The staff was nice restaurant was clean I ordered two tacos and an enchilada and rice and beans the tacos was small hardly any meat hardly any lattice cheese no tomato very disappointed in my dinner if I go back and eat I hope they do a better job with my dinner more meat lattice cheese tomatoes and onions if they do that Ill be a happy camper but right now I dont know how to think about it going back

This market houses Phils corner and a mexican food place. Pretty cool. I was running to Phils but he wasnt open so i would suggest calling before you drive all the way across town. I havent tried the Mexican food yet but next time i go and Phils isnt operating I will. I bought a couple of scratchers and hit so I would come back to this nice clean store.

Great craft beer selection. The owner was very nice. The taco place is alright, not bad but also nothing special.

They have it all cold beer great BBQ. tacos. good selection of alcohol, craft beer,and wine.

The store has everything you need, but the food is why we came! There carne asada tacos are the best in town!

Peacock Market has always been a great little store. What I have come to realize is that most of the people I have known had no idea that this little gem of a store as actually been operating for so, so many years. Im so glad to see the new owner turning it back into the full market that it once was. All the improvements have brought Peacock Market back to life and He is far from being done. Everyday the new owner looks at his store and think of a new way to make it the neighborhood market place that it once was. Its always a pleasure to see what will be coming next..... Awesome job Peacock Market, and to the staff, keep up the good work. As always they are great individuals

Phils Corner bbq is delicious!!!

I grew up with the original Peacock Market. Our family our grocery store!This was 50 years ago and the times have truly been a change. I really wish Peacock could go back to what it was way back then. Clovis would not be the same and the costumers would love it. Owners would be rich!

Friendly service, small location so not a lot of choices, decent butcher shop, good bbq

They have this HUGE local craft brew section. There is a BBQ joint AND a Taqueria inside. Plus random drink specials when they clear their inventory. Hear another eatery will be opening inside soon.

This is my spot for all those quick grabs. BBQ in-house is delicious. Cold beers and sodas.

We go here because the water dispenser machine is on the property. We fill our three gallon jugs here when they run out.

Since the remodel, the have more of a dining restaurant and less of a grocery area which is great to sit and eat some delicious carnitas tacos!

Under new management!! The store is much cleaner and nice new floors. They have a nice cold drinks selection. They also have a small restaurant that serves BBQ sandwiches, etc..... nice counter help too.

The taco shop here is false advertising to get people in and not honoring the very large sign out front. They also are charging an extra .45 for using a card that is not advertised and doesnt come up on the register. You dont find out until you see your bank statement. They have now lost my business.

Convenience store is very clean. Owners/employees are friendly and helpful. We love stopping by for an amazing breakfast burrito from Phils.

One of the oldest names in Clovis retail is Peacock Market. It was once a popular and bustling grocery store for folks from Clovis and the foothill communities. Now its a convenience/liquor store. A far cry from its origins but historic none the less.

I remember going here in the 70s. Its convenient for me. But the people that work there arent the same. They are rude, not to friendly & always talking on their phones in another language. Half the time Im not even sure they can speak any English. Heaven forbid they here me asking for something over counter.

Eat at the smaller taco shop there in the corner.. The peacock shop has a bbq group in it but the meat is indeed, the bbq sauce is yuck and the burritos are ug... The little shop on the NE corner though, has delicious food.... The shrimp tacos are only$2 apiece... Delicious too!

Very small, not a lot of items to select from very clean though. It seemed that everyone that walked in, only went to the alcohol section, which was very large. The BBQ place in the back, Phils was fantastic

Newly renovated, great staff, I love this place, its always so clean, and they have everything I need when Im in a hurry and cant go to the grocery store, oh plus they have fresh produce and some really good BBQ its no longer smokeys BBQ . It is now PHILLS corner grill which is way better

This marketis a sad excuse for market the main guy is rude. Denied me because he thought I had a fake Id? Do people even make fake ids anymore? Lol even though I have been there multiple times and the same guy cashed me out but never id me before I have a feeling he denied me because he was holding my Id for a long time and looking at it then at me for a good minute and I said dang ur looking at that for a long time and thats when he said oh sorry annoyed like he cant serve me and put the butane to the side I feel like he got annoyed because I a woman talked back to him. Maybe hes not used to that but come on dude its 2016. Im a nice girl 21 years old I mean no harm ever it was just so weird. Thats never happened to me before. Also it looks like no one ever cleans in there dust on the packages and dirt on the floor I reccomend ANY other market.
