Highly recommend this local appliance store. They were able to price match all the big box stores and their delivery service was fantastic. They got everything in and into place. I will say, they couldnt quite price match on the fridge I wanted but everything else was perfect. I understood they couldnt go as low as the other independent retailer so that was the only appliance I got elsewhere. Everything else came from Smarter Appliance. Thanks guys!

Window AC died in the middle of the night. Next morning I searched online for models and prices to get a sense of what was available and where. I have not needed an appliance since Smarter Appliance opened but I love to shop local. I called to get availability and a price. Travis gave a great quote right away on the phone. Service was great when I arrived to pick it up. I am definitely going back. PS. Don’t get confused by the prices on their website which appear to be full retail for some items. Call to get the price.

Hands down the best place to purchase appliances and bedding. Not only do they have the best prices in the area, but if you are able to find a better price, theyll match it. Perhaps most important of all is the service and delivey that accompany a purchase from Smarter Appliance. This shopping experience is the very best of shopping local. They offer a great variety of quality appliances at all price points. The staff is so knowledgeable and they will go above and beyond to make sure they meet every need.

Cant recommend these guys highly enough. My washing machine died and they were able to have a replacement delivered and installed the same day. Super professional, too. Ill never do business anywhere else.

Our microwave suddenly kicked the bucket mid use. We needed a new one in a hurry so I just googled the nearest areas. I have driven past this place probably hundreds of times at this point and just never thought to stop in. That was a mistake. The customer service here is incredible. The man that helped us (I suck at names but he was a saints fan) was incredibly friendly and was a lot of fun to chat with. The stock here was more varied than I expected. We have some appliances that will needed to be replaced in the near future. The customer service we received here means this will be where we go for those replacements.

If you are looking for excellent customer service look no further than Smarter Appliance! Tony was very professional and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about the delivery of my dryer from having to remove my entry door to making sure the dryer was level. Support local businesses because you get the customer service you can’t put a price on and often don’t get good service from big box stores.

Horrible customer service. It was my first time mattress shopping and I sit down on one of the mattresses to take my shoes off. Then one of the employees yelled at me saying I needed to lay down on the mattress. We left Immediately. Never going back.

Made the mistake 2 months ago and purchased a new Air Conditioner from Home Depot! Woke up this morning to a no longer functioning air conditioner! Having a family member that is both diabetic as well as recently diagnosed congestive heart failure it is IMPORTANT the house be kept cold! Tony at Smarter Appliance came to our rescue today when we were in an absolute panic! Called and he told us he had Friedrich (one of the BEST) and we rushed right over! Installed the new air conditioner and we can take a deep breath all thanks to Tony and Smarter Appliance!

We were looking for a great suite of kitchen appliances at the best price, in black stainless steel. We had been to several of the big box stores and still had many questions. When I began talking with Joe at Smarter Appliance in Colchester, we were impressed by his expertise and ability to answer every question. Not only did Smarter Appliance have a great range of brands and models, it had the top-of-the-line stuff that we wanted. And when we priced things out, he would compare our selections with the best price at the big box stores and match or do better. He thoroughly explained the warrantees and various plans available. When it was time for installation, Travis and crew got everything right the first time and all working perfectly. Joe, Travis and crew are very personable and great to work with. We cannot recommend Smarter Appliance in Colchester highly enough.

I like to shop local but cash is king and a low price can lure me into the big box stores. Smarter Appliance matches the big box stores price with better service and a more knowledgeable;e staff than youll find anywhere else..I had a great experience.

Shop Local...that is the sign outside of the business. Boy am I glad I did! Joe and his team have a wonderful store right in my home town. Friendly, knowledgable, and a no-pressure presentation, puts this business in my top ten. I want to tell you what really blew my socks off...we looked at several dishwashers and we made our pick. We get to writing up the sale and Travis, our salesman went out to check to see if any other place had it cheaper and they did and Travis reduced the price. We didnt even have to ask! Go there...you will not be disappointed! I know we will be going back.
