Really great people work here at this music store. They are dedicated and knowledgeable. However, I feel that the stock of instruments is drastically shrinking, and there isnt much variety. I also have noticed that tarpleys charges a few hundred dollars more on average for a guitar than guitar center.

Came in to equip my daughter for beginners band. They had everything I needed, and I found out their rentals are rent-to-own and interest-free, which is a big plus. Staff was friendly and attentive, and my needs were met with no delays or hassle.

Friendly musicians work here. The staff was able to recommend me acoustic guitar strings based on experience, which is nice. The selection is limited if you are looking for weird stuff like 8-string guitar string packs (which they dont have), but they have a great selection of all of the standard stuff youd want for guitar.

Need and instrument they got them. Need instrument repaired, they can do that also. They can even install pro Audio/Video and lighting for your House of Worship, School auditorium, or Band Hall. You name it, theyll do it. Great staff. I always feel welcome when I come in.

Everyone here has always been super helpful and honest. If there is a deal better somewhere else they will either match it or encourage going with the better deal.

This place is very clean and inviting, with a nice display of guitars and amps all ready for you to plug in and play. These guys do not try and push anything on to you and are all very friendly.

Gentleman who assisted me was knowledgable and helpful, walked away with a nice new electric acoustic guitar!

I was in the market for a specific musical instrument and was unable to locate it for a price I could pay. I wandered into Tarpley, to inquire. They did not have what I was looking for at the store, the gentleman took my name and number promising to check their other stores and call me back. Within 2 days he called me back he had not been able to locate what I was looking for and promised to continue looking. Yesterday I stopped in to check with him, another gentleman who was there, told me that if I had not been called back what I was looking for was not in the inventory in any of the other 4 stores. The second gentleman asked if I had looked online, I told him I had but the prices were way more than I was able to pay, this gentleman started looking online for me and found exactly what I wanted for way less that I thought it was going to cost me (he did this without me asking him to, knowing that he was not going to get paid if I ordered online). Tarpley music has my business for all my music needs.
