We were in town visiting on a Sunday and decided to stop in for some frozen deliciousness. The building is old school but clean and nicely decorated. There was a nice selection of ice cream flavors to choose from. I had the Oreo Madness! It was great! They also have an air hockey table that you can play for free in the back of the shop! Its such a cute little ice cream shop! Be sure to stop if you are in town!

Was really craving ice cream and saw they had both dairy free Ice cream AND gluten free cones so we stopped in. Both the chocolate and vanilla are amazing! So rich, creamy, and has the real ice cream feel! Will absolutely be back!!

Just stopped by with my kid for some ice cream. I got the Maine blueberry which was fantastic. Nice little location, Ill definitely be coming back here throughout the summer.

Amazing ice cream, would definitely hit this place up again when in the area. Lots of different flavors, ask about the giant $23 sunday with 8 scoops!!!

Nice location right across from the village green. Creative flavors as well as the classics. Ice cream was not bad, but not blown away. Good quantity for the price.

Mels is always a terrific place to visit. The staff is warm and friendly. The treats are delicious. And Mel herself is incredibly giving to her community. I would give 10 stars if possible.

Such a special spot! Really unique flavors like graham central station, a Graham cracker ice cream with chocolate covered honeycomb pieces. With some of their homemade whipped cream its absolute heaven. Such friendly service too. Highly recommend!

We visit often we always get a large cup of icecream we eat half there and save half for later theyre not constant on their portions and if you get soft serve they leave the center hollow we love the icecream but for what your paying for its very expensive wed be better off going to the grocery store and buying it there I did speak to one of the workers there about the portions and the soft serve and she totally agreed and said she would speak to the workers. But it hasnt changed.

Surprise find! Google recommended Mad Hatter Cafe which is specialty ice cream. Pulled in right next door to this hometown, simple in the best way, DELICIOUS ice cream. So glad for the accident because Extreme Chocolate is appropriately named :-D and strawberry included actual strawberry pieces. Tasted REAL (and they have soft serve, for those who want that) in cups, cones, milkshakes, sundaes, floats, specialty sundaes (had some crazy looking ones on their menu!) and banana splits. During COVID-19 craziness, their curbside, delivery, and pickup options were helpful and the walk-in pickup was one-way and tape on the floor to help social distancing. Skip the Mad Hatter and go here!

The Peanut Butter Dayz sundae might be my favorite ice cream treat. My whole family loves Mels!
