Loved this place from the very first time we visited. The service and staff has always been great. We come here at least three times a week. We are sorry to see that Bess is no longer working here . She was always friendly and courteous. Wish she was still here. All of the staff does a wonderful job,but Bess knew what you wanted and knew how to fix it the minute you stepped in the door. Hope she comes back.

Very nice location in an historic house. Cozy places to sit. Service was a bit slow as they were busy but not unreasonable. Prices reasonable. Extensive coffee and tea selection. Also can purchase bean or ground coffee and also the tea. Menu small but my breakfast sandwich was pretty good.

Love the decor and beauty of the large windows. excellent soups and beverages. Best Cheesecake i have ever tasted. come for lunch if you have a while to sit and wait while its prepared just for you. Clean, friendly courteous staff. fairly accessible pricing.

Had chicken salad on a croissant. It was good but the layer of chicken was so thin it barely covered the bread. In fact, in places it didnt, was just bread. I wanted ice tea and had to choose from all their specialties. I chose what was recommended and it was so strong and bitter couldnt hardly finish it. Plus the tea was over $3.50 for a med! I thought everything was very expensive for what you got! Wont go there again

Amazing coffee place/gallery. The gentleman working there has brilliant customer service skills! The place was packed when I got there but everyone got the right order and my cappuccino was delicious! 10/10 recommend, take your family and friends there, enjoy the nice seats and beautiful paintings.

This place is tops for me in coffee shops. Great Victorian house turned coffee and tea shop. Lots of great comfy seating. Beautiful jewelry and hand made items to look at. Good food and coffee drinks to boot! If your driving in or near Coldwater MI stop in here and give them a try!

First time visiting yesterday (9/23/19)Huge, gorgeous and historical home!I had a cinnamon/vanilla latte that was delicious and my husband had black coffee but I cannot remember which one. He said it was the best coffee in Coldwater! My latte was delicious! We both had their chicken salad croissant and that was also delicious! I grabbed a lemon pound cake that also was so fricken good too!We sat in the front enclosed porch which is beautiful and so comfy. Highly recommend this place!

Wow, this coffee shop is in a beautiful brick home built in the 1840s! They have very cool whole bean coffees for sale as well as wonderful homemade pastries and coffee drinks. My latte with white chocolate and caramel, recommended by the barista, was delicious. My only suggestion would be to light up the front of the beautiful house in the evening -- it doesnt look open from the front. We thought it was closed until we drove to the rear and saw the small open sign on a rear door. We were so glad we didnt just drive by!

Incredibly unpleasant experience. The coffee was very good but we felt super unwelcome. We ordered, paid, tipped and said thank you... no response, no smile. We wandered around looking at the art on display while our drinks were prepared. A few minutes later the barista came to find us and with a scowl on her face asked if we wanted whipped cream on the frozen drink. We told her yes and said “Oh, I’m sorry” and she just turned on her heel and went back to the counter with no response. I don’t need to pay $12 for two drinks and a bad attitude. Biggby’s is right next door. Everybody commented on how nice the staff usually is. Please put those people out front!

I had a great coffee, the people were very friendly. They have an abundant amount of exotic sounding bags of coffee from many different countries. I suggest you also put up a brief description of the coffee so that people can better decide which ones sound interesting to taste.

Very nice lunch! My wife had a panini and I had a wrap. We also had pie, cherry for me and blueberry for her. A quaint old house with tables and chairs set up in every room. We recommend it as a nice change of pace.

Conveniently located on a main Street near the interstate but far enough off the road to offer a peaceful setting, you will find adequate parking.

It was a small business/restaurant to relax in the familiarity of a home. At this place I had a smoothie with whipped cream; it was satisfying!

We were there a few days ago and had the grumpiest barista I’ve ever met in my life. It’s a convenient place to stop, but on our way back home we went to the biggby next door. I don’t know why the woman we dealt with was in such a mood, but we are not going back. The feeling was almost hostile. The coffee was about what you’d expect from the biggby. If you don’t want an uncomfortable time, I’d go there instead.

The house is absolutely beautiful! Quite a unique coffee shop. However, the coffee itself seems to be quite lacking. After coming here several times, I have had a variety of drinks, all tasting quite average or worse (couldn’t even choke down the drink I had today as it was thoroughly inundated and drowning in caramel flavoring). It’s also eerily quiet in the house...making it an awkward place for a conversation, but a great place to get work done. In the end, it’s a great place to grab a pastry and read a book; not to grab a coffee.

Fantastic, friendly service at a good price. The atmosphere is simply wonderful for a visiting with a friend, having a study group or whatever!

Great coffee and cheese cake. Sandwich was not too bad, not great but heck, its a coffee stop. The employees were real personable.

I ordered 2 iced white chocolate caramel mochas with a hint of salt. The entire time I was placing my order I felt as if I was being rushed. I also ordered 2 cinnamon rolls. The latte that i ordered is dark chocolate and it taste like straight syrup. This is not what I ordered. The lady that took my order was very rude. I come in here quite often and the gentleman that usually takes my order is super nice and actually knows how to make coffee. Today my experience was horrible and bigby coffee would have tasted a lot better.

Decaf coffee at 1:30 was made specially for us. Hot and delicious. Beef barley soup thick and tasty, albeit a bit to salty.

If you want REAL coffee, this is the place. And ask for the home made syrups. Completely organic and natural. And above everything, super delicious.

Stopped here on our way out of town. Would be a great coffee shop for studying or working (or a bridal shower). Coffee and chai tea latte were great!

They small have almonds milk as a milk alternative, which I appreciate as a lactose intolerant person who is also allergic to soy.My favorite thing to get is the dirty hippie (chai latte made with soy milk and a shot of espresso), although I get mine with almond milk.

The owners of this fantastic mansion are truly delightful and the coffee is SUPERB! The gallery, with its variety of artists, is just an added bonus. Seriously, I never expected something of this quality in Coldwater.

Great coffee (try the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Idido, you wont be sorry) best baked goods (cheese cake, pies, bread) are all made from scratch on premises and are the best you can get in the resort town of Coldwater. Staff is friendly, courteous. To top it off, the historic A.C. Fisk house is beautiful with lots to look at and room for conferences. Fast, free Wi-Fi. Dont bother to go any place else for coffee, let alone lunch/dessert.

This is a great, cozy apot with wonderful coffee and a friendly staff. I stop here often when I am travelig through Coldwater. There are plenty of tables to sit at, get some work done and charge all your devices.
