Great experience. All the guys were professional and polite. They work very hard with the number of people showing up. They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and only fixed that. They are very affordable and better priced then any other place I called. No appointments so I suggest showing up as early as you can, even if its a half hour before they open, because the cars line up. They work as fast and efficient as they can. I’ve been coming here for years for exhaust services. My most recent visit was amazing. I was seen quickly and taken care of just as fast. The guy working ( sorry don’t remember his name) was friendly and took care of my car needs.

My experience with Affordable muffler was a breath of fresh air. They put my car on the lift, quickly diagnosed the issue, and gave me a no obligation FREE estimate. Ron did a great job repairing the exhaust at a fair price, and his work is covered by a 2 year warranty. Dont expect an espresso machine or shuttle service, but if youre looking for car guys that do a great job, you found the right place.

Amazing, trustworthy business. They do mufflers and mufflers only but they do great work at incredibly affordable prices and they get you in and out pretty quickly. They wont do more work than you need and they wont overcharge for what they do. They dont do appointments so do try to get it early! Highly recommended for any muffler work you need...theyve saved me hundreds of dollars over the past couple of years.

Great service. Came in due to stolen catalytic converter, told me they can order the parts right there and fix it right there. And sure enough within an hour and half I was good 👍🏿. Do not regret coming here. Will definitely get my service again in the future.

My catalytic converter was stolen from my Escape. I called over 10 auto repair and all of them said it would be 2 weeks or more to fix my car. A mechanic recommended Affordable Muffler and I took my car in the next morning. Within 1.5 hours my car was fixed and I was driving back home to finish my vacation. The staff was very kind and pleasant, the repair price was extremely reasonable, and my car was fixed in a very speedy time. Excellent experience.

Good price. Backs up warranties always busy for a reason. I manage a shop who does not weld we replace exhaust where we need good flanges or non rusted piping to tie into which can get very pricy. I recommend this place to customers every day because their work is solid and reliable. If you need your exhaust fixed this is the only place I would suggest

I was referred to these guys from several people. I spoke with owner and stopped by midweek to do a muffler repair. He told me I could not drop off vehicle as they had no room and I set up to drop off Friday morning. I got there at 830am and he and another employee were in shop talking. I asked him if I could leave my truck as I had to head out to get to work. He would not take my truck til 900am. All is he had to do was take my keys and he would not accept my vehicle. I ended up going somewhere else and would not recommend these guys.

While repairing my car I broke the exhaust pipe and just needed it to be re-welded back. I took my car to affordable muffler for the repair. Keep in mind my exhaust is modified and I do most of the work on my car. Upon examining my exhaust the service tech asked the manager for a 2nd opinion. The manager suggested that my entire exhaust needed to be replaced from the catalytic converter on back lol. It DIDN’T. I know it didn’t. I believe they saw that my car is modified and tried to UPSALE me a product I didn’t need. They said I needed 2 new mufflers, which nothing was wrong with them and instead of offering me what was already in place which was 2 flowmaster mufflers they suggested a different brand which once again I didn’t ask for or need. The price for all the work would’ve been $500+. I told them no. I ended taking my car to NORWOOD DISCOUNT muffler on the east side. They were able to do the necessary repair for $54!!! They fixed only what I needed and did not upsale me a product I know I didn’t need. It’s one thing to get money out of people who have no clue about cars but it’s one thing when you try to get over on a person who knows about their on car and just cars in general. Tell me how affordable muffler said they needed to redo the entire exhaust and the next shop fixes what I asked to be fixed end of story. I’ll never take my car or suggest anyone going there again. I’m sure they do good business but it was a big turnoff trying to sell me something I didn’t ask for or wanted. Wasted my time waiting in line. NEVER AGAIN!!

I just left their shop it was the best experience in auto service I have ever had! I drove up for an estimate and they had my muffler issue fixed in under 30 minutes for a phenomenal price. They actually show you what they found and explain what is needed to fix it. Oh and the owner and his staff are all great. Easily worth the drive

A few months back I got a muffler delete here for my car. I know this is not a performance exhaust shop, but the quality couldve been much better. The men working there were all very nice, but unfortunately the work was not. To start, the work they did was extremely loose and this is due to the fact that they only used one of the factory hangers. The setup could move with a light press of a finger. They also put my exhaust tip on extremely low, creating a gap that I did not like. I think they did this due to the fact that they knew it could hit the bumper if it were any higher because of how loose it was. Overall my experience while at the shop was good, but the work just was not. The price was fair but only if the quality of work was better.

I have taken all of my vehicles here. Also my Moms, sisters, girlfriends vehicles there too. I work on my own cars, but when it comes to an exhaust, I take it to Affordable Muffler. They are always busy so get there early. Affordable Muffler will give you five start treatment.

I took my car here the other day because the muffler had been rattling nonstop for the past few weeks. Dropped it off and they cut open my exhaust, removed what was making it rattle, and welded it shut. It was ready for pickup in less than 2 hours on a very busy looking day. I went to Affordable Muffler a few days after my exhaust pipe broke off from my catalytic converter after getting stuck in the snow. I went in and within minutes they gave me an estimate that was extremely affordable. They did tell me what was wrong and what really needed to be done but I explained the value of my car exceeded the cost of replacing the catalytic converter and they were still willing to do a quick fix for less than $100. They literally had my car in and out in less than 30 minutes and did an amazing job welding the broken exhaust back together. My car is running great and is quiet!!! I highly recommend them. The service I received was excellent, they didnt try to get money out of me AND did it within one day when I thought it would take a couple days. I know where Ill be going for all my car repairs!!! 5 stars across the board!

Products and and price are good however it is first come first serve so youll have to wait anywhere from 1 to 2 hours or you can drop it off and come back later.

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry with over 200,000 miles on it. I didn’t want to put a lot of moneyinto a 20 year old car. They replaced the exhaustsystem for half of what a national chain brand muffler shop would have charged me! AffordableMuffler is definitely affordable!!

Hard not to recommend this place really. Very fast, I was not even in there 30 minutes total. Plus they took me out and showed me what was wrong and how’d they’d fix it quickly. Was about $500 bucks less than a local shop quoted that had changed my oil in the past year, didn’t ask for the quote they just did it with the oil change. When the noise finally got unbearable and louder I took it here for a another quote before dropping $550+. This place said $65 and that it’d take 15 minutes. No BS here, just work getting done it seems!

Wanted custom work done, which is only done on weekdays, will return later this week.

Was amazed by this places great prices (less than $200 for something I was quoted $750 and over a $1000 at other places), friendly services, and extremely quick completion of work (was in and out in less than 45 minutes without an appointment)! I am very pleased with my overall experience and very thankful somebody referred me to them!

Had an oxygen sensor changed, the technician didnt put the weather grommet back on the vehicle, broke wire wrap, causing mold, and premature failure for the part, $160 down the drain, and water intrusion. Thanx

They did great work on my Buick this morning. Fast service replacing my catalytic converter. I was done in about half an hour once they got my car on the lift. I would suggest getting there early as a “line” forms before they open. And by the time they actually opened the office the line was at least 15 people deep. Shows you that they do excellent work. And I must agree. Excellent work and a fair price.

I am absolutely appalled by the service we received. Not only did they barely fix what was wrong, but the car came back WORSE then when it got there. It should have been a simple weld to fix a hole but yet when we picked up the car the muffler was barely hanging on by a broken bracket. Yeah the hole is fixed but what happened to the bracket?! Wasnt like that when it got dropped off!On top of that they NEGLECTED to tell us there was severe rust forming on the frame of the car. The next place we took it to told us the the car was unusable and incredibly dangerous to drive. Giving these guys $130 to do more damage and let us drive away in a death trap was a mistake. Dont waste your time

Was not treated like a customer was judged as a person who could not pay 💰, I paid 270$ for a muffler on a 2004 pt cruiser the guy taxed me as well, they could not put air in my tires or jump the car which was towed there. The battery came lose I had to drive there to jump my own car, at a car garage that fixes cars air in tire is a fundamental thing you do as a courtesy don’t go here trust me !!!!!

Waste of time and money... 3 hrs of my done gone. Inside I watched them repeatedly rip off women who came in to get there car fixed

Excellent service from start to finish. Even when I called in to ask some questions, Tony was a big help and sounded genuinely happy and wanting to answer all of my questions. My dealership had already diagnosed the problem and luckily referred me to Affordable Mufflers rather than recommending I replace my entire exhaust for $1,300. The repair at Affordable Muffler was $140 and seems worth every penny. They called when repair was complete and everything was just as promised (price, time it took for repair, etc). Would highly recommend!

My exhaust piping broke at my resonator box. Mr. Tire in North Ridgeville said to come by and they would do an estimate that would only take 20-25 minutes. They would need to replace the entire exhaust system and quoted me $1200! By the way, it took an hour.I was talking with a friend of mine and he recommended Affordable Muffler and said they were the best around. I called Affordable and spoke with Pete. After describing the issue he said he could probably fix it for cheaper.......and he was right! I took my car there where he immediately got it up on the rack and in 2 minutes said we just need to replace the resonator box. Within 20 minutes it was fixed, off the rack and waiting for me to drive home!!! And....he only charged me $118. Thats less than 10% of what Mr. Tire quoted me. My car sounds great now.Thanks Affordable Muffler! You Guys are FANTASTIC!!!

I TOOK MY 2003 LEXUS LS 430 TO AFFORDABLE MUFFLER ON 7/13/2020. PRIOR TO THAT I HAD CALLED THERE AND TOLD THEM I HAD MY OWN COVERTERS AND I NEED THE LABOR. WHEN I GOT THERE AT 8:00 THE NEXT MORNING I WAS TOLD THEY COULDNT DO THE WORK BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE PERSON INSTALLED THE OLD CONVERTERS. WELL SIR YOU ALL INSTALLED THEM THE LAST TIME. WHAT A JOKE...THE NEXT DAY I TOOK MY CAR TO BUBBS ON THE EAST SIDE AND NOT A WORD, NO CRYING JUST GOT R DONE.

I had an aftermarket exhaust installed, they welded all joints and added factory hangers instead of using the clamps and hangers that came with the exhaust. The exhaust is more secure and looks great. Ive been going here for years they always go the extra mile. These guys are the best.
