A must go and see and experience place if you are talking stone. Grace is amazing and everyone working there is really great, best customer service I have experienced in quite a while and the stone selection is awesome!!

This place has so many different masonry options its amazing. I suggest going with inspo pictures because if you go here without, you may leave more confused then when you started. everything is beautiful and they have almost everything on display so you can see it & touch it. Highly recommend for any outdoor stone work. We just ordered 400 sq ft of stone for our house and cant wait to complete it!

Not bad. Although the sales staff could be a bit more amicable and make people feel welcome. They act like they dont want to be there servicing anyone. At least thats what I was made feel like. But I must credit the outside drivers. They were very helpful.

My contractor ordered caps for my retaining walls along with blocks. We received blocks within 5 weeks and that is fine. After THREE MONTHS now however, we still dont have the caps. Now, they are saying the manufacturer (Cambridge) doesnt make them and they waited THREE MONTHS to tell me this and only after I asked. Clearly they are not taking customer orders seriously. Also, Cambridge/Armortec should stop their TV commercials I see everyday on my local channel if they do NOT deliver what was ordered. So, there is no way for me to recommend Athenia or Cambridge. Try to find somewhere else, as I will have to do myself now.

This was my second stop. First stop was Bergen brink and stone. Their prices are like double compared to Athenia. But Athenia had what I needed in stock unlike Bergen brick. Only thing Bergen brick has an advantage of for my company is location. Its closer to our offices.

Great variety of materials. Priced ok. Need to work on the sales customer service. They dont really bother much if you are a DIY and you if you have some questions.

Excellent place I needed help finding a color I wanted saw it in Cambridge book but it didn’t list color talk to Ken he knew exactly what I needed and helped my contractor order the right stuff Ken always was in quick contact with me whenever I emailed him he is a awesome salesman and truly knows his stuff my job got done yesterday and is exactly what I wanted thanks again athenia and thanks again Ken it’s hard to find salesman that care don’t have an attitude and know there business well top notch!!!!!!

Good selection (you can find materials here that other mason supplys dont have) at OK prices. Staff is also just OK.Delivery takes a long time (1 to 2 weeks sometimes).

I used Athenia Mason Supply for my material needs and Dave Jones was a total gentleman. He was extremely knowledgeable and assisted me from the initial phone call to placing the order to the delivery . Dave was there from beginning to end. I Will definitely use Athenia in the future and definitely deal with Dave. Total asset to Athenia Mason Supply.

My company ordered 8 pallets of an item. We were charged for all 8 upon order. Our driver initially could only fit 3 pallets, and informed the rep that he would be back shortly for the other 5 pallets. Upon his return, he was told that they mistakenly sold the other 5 pallets, even though we had been charged for all 8. Horrible way to do business! We will not be back!

Big selection of Cambridge Pavers, sand, gravel, stonedust, cement. Deliveries for purchases are 3 weeks behind schedule, so you are better off renting a truck at Home Depot and picking it up yourself, thats what I did.A word of caution do not over Purchase on any item because THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.

BEWARE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.Athenia Mason supply hates dealing with homeowners even when you are about to spend a great deal of money. They dont give you the time of the day or dare ask you if you need any help. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Grace. Grace certainly does not know the definition of excellence customer service and kept dismissing my Husband with an issue with our order. Her demeanor was very nasty, unprofessional and down-right RUDE. She practically kept yelling at my husband yelling I CANT HELP YOU. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time at this place. Progressive or Bergen Brick is the way to go if you want common decency and respect. absolutely disgusted.Going off your recent reply...To be clear, we stated this was an even exchange NOT a return. We were not asking for money back at all!! That is completely false. Your team would not give us the time of day and was beyond dismissive, rude and unprofessional.Also, I did not even speak nor scream to a store manager when I called so again, that is complete inaccurate. I spoke to someone named Dave, who was apologetic about the poor customer service we received. Dave told me he would speak to the manager about our issue. That is the truth. Do not deflect this issue. AND, for the record, I did not yell at anyone I simply spoke my mind about the poor customer service I received with a calm manner. I would never stoop to the level of your ill-mannered team.With all due respect, if your team TRULY cared about helping us homeowners you would at least try to help and give us the common courtesy.All I can ask for is when the next homeowner come through your doors, I would expect you to think twice about how you treat them.

From beginning to end I have had nothing but over the top professionalism, support and a superior experience with Athenia Mason Supply in Clifton, NJ, especially with employee Thomas Kievit.Thomas personally replied to all my emails, countless questions and he provided us with a quote in record time. First time here good quality of stone nice cuts. They have a big a variety of stones everybody outside super friendly in new help you. The only thing I didnt like I think his name was Ricky Spanish guy. Try to ask different questions he just rush me I didnt like that.. I tried to ask him about different Stones is it just go outside and look at them. So I didnt like that I spend a lot of money and that wasnt right. Besides that everyone else outside was great awesome and I really like their products there. So this why I gave them a five star. On the quality of the material and the staff members outside.the Parking is no problem And the prices wasnt bad at all. So I will recommend this place to anybody.

Terrible place!!!!!!!! Always keep as last resort. I promise every times you will wait for an hour on a good day and who knows on a bad. Place is a mess element that goes there is pure garbage.

Grace at Athenia is incredible! She took her time to help me and my wife pick out the perfect stone combination for our house. She was patient and pleasant. Looking forward to getting all my other masonry supplies from here as well.

Let me start off by saying this store has amazing products and great quality material hands down. The only thing that kills this place is the people who work behind the counter. Unfortunately they like to tell people that they will call them back and never do. Also the way they talk on the sounds like they are always trying to rush you off the phone, which I understand if there busy but every time I had called its always the same attitude. I personally believe the employees behind the counter or shoe pick up the phone there needs to be more customer friendly and more responsive especially when they tell people they will call them back.

Employees are disrespectful and unprofessional. But the Manager was great name is Ken.

I visited several manson suppliers in the area and none of them come even close to the customer service of the employees at Athenia. As I approached the main office, Bill asked me if I needed help and guided me to the sample display all across the parking lot. He even went inside the office to get me a magazine. Once I chose the blocks I wanted I went inside and was taken care by Omar Diaz (Sales) and he showed me other options, took care of my order, placed the delivery and everything has been going smoothly. I have been to the store 2 more times and Omar has been so accommodating with my project. Omar and Bill are the BEST!

Delivery was as scheduled and driver made sure to drop 10 yards of stone very carefully so as to not spread into neighbors driveway. Great experience!

I called this morning for the first time. These are peak times therefore I appreciate that they are opened for business. Also glad that they had the items I needed despite the circumstances with covid/pandemic.

I bought 9 boxes of cultured stone and had 3 left over. I asked if I could return anything that I didn’t use when I paid and was told yes. I never looked at the receipt close enough to read no returns. I just took the word of the saleswoman.So when I took the 3 boxes back I was told to take it to the Clifton Blvd yard, I’d get a refund. The kid there was just looking to be difficult from the get go. He found a piece of stone with concrete that my mason probably tossed on top of the box. He wouldn’t take it then refused the 2 others just for spite when I challenged why.Went to the office and were even more difficult saying The Receipt Says No Returns. Well..The day before they said they’d take it. Not fair. Not nice. Not customer friendly.Trust me the stone was unused and packed perfectly in the the boxes the way it was when I bought it. They were just terrible to deal with.Hope you take this into consideration before you buy from them...Good Luck.

The johnny bathroom outside is okay

I am a little upset that after purchasing cultured stone displayed on the outside wall, it was not what was delivered. The older salesman inside was reluctant to explain that the stone was a mixture of flat and fieldstones. He had just finished a very heated conversation with another buyer and was not in the best mood when it was my turn. Maybe this had something to do with it, not sure. The order form had 80% ledge stone and below 20% field. I assumed that the top portion of the wall was 80% of one kind and lower was 20% of another kind of stone. All the older gentleman had to say that this was a mixture. I asked him repeatedly if in fact what was on the wall on the outside was what i was ordering and he insisted saying, whatever is on the wall. To reassure me, he only had to walk outside to check on the main building. Although they delivered on time and took my pallets back for reimbursement, I am disappointed the order form wasnt explained better. I am happy with the stone but it not what I originally wanted.

Convenient and definitely a local supplier with just about all of your needs for masonry, and landscape supplies, stones, sand, etc.I find they are slightly higher price than other competitors, and considering their location oh, thats pretty shameful. Bergen County residents who are usually more well-off have access to cheaper products then lower socio-economic areas like Passaic and Clifton? But if not buying bulk supplies or just looking for local things you need, definitely not opposed to it.

Avoid at all costs! The staff is rude, unhelpful and dismissive. There is a line just to enter the showroom, the line to pick up material was 10 people deep. Take your business elsewhere, I did.

Make sure you buy exactly what you needNo returns are accepted and NOT the friendliest staff. Specially the manager Dave. If you are home owner or a novice better optiion would be is to deal with big box store. Will shop here only as a last resort if any.

Just got my delivery of 3/8 crushed marble stone. Couldnt be happier with Athenia. I placed my order over the phone with Grace and she was wonderful, very courteous and patient. The delivery driver also did a great job despite the pouring rain. The rocks werent just dumped in a pile, rather each yard was in a big bag. Definitely an added bonus and no mess. Will be recommending to friends
