Jake at Zia Powersports really helped me out! I had been working on my Honda 400ex trying to get a spark plug removed, and I didn’t have the special spark plug socket needed to remove it properly. I tried regular sockets, thin walled sockets, nothing would work.I called Zia explaining my situation and I asked Jake if I could load it up and bring it down to the shop. I did and Jake let borrow his socket tool for a few minutes so I could get the job done. I am very thankful and Jake helped save my day!

Awesome Experience!!! Super friendly staff! We communicated an out-the-door price over the phone and set up a time, for two days later, to pick up our new Polaris Slingshot (the funnest toy you’ll ever own. Google it, buy one, and thank me later. LOL). We were in and out in less than an hour... and that included extra time spent ordering a few extra accessories and some apparel. All-around A+!!!

Awesome place. Chris got my Harley Road King going in 15 min. I was expecting to leave the bike with them for several days. Took longer for me to load it on the trailer than it did for him to fix my problem. The threads were stripped on the head for the spark plug and i thought i was in serious trouble. Not having a harley shop here close by i decided to take it to Zia Power Sports in Clovis. Glad i did. Chris rethreaded the head and replaced the spark plug right there on the trailer.Great service and friendly place.

Coming back from a long road trip I wanted something better than my ramp to offload my bike. Not only did they allow me to use their ramp but grabbed a few guys to help. Thats what service is all about.

I recently called Zia Powersports regarding a part for a Ranger 570. The parts department was very helpful in helping me get the part ordered for my Ranger. I spoke with Bobby and he was very courteous and answered all my questions. I will definitely be doing business with them again!

I called Zia Sports to purchase a muffler to put on my generator and I was referred to the Service Department and the Parts Manager. I explained what I wanted and he said he thought he had something that would work. I charged the cost and the shipping on my credit card and in a couple of days I had my part. I was pleased to work with a person that knew his business and the billing person as well! I was very pleased with the service!

Everyone did wonders helping find the specialty part I was looking for, and with the upmost finest customer service.

Ironically, I go in asking for the weirdest things and, to my surprise, they seem to always have what Im looking for. And if its hard to find, they will keep looking until they find it. And who knows, they just might have it in stock.

Usually when I have mixed feelings about a business, I skip the review and move on, but in this case, I am choosing to write the review because I feel like other inexperienced beginners like me need some additional information before walking in. First of all, staff are courteous and friendly, and they do have tremendous inventory! But you need to know there is no haggling on prices, and there are so many extra fees that you should expect to pay. That said, it is a toy shop, and fancy, fun toys are a luxury, so if you cannot afford the extra fees, you are free to walk out, which is what I had to do once they start adding up fees until a used bike with dents and scrapes and cobwebs, faulty switches, quickly started adding up to almost the same price as a brand new one available anywhere.I was quite surprised to find that the price of a bike had almost doubled in extra fees between when I spoke with a salesperson over the phone and when I drove over 2 hours from Hobbs to Clovis. You should not expect any discussion at all on prices, and there are so many extra fees that I was not expecting added on, especially when I had already told him I was bringing cash. My dad and uncle, who both have years of experience with motorcycles and dealerships, told me later that they were both as surprised as I was, so I feel like it is important to note here in this review. Again, that said, Zia sells toys, not necessities, and their showroom would suggest that they are very good at it!A brand new, 2020 Suzuki GZ250 is available brand new anywhere for an MSRP of $2,999, according to Suzukis website. Zia had a 2006 listed with a little over 6,000 miles for $1,895, so I thought especially as is, its worth a look. It would have been perfect for me as a beginner bike, with some dents and scrapes, and some rust and cobwebs, and the former owners personal information still under the seat, faulty blinker switches, just little things, nothing major - things that I thought would make it perfect for me with my budget.Then when I agree that I like it, the salesman brings up a $489 fee for the new tires and a carburetor servicing, additional fees for the tank of fuel and the detailing, he just keeps adding fees. But I stood there and check the price of new tires, $80 each online. I have a motorcycle carburetor on my 79 MG, so I know its no big deal to service a carb, I can do it myself, its not anything I would pay a mechanic to do. My dad always changes the tires on his own bikes, Ive seen him do it in minutes, also not a big deal. The gas tank was almost empty, I had seen that for myself when I tested the key in the gas cap, so when they told me they were waiting on it to be gassed up and brought back to the showroom when we arrived, that doesnt seem completely true. It certainly doesnt seem fair to charge extra fees for gassing up a bike that still has such an empty tank.So pretty soon, were almost at a price where I could just buy a brand new one without all the damage and years of storage on it, so we apologized to the salesman for wasting his time and left. I sat on my feelings for a couple of nights before writing this review, but the bottom line remains that I feel like my inexperience played a role in this situation, and I feel like the salesman may have tried to take advantage of that. But again, that is simply how I personally felt when I left, not necessarily what the salesman was thinking.I dont feel the need to name the salesperson, he was courteous and had good jokes, and was generally knowledgeable, and there are plenty of interesting things to see at this dealership, certainly worth a look if you live in Clovis, but not a drive that I will be likely to make again from Hobbs. It is perhaps simply not necessarily well suited to beginners on a budget. I had the cash in hand though, so I bought instead a 2012 Honda Rebel with fewer miles with a private seller, so perhaps they did me a favor in the end!

The Zia guys are great! Even during a pandemic they were more then happy to help me out. These 1 star people probably wouldnt give them a good review even if they gave them the parts and put it on for free. Slow service or some $hit. I guess theirs always 2 sides to the story but trust me they earned my 5 stars and future business.

I have a 2015 RZR 900s that I swamped. Took it to a shop up in Amarillo they told me it would take 4 to 6 weeks for them to get it running, 6 weeks passed and nothing. Picked up my rzr called ZIA Power Sports in Clovis NM, they said to bring it by they will look at it. With in 3 days of them having my RZR they had it up and running again. Great shop great people talk to Rene or Jake for any part needs very knowledgeable.

This place has reasonable prices and they are fast with tire changes and plugs.

This is a terrible business with a horrible GM. Dont trust the four star rating. THEY ARE WRITING THEMSELVES FIVE STAR REVIEWS. After two customers wrote a one star review they had three accounts write 5 star reviews within one hour. What are the odds of that? I am the Card Holder with my squadron on the Air Force Base nearby and we spend quite a lot of money here. I will be looking into other avenues for maintenance on our off road vehicles.

Got a tube and tire from here. 2 months later tube is no good. I only road a few times after getting it. Now they dont want to even honor a replacement tube and because of that my tire is now gone too! These people use to be good back in the day when they were Suzuki. Now, they are $

Shady business practices. I ordered tires from them and they told me over the phone and in person it was a $20 install fee to put the tires on which is fine, that’s what it is at most places. When I got there to pick up my ATV they tried to bill me $130 to put two tires on plus they did work I never asked them to do and then billed me for it. Won’t be going again that’s for sure. To anyone reading, just order your stuff online it’s half the price.

Ive talked to them a few times, they have gotten back to me on 1 occasions. I found the utv I want, the last guy I talked to refused to work on the price. After finding out what people paid for their talon all around the country, not a chance I am over paying 3-4 k at this place... I do not recommend doing business here.

On Wednesday I Called about a bike I dropped off Saturday. I was told when I dropped it off that it would be ready that next Friday. The service manager had said they hadnt had it in yet and that it wouldnt be ready Friday. That they had not even ordered parts for it yet. Im an easy guy.....when I asked why not....the guy said that he didnt have to explain himself to me....okie doke....then I aint paying them.

Had to bring my bike in for some service - stored outside way too long by the previous owner. Ended up needing a fair amount of work. Don and Jake helped me out on the price and it only took a little extra time to get it all squared away and road worthy. I appreciate the work you guys do and thank you for being military friendly. Hope you get lots of business.

Jereme had the best deal on a new Honda dirt bike after I called several dealers. It only took about 3 minutes on the phone to make a deal and give a deposit. I picked the bike up the next day and was in and out in 15 minutes. This was the easiest dirt bike purchase Ive ever made. I will definitely call Zia for any powersports needs in the future.The parking area is a little crowded with UTVs, ATVs, and motorcycles, but I didnt have any trouble finding a parking spot. The dealership isnt the newest or shiniest, but they have the most inventory Ive ever seen. Great selection and great prices is all I want from a dealer.

This is the worst business in Clovis. They didn’t detail what my charges were going to be when I brought my bike in to be service. Then they added stuff in there that I did not ask for so that they could justify their outrageous prices. They also didn’t even complete the things that they charged me for. Horrible business and I will never go back.

As a 3 year ZIA customer, I can say that they are the best in New Mexico. As an OFFROAD mechanic, The Service Dept. is honest about pricing and works with you to get your machine fixed while exceeding expectations and remaining within budget. They also will get your machine fixed much faster than the surrounding big cities... Tanner, Jake, and all the staff get the job done right the first time. We will be doing buisness with ZIA for years to come.

If there’s an option for ten stars, I would give it to them.In this fast pace society, most companies just go through the motion. However, zia power sports really showed me great customer service in a long time. Tanner was very helpful and reasonable on price, everything was taken care of in a timely manner, he even helped me tie down the side by side himself! Shows a lot of care and service. Both the service manager and the Kearan was very nice. Kearan is very professional with paperwork and showed me some awesome products. I would recommend all my family and friends!

First, nowhere to park the lot is chock full of quads, sXs and 3 wheelers. Then the parts department never has anything in stock, it always has to be ordered. Hey Zia, its called the internet, I can order it too for half as much. And when I brought my generator in for a recall they (surprise) had to order parts to do the recall. I took my generator home and they were going to call when the parts came in. They never called. Sucks that this is the best we have to deal with, Id rather drive to Lubbock and go to Family Powersports or order stuff online.

I bought a used bike and needed tires and they never called me back after almost a month so I got my money back. I wouldnt ever buy another part or motorcycle from here ever again. Plus Im waiting on my tags still and I could have just went down to the DMV and had them that day. Poor customer relations and lazy employees is the problem!

Worst experience at a motorcycle shop I have had in a while. Brought my bike in for 2 issues and after 2 months of them having my bike and nearly 1300 dollars down the drain, I have 1 issue fixed and still have the other one. Good people but terrible service. Sucks its one of the only places near the base. Highly dont recommend.

Was in the market to get a new rzr side by side. Went to my local dealership here in town and the price was ridiculous with frieght and setup and they wouldnt work on the price of the machine. Went online saw they had a machine at the price I wanted thinking it was to good to be true. Called them up over the phone since they are an hour and a half away from me. Salesman told me it was the price out the door frieght and setup with registration fee. No bs straight forward. And it was my first time doing a sale over the phone. Will purchase more units in the future from them

Took two rims off my bike, ordered tires, and tubes. Took it all to Zia to just to have it mounted. They mounted the tires (no balance and no disposal) they charged $216! I will let the other military folks know not to purchase here. WAY up charged.

If I could give them no star, I would...Brought my bike there for repair, and instead of fixing it, they sliced the fuel line, then after I got it home and realized what had happened, I called them and they tried to say they didnt do it, and not to mention, were incredibly rude about it. Needless to say they didnt fix it, and I do not recommend anyone go there. I will also be letting my fellow military friends know of this so it doesnt happen to them. This is the kind of stuff that really infuriates me about small towns--the less the competition, the less people care. I would expect more from a town that military is the whole reason this town even exists in the first place. Shame on them!

These folks are top notch.

Our temporary license plate expired July 1. It’s now July 19 and it’s been a hassle getting this place to mail our plates (we live 2 hours away), can’t even get another temporary paper plate in the meantime since they “don’t think that’s necessary.” I’ve called three times since expiration and keep getting an expected delivery date but they don’t deliver. What’s the point of buying a motorcycle there if you can’t ride with an expired license plate? No plates in the mail, but already received second billing cycle.

I drove five hours out of my way during a cross country ride to this shop because they assured me they had my tire size in stock. Once there I was told sorry they dont have it, it was a mistake. The woman I was talking to in parts wouldnt even let me use the wifi password to try to find a tire elsewhere locally. I am beyond disappointed in this shop. Avoid.

Made an appointment 3 weeks out to have the 8k service performed and have a part installed. The service schedule indicates an oil change was not needed, yet an oil change was performed (wasted my time). Fortunately I bought the service plan so I didnt pay for it. I also had to wait for them to track down a tool needed for the part install. . . they should have had the tool as they had plenty of time to prep for the instal lprior to my appointment (time wasted x2) Last, when the bike was returned, all the stuff in my saddlebag had been rearranged. . . and worse yet CRAMMED back into the saddlebag to the point the latch mechanism is messed up. Cant figure out what part of the service required accessing my saddlebags, nor can I see any damage that may have occurred to my helmet after they smashed it back into the the compartment.Why should I trust the experts that cant/wont reference a service manual? How can I trust an organization that needlessly roots through my saddlebags and destroys the contents?
