Mr. Naqvi is the kindest and most helpful person. You can tell he cares for his customers and ALWAYS offers the best prices. I drive half an hour just for this store because no other fabric stores have satisfied me as much as the Five Star Fabric House has! My first time making a dress I was so pleased to have used the fabric they had (for cheap!! I was so surprised because Joann Fabrics charges almost triple the amount for 1 yard). Came here for the first time, due to needing a last minute dress for a special occasion. I had an idea of what I wanted, but have never bought fabric before. This is the best fabric store Ive ever been to (& Ive been to many). Dont be fooled by the smaller size of the store. Its got a larger selection than many of the larger stores Ive been to. The prices are better here than anywhere else, too! The owner, Mr. Nakqvi, is awesome! Hes very kind & helpful. He really takes the time to make sure his customers find everything they need (without making them empty their wallets).Im within walking distance, but for those who arent, there are bus stops a block up & a block down from the shop (on either side of the street), as well as plenty of parking (on street or in the nearby free parking lot). A trip here is worth it!

Five Star Fabric House absolutely lives up to their name! The selection is great, and the service is even better. I had a question about how to wash one of the fabrics, so the owner hand-washed, dried, and ironed a swatch of the fabric right in front of me in the store to show me how it should be treated. I will definitely be going back to this store-- I am extremely impressed by the service. Best fabric store in the area!

This store is very close to where i live. I come here a lot with my wife. She stops by to buy a lot of fabric. The owner is a very nice person and fun to talk to. Hes very courteous and polite. As for the store, it has a lot of variety and if they dont carry something, the owner tells me he can order it so I dont usually have to worry about it. Prices arent bad at all. The owner says that he will price match competitors.

I personally know the owner, but this is an honest review. Hes a great guy and this is a great fabric store! Whenever i walk in, hes got a smile on his face and is willing to help. He took about an hour and 30 mins out of his day to help me and my team plan and select fabrics for my latest Film. Im a director and we went in looking for fabric for costumes as well as a good green screen to build a stage. He grabbed roll after roll of fabric and never got mad when we changed our minds. All the while, hes telling us about his store and how he got here. The prices for the fabric per yard were great. He promises to match and even lower his prices compared to any competitor around the surrounding towns. This is as down to earth family business as it can get.

I went looking for fabric for a prom dress.The owner helps you and gives you all his attention and is very patient..There were many different fabric types and styles.He took his time showed us different fabrics and ways of collaborating them.He constantly asked if we were satisfied. As far as the prices go he was very reasonable. But also we must keep in mind you get what you pay for. I would send everyone I know to him.. He makes the fabric buying experience well worth going to him.I see this is one of those instances where the name speaks for itself.

This is by far the very best fabric store, and Mr. Naqvi is an absolute angel! I had been looking for afrocentric fabric to use for headwraps. I came across this place and after reading the reviews I went the same day. What an Amazing place. Fabric heaven. It was my first time in the fabric store, took me about half an hour to find a yard because there was so much variety. I wasnt rushed. The owner was a sweetheart. We were talking, joking, made my experience heavenly. If I picked a white lace, hed start pulling out stretch kinds of that lace, or stiff kinds. I pulled out a black fabric that had stretch, he showed me the flowly alternative. He was an absolute delight! Bridal fabric for 20 $ a yard!!! Online its atleast 50 $ or up. My new favorite fabric store. Oh and they accept debit, check whatever. Awesome! !!!
