Just walked out of Cloquet Ford with my new truck, Big Blue, was a great experience working with Jimmy and Brody in sales and Amber in Financing. They had the paperwork in order and I was in and out of there in under 2 hours that included a training session on how to work all the gadgets in my new truck. I will for sure send my friends and family to this place to make sure they are treated right.Good jobs kids.Ill be back.
Horrible, nothing but bad since I bought my car in 2020. Got oil chages and tire rotations per easy care. They guys in service have forgotten to latch my hood, not tightened the lugs and never call back when message left (blaming it on phone system). And when I sent an email or left a message for the manager to call me back to register a complaint, nobody ever called backNow to top it off they put a sticker on my car last time I was in. But when I bring it to them today, they tell me my easy care warantee expired at 87000miles ago. Dont go here. And that has been under both CFC and WCM.So much more I could say but will not.
Purchased a 2014 ram with only 35k miles on it, purchased a warranty as well but when I had issues with the truck and brought it in apparently those parts “weren’t covered” under warranty, however after complaining they offered to “discount” the service. Still costed me $300. Also a week after purchasing the truck brought it through the car wash and the back window leaked through the headliner, then my truck went in the other day as well to have new tires put on and apparently the sway bar links are shot and the bolts were completely stripped, the mechanic said he believes the truck was in a fender bender at some. Just shady business in my opinion.
Great customer service...from both the service dept and the front desk. Sales people are friendly and informative...They carry a great line of vehicles. The dealer is located on Washington Ave just off Hwy 33...across from Taco Johns and Kwik Trip. The rest rooms are clean and elegant. There is a compact waiting area just off the service dept. Beyond the rest rooms is the parts dept. While waiting for your vehicle you can peruse magazines or books, grab a bag of popcorn and/or enjoy fresh coffee or water from a cooler...or slip in some coin for a soft drink. Easy listening rock music keeps conversation flowing. Around the holidays this business participates with the City of Cloquet in the Holidays Fun...sponsoring a comedian-magician, cookie making and refreshments...
Truck broke down which we are a couple hours away from destination. Pulled up at 3:45pm and they got it fixed right away! Very thorough and amazing service!
Jimmy and Elias did a great job with helping me order just the right truck my husband has been wanting for a very long time.. Great job team with picking the best package and the right color.
Everything is not ok at Cloquet Ford. This was my experience when I brought my car in to have some safety recall items fixed. I picked up after hours and after driving a bit heard loud rumbling and car was unsteady. When I checked all the lug nuts on the rear driver side tire were loose. My boyfriend checked out and had to purchase new lug nuts, as some of the ones on the wheel were not the right one. This could have been a very dangerous situation and shouldnt have happened. I would not recommend using them and wanted to share to make others aware.
Very poor customer service.. Ive been trying, for three days, to schedule my vehicle for a recall issue. . after leaving them my contact info, theyve not returned my call.. Terrible customer service.

I had to contact them about items that were on the purchase agreement. Thats why the change in stars!Still waiting for my part to come in and also my license plates. Zero Stars....Will NEVER deal with this place again.. ... Absolute worst.. A free Recall repair turned into $143 dollar service bill for Work done that WAS NOT authorized buy Me or even brought to my attention.. Avoid like the Coronavirus... The customer service was shockingly Horrible.. I seen them treat other customers better than others.... Im Native..... Shame on them.
We have gotten three cars from here, both cars before were incredibly safe and nice vehicles. They work the hardest to get you the best deal. Highly recommend coming here for a vehicle.
They sold me a car with a bent in radiator and didn’t tell me when I first bought it and now I found out because it was leaking and acting up. They said that I bought it like that and it’s my responsibility but I didn’t even know that it was bent because they covered it up with a new bumper and that I was basically my fault because I thought they was a trust worthy good dealer ship but if they were wouldnt they have told me it had a bent radiator when they first sold it to me or fixed it up before even selling the car to someone. They knew it was my first car and I didn’t even know anything about cars, so I have to pay a lot for a car that wasn’t in good condition when you sold it to me. Also I call them and the boss answer and told me he was gunna get a hold of me last week but I didn’t get no call no nothing.
Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. Purchased a vehicle back in July and just found out about a week ago they never submitted the paperwork for license plates even though we paid for them. This happened after having to reach out multiple times in October because they never submitted the registration paperwork either. When I had called previous to this they said there were delays with the state of Wisconsin and it could be a little while until we received title, but it was actually their ineptness in being able to submit paperwork in a timely manner. As a customer you should not have to hold their hand in making sure the paperwork was submitted in a timely manner. I highly recommend not buying from this dealership if you can find a vehicle elsewhere.
Cloquet Ford Chrysler is a locally owned community center. We recently went through an entire management change over this past March and with that, the dealerships sights have been synchronized on exchanging as much value as possible with local Cloquet people and the surrounding area.Give us a try when youre shopping for new or used vehicles, I can give you my personal guarantee, we treat you as respected human beings, because were all in this together, and if I dont personally treat everyone like family, well then frankly life isnt worth living for me. Im in sales, but no matter who you work with here, I know well handle your needs as if they were our own.
This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to. We bought our truck the end of May and it is the end of August and they have not transferred the title. We have called multiple times to see what the hold up is, but no one has returned our calls. We cant even drive our truck because the 21 day permit is expired.
What a joke. Go else where contacted my wife about a truck we were selling. Was in the area and showed up a week laterm. Looked up kbb and offered 2 grand less than low trade. Jimmy called me later. Agreed with price on phone. Ran 2 cars hour and a half each way for him to get atitude cause i didnt want to sit for hours for his wanna be gm mechanic to come up with time to look it over. Didnt care if his mechanic looked at it nothing to hide. Then just didnt want to deal anymore cause i wasnt playing his game? I guess they just wanted to steal a truck that was nicer than the ones they have for nothing from a woman that didnt know any better. Go elsewhere.

I got a new truck today... I walked in expecting not to get it. They worked their butts off to get my family in the truck. Amber is awesome. Not only did I get the truck that I wanted but at $250 less a month than I expected.
Great quality service. Friendly staff. My insurance agent even commented on how great they are to work with. Weve had multiple Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles over the years and theyve done great with all the vehicles and worked well with our kids when they brought their vehicles in (learning how to be an adult)! Theyve done warranty work, recalls, regular maintenance and major repairs and they stand behind their work!

Absolutely terrible customer service took forever to buy my vehicle and trade in my others and once I finally got the vehicle they will not answer me return my calls nothing. Also its been almost and month and my bank still has not received the pay off. Would not recommend.

Had an appointment I made on a Monday for Tuesday. Drove 2 hours. Vehicle wasnt even cleaned. Wierd vibes. Took 5 hours! I traded in a 2012 Fusion with only 107 m for $3,500. I paid in check for balance. No financing, no extended warranty.Its now been 7.5 weeks - still no plates. After calling 6 times someone answers their business phone. Ill check it out. Plates havent even been ordered. Well go today and get them next week. Whut!! She tells me because of COVID. 🤣🤣 The DMVs been open since May 20, 2020!! Im sure they are not behind! 😤😤
Bought a used car from here and it took over six months to get license plates and also it is hard to get an appointment for my car to get an oil change. Last time I spent weeks calling with no luck getting ahold of anyone before finally just showing up to get an appointment set up
Jimmy and Kerry are so helpful and make shopping for cars fun! They will do their best to get you get in a car, when you need it, and for how much you need it to be.

I was interested in purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I was fair and honest in what I wanted and what I could afford. It seemed at the time this dealership wanted to work with me as we came to an agreement and settled on a deal. Turns out that was just a bait and switch. As I jumped through hoops to make the finances work on my end and to arrive before they closed on the last day of the momth ensuring they would hit their goal as per terms of our agreement, they continued to tack on thousands to their sale price switching around numbers and wasting my time. I would NOT recommend buying from them unless you dont mind being jerked around. As for the service department I found them to be quite helpful and punctual.

I always have my vehicle serviced here (routine maintenance) they are very good at getting me taken care of. Though there was a small miscommunication this last time on their end which caused me to have to wait slightly longer for my car to be finished they definitely owned up to their mistake, apologized, and made it right 👍😉 I will continue to come here and recommend my family and friends come here as well. 😁💯

They worked hard to get me approved for the vehicle I wanted. It wasnt a pretty process and there were some hangups but it turned out great.
We were not impressed. First we viewed a used car that was filthy and apparent that they never cleaned it when they brought it into their car lot. The sales man was nice. But on the other hand the manager was extremely pushy. He never once asked us what we were looking for. He only asked our price range, and basically forced the sales man to show us 2 cars, that were considerably out of our budget, in which we had already told our sales person we would not consider buying. It was apparent that the manager cared more about the sale than he did the consumer. We didn’t do business with them and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to them for buying a car.

These guys are great. I have bought a few cars from here with good experiences. They will do whatever they can to get a good deal for you...and the service department is really good, also. They will fix your car and make you feel at home while its all happening. If you need a ride somewhere in the meantime, they will get you where you need to go. Highly recommended!
I recently purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue, the sale sales staff were helpful and knowledgeable, I didnt feel pressured, they worked with me to get financed and I was out the door in no time.
I did not purchase a vehicle there, Im giving a rating based on the experience that I had while test driving a 2016 blue Dodge Ram. The sales agent I was working with (Alexis) was very nice and helpful. They let me take the truck home so I could show my wife. Upon returning the vehicle later that day everyone was nice and helpful. If I decide to purchase the truck i will update this review with my opinion for after the sale service.Tried visiting again but they were unwilling to negotiate on the price.
Recently brought a 2020 Gladiator rubrican. the dealership was clean, the staff was friendly and, the vehicle was delivered as described. All in all I had a wonderful experience.
If I could give negative stars I would. My girlfriend and I sold them 3 vehicles and bought 2 vehicles during the buyback event on January 27th. Everything went smooth until we both began receiving late payment notices on our previously owned vehicles (that they turned around and sold within hours). They had no problem issuing us new loans, but failed to pay off our original vehicles. Several phone calls later and some run around; my vehicle managed to get paid off, but my girlfriends still is not.Our credit scores have plummeted by over 180 points between the two of us, our credit lines have decreased, etc. On top of it come to find out our vehicle plates were never transferred, so, yeah. Between my girlfriend and I we have contacted this business well over 20 times and no one seems to be on the same page because by about call 18 they finally started learning our names and figuring out there was an issue. We have been told at least 3 times that a check was sent to pay off her vehicle (which is now 2 more months behind on payments) and still a balance on the loan.Safe to say; awful experience (thats still happening). Use caution when selling or purchasing from them.

Sales person was very pushy. We just wanted to know a price on a vehicle, and he wouldnt tell us, he kept wanting us to go inside. And we just wanted to know the price, and keep looking at other vehicles.
I took my truck in to get it serviced and if it had not been for the warranty on it. I would have gone some place else. They charged me $70 for an oil change and tire rotation.
Poor customer service, long wait time, price gouging on routine maintenance, and unprofessional behavior on sales floor from staff. I recommend going somewhere else if theres another option

Bought a used car for a fair price in April 2020 on a 25 degree day. First warm day after the purchase I went to use the AC and it blew hot air. I asked the dealer to take care of it as it was a cold day when I bought the car so of course it blew cold air. I had only put a few hundred miles on. They said the AC was checked and fine before the car was put on the lot but they would take a look for free. (This after mutiple calls and requests to get back to me). How gracious! After they looked the service department called me and said the AC system needs an overhaul and it will cost $1200 to fix! $1200!! I asked to see the inspection report before it went on the lot and they showed me a check mark on a sheet saying the AC blew cold air... It was early March! Its cold outside! Its going to blow cold air! There was no record of scanning for AC just a check mark saying it works. They said best we can do is take 25% off at $970! This was unacceptable for them to not fix what they missed in the inspection. When a person goes to a dealer rather than private party you expect a car to be up to specs ready to roll. That was not the case. If you were me and needed another car in a couple years would you go back to Cloquet Chrysler Ford? Buy used cars in Wisconsin so you are protected from shady situations like this. Very disappointed they would not make this right.Update: Parts were $200 and my mechanic fixed it for $150. Works great and $900 less than CCF quote. Went to get tabs in April 21 and DMV told me they dont have title from the dealer. I couldnt get anyone to call me or contact me about the title not getting turned into the state. They just kept taking my number and saying the title staff is at the DMV and will get back to me later in the day, even when stopping in person. Here I am 14 months later with a paid off car and no title. After multiple stops at CCF and calls being brushed off and told the title person is at the DMV and will call me back, I finally went to the DMV and got better service to figure out the title issue at the DMV of all places! DMV staff said CCF staff bold faced lied and the title person never stopped in like they said she did that day. This place is a joke. They get your check and they are done with you. If not for the DMV calling them and asking WTH is going on Im sure I would still be sitting here with no answers....
I went in at 10am expecting to trade in and purchase a new car, after 4 hrs wasted I walked out because they said that I had their entire office smelling like weed when I didn’t even smoke and told me I could test drive the car I just couldn’t leave the lot...

We purchased a vehicle from them at the beginning of October and traded in our vehicle at that time. They have still yet to send the payoff to our bank and it is now November 9th. I have contacted them on several occasions and no one is willing to resolve this issue! We are now sitting here in the dealership waiting for results!

Terrible customer service. I spoke to someone in finance on the phone, told him my issue about a refund we were owed and he told me he would check into and call back. 5 hours later I decided to just go to the dealership and speak to someone. He looked me dead in the face and said he never spoke to me. We got everything sorted out and it turns out they had our refund for over a month!! They never called or mailed anything to us. After he printed out a check he just handed it to us. No apology about the long wait or confusion. Not even a have a good day. Unbelievable.
Had problems with our truck on the way home from Texas. The staff was great and got us back on the road the same day.

Brought my truck in for what I thought would be a simple fix on an engine tick. Long story short, ended up getting a new long block under warranty. Has taken over a month for the problem to be diagnosed, parts ordered and repair performed. I blame Ford Motor Co. For being so slow to approving a new warranty engine. Service representative at Cloquet ford has been awesome about keeping in touch and letting me know the status of my truck, and helping with transportation needs. Although my experience has been a slow process, the service department has been good to work with and want to do everything they can for the customer.
My experience with Cloquet Ford Chrysler Center has been nothing but a positive experience. I was planning on driving to Duluth to look at some Jeep Renegades at the Kia Dealership, when I spotted one on the Cloquet lot. I called to find out what year it was, the ones Kia had were 2015. Jimmy the sales rep that answered the phone, said it was a 2017, I assumed it would be out of my financial reach. He kindly asked if I have ever test driven one. I said no, and he suggested I could save a trip to Duluth, (I live in Cloquet) and test drive it. So I did. He asked what monthly payment I had in mind. I told him, and then he said something so fantastic, ...he said I can make that work. He did such a great job, working with my bank and myself. On the day I was to pick it up, he was busy, so I got to met with Renee....I told her about this purchase as such a pleasant surprise as I really didnt think I could afford this new of a vehicle. I am happy to support local businesses so our small town can keep good businesses around and that a woman owns a business that is typically dominated by men. Well done Cloquet Ford!!
I brought my 2011 Ford Fusion in for a diagnostics test around the end of May. My bluetooth/aux was not working properly, and after a two hour diagnostics exam I was told that I needed to replace the APIM module. I was given an estimate of around $600 for this repair. I contacted the car lot that I bought the car from as I had bought it only a week prior, and I told them what the diagnosis was, and they told me to bring it to their repair place and order the parts from their part supplier and they would help with the cost. I used the diagnosis provided by Cloquet Ford to order the appropriate part and schedule the repair with the dealers shop. After the module was replaced I took it to a different place for programming, and they could not get it to work. After they spent some time troubleshooting the problem, they discovered that the problem all along was a disconnected ground wire in the trunk area. The APIM module was fine the entire time - they even re-installed my old module for me. The only issue was a simple disconnected ground wire, and Cloquet Ford did not catch that. I ended up spending close to $600 on the part, part installation, and hours of troubleshooting at the other shops. I have been attempting to reach out to people at Cloquet Ford for months via email, and I just keep getting ignored or handed off to another person. I will never be returning to Cloquet Ford, and I would never recommend them to others. I am very disappointed with my inaccurate diagnoses which cost me a lot of money and a ton of time, and Im very disappointed with their lack of responses.
Best they could do was $140 per month more than the exact same car elsewhere. Gave them a shot hoping to keep it local. Went to the cities and found what I wanted cheaper than I expected.
Girlfriend spent 3 hours there and it was a complete waste of her time.

Went in ten minutes early for an oil change waited well over an hour for my car wasnt too upset considering the lady next to me had been waiting four hours for routine matinence. The part that upset me was that the matinence light was still on after the work had been done the check engine light is now on as well. Shady place.

DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE! Stopped in to check out prices and crunch some numbers so I could assess whether I would purchase a vehicle from them at a later date. Made clear I was not going to buy a vehicle that day. A fellow named Mike tried hard to pressure me into buying a vehicle right then and there after showing me the numbers. When I, once again explained I would not be buying one right now he said, Thank you for wasting our time. This started a verbal altercation and I left. As I left, a few other salesmen followed, apologized and then attempted to further pressure me into buying. Called the owner after I left and calmed down and he, in a semi-polite and yet semi-snotty way said he heard the altercation and he also saw four guys come up and apologize then asked (in a snotty fashion) Is there anything more I can do for you? Unbelievable! DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE!Response to the owners response: I told Mike several times that I was not going to buy a car that day. Even when he kept pressuring me to sign that paper, I told him I would not sign as I am not buying a car today. He told me, Dont worry, it is not a contract. I finally told him if he wants me to initial the paper before he shows me the numbers then I would just to make him happy---but I am not buying a car today. So he knew damn well where I stood. He was not suprised. The others only rushed to apologize in order to try to usher me in so THEY could further pressure me.You run a shady and conniving business and your tactics need to be brought to the attention of the appropriate agencies. I intend on doing just that. Your business practices are slimy and deceptive. Your responses are passive-aggressive. Not what I would expect from a man who claims to be a conservative.

Not here, they all band together. What a joke, you know what, if you dont know much about leaving cuz tou dont do a lot of them, well then you probably shouldnt do them at all.
Used a coupon for the oil change. I asked about matching another dealerships oil change price but they wouldnt match it. $25.99 for oil change with coupon.
Stopped in to get a check engine light checked out on my 2014 Ram truck. I was first told that they couldn’t do it without an appointment. I was then also told that they charged for this service. Rediclous. My local dodge dealership doesn’t charge for this service neither did Napa auto down the street from this dealership where I had them check it for free.Any dealership that charges for a service that takes 2 minutes tops should raise red flags regarding their customer service.I would not trust a dealership that is so petty as to charge for a service that others do for free on a 70k truck.
Never buy a car here they rip you off.
Even when you make an appointment they cannot get anything done. I have never received a worse oil change. My car developed an engine knock before the next oil change was even due after they changed my oil. This has never happened before. They could not do the factory recall work even though scheduled an appointment. The work that was done was obviously done very poorly and when I took it to another dealership they noticed the shoddy work right away. I would bring your vehicle here if you want it to die. Its all okay in cloquet. They are advertising for a reason.
Service was terrible. They only showed me 2 cars to choose from and tried everything to not make my max payment work. Dont waste you time or gas or money.

Called because my fiances 2015 Ford Taurus is having tranny issues, was sent to the service department. To be frank, they treated me completely like sh** and they had no options for a rental car what so ever. Poor business tactics and poor help on the phone. I was born and raised in Cloquet, and they let me down. Id rather drive my car off a bridge than let them touch it.Also, received something in the mail a year or so ago saying I won a new car, went in there to be faced with high pressure sales tactics and I received nothing when the junk mail said free car. Id stay far away from a place as desperate as them.

Spent a very long day at cloquet Ford and that was only because my salesman travis and the GM tony did all they could to put me in the truck that I wanted. Cloquet Ford used to have a very bad reputation and I swore about 4 years ago I would never go back but after hearing and seeing satisfied customers and how they have really came around with new salesmen and a new GM there is no question in my mind that I would go back and I would refer friends and family without a doubt. Very pleased with all the effort put into my customer satisfaction and with a lifetime powertrain warranty theres no other dealer I would be interested in!
