Its a great place to find things you have not had in awhile. Plus some are at lower prices. But its up to you to know what you like. Their also in the process of remodeling.

Very clean store, unfortunately not alot of in product selection. Associates nowhere to be found for help except at check out. A little unorganized as far as product type in similar areas however all in all pretty good. The one on Rt 17 has more to offer

Normally I really love shopping at this Big Lots as they have great stuff, but they need to improve their staff. The person working at customer service, Sabrina, needs to be taught how to have simple common courtesy with customers. When you hand a receipt to a customer or a customer approaches you should say hi or thank you, these are not complicated things to learn.The cashiers and customer service are interactions with customers and part of the most important part of retail experience. Plain and simple if you cant vet out employees that dont want to be dealing with people then you probably shouldnt even have a company.

I went today... I just moved so I was looking around the whole store looking for new stuff. The place is great and I had a great time shopping... Then when I was heading to my car I realized I didnt have my car keys with me!!!! I rushed back into the store and started retracing my steps trying to find my keys.... The staff was very helpful and an special shout out to Kayla who went out of her way to actually find my keys... I am so greatfull she saved my day.

Definitely shop here for quirky goods. Its a really big store, the one on rt46 at least. They always have a ton of quirky foods and snacks at very reasonable prices. As far as their furniture and home accessories, Im not too sure. But, big lots offer great coupons so be sure to sign up to their rewards listing. Its free, too. Enjoy!

Loved this place. They have a variety of products from furniture to food to small kitchen appliances and gadgets. I found zote soap, which I use to make homemade laundry for a fraction of the regular price, spring water was on sale when I went 2 for $5, Non GMO coconut oil, Light brown, and dark brown sugar. I found a 4 pack of spice jars for a fraction of the price of the ones I found on amazon, and dental pick for $1 and $2. Great deals. Oh, and cant forget thise awesome woven baskets I bought for my livingroom with cloth liner and wooden handles for just $12. I was totally not expecting to find such great items and such a variety. Watch out WalMart! I will return for more shopping.

This is an excellent place to load up on snacks and other small household items quickly.

On multiple occasions I have purchased food items, one was a cake that was not fresh, even though the date was not expired. Another time. I bought condensed milk and it was old and hard.Be careful, I’ve heard others complain in the store.

I want to give high praise for CHAD in the furniture department at the Clifton store. My boyfriend and I came in on 12/10 trying to purchase a couch. There were two we were choosing between but they had some, but not all, of the pieces in stock for each couch. Chad could have said thats it and have been done with us but he went above and beyond checking the warehouse, the back room of the store and even calling the Big Lots in Paramus to see if they had either of the couches. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, we left without buying either couch BUT because of Chads great customer service we would definitely return to work with him again on future furniture purchases. He is incredibly knowledgeable and really wanted to give us a good shopping experience....and he did!Management take notice. This is the kind of employee every store needs.

I give then 1/2 a star, when in yesterday 12/8/20 with my mom when checking out the cashier was extremely rude about the sales. It clearly says buy one get one Free she didnt want to hear it and tried to charge me regular price, if you look at the weekly flyer it says BOGO but one get one FREE as were talking to her about it shes starts to tell us goodbye and did nothing to fix it. Will NEVEE shop there again

This is a recent discovery. Some shelves are empty but you can still find some great items and sales. They also issue discounts for Healthcare workers with an ID badge!!

Store has great bargains and Ample parking. Staff is generally unfriendly and not very helpful. Customers who shop there generally don’t pay attention to their children running around the store, and are usually inconsiderate of other shoppers( I have had this happen on multiple occasions).If your willing to put up with some inconveniences you can get some good bargains.

If I hadnt gone to big lots I wouldve never knew that this month was tight. Big lots had all the items Ive looked for.

Cashier was so rude..said GOOD BY as i was explaing that a sign read BY ONE GET ONE FREE..i left the store just not to make a seen..its not worth the time..but its just how rude she was when it was clearly the STORE which had made the mistake...too bad for BIG LOTS shes not good for the store..

The store was messy. I stopped in thinking about saving a few bucks. However they were a bit more pricier then my local big lots. The variety of food was large but not the household items. I think Ill stick with the Rockaway NJ location its much better variety and more BANG 4 UR BUCKS!!!

The young cashier girl is just doing her job & after spending $330.00 I get no thank you, ? no nothing .?the manager needs to the train these young ones .. if u want repeat customers cause someone like me would take a ride to a few others towns instead of this one close by my house ..just stating facts .. ONLY got 5 stars due to the items I came across .. ! staff gets zero stars !

Helpful staff. I had to do a price adjustment and it was seamless. At any other store Id have to speak to 4 different people but they did it right away no questions asked. They have a good selection but other biglots usually have larger aisles with way more selection. Toys, stationary, and wall art isnt as large a section as others.

The only reason why Im giving this big lots three stars is because of a few things. They once had baby products. Ever since they started changing the store I had to go else where. Number two just about every time I go here to get milk theyre sold out. but other then that its a great store to buy a few toys for the kids and even greater store to get stuff for your house. please bring back the baby products

Superior customer service from personnel. When i visited the store on 1/21 I was pleasantly surprised to have been greeted by several employees. In addition, it appears Mike the manager goes over and beyond to satisfy customers. He approached me and asked if I needed help finding anything and then proceeded to ask me if I needed a shopping cart. He went all the across the store to retrieve the cart for me. This truly made my shopping experience a great one!

A wide selection of items, I was surprise of the variety’s. It looks small from outside but the store has pretty much a little of everything, I mean what a large store chain usually carries. Plus the prices are very comparable to other Super centers. There is also plenty of free parking right in front and easy access from the highway.

I get some great deals on closeouts here. I can get on and out in 5 minutes which has been great when I needed something between jobs.You can get milk and suet at a good price so both my family and my extended bird 🐦 family are happy.

Big Lots my favorite store to go shopping great prices on 24 packs of water to $3 and also the only store in New Jersey that had the Christmas fruit cake and I love it I was very happy to go there I love shopping there its a great store has everything that you need for your holidays and more.

A necessary evil in this Pandemic, staff is barely functional at the registers. 2 people ahead of me took 15 minutes to get them checked out

If you frequent National Wholesale Liquidators, or even a Family Dollar, this is right in your wheelhouse. I wouldnt buy the furniture but most of the household items are name brand and may be a little cheaper than s Target or Walmart. But note: theres a Dollar Tree right there too, its smart to see what you can get there first - I mean, come on, you cant beat a dollar an item on everything!
