We visited today and were sad to hear it was their last day in business. The store closed forever as of 1/18/20. Many good kind folks have helped our family build our collection over the years and they will be missed. We wish you the best.

Great store! There are a lot of items for the train enthusiast. Too bad they are in the process of liquidating and will not be open much longer. If you are looking for items in O gauge or Lionel Trains, you better get there soon!

Mr. James inside is great man and sure the hours might short and week days and weekends is buzz kill, but the man has been in this post for generations. I look for everything I need in N-scale rolling stock really nice and cheap at Trading Post Trains Shop.

One of the best train shops in NE Ohio, takes you right back in time. Ive spent so much money there that Jim the owner would recognize my voice over the phone. I relocated to Arizona back in 04, I really miss this place.

Love this place, travelled from Chagrin Falls on the recommendation of a friend and was totally worth the drive. Biggest selection around and friendly advice from the owner. When he saw I was a novice he suggested a great starter set rather than letting me break the bank.

Our family just went there for the first time this afternoon to buy a train set for around our Christmas tree. We had been to another local hobby shop but the prices were so much higher, we couldnt bring ourselves to make a purchase. We saw the Trading Post Train Shop on our way home a few days later and on a whim, we decided to stop. I am so glad we did! Not only were the prices comparable to what we found online (some a little more, some a little less), their customer service and selection was excellent! I cant say enough good things about this shop, we will be a loyal customer in the years to come. Thank you Trading Post!
