When I took my bike here I dealt with Tim. I consider him a friend and, my bike has never run better. They were very thorough and oh, did such a great job. Thanks Tim and, Mountain Valley. You guys rock!
Nice shop changed the oil in my Indian motorcycle. Very friendly staff.
From farm work to pure fun. You can find it here along with stellar service at a very respected local business thats been around for over 35 years.
Great clean shop with up to date inventory and everything you need to get out and have fun on your power sports toys. The service is amazing as they have been in the business for a long time and know what theyre doing.I live 3 hours away and its worth it to me to make the trip and work through Mountain Valley.
Had a starter go out in my older mercury, called these guys and the parts gentleman happened to know what my motor was and that he might have a starter buried in the back....came back 5 minutes later, exact starter I needed. Really appreciate the service and going the extra step. 5 stars from me!
Awesome 👍 . I broke my bike (BMW K16) on a cross country ride. All dealers were 300 miles away. They tried and did fix it a mere hour after i arrived ... Cant say enough nice things about people willing to go out of their way to help a motorcyclist from way out of town. I arrived dejected and left elated. Thanks!!!!
Great place and good repairs
I was in the midst of a long journey when I noticed that my tires werent going to get me home safely. I called 4 Dealerships in Billings Montana (pop 100,000) that claimed to sell tires and do you think one of them had what I needed? (not a chance!)Looking at a map I remembered years ago a friend I was riding with encountered the same situation and was well served in Cody Wyoming (pop 9800). A quick call to Mountain Valley Motorsports and I was delighted to discover they had a number of different tires to fit my BMW.I was on their doorstep when they opened at 9am the next morning and on my way an hour later. Thank-you for the exceptional customer service, much appreciated .
Fantastic people very helpful and great knowledge
Terrible service I called and I live an hour away and asked if they had tires for a Harley motorcycle they gave me a quote for a little over $500 for two tires I called around and found the same tires for $160 cheaper and went ahead and bought those but the place I bought those at was busy and I had already been told by mountain valley that they had the time to do my tires today and it would only take them about an hour. I brought my bike in their garage and brought my tires in for the owner I believe to tell me that he wasnt going to be able to do it today he was upset and through a little bit of a fit about how I didnt buy the tires from him when I found the same exact tires for $160 cheaper somewhere else I will definitely never bring any business back there again and I will make sure I steer everybody I know away from them terrible business. I dont know if its because of the virus going around and how bad its affecting businesses or what because they seem to have ok reviews but definitely lost me and anyone I know. As a costumer.
We were visiting town and needed assistance unloading my boyfriends busa! Tim was very willing to assist us and it wasn’t easy the way we had it loaded ! Very nice place clean and Tim answered every question we had about a few of the bikes he had in the shop as we are shopping for an upgrade! If you ever need a helping hand they are great to talk to and assist. We offered to pay him for his help and he would not take out money! Very thankful for his help!!!
Tom the owner answered a call from the road and helped me over the phone. (Not many people would even do that) He gave me the confidence to keep riding and get the bike back to the shop. He was able to most likely figure out what was going on with the bike. He did this with what little info I was able to give him from miles away.
Theyve always done great work on my dirt bikes and street bike.
I was passing through Cody with my son as part of a 33 day post graduation trip. His tire was looking pretty skinny and it was time for both of us to get an oil change. Tom and his crew got us in and out faster than we could walk to get breakfast and return. Top knotch service by a very friendly staff. Getting us on the road was their top priority. Go there and spend your money! Thanks Tom.
On a Moto trip with friends and needed a tire in a hurry. They took care of me over the phone and dropped everything and installed my tire in less than 30 minutes. First class service and great guys. Stop in if your in Cody.
Today, while visiting Cody, we developed a break in the support arm on our hitch. We pull a Time Out trailer with a 2004 Honda Goldwing and are from out of town (week 6 of a cross country trip). We found Mountain Valley Motorsports and went there immediately. Within 2 hours, their service department had welded our hitch and had us back on the road. They are highly professional, courteous and skilled at their job. We cannot thank them enough for the repair. We even made the night rodeo!
Service was fast and they had the tires I needed. They drove the 70+ miles to Yellowstone to trailer my bike back to the shop in Cody. Exceptional service when I needed it 1400 miles away from home.
Quality mechanics, decent prices. They have a good selection of new and used bikes.
I live in Cody, been to Mountain Valley Sports couple times, each time the same experience, Tom the owner is unequivocally the most unfriendly, unhelpful, unappreciative example of customer service there is. WONT BE BACK!Go to Rodgers Sports on Big Horn Ave, they are very friendly, incredibly accommodating and most of all, dont try to make you feel like a complete dumbass every time you visit - imagine that?
Thursday June 16, 2016We were in Cody to ride the Chief Joseph and Beartooth Hwy and we had a flat. Since we were in town, I headed for Mountain Valley Motosports. They replaced the tube in 15 minutes and I bought 2 other items and got out the door for
Check tire dates, they sell OLD out of date tires
Purchased a used motorcycle from them a few years ago, still runs strong!
Had trouble with my bike in vacation they ordered the parts and ups dropped the ball I was leaving the next morning so they dug through the past they had and got me back on the road. Great service would recommend them to anyone :)
Thanks guys! Got my bike done super quick!
Me and a friend were on a motorcycle trip last week with Yellowstone as our destination. During a fuel stop in Shoshoni, Wyoming, I discovered that my rear tire was wearing excessively. Thank goodness for technology, I asked my son in Nebraska to find a motorcycle repair shop in Cody, WY. After calling a few places, he suggested MVM. Skylar, who answered the phone there, was very helpful. He informed me that he had the tire I needed for my GSA and would stay open and wait for me to arrive. Now thats service! We arrived at MVM before they closed, Skylar assessed my issue and we made arrangements to have not one but two tires replaced the next morning. This wasnt a problem since we were staying in Cody that night anyway.I got to the shop a bit early the next morning and was promptly serviced and out the door in less than an hour.Thank you to the crew of MVM for minimizing my down-time and making my trip completely trouble free. Service like this is rare these days. Their customer service is commendable.
A buddy and I were on a motorcycle trip from eastern Nebraska to Yellowstone and points west. We only had a week and planned on seeing as much as possible.Well, my 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 had different plans once I hit the 6500 to 7500 ft elevation. My bike was not happy with the change in altitude and wouldnt let me proceed west. I did some looking in the FJR forums and found that there was a recall bulletin on my bike that had never been taken care of by the previous owner (thanks buddy). Since the bike was 10 years old the recall was actually expired per Yamaha.Tom did me a solid and contacted Yamaha and asked that they honor the replacement to which Yamaha did on a part only basis which meant that I needed to cover shipping and labor. I agreed and the part was shipped overnight and I received a call 10:30am saying the part was in and to limp my bike in for repair. Ok...10:30am in Cody Wyoming!!Ryan the mechanic installed the part in about 20 mins and the problem was solved and we were able to continue on our trip with only one day lost. Tom, Ryan, Evan and the rest of the MVM team were professional and did what it took to help a traveler in distress. Tom even asked that I give him a call when I got back home to let him know that everything was good and that I made it home safe! These are real people that are about business. Tom is a guy that says hello and can I help you to every person that walks through his door. I was lucky they were there in Cody and was at their mercy. I got out of there for $100! I am sure half of that was shipping! They did right by me for sure! Thanks MVM!
Inventory low
Great customer service! Easy buy!
I can not believe they are this in business they quoted me 3-4 days and $60-$70 to re spoke a 12 rim 10 days later they called and said it was done and charged me $160 they told me who ever told me that only quoted the parts not labor i guess thats one way to do business...
Gave me a quote and were going to charge me $1300 to rebuild the carbs. So I went and picked it up and they stole my key. NEVER doing business with these thieves again.
A staff of rude bullies. My ATV was worked on without permission then held hostage until I paid. I was yelled at by the manger and the mechanic. The owner used intimidation tactics.
Good people good inventory
Great guys, great service,
