Im glad others are echoing the same sentiments I feel about this store and theyre recent reviews that agree. Your Benefit Brow girl does argue with you. You tell her why you dont like it, and she tells you youre wrong, I decided to stop arguing because she seems like someone who would burn you or wax your entire brow off on purpose and find a way to tell you its your own fault. I had to go home and reshape them myself. Ive gotten better service and artistry from a $5 place. Then when I was walking around the store, not one associate asked me if I wanted any help. I walked by plenty who stared at me hoping I wouldnt ask them for help. Then saw the same workers go up to customers right behind me and all them asked if they wanted help. Lots of reviewers seem to be complaining about the same things for over a year. I see the responses from customer service apologizing and say that they care. But considering this is an ongoing issue for years, Im going to go with you dont actually care at all since there is no improvement.

The register staff and greeter were very nice and I wish I could have given a higher rating but the intent of my trip was for the #benefit #brow bar and that experience was poor. Thankfully Ive been to other locations in the city and know benefit has a higher standard but this employee was not trained/skilled. I even complained the wax was too hot and she argued with me. I didnt even get shaped she claimed I cant have one yet Ive got it done so many times in the city. I also have lots of brow to work with and she just slopped it on without any shaping. I couldve done the nail salon for the quality job I got.

This review is only for the Benefit Brow Bar. I really liked coming here to get my brows done but I recently have stopped scheduling appointments for that service at this location. I was able to schedule an appointment online, had it confirmed, etc. but when I arrived at the location, the tech wasnt there and I was told she was not working that day. This happened twice and after the second time, I decided it wasnt worth the hassle. Unless they fix their scheduling system, coming here for the brow bar is not worth the frustration.

I travel all over NJ, and have been to many Ultas. This store is the best one! They have the most educated sales people, super friendly, and they go the extra mile. I want to say thank you again to Paula, and the rest of the staff! Thanks!

This store was a disaster. Every shelf looked like it had been ransacked or they were empty. The staff that wasnt behind the counter just wandered aimlessly and couldnt be bothered. I went in for a particular product that showed online as available in store but couldnt find it due to the shelves being a mess and instead of checking the back I was just told no. Its as if they didnt want the business. I would rather drive a little longer and go to the Wayne store than come back to this one.

Horrible service.. uninformed staff, suggestions were lacking. I waisted money on a product in there. Stood in the middle of the make up section for 15 mins before I got ANNOYED and had to BEG for help from the staff. Store WAS NOT busy. Just poor service overall. Not a happy customer and mostly like will never go back to Rt 3 location.

Very poor inventory- products are always missing and seldom restocked. The store is also always very messy and disorganized- boxes are constantly laid out near the stations where customers should be able to sit and try on products comfortably. Customer service is also quite varied- some of the staff are very polite and willing to help, while others are extremely aloof and appear to gather in groups to chat while avoiding customers. Ultimately, if you need something quickly (and you are fortunate enough to find it here), the store is satisfactory at best.

Jess was very helpful for online orders and an additional associate (feel bad for not recalling her name, she was great too) quickly replaced a damaged item painlessly.I commend Ulta for strictly limiting the amount of customers in store and moderate usage of social distancing.

I love Ulta! I usually come in to buy a few things and leave with so much more! Today was the first time I tried their in-house eyebrow waxing service, and I really liked it! I will definitely be back!

Good a shampoo at good price

Staff was extremely welcoming and sweet. Usually Im eye followed everywhere I go for being alternative but the women here were sweethearts and treated me like a normal human/customer and their selection was awesome. Def have to go here again next pay! Also got color matched and the lady was spot on the first time ❤️

The parking in peak hours is overwhelming. One can park behind the building, by amazing savings but there will be walking involved. Personnel is helpful and nice. Product selection is the same as others.I think this location is very busy as not as new so... it isnt my favorite but it certainly has what one would need.

Just came from this Ulta and I absolutely loved my experience. Merlany, i hope I’m spelling it right, was so great on showing us new things and helping me with my skin care routine. The sweetest employees in general.

The store was a disaster and to top it off everyone who works at the store were having fun laughing and talking to each other. Many customers were coming up to the group of employees to ask questions. (myself included) Shouldnt it be the other way around? I was there for over an hour and a half so youd think someone would be working.I also requested a wash and blowdry which I usually do on my own, but I need to be pampered sometimes too! I payed $45..... wow thats a lot, especially since I have short, very fine thin hair. Well with that price I really didnt even received a head massage which would have been really for the $45 I paid. The pamphlet stated $30, which I am sure they gave me to a higher leveled stylist. It would have been nice to be notified that I would be paying for a higher level. This store is just a mess. Hopefully management will improve the quality and the experience.

I shop here pretty often and never had a bad experience. I also never had to deal with them being low on inventory, so everything I wanted, I was able to get with no problem. Their customer service is satisfactory, but I do wish they had more brands like one would find in Sephora.

I think 2 stars might be even too high for the quality of the service here. They walked pass customers without checking them whether they need help or not. I asked the lady with glass in brunette hair at the counter nicely about the price since there was no tag or price to be seen and she just reluctantly pointed “Oh, it should be a price on the box or cardboard over there”. IF THERE WAS ONE, WHY WOULD I ASK THOUGH???..If you don’t wanna work, why bother yourself tho? Go somewhere else guy seriously 😒

I went in for a ten minute facial for ten dollars with my daughter. We were accommodated the same day. The woman who did the facial gave us a very good understanding on our skincare. She didnt push any products. She simple told me where my problem areas are, asked my routine and recommended a variety of things that would help. She gave my daughter an acne treatment and her acne is almost All gone now. Very professional and nice. I booked another appointment to return in a month for 30 minutes. My skin looked amazing after only one session. Great atmosphere.

Always have my brand of hair gel. The store itself is too heavily perfumed. Hard to find prices of certain items until you are at register. Good when they have sales

Great place for all of your beauty needs. We recently used the hair salon services and were quite happy with Jenna. She offered great hair cuts for me and my girls. This was quick and the appointment started on time.

Dropped by to grab Kenra Smoothing and many individuals “working” and couldn’t get help. 4 girls at door just standing talking. The manager at salon training a new girl however could not acknowledge I was even standing waiting patiently for assistance. Store may have a tons of great product butsupport staff has no clue about customer satisfaction. I’m off to beauty is down the road or order online at amazon prime. So many choices I don’t need to stand for that.

Absolutely love shopping this store! i find the staff there is always nice and willing to go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for. They always have the products i need and a good selection of sample sized items so i can try new things without spending a ton.

Parking is horrendous

I stopped in to get a new brush head for my Clarisonic. They had hardly any inventory of any of the brush heads. Then I stood in line to pay with one person ahead of me. We waited for over 10 minutes as they only had 1 person at the register and she was with a customer. There were other employees in the store yet no one could open another register? Thats ridiculous. Guess I will shop online from now on.

I frequent Ulta for all my makeup and hair products. I needed my makeup done for a photo shoot and was surprised to find out that ulta does makeup! I booked with Naz who was super nice and very detailed about what colors to use for my makeup and contour. She took her time to make my face perfect. She is a perfectionist! My makeup was amazing!! I then followed her on insta and all of her work is fantastic and beautiful! I will def see her again for my next time out! Price is great too!

Poor customer service. I get ignored everytime I go this store. One time I spent around 15 minutes looking for a eyeliner because the layout of the store was changed. I walked past an employee for the umpteenth time and heard a Do you need help maam?, yup they werent talking to me she was talking to someone who just walked in. Wasnt the only time I was ignored. I hate going to this store and only go if I dont have time to make it to Sephora. Suggestion just go to Sephora.

I was in there for hair cut done. I highly don’t recommended them because they did my hair very different type of hair cut I never had before in my entire life! I went to there for fix my hair. The stylist has very rude attitude she was saying ‘first time someone doesn’t like their hair cut I ever seen after me’ and other hair stylist cut my hair again also she couldn’t fix my hair. My hair was long and very beautiful. They made my hair very short and ugly. I wish there is a professional hairstylist because there is Ulta! Don’t recommended for hair salon!!

1st time at the Clifton location. Staff was helpful especially since they had moved items around in the store. Only complaint one cashier at opening time. The customer before me had an issue with a gift item.So I was in line for 15 mins before I got checked out. She was apologetic for the wait and never became rude. Accomodating.

Really awful customer service. No one greeted us when we came in. All the employees were gathered up gossiping, instead of helping. Had to beg for help. Other then that the store has a lot of amazing makeup and hair products.

Will never come here again.I do my research online before going to any store. Specifically with Ulta because there are so many online reviews. I found the item I wanted and was so happy to see it was on sale for $24 from $32 - a big difference.I checked stock in the store and drove 20 minutes out of my way to go to there (because I just booked a vacation to Mexico for Sunday and couldnt wait for shipping), only to be told that they wouldnt honor the price. I clarified after they said no and showed them clearly on my phone that its their OWN website that says the price, its not like its a competitor. And again, they said no, and were not empathetic about it one bit.Are you kidding me?! Its 2018 and your prices arent aligned online and in-store? Or, at minimum, honor your online price when someone specifically asks. Ive worked in corporate retail for 10 years now and I seriously dont know any retailers other than Ulta that are this out of sync anymore. Its really sad.But my real problem was the attitude. No apology or real explanation. The manager barely looked me in the eye. And no effort at all to keep my sale or keep me as a good customer (I am a faithful member). I also worked in stores for a long time and I know that something this simple can be solved easily with good customer service. Needless to say, I left without buying anything, because I will not support a business like this.

Visiting this store in a Saturday, it wasn’t busy. I was in and out. It one thing was at the check out counter I wasn’t ask for my rewards number to be enter, which I thought was weird. Usually I go to my Edgewater location store and all employees are so helpful but I was in the area and stoped by. I wasn’t asked to be helped. I went in looking for a makeup brush and they wasn’t much brunch items on the shelves and other brushes were mixed up made it difficult to find the brush.

Hair salon. No walk ins, appointments only.All i needed was to cut my hair and as a guy, it takes 10 mins to cut my hair. I wanted to walk in to get a quick cut and princess here said she couldnt cut my hair because her client comes in 15, even though she wasnt doing anything. She didnt want to help me at all, just said i had to wait until 2 for an appointment. Ridiculous.

Always out of products and the drugstore makeup section needs more organization. My sister went for an appointment at The Salon and she has natural hair. The lady lacked at caring and styling for her hair. She wont be back again for hairstyling at all.

I was talking to a girl with slightly big lips and told her about the lip plumper I was wearing and this disrespectful worker interrupted my conversation saying “oh she doesn’t need that.” And I do? Meanwhile she has paper thin lips

SoI was looking where to get my makeup done on my wedding day as well as my hair, I have been an Ulta customer forever and have had great experiences so I decided to throw myself and give it a try. Let me tell you something, it was the BEST DECISION I MADE! Nazmun did my makeup and she was not excellent, she was FANTASTIC!!!! I am a perfectionist to the max and what she did to me was exceptional, I would not have wanted my makeup any other way! Now for my hair, Anna got it done and she was amazing as well. They were both so prompt to open up the salon a little earlier for me and made me feel so good and calm which was what I needed for that day. They are both really nice ladies, pleaseeee give them a try, it’s like they are a little hidden gem at Ulta! 👌

They have many brands to choose from. And great offers events and deals. They have an app which is very handy.

Like most Ultas, the weekends are always busy. Finding someone to help you can be difficult. However, large selection of cosmetics. Drug store brands to high end stuff. You can get anything here.The best part of this particular ULTA is the salon. I got the best haircut and color from a lady named Nerelli (probably not how you spell her name but thats how it is pronounced). Very friendly service. The prices are kind of steep and even steeper if you opt to go with a senior stylish but if you have the cash to spend its well the splurge.

Its such a shame. This store is new and its in such a great location. Its never maintained. The drug store priced displays are covered in makeup and nail polish and to boot they are always empty. I dont think this store has ever heard of restocking. The higher end displays are OK, I wouldnt say up to par. The staff arent too helpful. They pounce on you as soon as you walk in the door but theyre never around when you need them. Its usually because theyre hiding somewhere or talking among themselves. I only go in if I need something but unfortunately this store took the fun out of browsing for me.

Great store, my 1st time there, everything was neat, clean & perfectly placed...but OVERLY priced...I had MAJOR sticker shock at the register & wound up putting a few items back 😢.The staff was unbelievably helpful & informative!!!

On the fence about this place. I got my makeup done here for a wedding I was attending and I wanted to cry of how bad I looked. I dont recall her name but she applied the foundation with a brush like I had stolen her boyfriend or something, literally shoving it into my skin 😮. I usually go to MAC for makeup applications but they were totally booked for that day (prom weekend, go fig). Months later my daughter needs her hair done on a Sunday for school pics Monday, and theyre the only ones open so I book appt with Evelyn. Shes amazing!!!!! This lady knows her stuff. My daughter was so happy with simple blow out and flat iron do. Her hair lasted a whole week! Thank you, Evelyn. Plus, I asked one of the girls there for blackhead eliminating product and she recommended clarins scrub/mask and its awesome! Redemption!! But you only get 3 stars. Makeup was baaaaaaaaad.
