Our Top 3 FAVs were Cannoli, Boston Cream, Bacon Maple. Texture crisp on the outside and fluffy @ss soft on the inside (raised donuts fried in shortening). We also tried Andes candies, Heath, chocolate iced, white iced with orange fairy dust, raspberry filled, cinnamon sugar rolled, which were all great as well. The service was friendly and quick. They even have doggie donuts for your lil doggo! ;)Would recommend pre-ordering if you want to guarantee that you’ll get the fancy flavors you want and cut down on your wait time.You can pre-order (the night b4) until midnight via TEXT...or roll the dice on what flavors are available when you just show up. I tried stuffed pumpkin and apple cider (the two smaller donuts), which were crisp on the outside and soft and cakey on the inside. I also tried maple bacon, glazed, French toast, and chocolate dip with sprinkles, which were all great as well. The service was friendly, and all customers wore masks and social distanced while in line. Would recommend pre-ordering if you want to guarantee that you’ll get the flavors you want and cut down on your wait time. Overall a great spot to pick up a yummy breakfast!

Gem of a place... I did not get what I pre-ordered but instead luckily got different variety and found them to be terrific. Great taste, quality, and freshness. It was a scenic 45 min drive to this place and they did not disappoint me. Another locally owned business that should be supported. Thanks again Redneck !

Awesome donuts. I have heard about how good these are since they were in Killingworth on 81. Now that they moved to Colchester, I finally got a chance to try one and OMG! We arrived a few minutes after 10am on a Saturday and she didnt even have a dozen left so we bought the rest of an assortment... Chocolate frosted (amazing!), Nutella filled, chocolate frosted with coconut, strawberry frosted with nerds, marshmallows, sprinkles etc., and a glazed.Theyre open Wednesday-Friday 6-12pm, Saturday and Sunday 7-12pm. Ruth (one of the owners) said she normally has donuts up until closing time, but on crazy days, like today, she will sell out by 10.All in all, well worth the drive - Excellent donuts!!

Redneck Donuts has the best apple cider donuts along with a great selection . I go there every Saturday and Sunday morning. Get there early before they run out. If you go as many times as I do they get to know your selection and have them ready for you when you get there.

Hands down the best donuts in the state! The staff is always friendly and the selection is huge! If your dont see one listed just ask if they could make it for you....you never know. Just wish they were open longer hours, but then it would detract from the freshness! The prices are very reasonable too....one thing to note though....SUPPPRT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS BY USING CASH! As I write this they do take credit and debit, but will probably get away from that form if payment because of the hefty fees. Best donuts in Colchester (and most likely the surrounding area)! All are made fresh daily, an excellent variety and a treat for the whole family. Bagels and cream cheese are available and very good as well as a small coffee selection. The family that runs is are the nicest people around and always have a smile for you. I bring these into work up in Hartford every now and again and theyre gone as soon as theyre set down.

Who does not love fresh made donuts like grandma used to make. You do not have to wait for an event, you can go get some every weekend and bring your 🐕 for doggie 🍩 too. Redneck Donuts makes a week start out fun! Must visit and bring some home too.

Fantastic doughnuts!!! Such a crazy variety, most times its VERY hard to choose! Ruth also takes care of our 4 legged friends as well with gourmet dog cookies. My puppy, Indiana, couldnt get enough of the cookie Ruth gave to her. All around great place to grab your morning doughnut to go w/ your coffee! Stop by & say hello, you wont regret it!

Used this company for my wedding- the day of the wedding I texted the owner to see when the donuts would be arriving and she informed me that she thought it was the following day. She did deliver our order, very late. Donuts were good though. Never received any type of apology from the owner or any compensation for delaying our cake cutting/dessert and stressing an already stressed out bride.

How do I even begin to rate this place? My unit had marched in the Memorial Day Parade so I decided to get my section some donuts from Rednecks. I buddy of mine had told me about them, he knows I love me a good donut.Well I come up to the trailer and ask the very nice lady working if it was cash only. She proceeded to tell me to pay her back the next time I swing by that way. Surprised at her response, I told her that I wanted to get a dozen and Ill find an ATM. I didnt want to not pay her. She said not to worry about it just pay her back later.When she gave me the dozen I asked her what the damage was so I could come back and pay her and then she said not to worry about. She didnt want me to pay. I was blown away. I was not expecting that at all.I cant express enough how appreciative I am of that gesture. Thank you so much for your generosity. It means a lot. Even if they were just donuts.So. As far as the donuts go. I had two lol. They were amazing. By far the best donuts in the area as far as I am concerned. Beyond that as well. If you are around Colchester definitely hit this place up. You will not be disappointed.

These are some of the best donuts you will ever have! I couldn’t believe how filling these were compared to all other donuts (Dunkin’ Donuts) you need to get there early before all the premium donuts are sold. Well worth the road trip.

Their offerings are creative and taste even better than they look and they look incredibly yummy! We got half a dozen assorted donuts and each was a gustatory delight!
