got a perfect medium. The vegetables that came with it were really good too. My friend ordered the Vegan Lasagna and loved it. It had cashew paste and was a delight. Overall, this was a much needed great dining experience.

Excellent brunch, my omelette was perfect, the hashbrowns were perfect, and you cant go wrong with the mimosas!! Ill be back!

The Waffle with peach cobbler and strudel was amazing! I ate every drop! The potatoes are well seasoned and delicious as well. The waiter rolled his eyes because we called him over to replace a glass, that a fly flew into. The food was worth 5 stars!

This place is top notch! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of our way to make our night out for our family of 4 special. The food was excellent and prepared to perfection. Our server, Alex, recommended that I get the Malbec and it was probably one of the best malbecs I’ve ever had. Thank you, Dante! ❤️

Went to Dante’s next door for brunch. I had the steak and eggs. My wife had the crab cake eggs Benedict. I had a hot olive Bloody Mary and the thirsty dog collab beer. Service was as good as the food. Absolutely amazing. It’s only open for 5 hours a week and if you happen to be available between 10am and 3 pm and in the area, you need to check out this brunch.

After a skydiving adventure me and my girlfriend secured last minute reservations. How lucky! The menu is simple but varying in options. I chose the 5 course off menu sampling. Everything I had was astonishingly delicious, and I have a country palate. Dante himself even checked on my table to ensure quality service.. It is a high end restaurant so keep dress in mind. I was OUT of place.

Every time has been a top notch experience. This time the coolest, chefs table in the kitchen, 5 course tasting. Staff was great, service was great, atmosphere was amazing, even got to meet Dante!!I have 1 teeny issue. I just want a little bit more out there for the tasting. Both times, it has started off with something a little different exciting and then kinda worked back safer.I asked our server about this and she explained what I thought... Its more appealing, its broader, it helps the person in the group who isnt that adventurous. Dont get me wrong... The dishes were great... Oh and did I mention huge for a tasting... You will leave full.Lobster salad, duck ragu pappardelle, sea bass, ny strip... Ugh the cassoulet... And two desserts, blueberry cake... Unreal, and a cherry cheesecake cake. I needed a stretcher to get out.Its a fun experience, definitely worth it, and I will be back.

I came to Dante on my birthday and February and it was a phenomenal experience. The cuisine was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant was energetic and classy. I was most impressed by the service here. We had an issue with one of our dishes but the server and manager handled it above and beyond the expectations. This is hands down one of Cleveland’s best restaurants. Cannot wait to come again!

I started off with the oysters which were quite fresh. The sauce that was on it was overpowering the taste of the oysters in my opinion but the waiter was amazing and he got me a plain oysters with lemon replacement which was wonderful! They accommodated me and I really appreciate that. The blue crab soup was really good as well! The favabeans in it were the best Ive ever had and I usually cook with fresh favabeans that I take out of the pod myself. I had the red fish as my main entree and it was tender and just lovely! The only complaint I had was the the sauce it came with was a touch too sweet for my taste but probably perfect for the American palate. The avocado tempura was the perfect texture with the crispiness of the light breading and the creamy richness of the avocado inside. The daikon and cabbage were fresh and delicious as well! Id come back here again!

My husband and I got the 5 course meal and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food was exquisite. It’s been a while since I had to close my eyes to just eat a steak. Christopher was the best server, timed everything perfectly, and made excellent wine suggestions. Christopher is the new standard by which we will measure all other servers. We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

Disappointing. Food was good but not amazing. Table we were seated at was by the entrance near hostess stand, so it was chilly had to put my coat on my legs and busy with people coming and going. Chandeliers were cool. Couldnt really enjoy the ambience as we were against it wall with frosted glass above. Our waiter, Chris was blah. I felt he was disappointed when we did not order the $89 per person tasting menu, which was a 5 course Chefs choice surprise. Had to ask for ground pepper for my soup and husbands salad. Had to ask for grated Parmesan for my pasta. My food was bland. No flavor pop.

I love the decor. It was full to capacity. I didnt like being tucked in a corner. The food was good. I had banana foster French toast and potatoes.

Great vegan options, and some of the tastiest vegan food Ive had. Service was awesome. So the chef and wait staff deserve high praise, five stars. But, the host (I think the manager?) sat us at basically the worst table in the restaurant, while the place was less than half full. When we asked to be seated elsewhere they put us two tables away, only slightly better. Treating people this way is not the way to earn repeat business. I suppose takeout will be the only way I will return for their amazing food.

Loved the experience here! We tried the vegetarian & non-vegetarian tasting menu. All the 5 courses were loaded with seasonal fresh ingredients, made meticulously standing up to the fame. We especially loved the desserts - choux puffs with the strawberry ice-cream was amazing. Note that the tasting menus arent revealed until the plate comes to the table. With unique decor, the ambience certainly stands out, however, the place was noisy than we would have liked.

Tried the experience. It was good but nothing spectacular, expected a lot more. 5 courses- sashimi to start was great. Pasta dish was okay, fish (bass) was good, steak was good, and then followed by a pallet cleanser and desert.Overall Id give 3.5 stars, I was experiencing all very good dishes, where the sashimi was the best and the rest not spectacular. Wouldnt come here again to be honest as the atmosphere isnt that great. Drinks were also above average, but not great.

We received wonderful service! We went with the 5 course meal and wine pairing, which was well worth the price! The time between each course was very reasonable, as were the portion sizes (not too much, not too little). The food taste and quality were amazing, as were the wines.

The best dining experience of my life! We dined at the chefs table and did the 7 course tasting menu; in the 40 years Ive been on this Earth Ive never tasted anything like that. Amazing!!

The food was flavorful and intricate. Servers were attentive, without being overbearing. They even replaced our candle when it burned out. Their 5 or 7 course tasting menu changes weekly and includes a full vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free offering. An extensive selection of wines is also available. The five course tasting menu provides a good portion of food total, including dessert. Valet parking was efficient as well.

Attended a small wedding in the event room. It was quite quaint & cozy. Staff was friendly and efficient. Especially Kira.Dinner was delicious. After dinner hors doeuvres were succulent. Had a great time.

What a treasure! Great food in a really cool setting, an old bank. You can even eat in the vault! Really a terrific restaurant. We hadnt been there since pre-pandemic times. It was always terrific and it still is. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a group of 10. Very attentive service, great attention to details and special requests. Our server Derek (hope I spelled it right!) was a real pro, and has the coolest moustache...look for him when you go to Dante!

This review is going to read like a Bigfoot sighting because I have a ton of amazing things to say but only one okay photo 🤣. That’s because the food and company was so good. The level of food, service, and value is amazing. This is one of the best experiences in Cleveland. I’m thankful for it!

My girlfriend and I went here on Thursday night for a belated Valentines dinner, And we had a fantastic time. The wait staff was awesome, and very personable. We did the 5 course dinner, and we were not at all disappointed. I believe only one thing was off the menu, which was the beet appetizer, and That was one of my favorite things all night. The creamy with the crisp, the cool with the warm, and the presentation... Fantastic. Each course was individual, creative, and full of surprise. The ambiance of the restaurant is very cool, and just an all-around excellent experience. I know well be back.

Nice atmosphere, but the food was not the best. They tried to make simple foods fancy but really ruining the true deliciousness of basic foods.

This is a Michelin quality menu without any pretense. The result is a fine meal with fresh, local ingredients without any of the stuffiness. Actually, thats my only criticism of the restaurant; the atmosphere is not restful, the crowd is a bit rambunctious, and the appointments arent super refined. Overall, though, none of that detracted from what was by every other measure, a magnificent meal.

One of the best dining experiences Ive ever had. My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday. A splurge for us but worth it! I couldnt decide what to order because it all sounded good so I got the 5 course tasting with wine. It was perfect. Even the wines were impressive. Our waiter was great and informative on the food and wines.

Had Easter breakfast at Dante Next Door and everything was absolutely fantastic. We were reading the menu and we literally wanted to order everything. We basically did and shared portions with the table. Thank you, Dante for stopping by to say hello. When the owner/chef greets guests on an Easter Sunday, it says a lot about a person. Outstanding service! Our waiter really made the evening. Best meat board ever. We didn’t even make it to full entrées after we kept ordering tasting and appetizer portions to sample everything!! Can’t wait to go back.

Best brunch in Tremont Ohio!

We went for the five course tasting menu for my birthday. We got the wine pairing with it. The food was absolutely amazing and each course was better than the next. It was a very Seafood heavy Meal which was perfect for us but something to note if you do not like seafood. The three stars are because I found the service to be quite lacking. I started to feel pretty forgotten about. Twice our food came before I wine and so we just sat there while our food got cold waiting for our wine pairing. And our server always seemed very rushed when he would come to see us. We did valet since there is no parking. I would recommend to do the same. We will return I just was disappointed that night in our service.

Always difficult to find only one item to order... Service and food that will keep you coming back.

Food, patio and maitre d were good. Waiter was efficient but could improve attitude. Nothing extra was done for celebration so asking on reservation was not needed.

I had an incredible birthday dinner here with my twin sister and large family. They sat us at a long table in the back right by the vault which was lovely. Our server, Scott was wonderful and so was the manager phill. Nothing bad to say. Food was phenomenal. Ambiance, music, lighting, everything is perfect. Dante exceeded my expectations. My wife and I had the five coarse tastings, and none of the dishes were terrible. As a matter of fact, all the dishes were excellent. The tasting with wine pairings is expensive, but if you enjoy food, it’s worth every penny. My only negative is that now I’m spoiled and don’t want to eat any other way. It was the best dining experience I’ve had since NYC.

What an incredible evening enjoying the chefs table! We began with our very attentive and knowledgeable server, Scott. He walked us through every detail of our experience, and we never felt rushed throughout our 3 hours! Our cocktails, entrees and dessert were exceptional! It was interesting to watch the kitchen in action...we will definitely visit again, and thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing food, well worth the wait for them to open! Very attentive staff, never had to want or ask for anything. Would definitely recommend the crabcake eggs Benedict. Lively atmosphere even during these socially difficult covid-19 times! Everytime I return to Cleveland this place will be on my list of attractions.

If you like lamb chops they might have the best preparation Ive ever had with this dish. Everything was delicious highly recommend if you get a chance to stop it

Visited this Sunday for brunch and it was not good. We all had floaters in our drinks hair was in my breakfast potatoes plus the vegetable omelet I ordered was missing the peppers it came with was dry I didn’t even eat it. The waiter never asked us did we want a refill on water or drinks I’m pregnant and had nothing to take my vitamins with also my husband had a bug in his ginger ale. This place was a waste of money. This was my first visit and last.

Everything was amazing. Large portions. The waffle had a great flavor. Highly reccomend!!

We went to Dantes for the first time to meet up with an old friend from college and meet his wife at their favorite restaurant. We had a leisurely meal with excellent service and great food. We got to sit inside the old open bank vault for a cozy feel. The homemade ice cream and sorbet sampler dessert should not be missed.

Lovely brunch. The crab cake benedict is wonderful.

The staff was great and the atmosphere was fantastic! I loved the decor. My food was amazing also. I had the salmon Benedict, homefries, and got to try the braised short rib. The flavors were phenomenal. Although the brunch was more expensive than we planned to spend...I have to admit, it was definitely worth the price.

I think we were there about a month ago. Had a pasta appetizer that was great,going back for the ultra large portion. We had the big steak,30 some ounces and I think I want to put that in the steak hall of fame. So good it was ridiculous. Our server was from heaven;she was truly outstanding. Came for brunch for the first time. Our food was fine but the service left a lot to be desired! Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, we had long waits for everything- water, food, check, etc- a pretentious waitress, and had to ask multiple workers for something as simple as salt and pepper for the table. Unimpressive and I will not be returning.

Mostly good experience here at Dante. Only negatives were my entree (lamb tenderloins) were slightly luke warm and it was incredibly dark inside the restaurant once the sun went down. Other than that, the dishes were delicious, especially the lamb ravioli appetizer. They serve bread as well, and it comes with a hummus spread just fyi. It was a little loud inside the restaurant, but not too bad.

Love this brunch spot! It has delicious food. And cool small scenery.

Dante has set an incredible standard of compassion for the Tremont neighborhood. In these difficult times the restaurant and its staff have been out on the street once a week to give free meals to the community. Great atmosphere... unique take on food

First time there. Lots of different and interesting options on the menu. Burrata was so great but I asked to add Extra Virgin OO. it makes it perfect. The polenta was surprisingly so good! (Was doubting the texture but ... quite savory flavorful and enjoyable), then my fish was just perfect and enjoyed every bite to the end ! Will be back.

Went here for early dinner around 6:00. Used open table to make reservations and got a table as soon as we walked in. The dress code is relaxed, nice jeans are fine and I even saw a few people in nice t-shirts when we were there. Business casual is definately fine. The wait staff and chef are very allergy aware. When ordering, just let them know your allergy or dietary restriction and they will let you know if a menu item can be catered to you. This also goes for the chefs choice 5 course meal (although we did not order that). Some of the menu items also have sample sizes, so you can try a few things and not break the bank. Very large wine selection ranging from 40$ to over a thousand. They even had a vegan dessert option!

My first time ever being a guest at Dontes was amazing.. Im some what of a food critic.. Im not the type of guest that will settle for not getting what is asked.. meaning Ive dined with family/ friends who recieved undesirable food but decided against to ask for what they want because they didnt want to Inconvenience the wait staff.. but instead sit and complain or pick over what they didnt want.. thats never been me.. yes I do ask with respect for my food to be done right.. BUT here at Dontes they deliver quality food and the wait staff is amazing.. not one complaint and even though my cheese for my grits wasnt given, the food was so good I never noticed.. the Atmosphere was inviting and the music being played was upbeat and well diversed.. Im intensapating my return!!

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Service and atmosphere was good, though entrees were a little disappointing. My husband ordered the venison - the meat was cooked fine, but the mushrooms were undercooked / chewy and everything was Luke warm. Likewise my scallops were luke warm and tasted like they had been sitting out for some time. They also charged us for our birthday dessert - a little tacky. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could - for the price, it wasn’t terrible, but not sure we’ll be back anytime soon.
