Love this place

Very open store, its easy to move around. There are many cute patterns and quilting supplies. There is not a huge selection of material, but the patterns are nice and arranged by theme. Though I havent taken classes here she does offer them.

Stopped in yesterday and found a bright, clean and friendly store! Great choices in fabric, nice displays and flowing creativity. Looks like a great classroom.....wish I was closer. If you are in the area, stop in.

This fabric store definitely isnt my favorite in the area. They do have a variety of fabrics available, including a nice selection of modern and seasonal prints. But their customer service is severely lacking. They are not very friendly in general, and unlike every other fabric store on the shop hop circuit, the bathroom is not available unless you are paying for a full day class. They wouldnt even let me use the bathroom when I was 9 months pregnant. Not nice.

What a wonderful bunch of folks: knowledgeable about materials and skilled in their craft. Specialize in quilting with classes and workshops. Plenty of fabric, tools and machines for the enthusiast.

Great shop and Nicolle and staff are terrific to deal with. So helpful and knowledgeable. A pleasure to shop there. To sum it up, one cheerful experience.

Shop owner Nicole is a very knowledgeable and friendly person who is always ready to answer questions and give guidance. Shop has a great variety of fabric, notions and more. This is a must visit shop

This place is cute, and if you are looking for quilting fabric they have a cute selection, but they dont offer much variety at all. They were dismissive, and unprofessional, they did not call me and update me about my machine that I had brought in to be fixed, they had it for almost 2 months, and still hadnt fixed it! They are the only babylock dealer around so I took my serger in to be fixed (a plastic lever used to thread the machine had broken) I tried explaining to the manager what was wrong when I dropped it off and she was more concerned with the older woman shopping than she was with me dropping off my machine (this women entered the store after I did, so it wasnt a first come first serve sort of deal). After 2 weeks I had not heard from them so I called, she stated that she needed to thread the machine so that her husband (the technician who works on the machines) could see if he could figure out what was wrong. I explained again that the lever to thread the machine is what has broken and needed to be reordered/replaced. I waited another month and since I had not heard from them I decided to call and was told that we cant fix that its too old, we cant get the pieces. I picked up my machine and called babylock myself and the woman was quite helpful and told me that my specific machine was an older model but that they still make the same machine and the levers have not changed and that they in fact could have ordered me a new one. she was kind enough to direct me to a site where I could buy the replacement lever as the company is not able to directly send replacement parts to non authorized dealers. I would not take a machine to them, they clearly dont care about their customers, and assume that because Im not in my 40s or 50s or what ever I didnt know what I was talking about. take your business elsewhere, the Sew and Vac in Middlebury is wonderful!
