Extremely happy with my experience. Ryan the manager was very attentive to a problem I had and turned the situation around. I had my tires installed, balanced and aligned in less then 2 hrs. Purchased a life time on some things I would definitely recommend getting like, tire rotation, alignment, and a plug repair for life that’s a great value. Over all I would recommend this store
Made an appointment for 1:30pm and promptly arrived at this time. I am a long term customer who has had good experiences at Firestone for the past 10 years. Joseph did the necessary paperwork and indicated it would take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete the work - basic oil change, rotate tires, etc. - nothing too difficult just the basics. Came back at 3:45pm (2 hours and 15 minutes later) to find the car had never been moved - no work was completed. No explanation was offered and no attempt was made to see if they could get me in next. I asked for my car keys and decided I will not go back to Firestone again. I understand its difficult to find workers during these times - and most customers are understanding of work shortages. But why schedule customer appointments when you cant fulfill the work? Half of my workday was wasted only to find out the work couldnt be completed. Ill find a place that can at least be professional.
Over 2 hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation and still waiting
I was recently at the store for services. I had a nail in my tire. I drop it off at 645 PM and my car was ready early the next morning. I was extremely happy with the quick turnaround and the team was very nice and courteous.
Arrived on time for my 11 a.m. appointment for an oil change, tire balance and rotation on 9/13/2021. Upon first entering the lobby a gentleman was waiting at the counter for a non-existent attendant. After waiting 15 minutes the guy came in from the shop in the back who clearly had an attitude, the manner in which he addressed the gentleman in front of me in regards to a basic question regarding his service was not only unprofessional but downright rude. At this point after having waited as long as I did I felt it was not worth my time and certainly not my money to deal with this individual. It is unfortunate but having been a regular customer at this specific location that I will no longer be returning here due to this employees performance. I realize times are difficult and getting quality employees can be a challenge however this was uncalled for and seriously lacked the professionalism and care specifically as relates to honoring appointments. I will need to take my money somewhere else.
Efficient service team, they dont try to sell you things that you dont need. I trust them.
I went to have my tires replaced. I got a call telling me I need a new air filter. I declined and picked up my car . It was making a loud sound it didn’t make before I dropped it off. I opened my hood and the cover to the air filter was just sitting on top of my engine and the air filter completely exposed. I will take it to another location to have everything checked. Clearly this location is careless.
Made an appointment for 4pm, get there and Im told they they know if theyll be able to take me, and to hold on while they help other people. Im not going to sit around and wait for you to figure out if you can honor my appointment.
They take forever to check a car, first time they did not even check what was wrong with the car they only said it’s the tires …to sell of course !!! i had to go back the next day so they check the car again …with me driving on a highway for them to see that the car has a issue!!! At the end it was the axle…what they couldn’t figure out !!! I am super upset !!! . If I wouldn’t have the credit card with them I wouldn’t even use their service!!!!
I can always count on the Firestone Auto Care Professionals to do a great job of maintaining my 2004 Mustang.
This place is the best and Ryan is fenomenal. I went to get an alignment and I was out in about an hour, prices are great. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Read all the one star reviews...it’s the same story over and over again. This place does not communicate with customers, holds the cars for hours for simple work like a tire plug/oil change, fails to perform requested work(after holding the car for hours), and then the work they do perform is shoddy at best...Then their corporate responders chime in with “oh please send us an email, so we can waste more of your time telling us what went wrong, even though we’ll do nothing about it and the store will continue with this same level of poor service” been responding to one stars for years same thing keeps happening👎The 5-star reviews are luck and probably corporate media team faking it...
Fair price. Great customer service.
I arrived at this location with a tire at 6:18pm on August 9 and one of the guys that work at the shop was on the phone for more them 5 min. Finally he finished his conversation and ask like this is ( what up bro) after i told him my problem he told all he can do is add air on my tire and come back tomorrow because they close at 7 and they are getting to close.
Bring all of my cars here because its five minutes from the house, very professional spot never had an issue. Whether you buy Firestone tires or tires from tire rack or simple tire and get them shipped the level of service is great regardless.
Ive been using Firestone for oil changes for over 6 years. The next to last time, they forgot a screwdriver inside the hood. Im glad I caught it before it could cause any damage to the engine. The last time they changed the oil, they did not tighten the oil pan screw properly and it left me with $595 in damages. I can say with certainty Ill never use them again.
Very rude. I just left...
Terrible made a appointment 2 days earlier for 9:00 a.m. (estimated time to do a oil change 1 hr.) OK I will schedule my day accordingly. I get there and they tell me 2 1/2 hours? How can you plan that way? The man at reception obviously overwhelmed! Thought I would buy 2 tires got them at TireKingdom.
Why is it okay to tell a customer that only comes here btw with a Firestone credit card that he doesnt have time to looks at your brakes even tho we made the appointment for that reason. The guy said he short handed and tell me to go to another company. Lazy and disrespect to a new high.
All was good, and they did a good job patching my tire and getting me out within an hours time. Very satisfied
I didn’t have a good experience but I believe it all caused by the front desk associate. I left my car at 10 am on Saturday. when they told me that my car will be ready in 20 min, I took Uber and got there at 4:10. They asked me to wait because “they were finishing my car”. At 4:40 the same associate who checked in my car, casually informed me that they can’t fix my car and left back to the back office right away not letting me to ask or say anything. At that point after waiting for 40 minutes and after he gave me bad news in a not professional way, I got frustrated and I didn’t even want to ask if they can fix my car other day. I think Firestone is a good place, I just had a bad luck dealing with that gentleman (the order shows Jeffrey). Most likely he just treats everyone like this who are 20 years younger than him and drive cheap cars. I never really write any reviews, but this experience was very frustrating.
I came an hour before closing with my car on a tow and they were able to put the new tire on for me right away and it was a Saturday. I’ve been coming to this Firestone for years and even though I’m not as close to it as I used to be I will still drive to this location for service. They are always a pleasure and very professional to work with. I highly recommend getting tire and oil change services here. A+ services.
This place sucks. Dont waste your time.
I replaced the tires of my Lexus. In the course of the replacement, one of the tpms sensors broke. Although it was not originally diagnosed, I came back to reset the low air pressure gauge. It didnt work. The dealer determined it was the wrong tpms. Ryan made no excuses and ordered an OEM replacement. Firestone took responsibility and Ryan and Patrick stayed on top of it. It took a few times and why I didnt give them 5 stars. It was mostly because of the service person that should have handled it to start cost the 5th star. I do give Ryan 5 stars for follow-up. The moral of the story is things dont always go right, nor is everything always going to be perfect. Its the fact that the issues were not ignored nor did they make any excuses for the mistake. Thats the reason I trust them with all of my vehicles.
Very poor customer service, representative went into unprofessional communication with customer when feedback requested regarding time frame of expected work, will never go backUnfortunately the site does not allow rating below one star,I would rate this below any standard
Ryan and Patrick were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Everything was explained in detail and the service I received was great. No issues, no complaints. Great job.
I am an essential health worker who delivers pharmaceutical products to nursing homes all over South Florida, so getting a nail in a tire is a frequent occurance. I carry all off the necessary tools and even a portable air compressor. I have repaired many tires before, but this one was different: A piece of box cutter blade embedded itself in the tire. As I was on a delivery deadline and many elderly patients depended on my timely deliveries, I patched this hole but it started leaking a few weeks later. When I called Firestone and explained the situation and the fact that the tire will need to be patched from the inside, they (Jess) said no problem and even gave me an estimate of $32.00 for the repairs. When I took it there, I was informed that once I plug my own tire, they would not touch it per Firestone policy, and proceeded to sell me a replacement tire. When I mentioned my prior conversation, everyone there denied speaking with me. I even showed them my call log on my phone.Have they informed me that it was their policy up front, fine, Id take my vehicle to a different place. But the fact that I was outright lied to, and wasted my valuable time I should be spending recovering during these stressful times just made me very upset. Firestone, Ive used your services before, but after this experience, you will never see a penny from me. The only favor you can do for me at this point is that you dont try to contact me, offer me discounts, or publicly apologize to save face. Your brand ceased to exist in my reality.
Best place to take care your car by professionals
If you are looking for a trustworthy place to leave your car in good hands, FIRESTONE, Coconut Creek is the place to go. Ive been going to this place for almost 10 years and my mechanic is Enoch, 100% trustworthy, and when he is not working, like today, the other guys took care of my car as well, excellent service! Everybody is so friendly and they get you in and out especially in this pandemic situation. They are following all protocols to keep us safe and covid-19 free. Thank you all!
Professional service, polite, knowledgeable and friendly.
Once again a quick and professional service on my vehicle. I very happy with the work and staff who are managed by Ryan with his calm professional manner.Patrick at the service desk always makes sure that my work is done right the first time.I have always had faith in their advise and complete satisfaction with their work. They do it all and they do it right..
Never deal with Firestone as a whole. their regional manager and district manager (specifically) is a douche bag.i will say this to the death of me, never deal with this company, if youre apart of a car group. please do the car community a service and never spend a dime with any Firestone store. my entire group of 250+ car enthusiast dont do business with them. just dont do it.
Oil and air filter change can you do it. Yes ! Check engine two days later. Didn’t put the cap on coolant, on brake oil, plastic on top of the engine that holds the air filter all messed up and didn’t put the air filter the right way. Never go here these guy have no idea what a mechanic is. Plus didn’t know how to put the plastic back so they broke it in one corner. Firestone is known for its service
Was good, didnt have to make appointment, just walked in, got oil change, left. Simple
This location would steal from the blind!!
Had a appointment ment they got me in and out in the time quoted fast friendly service
Wifey took car for oil change yesterday- came home and I checked all fluids. Power steering low, windshield wiper fluid empty, brake fluud half full. Supposed to top off all fluids. At this point I doubt they even did the oil change. Will be going underneath car to check the oil filter tomorrow to see if they changed that. I do not recommend this place.
Great service and great customer service!
I had a flat tire this morning and this was one day after I had gone to the dealership to see why the tire pressure indicator light (showing it was my front left tire) would not shut off. They told me there was no leak, but that the indicator was for the back tires which had to be replaced. With only 24,700 miles on my leased 2017 Nissan Altima - I did not believe them. They said a nail was in the front left tire but could not be repaired and I would have to get a new tire to get the light to shut off. They assured me that the tire was NOT losing air and that the indicator would remain on until I got a new tire.😒 Next morning, the tire was flat - I put some air in it and went straight to Firestone, where Ryan helped me. He was very professional and attentive. He said they would check it out and let me know if it could be repaired. Within 15 minutes, he came back with the answer - the tire could indeed be repaired! When it was finished, Ryan told me about the Firestone credit card - I applied and was accepted on the spot! He said the repair would not cost me anything. Talk about making my day!!!!!!!!!!!!! My car has found a new home - I will bring it to Firestone from this day forward and tell my friends what great service I received. Thank you, Ryan and thank you Firestone!!It is refreshing to find honesty and integrity in your employees.👍
Great spot. manager and staff are super friendly. Especially Desmond. great guy.
The guy at the front was super helpful. I brought in my cousin in laws tire because the SUV had a flat and my cousin was out of town. They were able to find the leak, mark it, then plug and patch it while I waited for a very reasonable price!
My father has been a loyal customer of Firestone for decades. It is his preferred brand and he recommended I come here to remove a screw in my tire.I was greeted by a friendly gentleman named Kirk who assisted me in getting this tire patched. He was humorous and took care of my issue right away. I had an appointment to go to afterwards but Firestone completed the work in a timely fashion and for that I commend them.Overall, this Firestone is immaculate, and is within a reasonable driving range from my residence.Kirk deserves recognition for getting the job done.
I have a 2019 Mustang GT. I went in just for an oil change. After they got it done (1 1/2 hrs) they took it for a test drive. I asked the guy at the counter if they normally did that, and he said that they did. I have never been to a place that did that. If I had known that they did that, I would have told them no. Im never taking my car here again. To top everything off, they failed to put one of the valve stem covers back on my tire when they aired them up.
Very unprofessional business. I went in for a oil change, full inspection, and tire rotations. I had to ask three times just to make sure they did all the work especially the tire rotations. Left the place happy thinking that all the work was done on my car. I drive long hours to commute to work and I want to make sure my car is in tiptop shape. The next day I noticed the tires weren’t rotated at all. This business basically lied to me in my face about the work done on my car. At this point I don’t even know if they even did an oil change on my car. Not to mention I waited five hours for my car. Please try to avoid this shop at all cost
Worse tire change ever don’t care about the customers just sales
I had an okay experience here. I try to be honest and give credit where it’s due. I think I paid a fair price after doing my research but I also think they didn’t do a good job setting expectations. They kept things vague about price when I just wanted a estimated price for new rear brakes. They finally told me between $150-$300. So that’s what I anticipated. When I took it in they said expect a call within an hour to give them permission to go ahead with the brake replacement and then to expect it to be done in 2 hours total. I received a call after 1 hour and 50 min saying that it would cost $530 for the brakes and that it would be another 2 hours from that time. So after that much of my time that had already been taken it wasn’t worth trying to figure something else out. They ended discounting something down for me and made it $440 but still far over what they said on price and time.
I have been here three times total over the years since I work in the area. All three times they were really helpful and truthful in repairing tires (seems like the roads in South fla are full of nails etc) and to check tire treads on some cars in case they need replacement. I was able to come in the AM and wait one hour working on my laptop. Desk employees are friendlyunlike the chilly reception I have received at Audi or Volvo in the past.
I had rims delivered there. They mounted and balanced new tires for the rims quick and didnt mess my rims up at all. 4 stars is because they only had budget brand tires or super high performance grip tires for the size I needed 225/4/18. I opted for the grip tires and they are very grippy almost to the point where turning the steering wheel feels a bit different.
They always give me honest opinion and their work is guaranteed. They stand behind their work. If it isnt right they make it right
Had two flat tires within 3 days. Very accessible and happy they were able to get my daughters car back on the road. Solid service.
I brought my car there 2 months ago bc my brakes were making a loud sound. They said everything was fine I didn’t need service .. the sound didn’t stop and brought it back in today and now I need an entire brake job. Pads, rotors etc a HUGE billNow.Had it been checked properly 2 months ago this would have been a much smaller bill.Very unhappy costumer nowHard to believe or trust these guys
When my car needs tires or brakes these are the only people I trust. They are completely honest and always offer the best options. I never feel pressure to do any service and they even bring me to the car to show me the issues and will re-walk me through once they are corrected to show the work they have done. I have been coming to this place for the past 2 years and they really go above and beyond to make sure I am happy with the service. Alex is my favorite customer service rep but everyone in there is really friendly and helpful.
Took my cars here many time for new tires, alignment, balance... Always VERY happy with results and professionalism!p.s. never done any mechanical repairs, brakes nor suspension work... cannot judge that type of work.
Stopped by on 2-19-20 for a oil change $65,47.The upsale on service I did not need was $300,00 .I was also informed my cabin air filter needed to be replaced my, vehicle a 2008 navigator doesnt have one!! If you dont want to be taken for a ride steer clear of FIRESTONE..PERIOD!!!
They did an oil change on my Mazda I really appreciate them tonight Im headed out to go fishing at 6 in the morning and he took and brought me in the last 30 minutes of the day and change my oil give this place a five-star having the customer service thank you Firestone Jeff youre an awesome dude I appreciate it have a great weekend
Excellent fast and reliable service by Marc and Josh! They took care of a pending issue that two other locations couldn’t!! Very professional customer service! Super happy with the service at Coconut Creek! Thank you!
Wonderful customer service. Clean. Free wifi. Nobody is trying to sell you something that doesnt need to be done immediately. Hands down the best place I have been to for my car. Will not go anywhere else from now on. Loved my experience.
Horrible.... Stay far away.... lied right our face and didnt even skip a beat ...
Unreal. I Show Up At 5:03 Due To A Tire Going Flat, Told 200. Will Get Me A New One or Apply For Their Credit Card And It Would Then Be 180. After An Hour And A Half I Was Waiting In Their Lobby When A Representative Approached Me And Told Me They Could Not Put The New Tire On, Worst Place To Go In My Opinion
Excellent customer service. Great prices and awesome rebates. Will definitely return!
I have been coming to this location for several years and its not terrible, but the service is always subpar. Not to mention, there have been several times where I have made appointments, and upon arrival at the designated appointment time, have been told that they are too busy and then I will have to come back tomorrow or another day.I brought my car in several weeks ago because it was starting to shake on the front end, and they advised that I replace the front shock and strut assembly, as well as a lower control arms. I inspected the car myself and replaced the front shock and strut assembly, however, there was nothing wrong with the lower control arm. It did not need replacing AT ALL.I made a 10 appointment for today and upon arrival, was told that it would be another two hours before they could even take my car in to do a diagnosis of the problem - not even to do an actual job... The front desk employee smiled mockingly in my face and said, are you going to wait or leave the car? Itll be at least two hours before we get the car in. I asked why they made the appointment in the first place if it means Ill have to wait two hours. He chuckled and said, were backed up. I did not receive an apology for the inconvenience. Nothing. This is NOT the first time Ive had issued with this place. Im not one to write negative reviews, but this location deserves it. They have pushed me around and disappointed me numerous times and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor and find a different auto shop.
DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR MONEY! My father who is a mechanical engineer by trade dropped off our car for a simple tire alignment. A few minutes later he received a call from a technician saying we had a brake light out, ball joints needing replacement, and a screw in our brand new, week old tires. Strange coincidence considering he had checked the brake lights and tires thoroughly just before dropping the car off and everything was pitch perfect, the brake light was working fine after getting home too. The screw was in an awkward spot where it could not have penetrated the tire naturally, meaning they, Firestone, vandalized our property and tried to scam us out of $2,000!!
I brought my car in at 1PM for an oil change. They told me it would be done by end of day. No one called me to update me. I called before they were closing and they said they had one car ahead of me and mine would be first in the morning. After keeping my car all night, again no one updating me I had to call to find out my car was going to take another two hours. If you are too busy to bring in additional cars you should let the customer know so they don’t leave their car all night long. Unacceptable. I went here because it is near my home but I will now go elsewhere.
Pretty much always quick if you got an appointment. Price is Right around what it should be for the range of services Ive got done for my 2010 Nissan Versa. Always quick the call and advisory for different repairs, and not pushy about optional fixes or other such things.
Very nice
Good, they always take care of you. Very speedy. Understands personal circumstances. Nice financing options as well.
This Firestone does great work but the quality of the service advisors varies greatly based on who is available.
I went in with my mother-in-law to get tires ... Super professional service, excellent amenities and folks that you can tell take integrity and their job seriously. Technicians seem to work professionally and quickly . They even answer customers questions with courtesy . If looking for your next place to get tires or service work, you just may want to check this place out. As an auto technician myself, I was very impressed with the way these folks work and how they treat their customers. You will not be dealing with another shop thats just trying to suck your wallet dry .Try them out, you will not be disappointed !
Came for tire rotation. They took two tires off. Kept the car for 2h in the garage, then came back to tell me they cannot do the rotation as the tires are too old and suggested I buy new ones for $700. 2h wait time to tell me the tires are old? I just moved here. I was looking for a place I can trust, place that provides good service and respects my time. I need to find different place to spend my money in the future.
Ive been going to Firestone since 1999 and Im always happy with the work done on my car not only that they treat me like a family. Really nice people working at this place.
Except for the fact that I had to come back 2 weeks later for an appointment for an alignment. Place was great
I had a flat tire and it was fixed within the hour. Got quick and efficient service. Ill be back if I ever need my car serviced again!
This was my first time coming to Firestone. An employee from Autozone recommended. When inside this nice gentlemen ask how can he help me. I told him the issue with my car and told me I may not get the car today cause there was 18 other car that was in from of me. I was frustrated and crying do to my car was an issue all day the day before. He ask if I was OK told him yes he ask if he have permission to take a look at the car. Told him yes. They told the car 10min later he came to me and told me what the problem was. I know some mechanic take advantage of women because they know half of us dont knowing anything about cars. I dont know but I felt save here. All he wanted was to put a smile on my face and he did that. Thank you so much. You have one new customer. God bless
The guy who I gave my keys to was very rude and when my car was ready, he left me a short, unpleasant message that my car was ready. I was going to give a worse rating but Brandon was awesome throughout the whole process - setting up the appointment and picking it up. Tires were installed perfectly and would return as long as Brandon is there!
Terrible customer service. I went into the shop and was the only customer there, but the mechanic was doing some work on the computer. I waited several minutes for him to be free and address me, but he walked away into the garage area instead. I continued waiting patiently and when he finally came back, he went back to the computer at the service desk again. I waited a few more minutes and wasn’t even told “Hey give me a minute” or “I’ll be right with you”. I was blatantly ignored for several minutes and finally walked out, without ever being acknowledged, to find a different shop.
Absolute worst. Now for the second time after speaking with them the day before about bring my car in and showing up when they told me, there is no one there to work on my car. Total wast of time. Find another shop to bring your car . This one is not reliable to be there for the customer.
We have been loyal firestone clients for almost a decade. Very sad to say that there is no service here. We have given this location multiple tries but time after time has always failed us. They are disorganized, rude and never on time. Today in particular, we made an appointment at 9am for an oil change. We know they are always busy and running behind so we drop the car off at 8am. We called at 10:30 asking if the car will be done at 11:00 and we got the confirmation. When we got there, my car has not even been looked at and the guy told us they mixed cars up. No apoligze was given. I waited another hour before having to leave without my oil change. I will be contacting the higher management about this issue that has happened to us on more than one occasion.
Good value, honest work. Go early or youll be there for a while.
Dear Firestone,I’m writing this review to let you know that we are breaking up with you. My family members and our 4 vehicles will no longer use your services. We use to have such a great relationship. We trusted you. You were honest. You did good work. However over the years that has deteriorated and you no longer are the same. My car is currently at a dealership because your mechanics not only off put my subframe when improperly installing the control arms that I never needed in the first place. Your manager (Jeff) told me I was lying and that “I am trying to get free work“ and you improperly installed the control arms leaving the bolts loose. That was dangerous. I could’ve been hurt. Instead of just taking ownership, you took me on a one month rigmarole. First by putting the wrong tires on my car completely which you admitted, 3 different sets of tires later you finally got it right. You obviously never cared for my time and the five different days I came back to your shop to let my car sit there all day only for you to lie and try to cover up that you are the one that originally broke it. You have lost your integrity, your honesty, and most of all, your trust. In the beginning it was good. I trusted you. But between putting cheaper tires to honor the expensive tires that I purchased that went bad prematurely, and this whole thing that you, like a thief in the night, try to pull off under my nose. I am leaving you and never doing business with you again. It is over between us. The over $30,000 we have given you in the last 15 years will no longer happen. You have taken us for granted, you have used us, and by performing work that was not needed and on top of that damaging my car in the process, you have stolen money from us. I cannot continue a relationship with a company that behaves as such. You turned out to be a crook. And you stole not only our money and time but our heart as well. But not in a good way. I hope you take care of yourself. And I’m going to remember your last impression. Thanks for that lesson.Sincerely, an old friend... :(
Wish I could give it 0 stars! Terrible service. Made an appointment ahead of time for an alignment, was told the day and time I was coming would get me in/out the fastest within an hour. When I showed up, it took them over 20 mins just to see me at the counter and then they laughed when I told them what I was told when I called. They said I’d have to leave the car for hours which I wasn’t able to do. Avoid this place!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AS MECHANIC SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!I went in there Sep 25 to get an alignment. (That was least of my concerns). I spoke with Ryan (mechanic) over the phone before bringing my car in and expressed to him the severity of my brakes squeaking. I brought my car in, and Ryan helped me. When I was talking to him it was hard to tell if he was acknowledging me or not. (It was like he wasnt there mentally). I told him about the alignment as well as expressed IN DETAIL how important it was for me to get the squeaking noise to stop on my brakes. I told him to please fix them no matter what it takes (I couldnt take the noise anymore!). I dropped my car off 2pm. They didnt tell me about when it would be ready. I had to call them at 5:15pm. Jeff (customer service guy) answered rudely and had NO IDEA what was going on! So, I hung up and sat in limbo again. Jeff finally called me at 6:40 and said, your car is ready to be picked up. No one there EVER updated me on the progression on what was done. (looking back it was bc NOTHING was done!) I went there and he handed me my keys and I asked about the brakes and he had NO IDEA ABOUT ANYTHING on the brakes!! He rummaged through the paperwork trying to find an answer. He said they were fine!! (OMGGGGG). I expressed to him how important it was to me. Ryan the mechanic had already left. Then, on top of all of it, he wanted to charge me to examining a noise!!! I couldnt actually believe it. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!I brought it somewhere else the following week, and it needed new rotors, brake pads, and a new right rear caliper. (I guess the caliper was the problem, causing my brakes to wear out so quickly-(4 months)). I am just so confused, does Firestone want to make money????
Took good care of us near closing on a Sunday.
My experience at Firestone was miserable. I had dropped my car off (without an appointment) at 9:00AM because the Check Engine light was on. I spoke with an employee by the name of Chris, who told me they would be able to look at my car and run a more thorough diagnostic (I had a free diagnostic done at Auto Zone) for $100. Chris also informed me that they would not charge me if they could not detect and/or fix the problem. He asked if he could have the car for the entire day, and I was happy to accommodate his request even though I was hoping to drive to Orlando, FL later that afternoon. At 10:30AM I came back to Firestone as I realized I had left my second set of house keys in the car. My car was already in the back of the shop, hooked up to the machine for diagnostic testing. After retrieving my keys I again spoke with Chris and asked if he had known when I could expect to hear the results of the diagnostic testing. He informed me that since the test was already in progress, I should hear from them no later than 12:00PM.At 1:00PM I still had not heard back from Chris or any of the other Firestone staff. I decided to contact them. Chris answered the phone and was incredibly rude. He told me that the diagnostic procedure could take anywhere from 30min to 4 hours. I asked if he had any idea how much time was left on my vehicle in this same 4-hour window, he told me: If you are going to have such a problem, just come and pick-up the car. I had told him that I did not want to pick-up the car, but was simply curious since I had seen them working on the car at 10:30AM.After speaking with my family, I decided to pick-up the car. I called Firestone to let them know I was coming to retrieve the car and they were even more rude. I ignored their attitude and went anyway. Once arriving in the store, Chris told me: Well, we werent able to finish the results of the test BUT we know already that the repair is going to be very, very expensive. Easily $1,500 here and at the dealership nothing less than $3,000. Thats not even including the price of labor. Its got some serious, serious issues. The irony in this statement is that they did not charge me for the diagnostic testing as the test was incomplete and inconclusive. How do you tell a customer that their car requires $1,500 worth of repairs yet not even know what is wrong with the vehicle? The answer: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.For the information of Firestone and all others reading this post, I took my car to another mechanic which came highly recommended by my family and friends. The repair and labor cost me $786.00 and was completed later that afternoon. Thank you Chris at Firestone. I will never use you or your company again.
Mark, Chris and Patrick service advisors are great. Love the technicians Enoch and Josh.
Excellent service and extremely knowledgeable. They tell you what needs to be fixed. I highly recommend bringing your own car in for honest great service and attention.
Marc the gentlemen who help me was very nice. Said to me I rather you have the quality of a tire and eat the extra couple of bucks. Rather then you have a lesser quality tier and u have to eat it. That my friends is what our country used to be about. I wish more people were like that instead of greed.thanks Marc.
This is definitely a harsh business for reviews usually due to the circumstances but these guys were more then accommodating and really were genuine. A+ in every category. Thanks guys.
Kind.and courteous staff. Alex was great...helpful and courteous. Car finished earlier than promised time, thank you!
I have my fleet company car serviced there and my personal cars serviced. Always pleasant and get me taken care of.
Tried to take my car in for oil change, rotation and alignment check at another firestone, but they were too busy. Called up and was able to drop off with no issues. As with all shops, I received a call with upsells, but they werent pushy about it. Oil change and all was done in a few hours and I was on my way.
I will never return. Went in for simple oil change (no appt.). Was told it would be done in 2 hours. Agreed to wait, but said I couldnt wait anymore than that. They assured me more than once that it would be ready. After waiting 2 hours I looked outside to see my car parked in the same spot- it had not even been pulled in yet. I went to the counter and asked for my keys back as I had to pick my child up from school. No apology - no empathy - no concern - he simply handed my keys back and said here you go. This is no way to do business.
Rip off place, they place a $24.99 Ad, but they will “provide” and charge you a $70.00 service because your car “need”.Last year they refund me half of the money of a service I didn’t need and they were not able to resolve my car’s issues.I have been a client since 2007; but I’m done; first time you let it go, because people can make mistakes; second time you let go, because maybe it was just bad luck; but this place has just been interested to got Coconut Creek’s residents’ money. They are just worry to come to you with a list of “recommended” servicesIt is ironic they wave in the wall a picture of the for beer saying “I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business”.Not mentioning that today besides the overcharge, even with appointment at 7:00. I wait for more than 2 and 1/2 hours for a oil change and check the break pads.Wondering if Firestone Headquarters are aware of how this store is running its business.I’m done; never coming back.TAKE YOUR CAR TO A DEALER. It is cheaper, it has guarantee.
They just lied to me about rotating my tires. This is the second time they have screwed up. This location used to be good, now, Im done with them.
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM GELVIN AND CREW. QUALITY PEOPLE LIKE THEM KEEPS US RETURNING SATISFIED AND EXCEED EXPECTATIONS. THANK YOU GELVIN AND CREW AT COCONUT CREEK!!!
We need to step it up for a 5th stat but still good for basic car care..
Rich Gonsalves was excellent. I would recommend anyone to go see him for anything automotive related.
I called to see if a could get an oil change today and was told they could not. Understandable, but when I told him that I would need it done before Friday because we are leaving out of town, Pats response to me was wait until the last minute ey?. He doesnt know the circumstances as to why we are going out of town. People have family emergencies that require last minute plans. Even though we would always take our car to this location, we will not be returning.
Avoid this rip-off joint! Went in there yesterday and they wanted $32 to patch a flat. This is the kind of thing you give a tech ten or fifteen bucks for and they call it a day.
